Singer Sabrina Carpenter is not happy that her song “Juno” is being used by the Trump administration in a video highlighting illegal immigrants being deported. 
“This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda,” the pop star wrote on X.
The video in question, which was posted by the official White House X account yesterday, includes clips of ICE agents detaining various people. “Have you ever tried this one? Bye-bye,” the post caption says, referencing the lyrics to the song.

Not long after Carpenter&#8217;s meltdown, the White House clapped back, doubling down on the original sentiment. “Here&#8217;s a Short n’ Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won&#8217;t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country,” the reply <a href="https://ew.com/white-house-responds-sabrina-carpenter-calling-out-juno-video-11860422">said</a>.  &#8220;Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?&#8221; the response went on, referring to another one of the singer&#8217;s hit songs.
The Trump administration has been using popular songs and lyrics for social media and other promos, and only some of the celebrities have taken public issue with it. Kenny Loggins, on the other hand, threw an absolute fit in October when the Trump administration promoted material by using his 1986 single “Danger Zone,” calling it “unauthorized use” and insisting it be “removed immediately.”
Carpenter is well-known for pushing a progressive agenda to her fans. She made her values clear in September during a trans-themed performance at the VMAs featuring drag stars holding picket signs. Fans <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sabrina-carpenter-dragged-for-trans-rights-themed-vmas-performance?author=Amanda+Harding&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Sabrina+Carpenter+Dragged+For+%E2%80%98Trans+Rights%E2%80%99+Themed+VMAs+Performance">came down hard</a> on Carpenter for the timing of the performance as it was just after a trans-identified shooter opened fire on a Catholic school in Minnesota, killing two children and injuring thirty other individuals.
Last November, the pop singer was criticized for filming a provocative music video inside a Catholic church, which many critics said was disrespectful and blasphemous.
The Trump administration has taken a strong stance on immigration, with ICE agents doing sweeps of major cities to arrest and deport illegal aliens. This has led to extreme pushback from Democrats and commentary from outspoken leftist celebrities.

Country artist Kelsea Ballerini has struck a chord with “I Sit In Parks,” a song about yearning for motherhood after being told that chasing career success would deliver deep and lasting happiness.
“I Sit in Parks” feels less like a song and more like a mirror held up to an entire generation of women who were told they could have it all if they chased achievement first and dealt with the marriage and family stuff later. It gives voice to the quiet grief of realizing the consequences of that choice.
And while Ballerini hasn’t said the song was autobiographical, that’s how many fans are seeing it.
Her lyrics begin with the image that many women know well but rarely speak about:
“I sit in parks, it breaks my heart, ’cause I see / Just how far I am from the things that I want / Dad brought the picnic, Mom brought the sunscreen / Two kids are laughing and crying on red swings.”
These lyrics aren’t about envy of another woman’s designer clothes or corner office. They speak of a deep, vulnerable ache for motherhood and family life.
“We look about the same age / But we don&#8217;t have the same Saturdays,” the song goes on. “Did I miss it?/ By now, is it/ A lucid dream? Is it my fault/ For chasing things a body clock/ Doesn&#8217;t wait for? I did the damn tour/ It&#8217;s what I wanted, what I got/ I spun around and then I stopped/ And wonder if I missed the mark.”

