Hollywood star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/but-for-the-grace-of-god-actor-neal-mcdonough-on-playing-good-guys-and-his-new-apocalyptic-thriller-homestead">Neal McDonough</a> said “something’s changed” in the culture because he’s never seen Hollywood more interested in making faith-based movies than they are now.
During the 58-year-old actor’s appearance on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm5makEW6DI">BlazeTV’s “The Glenn Beck Program</a>,” the two were discussing whether the entertainment industry &#8220;can learn&#8221; and change its ways by making more stories about hope and faith, following the success of movies like “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dailywire-strikes-deal-with-angel-studios-for-sound-of-hope-get-showtimes-now">Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot</a>,” in partnership with The Daily Wire, and the series “The Chosen” in theaters.
“I was reading, they have the breakdown of all the studios of what they’re looking for … and never, ever, ever have I seen before, of the ten of them, 4 or 5 [studios] saying, ‘Oh by the way, if you have something of faith, we’re very interested this year,’” <a href="https://x.com/glennbeck/status/1869880394209996851">McDonough</a> told Beck.

“So, something’s changed,” he added. “Whether it’s Angel Studios … whether it’s the Kendricks, whomever it is who’s going out there and putting it on the limb telling stories of faith, so the whole family can go to the theater together, grab popcorn, grab a soda, hang back watch a movie for two hours &#8212; and then after have a discussion with your 8-year-old or your 80-year-old.&#8221;
The Hollywood veteran also opened up about his latest role in the apocalyptic movie “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/studio-behind-sound-of-freedom-ready-to-release-new-apocalyptic-film-tv-series-homestead">Homestead</a>,” harkening back to his faith ahead of the movie&#8217;s release in theaters on December 20.
McDonough landed the role of Ian Ross, an affluent homesteader in the thriller from Angel Studios. The actor famously plays villains on the big and small screen, most notably in the hit Paramount+ series “Yellowstone.” But in this thriller, he takes on the “good guy” role of Ross, who’s <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C5cJPBLLSjm/?igsh=MTBlZjE4YzMxOA%3D%3D&amp;img_index=2">described</a> as a “homesteader living in the Rockies who believes he’s prepared for every eventuality — that is until he comes face-to-face with the moral dilemmas presented by civil unrest at his own doorstop.”

“When Ian is torn between his wife’s faith and the brutal realities of survival, every decision comes with gut-wrenching consequences,” the description added.
“To me, Ian is all of us,” McDonough said in a post shared on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C5cJPBLLSjm/?igsh=MTBlZjE4YzMxOA%3D%3D&amp;img_index=3">Instagram</a> from the studio and actor. “Just a man trying to do right by his conscience-the commitments he’s made to his wife and family, to his God, and to his fellow man.”

Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs kicker <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/harrison-butker">Harrison Butker</a> dropped a new ad called “Protect Your Faith. Vote Trump” on Election Day, calling for Christians to “vote to keep God in America.”
&#8220;Christians! Head to the polls today,” Butker’s X post on Tuesday promoting the ad read. “Vote to keep God in America. Vote President Trump.”
The nearly two-minute long video from Butker’s Upright <a href="https://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article293946799.html">political action committee</a> warns that &#8220;faith is under attack&#8221; from &#8220;Kamala Harris and the radical Democrats.&#8221; 
“Kamala Harris has repeatedly rebuked Christians, undermining the values that built our great nation,” the ad said. “They say our beliefs don’t belong in public life. They [liberals] mock and dismiss those of us who find strength in faith.”

The ad then pointed out that things can change with Donald Trump as president, reminding viewers he &#8220;has stood up for religious freedom, the right to worship and the right to live our religious faith without fear.”

Earlier this month, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/harrison-butker">Butker</a><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/super-bowl-winning-kicker-endorses-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> announced</a> that he was throwing his support behind the former president. Speaking on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle,” Butker said he was endorsing &#8220;the most pro-life president &#8230; Donald Trump.&#8221; 
“The [pro-life] topic is the most crucial topic for me,” Butker said.
“I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize,” he added. “I think you have to vote for whoever is gonna be the most pro-life and we have to be prayerful men that put God first. I think that’s what’s going to be best for our country.”
The NFL <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kansas-city-has-separated-from-employee-who-doxxed-harrison-butker">kicker</a> made headlines earlier this year after he gave a commencement address at <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/colleges">Benedictine College</a>, a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/catholic">Catholic</a> university in Kansas, in which he praised his wife for being a “homemaker,” called out President Joe Biden’s support for abortion, and criticized Pride Month.

