Jonathan Majors is standing by his role in the DailyWire+ film “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/run-hide-fight-infidels" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Run Hide Fight: Infidels.</a>” 
The legacy media is predictably horrified by “Infidels,” calling it “deranged” and “Islamophobic drivel.” But that’s not enough to turn Majors against the project he opted to star in. 
The subject matter couldn’t be more timely. A follow-up to the hit 2020 action film “Run Hide Fight” — which dealt with a school shooting — takes place on a college campus that has been taken over by violent terrorists in a situation that’s chillingly true to life.
Majors plays Clay Saunders, a retired Delta Force soldier who visits a college campus to promote his new book. But the radical Islamic terrorists on campus stage a violent attack – co-opting a hapless group of campus protesters – to try to stop Saunders from spreading his warning against the rise of Islam in America. 
“When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate, a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of ‘Uncle Tom’ smears and a Delta Force vet must arm up to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil,” the logline of “Infidels” says.
“We cannot run or hide from what is coming,” he says from the stage. “We have to fight.”
The actor discussed the project during a recent Q&amp;A with Daily Wire subscribers and talked about why he chose something guaranteed to offend many of his liberal fans. According to Majors, it came down to the “cool” factor.
When asked whether he reviewed the script before agreeing to sign on for “Infidels,” Majors confirmed he did and that he liked what he saw.
“I’d like to say there’s like a chart where I go. ‘OK. No. No. No. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.’ But ultimately, it’s a feeling, you know, when you read the script. And for me, it’s never been about the size of the role, but the responsibility of the character and the world in which the character is going to operate,” he told the audience.
He then got to that cool factor. Majors said he evaluates potential projects on the overall vibes he gets.
“Is it cool? You know, like, do I want to put myself in the situation where it’s like cool or not? You know, is the director cool? You know, does he have a vision? You know, does he have a world that he’s gonna set me in?”
Beyond that, the “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” star said he has to believe in the film’s higher purpose. “I’ve got to do something and understand something that I didn’t understand before” and “be curious about,” he said.
Majors continued, “With ‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels,’ I read it. I said, ‘Wow, I don’t really have the answers to this, you know. So, this is something that I should engage in, you know, in order to grow.’”
He went on to say the role offered “growing as a person, as an artist, and having fun at work, right, and being able to bring that self to work … we’re building something that is really interesting to do and also interesting to deliver.”
Majors said his character has big responsibilities in the film, and that he thought, “I’d love to play that.”

The group overseeing Dolly Parton’s empire accused her nephew and former security manager of threatening violence and destroying his late aunt’s legacy in court filings submitted Tuesday.
The court documents filed in Nashville requested that Bryan Seaver be kept away from employees and the business, The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/22/arts/music/dolly-parton-restraining-order-bryan-seaver.html">reported</a>. 
Seaver owns a company that provided Parton’s security detail. He’s also the relative who made the lengthy announcement that his country music legend aunt had died last month following a battle with cancer. 
The temporary restraining order was filed by the company She’s Alive, which manages Parton’s professional property and business, as the outlet noted. She’s Alive is run by Parton’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell. 
The filing states that Seaver has been sending threatening messages over the last several weeks. Last week, She’s Alive cut ties with Seaver’s company, claiming that “terrorizing conduct made their continued retention untenable.” It accused Seaver of conducting “an obscene, deliberate and escalating campaign of threats” to obtain money from the Parton estate.
The court documents also contain text messages and emails allegedly sent by Seaver starting before Parton’s death with threats to destroy the brand. Messages sent after Parton’s death allegedly show Seaver enjoying the attention and calling himself an “international arms dealer.”
One message allegedly sent on September 1 read, “I’m going to set up a podcast dedicated to ruining Dolly’s brand partnerships and telling the violations these people have done on us. It’s going to be great. Or f*cking pay me.”
He&#8217;s also accused of writing that he would become “the hand of retribution for my entire family.”
In another message, Seaver said, &#8220;I’m going to spend the next time I have on earth ratf*cking anyone that has ever betrayed my family,&#8221; according to the court documents.