Ballerini’s frank admissions have emboldened women to weigh in on social media.
“Wow. The picture painted by Kelsea Ballerini in this song is tragic. How many hearts has feminism broken with its lies?” one person <a href="https://x.com/biblicalbeauty/status/1986955863370715335?s=43">observed</a>.
“This is grim,” another commenter <a href="https://x.com/IndieLauraSDG/status/1987218755211104468">said</a> of the song. “I feel so sad for the girls who got duped into putting off the most important things in life.”
“My gosh, this is one of the saddest things I’ve ever read. I’m 45 with a 15 month old, so this almost became my reality. An entire generation of women has been sold a bill of goods under false pretenses,” a third commenter <a href="https://x.com/Babelfish80/status/1987157480879604153">replied</a>.
“As a single girl in her thirties, I’ve never related to a song more,” a popular comment on the YouTube music video for the song says. 
“I wasn’t prepared for this. As a single girl at 39 this song hits so deep,” another person wrote.
Predictably, there were plenty who shot back, saying they were perfectly content in their choice not to have kids. But the marvel of Ballerini’s song isn’t just the message, but also that it’s coming from a mainstream artist.
It’s telling that at the same time this single started gaining traction, the radical pro-abortion Center for Reproductive Rights began circulating an <a href="https://x.com/ReproRights/status/1986939347250143385">old interview</a> with singer Stevie Nicks discussing how her abortion in the 1970s &#8220;allowed her to continue her career at the height of Fleetwood Mac.&#8221;
Nicks described her unexpected pregnancy as a “nightmare scenario” that would have “destroyed” the band. During that interview, she spent no time reflecting on how her life would have unfolded if she hadn’t decided to sacrifice her child on the altar of fame. It’s a much more common outlook that other celebrities have spoken of, while Ballerini’s wistful reflection on what could have been is almost never heard.
“So, I sit in parks, sunglasses dark, and I/ Hit the vape, hallucinate a nursery with Noah&#8217;s Ark/ They lay on a blanket, and God d*** it, he loves her/ I wonder if she wants my freedom, like I wanna be a mother/ But Rolling Stones says I&#8217;m on the right road/ So I refill my Lexapro, thinking…” she sings. 
Interestingly, Ballerini was married young and got divorced within five years because her husband, Morgan Evans, wanted to have children right away while she preferred to freeze her eggs and delay becoming a mom, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kelsea-ballerini-claims-her-marriage-ended-when-morgan-evans-wanted-kids-while-she-pursued-egg-freezing-route">reported</a>.
“That was something that we had talked about early on, and that was something that I was changing on,” the singer said during a 2023 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. &#8220;Cause he was ready. He was like, ‘I don’t want to be an old dad,’ is what he kept saying. And I was like, ‘I’m not there yet, and I can’t do that to save this and give you something that I’m not ready for.&#8217;”
Ballerini said she “wasn’t ready for kids” and decided to visit a doctor to discuss egg freezing, which she planned to do before turning 30. She didn’t discuss the appointment with Evans until later.
“It was not a good day,” Ballerini said of telling her husband about her plan. “And I think that was when I was like, there’s a fundamental difference here that has happened, that has shifted. And it’s no longer like, I don’t see this person, I miss this person, I’m alone, I’m lonely. It’s like, he wants something out of life … [and] I’m not there.”
The “Half of My Hometown” singer said she filed for divorce not long after that conversation in August 2022. 
There’s a chance Ballerini wrote the song to make money, knowing it would make headlines and she could capitalize on the buzz it would generate. There’s a chance she doesn’t regret her decision to chase a career rather than becoming a mom sooner.
But either way, based on the reactions and comments, there is a group of women who feel duped by the subtle yet relentless messaging to build their careers and identities first and worry about marriage and family later… or never.
In practice, biology never agreed to that timeline. These women were told that motherhood was a detour from fulfillment, not part of it, and that it was equally if not more noble to collect passport stamps. 
They were told motherhood was a cage. That freedom was the goal. Yet in this song, the woman with all the freedom and fame is also the one with a broken heart.

For the first time in history, the number one country song in the digital sales <a href="https://www.billboard.com/charts/country-digital-song-sales/">category</a> on the Billboard charts is AI-generated.
“Walk My Walk” by Breaking Rust currently holds that honor despite not being attached to any human artist. There’s not much information available about the “musician” beyond an artist’s bio on Linktree that says, “Music for the fighters and the dreamers.”

