Senator <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/john-fetterman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">John Fetterman</a> (D-PA) confirmed on Thursday that he intended to take a meeting at Mar-a-Lago with President-elect Donald Trump, making him the first Senate Democrat to do so.

Fetterman may not have much company among his Democratic colleagues, however, according a recent video made for social media. After first promising to work for the people, they also promised to fight against any Trump policies that they did not like.

A woman who worked for a Pennsylvania voting rights organization patterned after Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams’ New Georgia Project has been charged with trying to register dead people to vote in the 2024 presidential election.
Jennifer Hill, 38, who had worked with the New Pennsylvania Project as a canvasser, tried to register 310 people to vote between April 2024 and September 2024. Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said 181 of the voters were successfully registered, NBC Philadelphia <a href="https://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/decision-2024/woman-accused-of-trying-to-fraudulently-register-4-people-to-vote-in-election/4059830/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Among those alleged 310 people were Hill’s deceased father and another person who had died in her home.

“She knows that because she was the person who called the police to come when he died in her house,” Stollsteimer said. “She did register a fraudulent person and my understanding is this is sort of a gap in the system where by putting in no date of birth and no social security number, it goes through and became a verified voter registration. She did not take any further step. That fictitious person did not vote in the 2024 election. But that shows you how we still have gaps in our system that we need to have the legislature address.”

Immediately upon being notified of the potential issues, we suspended the staff member pending investigation. An internal investigation was launched, and the organization paused our voter registration programs in several regions pending the outcome of our investigation.”

Luigi Mangione, the man suspected of assassinating UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, waived his extradition to New York on Thursday after initially signaling he would <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/suspected-unitedhealthcare-ceo-assassin-fights-extradition-to-new-york" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fight</a> it while remaining in a Pennsylvania prison.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced on Tuesday that Mangione is being charged with first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism and two second-degree murder counts, one of which is charged as a killing in the act of terrorism. Mangione was immediately transferred to NYPD custody following his extradition hearing, and he is being flown to New York City, where he is set to appear for arraignment in Manhattan later on Thursday, CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/newyork/news/unitedhealthcare-ceo-murder-suspect-luigi-mangione-extradition-hearing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Mangione also faces federal charges of murder, stalking, and weapons charges, according to a complaint unsealed Thursday, the Associated Press <a href="https://www.kcra.com/article/unitedhealthcare-ceo-murder-suspect-federal-charges/63238747" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. The federal murder charge makes him eligible for the death penalty. A courtroom was set aside in a Manhattan federal courthouse for Mangione, and he&#8217;s expected to appear in federal court Thursday afternoon.

Around 100 supporters of Mangione gathered outside the courthouse in Pennsylvania, according to <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/12/19/us-news/luigi-mangione-arrives-at-courthouse-as-throngs-of-protesters-gather-outside-to-show-support-for-alleged-killer/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the New York Post</a>. It was a cold and calculated crime that stole a life and put New Yorkers at risk,” Tisch said. “We don’t celebrate murders and we don’t lionize the killing of anyone. And any attempt to rationalize this is vile, wreckless, and offensive to our deeply held principles of justice.”
Bragg claims that Mangione “intended to evoke terror” with his alleged murder of Thompson. The DA argued that the killing of Thompson on December 4 “was intended to cause shock and attention and intimidation.” Some legal experts expressed skepticism over the prosecution’s chances to convict Mangione on the terrorism charges. In an interview with CNN&#8217;s Anderson Cooper, former federal prosecutor Jessica Roth suggested that “by including” the terrorism charges, “the district attorney is setting up the conditions for a plea to a lesser charge where he has the possibility of, at some point, getting out of prison.”

The House task force investigating the multiple attempts to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump released its <a href="https://taskforce.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/july13taskforce.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/12-5-2024-Final-Report-Redacted.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">final report</a> on Tuesday, finding that the attack on Trump during a campaign rally at Butler, Pennsylvania, was entirely preventable.
The task force said that the July 13 assassination attempt by 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks was enabled by a number of errors leading up to the rally and the day of the attack. These mistakes included failing to secure the rally site, technological issues, and a “fragmented” communication structure. 
“The Task Force found that the tragic and shocking events in Butler, Pennsylvania were preventable and should not have happened,” the 180-page report said. “The various failures in planning, execution, and leadership on and before July 13, 2024, and the preexisting conditions that undermined the effectiveness of the human and material assets deployed that day, coalesced to create an environment in which the former President—and everyone at the campaign event—were exposed to grave danger.”
These failures led to Trump being shot in the ear, two rally attendees being shot, and 50-year-old Corey Comperatore being killed. Many of the findings of the final report mirror the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/house-finds-secret-service-responsible-for-preventable-trump-assassination-attempt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interim report</a> the task force released in October.
The bipartisan panel was first formed on July 25 to investigate the Butler attack but was later given authority to expand its investigation to include the second attempt on Trump’s life in Florida on September 15. In that incident, a man hid in the bushes with a gun outside the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach. 
After noticing the man in the bushes, a Secret Service agent opened fire and the man fled. Ryan Routh, the man accused in that attack, was arrested and is currently awaiting trial. 
&#8220;Conversely, the events that transpired on September 15, 2024, in West Palm Beach, Florida, demonstrated how properly executed protective measures can foil an attempted assassination,” the report said, comparing the two situations.