The documents state that employees of She’s Alive have quit due to Seaver’s statements and that the company has had to hire private security. The restraining order would keep Seaver at least 1,000 feet away from employees, attorneys, and business partners, the outlet noted. 
Seaver told the Times that the communications highlighted in the court filing are taken out of context. “This is a contrived out-of-context explanation of how this went down and it is being done in an effort to solidify me as some sort of opposition to her brand in her legacy, and that is not the case,” Parton’s nephew told the outlet.
He said his Aunt Dolly referred to him as “killer” in a joking manner. “It was a joke we used around her camp,” he said. “I was her ‘baby boy ninja.’”
“I trusted Danny,” Seaver said of Nozell, “and that’s what those messages were, two friends and brothers commiserating on the people that have screwed Dolly over for many, many years.”
Seaver reiterated that thought to TMZ, saying, “I was talking about people that have done bad to Dolly in business — a specific company that scared her and intimidated her. Those comments were about specific, horrible business partners that have done wrong to her and I stand by that.”

“The View” host Sunny Hostin bragged about how she was once a holdout juror and helped a cannibal avoid prison.
Hostin stunned other members of the panel when she admitted to being part of the reason “The Butcher of Tompkins Square Park” was found not guilty by reason of insanity in 1991. The discussion came up on Tuesday as the hosts discussed the Lindsay Clancy case.
“The insanity defense has been around in Massachusetts for 182 years, so I think it’s well-established. And I thought absolutely that she was not criminally responsible by reason of insanity,” she said of the Clancy trial, which ended in a mistrial earlier this month.
“And the reason I felt that — I feel so strongly about this holdout juror is because I was a holdout juror in a case; in the Daniel Rakowitz case. I don’t know if people remember it, The Butcher of Tompkins Square. It was in 1991 …” she said while trailing off.
“The guy who ate the victims?” fellow host Joy Behar asked.
“Yes,” Hostin confirmed, causing panelist Alyssa Farah Griffin to gasp. 
Hostin, a former federal prosecutor, went on to read from a New York Times article about Rakowitz being acquitted.
“Several jurors questioned afterwards said one holdout juror was principally responsible for preventing them from returning a guilty verdict,” Hostin read aloud from the article.
“That was me, and it was because I saw clearly that he was psychotic, he was in psychosis, he did not mean to kill her and once he killed her he panicked. He chopped up her body parts, yes, boiled her body parts, tried to commit the perfect crime and then …” she explained before Griffin cut her off.
“And you got this guy off?” Griffin asked in disbelief.
“That’s how much I believe in the insanity defense, and he fed her body parts to the unhoused,” she went on. 
“All that being said, it was so clear to me in the jury room. And we were sequestered for nine days, one juror threw a chair at me. They were so angry with me but one by one I picked them off and said, ‘What about this? What about that?’ and we ended up, all 12, unanimously voting that he was not criminally responsible by reason of insanity.”
“But he is still in a mental institution being treated,” Hostin added.
The Butcher of Tompkins Square Park case involved Daniel Rakowitz, a known drug dealer and eccentric who carried around a Bible and live rooster while making threats no one believed. He slaughtered his roommate Monika Beerle, a 26-year-old dance student, in 1989. He was accused of dismembering her body and boiling her head for soup, which he then said he served to the homeless.

Actress Hayden Panettiere&#8217;s death was ruled to be an accidental overdose on Tuesday.
The Greenville County, South Carolina, Coroner’s office ruled her death as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol and Quetiapine, per <a href="https://people.com/hayden-panettieres-cause-of-death-revealed-12061080">People</a>. The actress’s death was ruled to be an accident.
Panettiere, best known for starring roles in “Nashville” and “Heroes,” was discovered dead in her apartment on August 16 at the age of 36.
“On August 16, 2026, at approximately 1:51 PM, a 911 call was received regarding a reported cardiac arrest at 701 Easley Bridge Road in Greenville. First responders and Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and located a female in cardiac arrest. EMS personnel initiated advanced cardiac life support measures; however, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and the individual was pronounced deceased at 2:32 PM,” the coroner’s office statement said.