Breaking Rust has more than 39,000 followers on Instagram. The <a href="https://www.instagram.com/breakinrust/?hl=en">profile</a> includes videos and stills of a man in a cowboy hat standing in the rain.
News of the song topping the Billboard chart got mixed reactions on social media.
“80% of songs are auto-tuned, single-beat, 2-minute tracks. No sympathy there. But for the remaining 20% of artists who can actually sing, challenge, and surprise listeners? This is tragic,” one person <a href="https://x.com/paraclete06/status/1988295441612750968">wrote</a> in response to the news. 
“I have a feeling that Spotify might be PRO AI as they won’t have to pay royalties or any other fees in case the music is AI generated,” another <a href="https://x.com/hrishikesshhhh/status/1988550471074668883">observed</a>. “But it’s bad for listeners. Bad for artists.”
“A lot of people like AI music, and I don&#8217;t think any amount of shaming is gonna change that,” a third <a href="https://x.com/LegionOThought/status/1988299847678783533">argued</a>. “Just ask the vegans.”
The debate over using AI in creative endeavors has been raging for years and is back in the spotlight as it becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish between AI-generated content and human-generated content.
The media labor union SAG-AFTRA recently spoke out against a 100% AI-generated “actress” being touted by its creators as “the next Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman.”
The “synthetic performer,” which goes by the name Tilly Norwood, was concocted by the U.K.-based production studio Particle6.
Tilly Norwood’s creator, Eline Van der Velden, argued that the AI-generated character “is not a replacement for a human being, but a creative work — a piece of art.”
“I see AI not as a replacement for people, but as a new tool, a new paintbrush,” Van der Velden said, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hollywood-actors-union-slams-ai-synthetic-performer-pitched-as-the-next-scarlett-johansson">reported</a>. “Just as animation, puppetry, or CGI opened fresh possibilities without taking away from live acting, AI offers another way to imagine and build stories. Charlotte Jones, daughter of Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and current executive vice president and chief brand officer for the team, just weighed in on the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show controversy.
The Cowboys exec praised the decision to showcase the Puerto Rican artist, saying, “Our whole society is based on immigrants.”
However, Bad Bunny is not an immigrant. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, a U.S territory, he is a U.S. citizen by birth.
“I think it’s awesome, and I think our Latina fan base is amazing. And I think when you think about the Super Bowl, you want the No. 1 performer in the world to be there,” Jones said during an appearance on “The Katie Miller Podcast.”
She added, “We’re on a global stage and we can’t ever forget that. Our game goes out to everybody around the world, and to get the premier entertainer to want to be a part of our game, I think, is amazing… We have a mixed culture. Our whole society is based on immigrants that came here and founded our country. I think we can celebrate that. I think the show’s going to be amazing.”

The artist’s selection, made in conjunction with Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation, was controversial because of his past anti-ICE statements, including his refusal to schedule any tour stops in the United States due to alleged fears that his fans might be taken into ICE custody at his shows. Miller pressed, asking whether Jones thought it was a political statement, given Bad Bunny’s negative comments about ICE agents.
“I don’t think our game’s about politics,” Jones insisted. “I don’t think people tune in to look at politics. We do everything we can to avoid politics. And I think in that moment, people will be watching the game, they’ll be celebrating music, and nobody will be thinking about what comments on the left side, what comments on the right side. That this is about bringing people together.”
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed last month that there are no plans to replace Bad Bunny as the halftime performer despite the mounting backlash.
“It’s carefully thought through,” Goodell said of the performance, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nfl-commish-gives-update-on-bad-bunny-super-bowl-halftime-show-amid-backlash">reported</a>. “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. It’s pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.”
“We’re confident it’s going to be a great show,” the commissioner added. “He’s one of the leading and most popular entertainers in the world. That’s what we try to achieve. It’s an important stage for us. It’s an important element to the entertainment value.”
Bad Bunny has called ICE agents “motherf***ers” and “sons of bitches.” He also angered many NFL fans after addressing the backlash that none of his songs were in English, advising them to learn Spanish if they didn’t like it.