Led by Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), the committee visited West Palm Beach on November 16 as part of its probe. The lawmakers added that multiple federal agencies <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-shooting-task-force-says-dhs-secret-service-havent-produced-docs-golf-course-incident" target="_blank" rel="noopener">had yet </a>to provide them with information on a second assassination attempt.
“The Task Force notes that as of the date of publication of this report, DHS, USSS, FBI, and ATF have not produced any documents responsive to the Task Force’s requests regarding the preparation for, events of, and response to the second assassination attempt that occurred on September 15,” the lawmakers wrote.

Luigi Mangione, the man charged with murder in the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is fighting extradition to New York, setting off a process that could last weeks, The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/12/10/nyregion/unitedhealthcare-ceo-luigi-mangione/06cf9a03-f28b-5ebf-a60f-6ea6cde367d6?smid=url-share" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.
Mangione&#8217;s lawyer, Thomas Dickey, told the judge in a hearing on Tuesday afternoon that his client &#8220;is contesting&#8221; the extradition. The suspected assassin was arrested on gun and forgery charges in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Monday before he was charged with second-degree murder in New York.
Now that Mangione has decided to fight the extradition, he is entitled to an evidentiary hearing, which will require the Manhattan District Attorney&#8217;s Office to put up a witness. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul will also have to submit a &#8220;governor&#8217;s warrant&#8221; to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, requesting the extradition, according to the Times.
The lawyer told the judge that Mangione was wearing a mask during his arrest because of his fear of COVID. Mangione reportedly began to say, &#8220;I bought the mask —&#8221; before his lawyer shushed him and <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/12/10/nyregion/unitedhealthcare-ceo-luigi-mangione/ac407d65-eb50-52ab-b268-43c31012af42?smid=url-share" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>, &#8220;No, no. Don&#8217;t say a word.&#8221;
The assassin was masked when he gunned down Thompson, a shooting that was caught on surveillance footage. The NYPD later circulated photos showing a person of interest lowering his mask in the lobby of a Manhattan hostel. NYPD authorities credited those photos as the key to Mangione&#8217;s arrest. A person at an Altoona, Pennsylvania, McDonald&#8217;s — where the suspect stopped for lunch after getting off a Greyhound bus — recognized Mangione from the photos circulated by the NYPD.
The suspect&#8217;s lawyer requested the judge to set bail, but the judge refused, and Mangione will be held behind bars in Pennsylvania during his extradition process.
While many states consider a premeditated killing first-degree murder, New York reserves the first-degree murder charge for killing for hire, killing a person in law enforcement, killing a witness, killing while serving a long sentence, and killing with torture, according to the Times. First- and second-degree murder convictions in New York can result in life in prison, but the minimum sentence differs from 15 years under second-degree murder and 20 years under first-degree murder.

The man suspected of assassinating UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson is set to be extradited to New York where he was charged with second-degree murder on Monday after being arrested at an Altoona, Pennsylvania, McDonald&#8217;s fast food restaurant on firearms charges.

According to law enforcement sources, Mangione was traveling through Altoona on a Greyhound bus when he went to eat at McDonald&#8217;s, ABC News reported. A customer who recognized Mangione from photos circulated by the NYPD alerted an employee at the fast food chain, who then reported Mangione to the police. When Altoona police arrived to question Mangione, they found multiple fake IDs on him and what appeared to be a homemade firearm and suppressor, according to authorities.
Mangione also had a written manifesto on him that mentioned &#8220;United,&#8221; a law enforcement source told <a href="https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/brian-thompson-unitedhealthcare-death-investigation-12-9-24#cm4hseo6h000a3b6ql61r5nh3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CNN</a>. “To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn’t working with anyone,” Mangione allegedly wrote.
Mangione also faces multiple charges in Pennsylvania, including carrying a gun without a license, forgery, falsely identifying himself to authorities, and possessing &#8220;instruments of crime.&#8221; The 26-year-old suspect is originally from Maryland and earned a degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania. Authorities believe Mangione has ties to San Francisco and most recently lived in Honolulu.