“The Greenville County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and initiated a parallel investigation with the Greenville City Police Department. The decedent has been identified as Hayden Leslie Panettiere, 36, of California. Panettiere was found unresponsive inside the residence, where she had been temporarily staying. An autopsy was completed by a board-certified forensic pathologist. At autopsy, no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death.”
The publicist for Panettiere&#8217;s family responded to the coroner&#8217;s report, telling the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/hayden-panettiere-cause-of-death-drugs-fentanyl-229349e2bb6e19d985372d8524b09fc8?taid=6ab291874ff7f5000152195a&amp;utm_campaign=TrueAnthem&amp;utm_medium=AP&amp;utm_source=Twitter">Associated Press</a> that “the investigation is still ongoing and the case is complex.”
The coroner&#8217;s report comes after multiple law enforcement sources told TMZ that Panettiere had a longtime drug dealer in Los Angeles who allegedly supplied her with black-market prescription drugs, including oxycodone. Investigators believe Panettiere took several drugs obtained from the dealer during her flight from Los Angeles to South Carolina the day before her death. They suggested at the time that one pill she took the following morning was an oxycodone pill laced with fentanyl, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-pill-investigators-believe-may-have-killed-hayden-panettiere">reported</a>.
Panettiere was discovered unconscious by her boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach Hickerson. Zach said he was returning from a church service to meet up with Panettiere and Brian for lunch. When he knocked on the door, his brother woke up, and they found Panettiere unconscious. Brian immediately administered Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, while Zach called 911, he said. The brothers then performed CPR together while remaining on the phone with 911 dispatchers, but Panettiere could not be revived.
Brian, the actress’ on-again-off-again boyfriend, reportedly met with DEA investigators as part of the ongoing probe. Police documents previously indicated that Panettiere had a “bag of medication” containing nine different substances, though the specific medications were redacted.
The DEA has been <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/incriminating-texts-with-drug-dealer-focus-of-probe-into-hayden-panettieres-death">involved in the case</a> since the early days of the investigation in the hopes of bringing down her dealer in the same way that the dealers who provided deadly doses to “Friends” actor Matthew Perry and rapper Mac Miller were brought to justice.

Singer Ed Sheeran just had a public meltdown, weeping and apologizing for offending the antisemitic fans who have been trashing him for the past week.
“I’ve never wanted to be an activist musician, but this put me in the middle of an important and passionate argument about freedom of speech and the most complex political issue on the planet,” Sheeran told a crowd of concert attendees in Philadelphia on Saturday night as anti-Israel protesters gathered outside the venue. 
The “Shape of You” singer noted that it’s been “one of the worst weeks&#8221; of his life.
“I have tried in my career not to be a political commentator of any kind, because I want my music and shows to be about unity, not division, about humanity, not politics,” Sheeran said. He went on to talk more and still tried to avoid taking sides.
“But this is a humanitarian issue. I cannot hide how I feel about it anymore. What happened in Israel, and at the music festival on October 7th, was horrific and compounded centuries of Jewish pain,” Sheeran said as he broke down in tears, as the New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/09/19/entertainment/ed-sheeran-weeps-on-stage-says-israels-actions-in-gaza-unjustifiable/">reported</a>.
He added, “What is happening in Gaza is catastrophic and unjustifiable and disproportionate. My heart has been broken by the scale of devastation and loss of civilian life and loss of children’s lives. And the systemic injustice we’re seeing unfolding in the West Bank cannot be overlooked.”
Sheeran told the crowd that he’s used to people making fun of his music, but said this cuts deeper.
“This week the criticism was about something much more important, and I’ve had to … make difficult decisions, and I am making mistakes, and I’m so, so sorry.”
After acknowledging that the tour is different without Macklemore and the other supporting acts that dropped out, Sheeran confirmed that the shows would go on and he would not cancel the rest of the tour. 
“Honoring my commitment to my fans is also completely central to who I am. And that is why I’m here tonight, on my own,” he said as the crowd applauded.
“I am deeply worried about the idea that venues should pre-approve content of performance,” the singer went on, saying it’s not something that should happen “in the free world.” 