For the first time in thirty-five years, there are no rap songs listed among the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart, representing the most popular singles in America.
This occurred after the track “Luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA dropped out of the top 40 following a 13-week run at number one.
Currently, the highest-ranking songs in the rap genre are “Shot Callin” by YoungBoy Never Broke Again at number 44, “Safe” by Cardi B at 48, and “Hell at Night” by BigXthaPlug at 49.
The last time there were no rap songs in the Billboard Top 40 was in February 1990, according to <a href="https://www.billboard.com/music/rb-hip-hop/no-rap-songs-hot-100-top-40-first-time-since-1990-1236100625/">Billboard</a>.
Part of the reason for the change is new rules that say descending songs are “recurrent” and removed from the chart if they have appeared for certain durations on the chart while falling below prescribed thresholds. That’s what happened to “Luther,” which dropped to number 38 after being on the chart for 46 weeks. 
Currently, the top song is Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia,” which has been on the chart since its release three weeks ago. Out of the top 40, twelve of the songs are from the pop star’s “The Life of a Showgirl” album. 
Other top ten songs include “Golden,” featured in the hit Netflix series “KPop Demon Hunters,” and the single “Ordinary” by Alex Warren, along with “Daisies” by Justin Bieber and Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need.”
Billboard noted that many rap artists are in an “in-between” period, with fans eagerly awaiting Drake’s upcoming “Iceman” album and with his rival Kendrick Lamar being “somewhat dormant” after years in the spotlight. But <a href="https://www.sfchronicle.com/entertainment/article/no-rap-songs-billboard-21129466.php">per</a> The San Francisco Chronicle, the market share for hip-hop music was almost 30% in 2020 but slipped to 24% this year. Five years ago, there were 16 rap songs in the top 40, while two years ago, that number decreased to 8 songs.

This week, NFL fans launched a petition to have an alternate Super Bowl halftime show featuring country singer George Strait. 66,000 signatures so far. Roger Goodell, however, is not moved. It&#8217;s all in response to the NFL tapping Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny for America’s largest stage, giving a platform to a man who openly hates America. 
But not all Puerto Ricans share Bad Bunny&#8217;s sentiment. Samuel Rodriguez is a pastor of Puerto Rican descent who has advised three U.S. Presidents, been a prolific author and movie producer, and has a much different outlook on the United States. In fact, he says the rapper doesn&#8217;t come close to representing traditional Hispanic values. It&#8217;s certainly worth your time. —The Daily Wire

As an American of Puerto Rican descent, I live in tension. I admire Bad Bunny. He is a generational talent, creative, charismatic, and relentless. He rose from the barrios of Vega Baja to the summit of global culture. He did not inherit wealth or privilege. He succeeded through determination, resilience, and hard work. Even those who do not understand his lyrics recognize his artistry and marketing brilliance. He has become a global symbol of Latino influence.
My admiration, however, stops there. As the world prepares to watch his Super Bowl halftime show next February, my heart aches. For all his brilliance, Bad Bunny misunderstands both Puerto Rico and America. His refusal to stand for “God Bless America” during the Major League Baseball playoffs at Yankee Stadium was not an act of protest, it was a moment of detachment. Millions of us who cherish both the island and the mainland felt that sting. We love America; We appreciate its Christian foundation, promise, and opportunity. Simply stated, we believe God has blessed this nation.
Unfortunately, much of what Bad Bunny stands for and espouses in his music not only fails to resonate with many Hispanics in America, but it also fails to honor and understand the community’s deep love for this country.

I will be the first to acknowledge that America is not perfect. But despite that, it remains blessed. This nation is not anti-immigrant. It supports legal immigration.
Hispanics know this better than anyone. Many of us lived that journey or watched our parents walk it. We support borders and order not out of cruelty but out of conviction. We believe in compassion expressed through law. <a href="https://www.axios.com/2025/06/26/trump-harris-latino-voters-2024-election-pew" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.axios.com/2025/06/26/trump-harris-latino-voters-2024-election-pew&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1761311002633000&amp;usg=AOvVaw197pP1ngxt9G7_phoNF8Bb">Nearly half of Hispanic voters supported President Trump in 2024</a>. More than half of Hispanic men did the same. That was not betrayal. It reflected deeply held values.
These traditional Hispanic values — faith, family, and freedom — stand in contrast to much of what Bad Bunny promotes. His embrace of transgender ideology and sexually explicit performances does not represent the Latino family gathered around the table after Sunday church. We love God. We honor family. We understand freedom as responsibility, not rebellion. The Latino vote has not drifted to the Right, it has returned home to convictions that have always defined us.
Hispanics also see dissonance in Bad Bunny’s condemnation of capitalism, given that he lives from its blessings. He has praised socialist regimes such as Venezuela, yet his success story could not exist without the free market. He thrives in a system that rewards risk, creativity, and persistence. One cannot criticize capitalism while enjoying everything it provides.
The Hispanic future in America is not secular, cynical, or socialist. It is spiritual, hopeful, and devoted to freedom. We pray. We protect our families. We work hard. We still believe that God blesses nations that honor Him.
But before all of this, Bad Bunny must recognize one fundamental truth: He is an American. Every Puerto Rican is. We are born citizens of the United States. We do not need a passport to enter this nation, but we do need humility to understand what a privilege that is.
Bad Bunny may not need a passport, but he needs perspective. He needs humility. He needs clarity about what America truly represents for Puerto Ricans and for every dreamer who still believes this country offers the chance to rise.
America is not flawless. Yet it remains the most transformative and opportunity-rich nation in human history. My prayer is that when Bad Bunny steps onto that stage, gratitude will replace defiance — gratitude for a nation that gave a kid from Puerto Rico the chance to conquer the world.

