The Department of Government Efficiency (<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/department-of-government-efficiency-doge" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DOGE)</a> appears to have gotten off to a fast start during the first two weeks of President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a>&#8216;s second term.
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/elon-musk" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elon Musk</a>, who leads DOGE, delivered a number of updates on his social media platform, X, on Friday and into the weekend about what it takes to cut government spending by billions of dollars a day.
He shared a post from DOGE that showed a <a href="https://x.com/DOGE/status/1885420298138247458" target="_blank" rel="noopener">list</a> of more than 100 &#8220;DEI related contract cancellations&#8221; that resulted in more than $1 billion worth of &#8220;savings.&#8221;