Sheeran said, “The world is heading to a very, very, very dark place,” and noted that concerts are meant to combat this division. 
“If we get too divided … we need to come back to humanity, realize that we are all the same, and we understand each other,” he went on before introducing the musicians who replaced those who dropped out. 
At another point he started crying again, saying, “In these situations, you really find out who your friends are.”
He went on, “I have so many people telling me to cancel this tour and so many people falling out of my life that I’ve known for years and years and years, people just kind of backing away … And then, you know, I’m there, and everyone’s telling me to cancel, and I’m feeling my friends and family, and people I know, abandon me.”
But he said he ultimately decided, “If this tour ends, love doesn’t win.”
This soliloquy was spurred by Macklemore being dropped from the remainder of Sheeran’s “The Loop” tour in the United States following anti-Israel rants he gave on stage while performing as an opening act earlier this month. Macklemore responded by blaming a Jewish man, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, for orchestrating his cancellation, and implied Sheeran was a coward for not defending him. 
“&#8230; There is no neutral position between the oppressor and the oppressed. When one side has the bombs and bottomless financial and military support from America, refusing to take a side doesn’t leave you in the middle,” the rapper <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ed-sheeran-responds-to-the-macklemore-mess-i-am-not-complicit">said</a>.

Quite a few spoke out after the October 7 atrocities. They signed open letters and made sure their outrage had a public outlet.
Good for them. Yet, given how cataclysmic the events proved, and the sheer barbarism of that day, many more should have spoken up and never stopped talking.
But stop they did. And quickly, too, despite the ongoing hostage crisis.
Now, the cause du jour is on the other side of the argument. Celebrities have memory-holed those attacks, both the larger context and the specific barbarism involved. They no longer recognize Israel’s right to fight back, let alone that it took more than two years for Hamas to return the living hostages.
Their collective gaunt visage was lost on celebrities, too.
The Hollywood cool kids now cry, “Free Palestine” whenever they’re within 50 feet of a microphone. Bonus points for donning a keffiyeh.
It’s the new Climate Change Will Kill Us All … or Judge Kavanaugh is a rapist … or Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election. The latter cause célèbre took years to fade to black.
Just know that when Hollywood latches onto a cause, they jump in with two oversized feet. Now, it’s the Palestinian cause’s close-up.
Some stars deploy pins on awards show red carpets to spread the pro-Palestinian talking point. Others rage against Israel in junket interviews. Even more have vowed to <a href="https://www.npr.org/2025/09/19/nx-s1-5536976/einbinder-bardem-israeli-film-boycott-gaza">boycott Israel’s film industry, like Javier Bardem, Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo</a>.
Some do all of the above, like Oscar winner Bardem. But why?
Publicity and praise are the currency of today’s Hollywood. Celebrities get political for many reasons, but one is to let each other know they hold the “correct” opinions.
The Left’s “correct” opinion on the Israeli/Palestinian divide is simple. Oppressor and oppressed. Never mind the messy and necessary details.
Ed Sheeran is learning this lesson the hard way. The singer had to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stadium-owners-were-promised-macklemore-wouldnt-repeat-antisemitic-rant-he-did">remove pro-Palestinian rapper Macklemore</a> from his current tour after pressure from several venue owners.
Agree or disagree, now the media is painting Sheeran as the villain, even though he’s burned sizable calories being as neutral as possible on the matter.
Radio stations are ditching Sheeran’s music and his own band members have fled the tour. All because he somehow didn’t protect Macklemore from the fallout from his own lectures.
Will a single celebrity, singer, or artist stand up for Sheeran? Not a chance. Monolithic celebrity culture allows only one argument, one side of a given debate.
Sheeran didn’t even take a side, but that’s not sufficient. You have to endorse The Cause. Neutrality isn’t an option. And to stand up for Sheeran is to risk professional blowback, and that’s something very few artists are willing to risk – even if it’s the right call.
The Palestinian cause is so omnipresent it nearly overtakes film festivals. The recent Venice Film Festival had a pre-event meltdown over whether the assembled stars would take part in <a href="https://variety.com/2026/film/global/venice-film-festival-jury-press-conference-canceled-1236846620/">a jury press conference</a> as they’ve had in past years.
