The decade's most triggering comedy
Recording artist Sam Smith is getting slammed online for a recent performance in the U.K. which some social media users say should have been age-restricted due to graphic sexual content and Satanic imagery.
Smith kicked off the “Gloria” world tour April 12 in Sheffield, and video clips of the performance started circulating online, with many attendees expressing their shock that the show was not age-restricted.
“Imagine taking your kids & paying good money to see this perverse freak show,” one person wrote. “The fact he is even relevant demonstrates clearly our dying society.”
“An all ages show with many children present. Sam Smith is a dangerous man, this is profound child abuse,” another person wrote alongside a clip of Smith performing while dressed in a devil costume and gyrating on stage.
At another point, Smith, who identifies as “non-binary,” stripped down to black underwear, fishnet tights and black boots with nothing but nipple pasties while performing a cover of Madonna’s song “Human Nature,” per a report from The Daily Mail.
The Ticketmaster site notes that concert attendees under 15 must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over, but did not advertise any restrictions for attending the show.
One mother posted a video saying her five-year-old copies all Smith’s dance moves.
5 year old girl attended Sam Smiths concert last night. The singer thanked her for coming and the child’s mother said “she copies all your dance moves”.

Are these dance moves something children should be copying?”
The “Gloria” tour heads to London this week and will head to the U.S. in July, starting in Miami.
Smith came under fire for a similarly graphic, over-the-top performance of the song “Unholy” at the 2023 Grammy Awards in February, as The Daily Wire previously reported.
“Don’t fight the culture wars, they say. Meanwhile demons are teaching your kids to worship Satan. I could throw up,” political commentator Liz Wheeler tweeted at the time.
“People like Sam Smith who love to mock Christianity and use Satanic themes always think they’re super edgy artists by doing it. In reality it’s not edgy. It’s boring, vile, rehashed shock tactics that Hollywood seals clap for because they’re evil & stupid,” commentator Robby Starbuck tweeted.