The ballots aren’t even counted, yet no amount of scripture citing or fake accents while playing preacher on the Sunday morning campaign stump can distract from what Kamala Harris has already promised — she’s no friend of the faithful.
Quite the contrary. In the final weeks of the campaign she’s reminding us, elect her and she’s coming for your religious liberty. Pastors and people in the pews, consider yourselves warned. 
At a recent Wisconsin rally, Kamala told two students who shouted “Jesus is Lord” they were at the <a href="https://cbn.com/news/politics/students-purportedly-center-kamala-harris-jesus-lord-controversy-speak-out-we-did" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrong rally</a>, before having them escorted out. She was so pleased with herself as she cackled at her off-the-cuff remark, painfully ignorant that we live in a country where <a href="https://news.gallup.com/poll/358364/religious-americans.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">68% of people</a> still consider themselves Christian.
Nobody laughed but her, and a weekend <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/harris-makes-pitch-black-churches-after-telling-protester-praising-jesus-youre-wrong-rally" target="_blank" rel="noopener">damage control tour</a> to black churches in Georgia quickly followed.
While her campaign has been short on details, in an interview with NBC’s Hallie Jackson she was crystal clear for possibly the first time, warning that she’ll handcuff religious freedom by <a href="https://www.nationalreview.com/news/harris-rejects-religious-exemptions-for-abortion/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">denying religious exemptions</a> for abortion. Thanks to her clarity we know doctors with deeply held convictions will be forced to perform the procedure even if it violates their faith and conscience.
None of this is new information. She has a long rap sheet of being <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/08/11/opinion/kamala-harris-and-her-long-history-of-faith-based-bigotry/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hostile to people of faith</a> and coming for religious freedom, dating back to her time as Attorney General of California.
As Senator, she challenged the nomination of Knights of Columbus (KOC) member Brian Buescher to the U.S. District Court for Nebraska because KOC adheres to traditional Catholic teaching. Apparently Catholicism is extreme.
She also supported the “Do No Harm Act,” which would have forced medical providers to perform abortions. Have a deeply held religious conviction? Too bad.
The Do No Harm Act would have done a lot of harm by also shutting the doors of charities like the “Little Sisters of the Poor” for refusing to violate their Catholic beliefs on issues like sexuality. Imagine telling nuns they can’t be Catholic with a bill that says you can’t discriminate. 
It doesn’t end there. She pushed the FACE Act as California Attorney General, which would have forced pregnancy centers to make abortion referrals to women. By their very nature most pregnancy centers are faith-based and provide numerous resources and support to both the mom and the baby throughout the pregnancy, as well as afterward.
Doesn’t matter. This is from the party that pretends to care about women.
As Attorney General she also joined her counterparts to go after Hobby Lobby and other faith-based employers in an attempt to force them to include abortion pills as part of their health benefits. Harris also supported the Equality Act, which would have forced religious institutions to hire people at odds with their beliefs — read “gender ideology.”
But, you say, what about that 30-year-old Religious Freedom Restoration Act that keeps government out of the business of Americans’ religious rights — the one even then Sen. Joe Biden supported? Throw it in the trash. This “Equality Act” would have provided zero equality for any faith-based institution.
Imagine if she aimed her hostile warrior powers at the out of control crime in our country instead of our constitutionally protected religious freedom.
George Barna, director of research at <a href="https://www.arizonachristian.edu/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/CRC-Release-Pre-Election-1-Oct-12-2024-Final.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Arizona Christian University’s</a> Cultural Research Center, conducted recent surveys that found 49% of self-described people of faith <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2024/10/20/3-biblical-reasons-conservative-christians-should-vote-this-election/?utm_source=TDS_Email&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=MorningBell" target="_blank" rel="noopener">likely won’t vote</a> in the upcoming election. Interestingly, the study also found that roughly 5 million of the unlikely voters would reverse course if their pastor encouraged them to vote.
What? Politicking from the pulpit? Hardly. Nobody is suggesting we turn our altars into campaign rallies.
Our secular nation has hijacked Christian values, rebranded them as political and then declared them off limits in our churches, and many pastors have dutifully — and a little too eagerly — complied. 
Today at the intersection of every major cultural issue driving political narratives lies the Bible, which had the first word on most of these hot button issues dating back more than 2,000 years. If your church doesn’t want to talk about culture and elections because they’re afraid to get political, ask them if they mind getting Biblical.

