<p>Fans of &#8220;The Chosen&#8221; crashed the Fathom Events movie ticket site after news broke about when and where they could watch the finale of Season 3 of the popular series that explores <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jesus-christ">Jesus</a> through the eyes and lives of those close to him.</p>
<p>During a &#8220;Chosen&#8221; livestream on Sunday, the creator and director of the fan-supported series, Dallas Jenkins, announced that the finale will debut in theaters on February 2 and 3 at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m in local markets, <a href="https://www.christianheadlines.com/contributors/michael-foust/chosen-fans-crash-movie-ticket-website-after-new-film-announced-releases-feb-2-3.html">Christian Headlines.com</a> reported on Monday.</p>
<p>&#8220;These are huge episodes,&#8221; Jenkins shared of the finale that will include Episodes 7 and 8 and the Feeding of the 5,000.</p>
<p>It was after that the demand for tickets was so large that the film&#8217;s distributor, Fathom Events, crashed. However, it is back up at the time of this publication.</p>
<p>&#8220;Episodes 7&amp;8 of Season Three are so big they demand to be on the big screen,&#8221; a message on the series&#8217; official <a href="https://www.facebook.com/InsideTheChosen">Facebook page</a> read.</p>
<p>&#8220;And apparently you demand it, too, as the rush for tickets initially crashed the Fathom Events website,&#8221; the message added. &#8220;But now you can get tickets there or your local listing for our big Season Finale Thursday, Feb 2 or Friday, Feb 3. As we explained in our big livestream (still viewable), we are still completing these episodes.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;However: Our plans for the streaming release will NOT be delayed by the theatrical. Episode 7 livestream will be Sunday, Feb 5 and Episode 8 livestream will be TUESDAY, Feb 7,&#8221; the message continued. &#8220;More to come!&#8221;</p>
<p>The director of the <a href="https://watch.angelstudios.com/thechosen">series</a> said there were several factors that lead to the decision to release the finale in theaters and one was because the scope of the story demands it, the outlet noted.</p>
<p>&#8220;Because of the success of the Christmas special last year, theaters are saying, &#8216;We want The Chosen in our theater,'&#8221; Jenkins shared. &#8220;&#8230; They&#8217;re saying, &#8216;Please release as many episodes as you can in theaters.'&#8221;</p>
<p>And as previously noted, the finale will include what the creator of the series has called &#8220;by far, the biggest thing we&#8217;ve ever done&#8221; regarding the filming for the Feeding of the 5,000.</p>
<p>The first two episodes of Season 3 premiered on the big screen with fans turning out, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/faith-based-series-the-chosen-hits-3-at-box-office">making it No. 3</a> at the box office opening weekend. It was later released for free to fans to watch on the show&#8217;s <a href="https://new.thechosen.tv">app</a> and stream with a message about paying it forward, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/costs-and-confusion-the-chosen-creator-explains-popularity-of-show-and-what-fans-can-expect-for-upcoming-season">reported</a>.</p>
