<p>Roumie&#8217;s latest faith-based project is based on &#8220;the true story of a national spiritual awakening in the early 1970s and its origins within a community of teenage hippies in Southern California,&#8221; per an <a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10098448/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0">IMDb</a> description.</p>
<p>Conservative television and movie star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/conservative-star-kelsey-grammer-on-his-difficult-path-to-faith-ahead-of-upcoming-movie-jesus-revolution">Kelsey Grammar</a> joins Roumie in the upcoming movie. Jonathan plays hippie preacher Lonnie Frisbee in the film directed by Jon Erwin. Grammar plays the late Chuck Smith, the pastor who founded the Calvary Chapel movement and mentor to Pastor Greg Laurie.</p>
<p>Produced by Kingdom Story Company and Lionsgate, &#8220;Jesus Revolution&#8221; centers on Laurie, then a young man, who experienced a spiritual awakening under Smith&#8217;s guidance.</p>
<p>Roomie&#8217;s last theatrical release for episode 7 and 8 of &#8220;The Chosen&#8221; Season 3, recently scored an extended theatrical release following overwhelming response from fans over tickets.</p>