And, when a violently anti-Israel film, “NAZA,” graced the festival, the assembled audience gave the film a record-breaking <a href="https://deadline.com/2026/09/naza-record-ovation-25-minutes-venice-film-festival-1237073241/">25-minute standing ovation.</a>
That response has more than a little virtue signaling.
Veteran actor Matthew Lillard (“Scream,” “Scooby-Doo”) is no dummy when it comes to the superficial stakes, understanding what it takes to be with the “in” crowd — or at least among the ones who get steady jobs. He sees all his fellow artists jumping on the “free Palestine” bandwagon, and he wants in. So he apologized for taking a role in the most recent “Scream” sequel months after it hit theaters and grossed $121 million at the U.S. box office.
Lillard apologized for appearing in the project, one that initially included actress Melissa Barrera. The starlet raged against Israel in the weeks following October 7, with comments so toxic that the studio behind the horror saga sacked her.
Now, Lillard regrets <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/scream-star-admits-ashamed-sequel-return-actress-fired-anti-israel-comments">being a part of it all.</a>

I feel ashamed about that. Because in that moment I was so excited to go back, I didn’t really think about Melissa and that journey … I’m embarrassed, that’s the truth… I blew that. I’m on the wrong side of history for that. I still like being in the movie [but] it may not have been the best idea.

Not so long ago, climate change dominated the celebrity circuit. The stars either spoke out about the matter, funded documentaries on the subject or, in the case of Leonardo DiCaprio, both.
Major films like “Geostorm,” “Snowpiercer,” “Don’t Look Up” and “2012” all traded heavily on that eco-panic.
Recent polling suggests that climate change is fading in the public eye. What better time than to pivot to the Middle East?
So will we see a crush of “Free Palestine”-themed films moving forward? Unlikely. The industry has already made a few documentaries hitting on that theme, but it’s hardly box-office catnip, so we can expect the movement to continue with low-budget docs over features with A-listers like Brad Pitt or Jessica Chastain.
The dirty little secret? Most stars likely know very little about the Israel/Palestinian divide. Heck, Susan Sarandon once <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-hamas-war/article-799035">denied that Hamas committed mass rapes</a> during the October 7 atrocities. Former Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg filmed a documentary on the subject, letting survivors share the ghoulish stories they witnessed.
Doesn’t Sarandon believe all women?
Just a few months ago, Celebrity Nation rallied against ICE. ICE out! was last month’s “Free Palestine!” Rockers even penned odes to slain anti-ICE activist Renee Good. If you had a pin on the red carpet, it referenced the illegal immigration task force in some capacity.
Chances are, the upcoming awards season will find those pins discarded for the new flavor of the month.
That’s assuming the collective, agreed-upon messaging doesn’t change, again, in just a few short weeks.

Why ‘Free Palestine’ Is Just The Latest Celeb Slogan Forcing Entertainers To Take Sides

There are plenty of reasons the internet is abuzz about the Daily Wire&#8217;s new film, “Run Hide Fight: Infidels.&#8221; But one scene in particular dominating the conversation.
Leftwing outlets panned it. Social media reaction skewed positive. And almost everyone agrees that one of the craziest scenes involves two students: a gay man, Bruce, and a blue-haired activist named Farrah, who find out the consequences of siding with the terrorists when push comes to shove. Literally.
“We just … didn’t expect … so much death,” Bruce (Colton Kugler) says with a frown. “We have killed the right amount to instill fear,” the terrorist leader Ibrahim (Stephen Hailo) assures him. “Many we let run so they could tell others of our strength and the remaining ones are … piano keys.”
Ibrahim goes on to complain that “so many in your country cannot even be bothered to produce children” but suggests these two students will reverse that trend. Farrah rejects the assumption that they’re a couple. “We’re not…” she stutters, before declaring herself pansexual. “I like everyone,” she explains, as Bruce chimes in, “I’m gay.”