Thompson, 50, was gunned down on a Midtown Manhattan street last Wednesday morning as he was making his way to the Hilton hotel for his company&#8217;s Investor&#8217;s Conference. The CEO was approached from behind by a masked assassin dressed in black who shot Thompson in the back, causing him to stumble to the ground, before firing more shots at him. The assassin used what appeared to be a handgun with a suppressor. Thompson was declared dead a short time later at the hospital. The CEO is <a href="https://people.com/brian-thompson-healthcare-ceo-dedicated-father-family-says-8756058" target="_blank" rel="noopener">survived</a> by his wife, Paulette, and their two children.

A man was arrested by authorities on Monday and is being held for questioning in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in connection with the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The man nabbed by police in Pennsylvania has a similar gun to the one used by the assassin, ABC News <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/unitedhealthcare-ceo-shooting-latest-net-closing-suspect-new/story?utm_source=facebook&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=dhfacebook&amp;utm_content=null&amp;id=116591169" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>, citing law enforcement sources. The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/12/09/us-news/person-of-interest-nabbed-in-fatal-shooting-of-unitedhealthcare-ceo-brian-thompson-outside-nyc-hotel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that the man also had a silencer and four fake IDs. NYPD detectives are heading to Altoona, which is about 275 miles from New York City.
Local police received a tip about the man when he was at a McDonald&#8217;s. A senior law enforcement official told <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/12/09/nyregion/uhc-ceo-murder-suspect/f90315f2-f7e6-5786-8fae-574ec5585ab4?smid=url-share" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Times</a> that the man detained by police showed officers the same fake New Jersey ID used by a person of interest in the case who checked into a Manhattan hostel on November 24. The man arrested at the Altoona McDonald&#8217;s also had a written manifesto on him that criticized healthcare companies, a senior law enforcement official told the Times. He was arrested in Altoona on firearms charges.
According to the Times, a senior law enforcement official said that the man arrested in Pennsylvania arrived in Altoona on a Greyhound bus. The person of interest sought by police is also believed to have arrived in New York City on a Greyhound before Thompson was assassinated.
Police released surveillance photos of the person of interest smiling in the lobby of the hostel where the individual stayed before Thompson was killed.
Thompson was gunned down last Wednesday morning by a masked assassin in dark clothing and wearing a &#8220;distinctive&#8221; gray backpack. Initially, authorities said that shell casings recovered by detectives at the scene of the CEO&#8217;s assassination had the words &#8220;deny,&#8221; &#8220;defend,&#8221; and &#8220;depose&#8221; written on them. According to <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/unitedhealthcare-ceo-shooting-brian-thompson-suspect-what-know-rcna183155" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBC News</a>, however, police clarified on Friday that the shell casings it was &#8220;delay,&#8221; not &#8220;defend,&#8221; written along with &#8220;deny&#8221; and &#8220;depose.&#8221; UnitedHealthcare is a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, the largest healthcare company in the world.
The killer was seen on surveillance fleeing the scene of the assassination on foot before getting on a bike and riding into Central Park. Police recovered what they believed to be the assassin&#8217;s backpack in Central Park on Friday night. On Saturday, NYPD released additional images showing a &#8220;person of interest wanted for questioning&#8221; in connection to the assassination. In the new photos, a person wearing a medical mask is seen in what appears to be the back of a taxi cab.

Acting <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/secret-service" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Secret Service</a> Director Ronald Rowe is set to testify Thursday morning before a House task force investigating the attempted assassination of President-elect Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Rowe will be questioned by a 13-member independent panel that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/house-finds-secret-service-responsible-for-preventable-trump-assassination-attempt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">released a report</a> in October finding the Secret Service responsible for the “preventable” attempt on Trump’s life. Rowe is expected to tell lawmakers that disciplinary actions are being taken for the lapses that allowed 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks to get within 150 yards of Trump and shoot him in the ear during a rally in Butler on July 13.
&#8220;Employees receiving proposals of discipline will be provided due process under agency policy as well as any applicable laws and regulations. But, let me be clear, there will be accountability, and that accountability is occurring,” Rowe will say, <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/accountability-occurring-us-secret-service-director-house-panel/story?id=116467833" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to a copy of his prepared remarks shared with ABC. “Consistent with applicable laws and regulations, I cannot comment further on specific disciplinary actions underway or being considered.&#8221;
Rowe will also say that the agency has made several major changes to securing locations, including more coordination with law enforcement partners. At the Butler rally, numerous communication errors delayed law enforcement&#8217;s response to Crooks, who had been identified as a person of interest more than an hour before he opened fire. 
&#8220;My goal is to improve our mission effectiveness and rebuild public trust,&#8221; according to Rowe&#8217;s written testimony. &#8220;One of the key systemic changes was the directive to mandate a unified command in a singular location for all protective sites, something that was not done on July 13th in Butler. This co-location enhances our communications and intelligence-sharing mechanisms with state, local and federal partners to better anticipate threats and respond to them more swiftly.&#8221;
Other changes implemented, according to a <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/trump-assassination-attempt-secret-service-acting-director-reveals-numerous-changes-agency-has-implemented" target="_blank" rel="noopener">copy</a> of his remarks shared with Fox News, included using more drones, ensuring radios are in order, and increasing staffing levels for agents protecting Trump.

