Jill Biden Tests Positive For COVID Again
First Lady Jill Biden has again been diagnosed with COVID, her office announced on Monday.
“This evening, the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently experiencing only mild symptoms,” said her communications director Elizabeth Alexander.
In a separate statement, the White House said President Joe Biden tested negative for COVID after his wife’s positive test.
The first lady will remain at their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, according to her representative.
Jill Biden, 72, and President Biden, 80, both of whom received COVID vaccines and booster shots, have been doing some traveling together in recent days.
They both tested positive for COVID last year and each underwent “rebound” cases in the weeks that followed.
COVID cases in the United States are reportedly on the rise again as new variants have started to establish themselves.
“I have no home to go to. Secret Service has torn my house up, in a good way, to make it secure. I have no place to go when I go to Delaware except here right now. I'm only here for one day. No I am not homeless, I just have 1 home I have a beautiful home"