Another Barna study released last year found that out of the 68% of people in this country who identify as Christian, only 6% have a <a href="https://www.arizonachristian.edu/2023/02/28/biblical-worldview-among-u-s-adults-drops-33-since-start-of-covid-19-pandemic/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Biblical worldview</a>. That’s a shocking number. How will people in our churches ever understand what the Bible says about our culture unless our pastors tell them.
Few pastors get this better than Pastor Gary Hamrick of Cornerstone Chapel, a church of more than six thousand in Leesburg, VA, just west of Washington, DC. He actively takes on cultural issues through a Biblical lens, often hosting those at his church fighting for righteousness in our culture including Riley Gaines, Charlie Kirk and Kirk Cameron.
Every four years he preaches an election sermon to encourage his congregation to vote Biblical values. 
He’s not alone. Answering the question of how our country got to its current state, Pastor Rusty Guenther of First Baptist Church in Blowing Rock, NC, blamed the <a href="https://decisionmagazine.com/how-did-we-get-here/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">church’s willingness</a> to accept that politics is off limits. In reality, the Bible has a lot to say about politics.  
He’s right, it’s the world that’s turned politics into a four letter word within the walls of our churches. Open the Bible and you’ll see it addresses issues like biological sex, border security, the nation of Israel, religious liberty, parental rights, marriage and life.
Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer, Pastor Emeritus and former Senior Pastor of <a href="https://www.moodychurch.org/?utm_source=moody+church+media&amp;utm_medium=erwin+lutzer+bio&amp;utm_content=link" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Moody Church</a> in Chicago <a href="https://www.moodymedia.org/blog/2022/08/should-the-church-be-involved-in-politics-no-reason-to-hide-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">agrees</a>, saying “…If we&#8217;re going to be true to the scriptures, we have to talk about those issues which impinge on politics.”
Pastors have a responsibility to arm their congregations with a Biblical worldview on cultural issues. As Pastor Gary Hamrick said, “Good government cannot save us, but bad government can destroy us.” 
We know that, if elected, Kamala is coming for our religious freedom. She’s done it before and she’s already promising she’ll do it again.

During a <a href="https://x.com/FLVoiceNews/status/1851311195678036140">press conference</a> on Tuesday alongside Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Dungy said he takes the proposed Abortion amendment personally because he happens to believe that “these babies in the womb are lives.”
“And I know that everybody doesn’t believe that, but I happen to believe it,” Dungy said. &#8220;My Bible tells me that they are. And I know everybody doesn’t believe that but, for me, that’s what’s important.”
“My wife Lauren and I have eight adopted children in our home right now. And when I go home every day, and I look at those kids, I don&#8217;t see eight choices, I&#8217;m sorry,” he added, while getting very emotional. &#8220;Those are eight lives.&#8221;

Amendment 4 would massively increase abortions in the state, superseding Florida’s law protecting unborn babies with a heartbeat by establishing a “constitutional right to abortion before fetal viability.”

Last month, the former head coach of the Indianapolis Colts and outspoken Christian made headlines when he called out Vice President Kamala Harris over comments she’s made numerous times about how her “faith” allows for her support for abortion.
The Super Bowl-winning coach asked Harris about what she said during the ABC Presidential Debate with former President Donald Trump when she claimed that <a href="https://www.eewmagazineonline.com/latest-news/2024/9/20/tony-dungy-criticizes-vice-president-kamala-harris-over-abortion-and-faith">she could support abortion</a> without abandoning her “faith,” then wrote similarly on social media.
“One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree: The government, and certainly Donald Trump, should not be telling a woman what to do with her body,” Harris’ post <a href="https://x.com/KamalaHarris/status/1836834148062732700">read</a> on X.
In response, Dungy wrote, “Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion?”
“Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)?” he added. “Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general ‘faith’ that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions? What ‘faith’ are you talking about?”