Rowe’s prepared testimony says the Butler rally, where Trump was shot, supporter Corey Comperatore was killed, and two other rallygoers were injured, exposed &#8220;critical gaps” in the Secret Service’s operations and was an &#8220;abject failure.&#8221; 
&#8220;July 13th was a failure of the Secret Service to adequately secure the Butler Farm Show site and protect President-elect Trump,&#8221; Rowe is expected to say. &#8220;While I cannot undo the harm that has been done, I am committed to doing everything in my power to ensure that the Secret Service never has a failure like this again.&#8221;
In its report, the House panel faulted the Secret Service for failing to secure the roof from where Crooks fired at Trump and setting up a security perimeter that allowed people to get within around 150 yards of the stage where Trump was speaking without going through security screening. 
Investigations by both the Senate and an independent panel formed by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas have also found the Secret Service liable for the attack.

Sen. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/bob-casey" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bob Casey</a> (D-PA) announced Thursday evening that he has conceded the Senate race to Republican Dave McCormick after contesting the results of the election for two weeks.
McCormick beat Casey by a narrow margin, just a little over 16,000 votes, according to the latest figures from the Associated Press. The margin was well within the 0.5% margin required to trigger an automatic recount.
&#8220;I just called Dave McCormick to congratulate him on his election to represent Pennsylvania in the United States Senate,&#8221; Casey said in the statement. &#8220;As the first count of ballots is completed, Pennsylvanians can move forward with the knowledge that their voices were heard, whether their vote was the first to be counted or the last.&#8221;
&#8220;This race was one of the closest in our Commonwealth’s history, decided by less than a quarter of a point,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I am grateful to the thousands of people who worked to make sure every eligible vote cast could be counted, including election officials in all 67 counties.&#8221;

Democrat <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pennsylvania" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pennsylvania</a> election official Diane Ellis-Marseglia admitted that she was wrong to defy the state Supreme Court’s ruling to count faulty ballots in the 2024 election ahead of a recount in the state’s Senate race.
On Wednesday during a heated county meeting, the Bucks County commissioner pleaded with the voters to forgive her &#8212; though <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/people-violate-laws-any-time-they-want-dem-election-officials-state-willingness-to-defy-law-ahead-of-recount">Ellis-Marseglia</a> said last week that “we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws any time they want” as she called for others to join her in violating the law, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/20/politics/pennsylvania-democratic-official-apologizes-for-comments-about-ignoring-election-laws/index.html">CNN</a> reported.
“The passion in my heart got the best of me and I apologize again for that,” the county commissioner <a href="https://x.com/Eddies_X/status/1859322671676142034">told</a> the crowd.
“I made a mistake, and because I am an elected official, I am held to a far higher standard than everybody else,” she added. “So, to the citizens I serve, I apologize, and I will continue to work hard for you and endeavor to not make such a mistake again.”

The race for the Senate seat in the swing state is close enough that it has triggered an automatic recount as Senator Bob Casey refuses to concede to Republican Dave McCormick, after multiple outlets, including the Associated Press and Decision Desk HQ, called the race for McCormick.

Last week, Gene DiGirolamo, the sole Republican on the three-person panel, introduced a motion to reject the attempt to count what the GOP <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/mccormick-campaign-sues-bucks-county-165814957.html">called</a> “noncompliant” ballots. In response, Marseglia dismissed the proposal out of hand.
“Not going to second that, mostly because I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter in this country and people violate laws any time they want,” she said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want the court to pay attention to it.”
Marseglia and the second Democrat on the commission, Robert Harvie, voted to count the disqualified ballots.