Goodell made his first statement on the matter as backlash against the Puerto Rican performer, who only performs songs in Spanish and has expressed anti-ICE sentiments, has grown in recent weeks. A <a href="https://ew.com/petition-replace-bad-bunny-with-george-strait-super-bowl-halftime-show-passes-50000-signatures-11833542">petition</a> to replace Bad Bunny (real name Benito Ocasio) with country performer George Strait earned more than 50,000 signatures.
“It’s carefully thought through,” Goodell said of the performance, per <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/bad-bunnys-super-bowl-halftime-show-reconsidered-nfl-126764247">ABC News</a>. “I’m not sure we’ve ever selected an artist where we didn’t have some blowback or criticism. It’s pretty hard to do when you have literally hundreds of millions of people that are watching.”
“We’re confident it’s going to be a great show,” the commissioner added. “[Ocasio] understands the platform that he’s on, and I think it’s going to be exciting and a united moment.”
“He’s one of the leading and most popular entertainers in the world,” Goodell said of Bad Bunny’s global appeal. “That’s what we try to achieve. It’s an important stage for us. It’s an important element to the entertainment value.&#8221;
The artist’s selection, which was made in conjunction with Jay-Z’s company Roc Nation, was controversial because of his past anti-ICE statements, including his refusal to schedule any tour stops in the United States due to alleged fears about his fans being taken into ICE custody at his shows.
“…There was the issue of — like, f***ing ICE could be outside (my concert). And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about,” Bad Bunny said, referring to ICE agents as “motherf***ers” and “sons of bitches.”
Ocasio also addressed the backlash he and the NFL received about none of his songs being English, advising viewers to learn Spanish if they didn’t like it.

The music world is still coming to terms with the loss of Paul Daniel “Ace” Frehley, a founding member of the heavy metal band KISS.
The lead guitarist was 74 when he died on Thursday from injuries sustained from a recent fall. His family said in a statement at the time, “We are completely devastated and heartbroken. In his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth.”
It went on, “We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Ace’s memory will continue to live on forever!”
Now Frehley’s bandmates are weighing in with their tributes.
“We are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley,&#8221; Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley <a href="https://variety.com/2025/music/news/ace-frehley-kiss-lead-guitarist-dead-1236554943/">told</a> Variety in a joint statement. &#8220;He was an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history.&#8221;
“He is and will always be a part of KISS’s legacy,” they went on before offering condolences to Frehley’s estranged wife and his daughter. “Our thoughts are with Jeanette, Monique and all those who loved him, including our fans around the world.”

Frehley, Stanley, Simmons, and Peter Criss founded the band in New York City in 1973. Known for their elaborate face paint and over-the-top performances including pyrotechnics, the band became massively popular in the mid-1970s and beyond.
Frehley was with KISS until launching a solo career in 1982, but came back for a reunion tour beginning in 1996 and stayed until 2002.
He went back to solo performing and was actively touring when he died. A <a href="https://www.facebook.com/officialacefrehley/posts/due-to-some-ongoing-medical-issues-ace-has-made-the-difficult-decision-to-cancel/1354495122702153/">post</a> on the official Ace Frehley Facebook page earlier this month confirmed that the rest of his tour was being canceled due to “ongoing medical issues.”

