As the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/travis-kelce">Travis Kelce</a>/<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/taylor-swift">Taylor Swift</a> romance continues to dominate headlines, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/nfl">NFL</a> star’s father is sharing some kind words about his son’s new girlfriend.
Ed Kelce told <a href="https://people.com/travis-kelce-dad-ed-talks-very-sweet-taylor-swift-exclusive-8367489">People Magazine</a> that Swift is “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman.&#8221;
The “Bad Blood” singer has been spotted hanging out in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium wearing <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kansas-city-chiefs">Kansas City Chiefs</a> apparel and cheering on Travis. Ed told the outlet he found Swift to be “very genuine&#8221; and recalled an incident from when they first met.
“I’ll tell you something very special that I noticed about Taylor the first time I met her,” Ed recalled.
“We&#8217;re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can.”
He continued, “And I&#8217;m just thinking, I don&#8217;t think she got the diva memo. She didn&#8217;t get the spoiled musician. She doesn&#8217;t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot.”

“She&#8217;s very smart. I mean, very. That comes through right away,” Ed added.
Swift has also been seen hanging out with Travis’ mom, Donna, and conversing with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes. The Kelces are a football family as their other son, Jason Kelce, plays center for the Philadelphia Eagles. 
Swift and Kelce have not publicly confirmed the status of their relationship yet. The Grammy award-winning singer and the Chiefs player were spotted holding hands as they left Sunday’s Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers game. Swift was also seen in the suite sporting a No. 87 friendship bracelet, which is Travis&#8217; jersey number.
Fans noticed how Kelce has been playing better when Swift is in attendance and Swift’s fans have been watching a lot more football. The NFL defended all the attention the league has given the romance, which has received mixed reviews from diehard football fans.