Children&#8217;s Hospital of Philadelphia is one of the top offenders in the United States when it comes to irreversible sex change procedures for children, according to a digital campaign launching Tuesday.
The hospital, known as &#8220;CHOP,&#8221; boasts that it is the first United States hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. It has programs devoted to helping children explore and attempt to change their gender — and according to the advocacy group Do No Harm, the hospital is &#8220;leading the nation&#8221; in offering &#8220;life-altering sex related interventions for minors.&#8221;
Do No Harm is targeting CHOP with a <a href="https://youtu.be/fzBuwH1630Q?si=uvyU_Cw64f3PCw00">new digital campaign</a> that will make Philadelphia parents aware of the hospital&#8217;s devotion to gender ideology. The campaign also includes a video that discusses how much money CHOP has made from child transgender interventions and urges the hospital itself to &#8220;stop the harm.&#8221;
“Our campaign shines a light on CHOP and Admiral Levine’s collusion that helped shape Pennsylvania into one of the nation’s most prolific promoters of sex change treatments for children,&#8221; Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, the chairman of Do No Harm, told The Daily Wire. &#8220;By embracing experimental and irreversible sex changes for minors, CHOP has violated its primary duty to do no harm and to provide the highest medical care.&#8221;
&#8220;We hope to provide patients and families with the resources they need to learn the truth about CHOP’s politicization of medicine enabled by powerful ideologues like Admiral Levine and former Governor Tom Wolf,&#8221; he added.

The video notes that in 2008, CHOP started a progressive health policy think tank that ultimately became the CHOP Gender Clinic, and in 2015, former Democratic Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf appointed a man who identifies as a woman, now Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine, as the general physician for Pennsylvania.
&#8220;Together, Wolf and Levine engaged activists across the state, empowering CHOP to continue its self-proclaimed gender care for minors, even visiting schools for weekly referrals,&#8221; the video warns. &#8220;The reality? Children were prescribed puberty blockers and underwent sex change surgeries. CHOP&#8217;s actions have since altered hundreds of children&#8217;s and family lives forever.&#8221;
It continues: &#8220;CHOP went so far as to train their staff to hide information about children&#8217;s perceived gender identity and coerce parents into supporting these irreversible sex changes while Levine was successful in securing millions in taxpayer dollars to cover the costs.&#8221;
According to Do No Harm&#8217;s data, CHOP <a href="https://stoptheharmdatabase.com/state/pennsylvania/">has written</a> 768 prescriptions for children &#8220;undergoing sex-related interventions,&#8221; administered hormones and puberty blockers to 117 patients,  and performed sex-change surgeries on five minors, forever altering these children&#8217;s bodies and lives. The hospital has submitted $230,784 in total submitted charges.

CHOP is not the only hospital in Pennsylvania that is focused on these types of interventions for children. Do No Harm&#8217;s database notes that Penn State Children&#8217;s Hospital has had 10 minor sex change surgery patients, and the UPMC Children&#8217;s Hospital of Pittsburgh has had four.
Throughout the state, many more patients are accessing so-called &#8220;gender-affirming care.&#8221; According to Do No Harm, the state has had 814 total sex change patients, and over $5 million in total submitted charges.
CHOP did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro, considered one of the favorites for the 2028 Democrat presidential nomination, took the side of a court that ruled against Democratic officials who defied state law — but condemned such actions by officials after the court’s ruling.
On Monday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that counties must reject undated and misdated ballots after Democrat election officials openly defied the order last week. The officials’ actions came as the recount of the race between Democratic Sen. Bob Casey and Republican Dave McCormick began. Casey would not concede after multiple outlets, including the Associated Press and Decision Desk HQ, called the race for McCormick.
Last week, Democrats in the Bucks County Office of Commissioners <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/people-violate-laws-any-time-they-want-dem-election-officials-state-willingness-to-defy-law-ahead-of-recount" target="_blank" rel="noopener">rejected</a> their Republican colleague’s motion to stop “noncompliant” ballots from being counted. The Democrats’ move came after the commonwealth’s Supreme Court granted the GOP’s request to block the counting of mail ballots without dates.

“It is critical to the rule of law that individual counties and municipalities and their elected and appointed officials, like any other parties, obey orders of this Court,” Justice David Wecht wrote in a 4-3 decision, according to <a href="https://thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4996749-pennsylvania-supreme-court-undated-mail-ballots/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Hill</a>. Casey’s campaign intervened to oppose the effort to stop undated mail ballots from being counted.
Shapiro issued no statement about the Democrat officials’ actions until the court ruled against his party. He blamed a “lack of clarity” due to “certain legislative actors refusing to act on critical election reforms” for the issue having to be resolved by the courts.