Just two months after making headlines for questioning a same-sex kiss scene in the Disney film “Lightyear,” Snoop Dogg has fully caved to the progressive mob. The 53-year-old rapper just announced that he teamed up with the LGBT activist organization GLAAD and wrote a new song with gay pride themes for his children’s series.
The recording artist, whose legal name is Calvin Broadus Jr., worked with GLAAD to promote “Spirit Day” for LGBT teens on Thursday. He teamed up with The Voice contestant Jeremy Beloate on “Love Is Love,” a song highlighted in the latest episode of Snoop’s animated children’s series Doggyland on YouTube.

“This is a program we’ve been doing for years where we involve kids,” he added. “These are things that kids have questions about so now hopefully we can help answer these questions and help them to live a happy life and understand that love is love.”
The rapper went on, “It’s a beautiful thing that kids can have parents of all walks and be shown love, to be taught what love is … being able to have parents from all walks of life, whether it be two fathers, two mothers, whatever it is, love is the key.”
This is a drastic about-face for Snoop, who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/snoop-dogg-calls-out-hollywood-for-lgbt-themes-in-childrens-films-theyre-putting-it-everywhere">criticized the inclusion</a> of same-sex couples in children’s programming in August after watching the movie “Lightyear” with his grandkids.
“What you see is what you see, and they’re putting it everywhere,” Snoop said before referencing the 2022 Disney film, which featured a same-sex couple. 
“They’re like, ‘She had a baby with another woman.’ Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie is like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman!’” he went on.
The rapper said he thought, &#8220;&#8216;Oh sh**, I didn’t come in for this sh**. I just came to watch the g**damn movie.’” But his grandson wouldn’t let it go, and said, &#8220;They just said, she and she had a baby … they’re both women. How does she have a baby?” 
Snoop said the whole thing “f***ed me up. I’m like, scared to go to the movies. Y’all throwing me in the middle of sh** that I don’t have an answer for.”
“It threw me for a loop. I’m like, ‘What part of the movie was this? … These are kids,” he added. “We have to show that at this age? They’re going to ask questions. I don’t have the answer.”
Many of Snoop’s followers were furious over the comments and accused him of defecting to the conservative side, especially considering that he had performed at a celebratory event before President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

A Taylor Swift fan who accused the singer of selling a necklace with allegedly blatant Nazi symbolism has gone viral with her claims.
Also, the item has disappeared from Swift’s <a href="https://store.taylorswift.com/">merchandise site</a>, though it’s unclear if this was due to the accusations or because it sold out. Reps for Swift did not immediately return a request for comment on the controversy.
User sampire1513, whose profile describes her as “the friend that’s too woke” and “happily gay married,” posted a video detailing all the symbolism she saw on the necklace being sold on Swift’s merchandise website. The jewelry piece was meant to go along with the song “Opalite” from the singer’s newest “The Life of a Showgirl” album.
The video has gone viral on multiple social media platforms, earning 5.4 million views on TikTok and a ton of supportive comments.
The TikTok creator opened by mentioning the reception to the song “Opalite,” which she said has “racial undertones.”
“I am in the business of  listening to black women. I think they would know what a microaggression sounds like against them way better than I ever could,” sampire1513 began.
She said after seeing the necklace, she has decided that the song “Opalite” is “completely intentionally racial. And I am sick.”

The TikTok creator goes on to describe how the necklace has lightning bolts, but insists that the way these lightning bolts are designed is meant to represent something specific while acknowledging that the lyrics say, “dancing through the lightning strikes.”
“They are specifically SS lightning bolts,” sampire1513 continues. “Okay? It is not ambiguous. That is exactly what it is.”
She goes on with the conspiracy accusations.

