Pop star Olivia Rodrigo pushed a pro-abortion message at her Missouri concert this week, handing out free emergency contraceptives and condoms to attendees.

Fans at her March 12 show in St. Louis were offered a package that included two boxes of Julie, a pill similar to Plan B, and cards with QR codes linking to abortion access resources and the Missouri Abortion Fund. Fans shared photos of free condoms and promotional stickers that were also being passed out at the show.

The 21-year-old singer had previously announced her “Fund 4 Good” initiative, per Variety, which she said, “works to support all women, girls and people seeking reproductive health freedom.” Rodrigo promised to donate a portion of all ticket sales for her “Guts” tour to Fund 4 Good and also said she had partnered with the National Network of Abortion Funds.

“Supporting abortion funds has never been more critical, in an era where abortion access is under relentless attack,” NNAF executive director Oriaku Njoku told USA TODAY in a statement. “We are excited to be in partnership with Olivia Rodrigo, as she’s uplifting the critical work of abortion funds, and leading (her fans) into the movement towards reproductive freedom!”

The Missouri Abortion Fund shared their thoughts on Rodrigo passing out emergency contraception. “It’s brutal out here in Missouri, but we are here for abortion access and hand out Plan B with @TextRightByYou,” they posted on X in response to a photo of the pills.

Variety also shared a statement from the brand Julie which said, “We launched Julie to rewrite the morning-after experience for a new generation. Replacing the stigma and shame often associated with emergency contraception with access, exploration, and education is core to who we are, and we’re thankful for artists like Olivia Rodrigo and initiatives like the Missouri Abortion Fund who share our mission. Through Julie for All, for every morning after-pill purchased, we donate one to someone in need. We’re proud to have donated over 1M units to 300+ partners nationwide.”

The “Good 4 U” singer previously said she was “heartbroken” over the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.

“I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to talk about how heartbroken I am over the Supreme Court’s potential decision,” Rodrigo said in a video posted to X after the Supreme Court draft opinion was leaked in 2022. “What a woman does with her body should never be in the hands of politicians, and I hope we can use our voices to protect the right to have a safe abortion, which is a right that so many people before us have worked so hard to get.”