Peter Vlaming lost his job teaching high school French because he could not refer to a transgender student according to the student’s preferred pronouns without violating his sincerely-held religious beliefs. Now, his lawsuit against the <a href="https://vacourts.gov/static/opinions/opnscvwp/1211061.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">West Point school board</a> is a prime example of why Americans must pay closer attention to religious freedom protections at the local and state level.
Thankfully, Napa Legal Institute’s 2nd inaugural <a href="https://www.napalegalinstitute.org/map" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“Faith and Freedom Index</a>” shows which states are lacking in religious freedom protections. It also provides a roadmap as to how state governments can strengthen these protections and best allow their citizens to flourish.
Vlaming represents countless Americans who have been unlawfully punished for exercising their First Amendment rights, and who remain fearful about the future of the nation – especially in an uncertain election year. From preferred pronouns, abortion, and transgenderism to burdensome tax regimes and regulations, there are countless ways that people of faith are essentially being told to renounce their beliefs or step away from the public sphere altogether.
Properly addressing these attacks goes far beyond federal elections and policies, however. Local and state governments often make the decisions that have the most direct consequences on American’s daily lives, from zoning and land use regulations to tax laws. And local institutions – churches, schools, charities – often make a greater impact on the lives of ordinary Americans than the White House and Congress.
This means that those seeking to protect religious Americans from discrimination must focus more of their time and attention on the laws that help local institutions thrive, particularly the faith-based nonprofit organizations that do so much to benefit society.
This is why this week, the <a href="https://www.napalegalinstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Napa Legal Institute</a> released the second annual <a href="https://www.napalegalinstitute.org/map">Faith and Freedom Index,</a> an unprecedented state law analysis. The Index looks at 14 types of state laws – from religious freedom restoration acts and employment laws to charitable registration laws and tax exemptions – and ranks all 50 states (plus Washington, D.C.) on their friendliness (or lack of friendliness) towards faith-based nonprofits.
There are some results that are not surprising: Alabama and Indiana receive the highest overall scores in the country; Kansas, Texas, and Mississippi round out the top 5. But there are other results that do not quite fit the political narrative. Red states like South Dakota and West Virginia score in the bottom 10 for overall scores, while Oregon and California are both in the top 10 for regulatory freedom for faith-based nonprofits. The results do not fall on purely partisan lines.
Some laws have changed for the better since Napa Legal first released the Index in June 2023. For example, several states (including Nebraska, Iowa, and Utah) have passed religious freedom restoration acts. These crucial laws, which are now in place in 28 states, protect the free exercise of religion against intrusions by “neutral” laws that may not directly target religion but that can seriously affect religious exercise in practice.
Additionally, a major development took place in Virginia in December 2023, when the Virginia Supreme Court decided the <a href="https://vacourts.gov/static/opinions/opnscvwp/1211061.pdf">Vlaming</a> case. Vlaming’s case ultimately clarified that, under the Virginia Constitution, the free exercise of religion receives much stronger protection than the minimum required by the First Amendment.
The Vlaming decision is an encouraging reminder that states have the ability to strengthen religious freedom protections and better support the work of faith-based nonprofits. Yet while it is encouraging to be able to highlight positive changes in state law, the fact that no state in the nation scores above a 72% on the Napa Legal Faith and Freedom Index means there is much more work to be done, even in states friendly to religion and to faith-based nonprofits.

