Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser and his wife Cynthia Daniel said their 10-year-old daughter was not happy watching her father perform love scenes with co-star Kelly Reilly.

“I can say our daughter does not like seeing Cole kiss Beth [Reilly] on this show. It makes her really uncomfortable,” Daniel told US Weekly of their daughter Steely Rose while walking the red carpet at this year’s Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

“Especially at first,” Hauser chimed in. “She was like, ‘What the hell was that?’”

He was amused that she “almost ran out of the room pissed off.”

The actor, who plays Rip Wheeler in the popular Paramount Network series, said his daughter has since gotten used to seeing it.

The couple said their three children have all been watching “Yellowstone” since its 2018 premiere.

Daniel said she understands her daughter’s point of view and was even a bit uncomfortable herself in the beginning, even though she is also an actress.

“I mean, I have to say the first episode was Cole slamming Beth (Reilly) against the wall, having sex and making out, so it was a little intense, but like I said Kelly is such a cool girl, and she makes it very comfortable,” Hauser’s wife explained.

She said having a great relationship with Reilly has gone a long way toward making those love scenes more tolerable. Daniel said she “love[s] their characters together” and that Reilly is “like a sister.”

Hauser agreed, saying he would be happy if Rip’s future included “sitting on a porch with Beth.”

“I think they love each other too much [to ever split]. They’re meant to be together,” the actor said

The show just scored its first major award at the 80th Golden Globes on Tuesday night when Kevin Costner won Best Actor in a Drama Series.

“Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press and [Golden Globes] for this tremendous honor and to the [Yellowstone] team for bringing John Dutton’s world to life. I share this recognition with my castmates, the producers, and our incredible crew,” Costner, who plays John Dutton in the series, tweeted in response to the win.

“Most of all, thank you to our show’s fans, who love Yellowstone Ranch as if it were their own,” he shared.

The show has been steadily climbing in viewership and popularity and boasted record-high audience numbers for the season 5 premiere in November.