“And then, if you&#8217;ll look, there are eight of them,” the TikTok user says. “Why does that matter? Because H is the eighth letter in the alphabet. Many Nazi, neo Nazi circles, gangs, will put an 88, meaning [Heil] Hitler, they&#8217;ll put it in their bios, they&#8217;ll tattoo it on their bodies, they&#8217;ll put it on their motorcycles, their leather jackets … I&#8217;m not reaching … the 88 thing is extremely common.”
Sampire1513 goes on to claim that the cross on the necklace is a “f***ing iron cross,” a German military medal.
The social media creator said after seeing the necklace, there are only two options.
“Number one, Swift&#8217;s team and Swift herself, they put this out, and they genuinely just didn&#8217;t know what they were doing. And it&#8217;s a complete happenstance that it resembles any commonly used Nazi dog whistles,” she said, noting that for this to happen, there would have to be no one on the team who is Jewish or who went through “cultural sensitivity training.”
“&#8230;Option number two, which is, she knows exactly what this is, and that’s what she decided to put out. What the f***,” the user said.
Sampire1513 demanded that Swift put out a statement condemning Nazism and hatred. “I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m reaching at all,” she said in conclusion of the necklace’s alleged symbolism. “I think it&#8217;s clear as f***ing day.”
The user set her TikTok account to private Thursday as the video continued gaining traction online. X users called her out for the allegations.
“That’s some unhinged stuff right there. As someone who studied the 3rd Reich for many years at university &#8211; no, they don’t look like SS lighting bolts, those look like the last 2 letters in KISS. That looks NOTHING like the Iron Cross,” one commenter <a href="https://x.com/Davidwebrooks/status/1978750769584087290">wrote</a>.

The Kennedy Center is bringing a patriotic new change to concerts at the Washington, D.C., performing arts center ahead of America’s 250th birthday, The Daily Wire has learned.
Every performance of the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center throughout the 2025-2026 season will begin with the National Anthem. The move coincides with plans from the Trump administration to celebrate the 250 anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence next summer.
“The National Symphony should be playing the National Anthem,” Kennedy Center President Ric Grenell said.
The National Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1931 and performs around 150 concerts annually.
The move is the latest change at the Kennedy Center since President Donald Trump promised to end wokeness at the performing arts center. As part of this move, Trump became chair of the center and tapped Grenell to serve as its president.
“At my direction, we are going to make the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., GREAT AGAIN,” Trump wrote in February. “Just last year, the Kennedy Center featured Drag Shows specifically targeting our youth — THIS WILL STOP.”
The changes the new board made led to full-scale meltdowns on the Left, including protests expressed through interpretive dancing.

According to a previous report published by The Daily Wire, the Kennedy Center is $40 million in debt and will be making major cuts to staff.
“The former leadership built a broken budget with an operating deficit of 100 million dollars and a bottom-line deficit of 26 million dollars,” CFO Donna Arduin said. “The former leadership led Board members to believe there was a balanced budget when there was $26 Million in false funds. Fiscal Year 25 budget was previously passed with $26M of fictitious funds. We have now truly balanced the budget.”
To get the Center out of the red, Grenell “has hired new Department leaders with lower salaries than those they replaced, including his salary which is dramatically lower than the previous President’s.”
The CFO also said that the Kennedy Center “will adopt business practices with performance goals to bring accountability to our patrons and philanthropists.”

President Trump is not on board with the NFL’s decision to have ICE-bashing artist Bad Bunny as the Halftime Show performer at Super Bowl LX in February.
“This guy does not seem like a unifying entertainer and a lot of folks don’t even know who he is,” Newsmax’s Greg Kelly <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFUyM6auMns&amp;list=PLanUqPajptu5g083z-0ggsIxzKhWXNBrW&amp;index=3">said</a> during a phone interview. Kelly asked Trump if people should “entertain blowing off the NFL.”
“I never heard of him. I don’t know who he is, I don’t know why they’re doing it, it’s crazy, and then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment, I think it’s absolutely ridiculous,” Trump added.
The NFL and Apple Music announced on September 28 that the Puerto Rican recording artist will be performing during the most watched television event of the year. Critics were quick to point out that the artist, whose real name is Benito Ocasio, had already refused to perform in the United States due to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers doing their jobs.
Ocasio referred to ICE agents as “motherf***ers” and “sons of b****es” in a video he posted to Instagram.
The three-time Grammy Award-winner said during a recent interview that he didn’t book any tour stops in the United States because he was worried ICE agents would target concert attendees.
“There was the issue of — like, f***ing ICE could be outside. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”
Social media users also pointed out that none of Bad Bunny’s songs are in English.