State legislatures can do much to allow faith-based nonprofits to flourish within their states. They can create just employment and public accommodation laws that respect the beliefs and work of faith-based nonprofits. They can ensure that state of emergency laws do not violate the freedom of worship and religious exercise. They can enact corporate governance laws that respect the internal autonomy of religious organizations.
And they can pass charitable registration laws and tax laws with proper exemptions for religious organizations, so that these nonprofits that do so much good for society can be free from unnecessary taxes, fees, paperwork, and administrative burdens that prevent them from accomplishing their missions.
Local institutions in general and faith-based nonprofits in particular are a foundational part of a healthy society. While these institutions are formed privately by citizens of good will, the government plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the laws help rather than hinder the work of faith-based nonprofits.
By reviewing the Faith and Freedom Index, passing laws that respect religious freedom, and eliminating burdensome regulations, state governments can do their part to achieve the common good and help our society to flourish.
No American should be forced to lose his job because of his religious beliefs like Peter Vlaming did. Through a better understanding of where state religious freedom protections are lacking and the ways to address them, the Napa Legal Institute hopes to create an America where no one is prevented from or punished for living his faith.

Daily Wire host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/michael-j-knowles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michael Knowles</a> sat down with actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kirk-cameron" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kirk Cameron</a> to play a game of “<a href="https://store.dailywire.com/products/yes-or-no?srsltid=AfmBOopxqvV4zmp2WUeDOGXX74ZoQdXfh0dfwV72ACpq8F6ukgVhUmgS">YES or NO</a>,” touching on a host of controversial issues including problems with public schools, the Left’s attacks on men, and more.
Knowles and the 54-year-old conservative actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/kirk-cameron">traded questions</a> in the game, wherein opponents win points by accurately guessing which way their opponent will lean on topics ranging from politics and religion to pop culture and more.
Cameron and Knowles agreed that “it’s more of a risk to send your teenager to public school than it is to buy them a motorcycle,” prompting a discussion on how American public education has become “religious” in the way that it drills students in left-wing ideologies.
Knowles pointed to a recent CDC study that came out saying, “1 in 30 American high school students today identify as transgender. One-in-eighteen is gender questioning…to subject your kid to that you are 1-in-18 chance, you are really rolling the dice with your kid’s life.”

The “Growing Pains” star talked about how he and his wife chose to homeschool their six kids, calling public schools today “far too religious.”
“At the end of the day, public schools have become so unsafe for your children, in my opinion,” Cameron explained. “And the value of the sacrifice they demand from you to their priests and their elders is just not even…and I think that they’ve created their own worship, called ‘secular humanism.’”
“Which has become the church of secular culture,” he added. “And it’s the worship of corporate man or human beings and they have their own twisted Ten Commandments, LGBTQIADEI. And if you don’t fall in line with that dogma, that is grounds for banishment from their society.”
Knowles agreed, labeling it effectively a “conversion therapy” to their religion.
“Ironically, they say they hate conversion therapy,” the DW host said. “But it&#8217;s conversion therapy to their false religion.”
Later, Cameron posed a question to Knowles asking whether “the media’s war on masculinity is really an attack on Biblical manhood.” Both agreed yes, with the Daily Wire host suggesting it is also an attack on the natural things about being a man, what he called “the Christian understanding” of manhood and fatherhood.
Cameron agreed, adding that “much of the media wants to depict men as defective women.”
“And I think that is because there is inherent value to being masculine that is very scary to the Left,” the Hollywood star said. “Men who so love their wives, children, their God and their family and their future that they are willing to defend it with their own lives. That’s something that stands in the way of consolidating power in the government and advancing Marxism …”

Chiefs Kicker <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/harrison-butker">Harrison Butker</a> said for the first time in his life, he has decided to endorse a political candidate, Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley.
The Kansas City NFL star will appear at three different stops with Hawley on Thursday after the senator sent out <a href="https://x.com/HawleyMO/status/1843685964033732935">emails to supporters</a> about the endorsement of the Super Bowl-winning star, the <a href="https://amp.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article293715029.html">Kansas City</a> star reported.
“This is Harrison Butker-you may know me as a three-time World Champion kicker, but that’s just my day job,” Butker said in the fundraising email shared by Hawley. “At my core I am a husband, a father, and most importantly a Christian who cares about the future of our nation.&#8221;
“I want to tell you about my friend Josh Hawley,” he added. “In a time when our nation is at a crossroads, Senator Hawley stands strong for many of the values that matter most to me and my family.”
“He’s not just a Senator; he’s a devout Christian, a family man, and a fighter for so much we hold dear,” the message continued. “Josh Hawley is relentless in defending religious rights, fighting for the Constitution, and standing up for the most vulnerable among us—the unborn.”

The Chiefs star said Hawley’s “commitment to the pro-life movement” is one reason he’s supporting him because he’s “the kind of leader who doesn’t back down when it matters most.”

Butker’s letter concluded with the message that he’s endorsing Hawley to “represent all of us and keep the fight for our faith, family, and freedom alive” as he called on others to join him and donate money, if they could, to help Hawley beat his opponent, Democrat Lucas Kunce.
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kansas-city-has-separated-from-employee-who-doxxed-harrison-butker">Chiefs kicker</a> made headlines earlier this year after he gave a commencement address at <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/colleges">Benedictine College</a>, a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/catholic">Catholic</a> university in Kansas, in which he praised his wife for being a “homemaker,” called out President Joe Biden’s support for abortion, and criticized LGBT “Pride month.”
In the speech to the Catholic college on May 11, Butker said, “How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world. But I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”
“It cannot be overstated that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker,” he added.

In a post on Wednesday on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DAoQ3MHypMX/?igsh=MWQ1ZGUxMzBkMA%3D%3D&amp;img_index=2">Instagram</a>, the 48-year-old actress wrote, “THE WORD IS OUT! The Great American Christmas Festival is coming this holiday season in New York City! The biggest Christmas festival in the country.”
“Sign up at www.greatamericanfamilychristmasfestival.com for pre-sale access to tickets tomorrow, October 3rd!!” she added. “But if for some reason you miss the pre-sale, tickets OFFICIALLY go on sale Friday, October 4th!  #GreatAmericanChristmasFest.”
Bure’s post included a screenshot of all the stars who will be appearing at the festival besides herself, along with Mario Lopez, Danica McKellar, Cameron Mathison, and others who have appeared on GAF’s Christmas programming.

It will be held at Northwell Park at UBS Arena in Belmont Park, every weekend between November 22 and December 29, <a href="https://people.com/great-american-family-christmas-festival-exclusive-8721832">People magazine</a> reported.
The weekend events include photo ops, as well as Q&amp;As after the world premiere screenings of their films, the outlet noted. The festival will also include ice skating, nightly tree-lighting ceremonies, holiday crafting classes, and photos with Santa Claus.

“Saved By The Bell” star Mario Lopez also appears to have landed at GAF and will be at the festival the weekend of December 14 and 15 for the premiere of his movie with wife Courtney Lopez, “Once Upon a Christmas Wish.”
Earlier this year, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/candace-cameron-bure">Bure</a> made headlines when she announced she will be appearing in not one, but two upcoming Christmas movies as part of the Great American Family Christmas 2024.

Speaking to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/video/6362559736112">Fox News</a>, the 49-year-old actress said she used to spend time “worrying and stressing” about “how to make decisions” and “what to do next&#8221; during the hard times, but not after she found God 2 ½ years ago.
“Faith guides everything, including parenting,” McKellar said. “For me, my faith journey has led me to the most comforting place of knowing that I can consult with God at any time.”
“This is so comforting to me to have this other guiding force in my life,” she added of reading the Bible. “When Bible scripture is mentioned in church, I know what it is now.”

Earlier this year, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/danica-mckellar-credits-candace-cameron-bure-for-her-conversion-to-christianity-she-brought-me-to-church?ref=mc.news">&#8220;Crown For Christmas&#8221;</a> star opened up about the transformation she’s seen in her life after finding faith — following an invitation to attend to church more than two years ago from “Full House” actress <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/candace-cameron-bure">Candace Cameron Bure</a>.
During an interview with <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/danica-mckellar-wishes-world-would-be-open-gods-love-two-years-after-finding-faith">Fox News</a> about the importance of Easter week, McKellar said, at the time, it “marks two years of becoming a believer” after “Bure brought me into her church on Palm Sunday, and we saw the passion play there at Shepherd Church.”
“It changed my life,” she added. “I don’t know what happened. Some people say the Holy Spirit came to me. All I know is that I knew I became a believer, and it was the most wonderful, transformative moment.”
“I was flooded with this knowingness, and I have such peace from that still after two years, and I’m so grateful for it,” McKellar continued, noting how the Easter season is full of “redemption and rebirth. And I feel that.”
McKellar and her ex-husband composer Mike Verta welcomed a son, Draco, in 2010. In 2013, the couple divorced and a year later she married attorney Scott Sveslosky, <a href="https://people.com/all-about-danica-mckellar-son-draco-8642518" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People magazine</a> noted.

Kansas City Chiefs star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/harrison-butker">Harrison Butker’s</a> NFL gear sales for the first time ever beat out fellow teammate Travis Kelce’s despite a backlash against the kicker over his commencement speech.
In a <a href="https://nflpa.com/partners/posts/things-to-know-about-the-season-kickoff-nflpa-top-50-player-sales-list" target="_blank" rel="noopener">list</a> from the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) of the top 50 players with the highest sales of official NFL-licensed merchandise, Butker not only made his debut in the rankings for the first time, but also bested Kelce at 12th place by coming in at 11.
Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes&#8217; NFL gear sales beat out both Kelce and Butker’s, coming in second place, behind only Houston Texans C.J. Stroud, who nabbed the top spot, the outlet noted.
The list was compiled of official NFL merchandise sales between March 1 and May 31, weeks after Butker made headlines for the commencement address he gave at <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/colleges">Benedictine College</a>, a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/catholic">Catholic</a> university in Kansas, in which he praised his wife for being a “homemaker,” called out President Joe Biden’s support for abortion, and criticized LGBT “Pride month.”

In the speech to the Catholic college on May 11, Butker said, “How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world. But I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

Chiefs’ Harrison Butker’s NFL Gear Sales Beat Kelce’s Despite Backlash Over Commencement Speech

Former NFL head coach <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tony-dungy-sends-pro-life-message-and-he-wont-amanda-prestigiacomo">Tony Dungy</a> called out Vice President Kamala Harris over comments she’s made numerous times about how her “faith” allows for her support for abortion.
In a post on Thursday on X, the Super Bowl-winning coach of the Indianapolis Colts asked Harris about what she said during the ABC Presidential Debate with former President Donald Trump when she claimed that <a href="https://www.eewmagazineonline.com/latest-news/2024/9/20/tony-dungy-criticizes-vice-president-kamala-harris-over-abortion-and-faith">she could support abortion</a> without abandoning her “faith,” then wrote similarly on social media.
“One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree: The government, and certainly Donald Trump, should not be telling a woman what to do with her body,” Harris’ post <a href="https://x.com/KamalaHarris/status/1836834148062732700">read</a> on X.
In response, Dungy wrote, “Dear VP Harris: I hear you make this statement all the time. Exactly what ‘faith’ are you talking about when you say you don’t have to abandon it to support abortion?”

“Are you talking about the Christian faith that says all babies are made in the image of God (Gen 1:26), that God places them in the womb (Jer 1:5) and that we should not take any life unjustly (Luke 18:20)?” he added. “Are you talking about that faith or some nebulous, general ‘faith’ that says we’re good enough, and smart enough to make our own decisions?  What ‘faith’ are you talking about?”
Dungy also shared a post from former NFL tight end Benjamin <a href="https://x.com/BenjaminSWatson/status/1836837938363256897">Watson</a>, who blasted Harris for her post claiming that a young mom was dead because of Georgia’s pro-life laws, when in reality, the woman’s “tragic death was caused by complications from legal abortion drugs and gross medical malpractice,&#8221; <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/sports/nfl-hall-fame-coach-tony-dungy-questions-kamala-harris-faith-based-tweet-about-abortion-rights">Watson wrote</a>.

&#8220;She should have been treated immediately by physicians who instead waited too long to act,” he added. “Georgia’s pro-life law is not the issue. It does not criminalize doing a D&amp;C, especially when there is no detectable fetal heart rate.”
&#8220;Amber should be alive, and [Harris] should focus her attention on these facts so we can prevent the next tragedy rather than promoting politically motivated falsehoods,” Watson continued.
In the VP’s original post, she claimed the Georgia woman &#8220;should be alive today, raising her son and pursuing her dream of attending nursing school.