This prompts the terrorist to push Bruce off the roof, killing him. When the blue-haired pansexual attempts to run away, screaming and trying to reason that they “want the same thing,” she makes one last attempt, saying, “Please! God!” before the terrorist slits her throat while declaring, “There is no God but Allah.”
This scene has been circulating online, with viewers calling it “<a href="https://x.com/patrick2604/status/2100358113261932901?s=43">bonkers</a>” and saying it “<a href="https://x.com/OliLondonTV/status/2100437959334035946">exposes [the] absurdity</a> of ‘Queers for Palestine.’”
“That&#8217;s the hard truth and unbiased reality of this ‘alliance’ the left has made with Jihadists. They will be put to the sword as soon as there are no other enemies left,” another commenter <a href="https://x.com/SpaceJellySSA/status/2100596671596146955">agreed</a>. “They are the useful idiots with blue hair.”
“Love it!! All the brainwashed millennial morons should have that as required watching,” <a href="https://x.com/dapperdan68/status/2100554130519367819">echoed</a> another.
The scene also appeared in the most recent <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj8f_IPyeRA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">episode</a> of “Friendly Fire,” with Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, Matt Walsh, and Andrew Klavan weighing in. 
Klavan called the hypocrisy “imaginary life,” comparing the scene to how liberals in Martha’s Vineyard reacted when immigrants arrived on their doorsteps. “They can’t stand when you make fun of it, because it exposes it for what it is, which is vapor,” Klavan said.
Shapiro pointed out that the scene exposes a huge flaw of the Left: they believe so deeply in their own virtue. “The notion that radical leftists are just wonderful people who believe that others should be treated with decency, care, and respect is such a bunch of horsesh*t,” he said. 
“Some of the cruelest people, some of the most destructive people — people who would, for example, be trolling it up on TikTok over Charlie Kirk getting assassinated or something — those people are the people who just want others to be treated with decency and care and respect. And that&#8217;s why they&#8217;re protesting in favor of Hamas in Gaza or why on 9/11 they&#8217;re reading Osama bin Laden&#8217;s letters &#8230; because they&#8217;re so empathetic. And how dare we make fun of those people.”

Longtime “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison is back for a new dating reality show after he was targeted by cancel culture in 2021 for defending a contestant who attended an Antebellum-themed party.
The teaser trailer for “The Vow,” which premieres November 11 on FOX Nation, subtly takes aim at his former gig, which launched the popular reality show host’s career. In the trailer, a man is seen adjusting his suit before the camera reveals his identity.
“Expecting someone else?” Harrison says as the words “Roses fade. True love lasts forever,” appear on screen. In the video, Harrison almost steps on a single red rose, which is a recognizable symbol from the long-running “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” franchise.
The premiere season of “The Vow” will follow 30-year-old bachelor Jace Cates as he dates 10 women seeking marriage and long-term commitment, as the New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/09/17/media/chris-harrison-teases-dating-show-return-with-roses-and-a-wink-at-his-bachelor-past">reported</a>. The series will reportedly focus on faith, family, communication, and shared values. 
“I’m so excited to be back helping people find love,” Harrison said, calling this project “the most authentic dating show on television today.”
Harrison added that it was inspired by the “faith-driven renaissance happening across America.”
The former “Bachelor” host posted on Instagram earlier this year that casting was open for the series, which was advertised as “dating for traditional marriage,” The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/former-bachelor-host-returns-to-tv-for-traditional-marriage-dating-show">reported</a>.
Harrison told The Daily Wire, “I will be coming back to TV to do what means the most to me: helping people find love. I want to do a show that is actually about finding that true love. I think that’s been lost, and I think we all want it back. Will there be drama along the way? Absolutely, but in the end it will always be about love.”
“The response to our casting announcement has been incredible,” the longtime reality show host continued. “People are talking, discussing, debating love and relationships; that’s what great reality TV is about. As for what the show is all about… I’ll turn to one of my favorite lines here: you’ll find out, after the break.”
Harrison parted ways with “The Bachelor” after 19 years of hosting the series following controversy stemming from his defense of a contestant accused of racism. 
The longtime host was attacked for defending Season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell after she received backlash for attending an Antebellum-themed party before being cast for the show. 
“The picture was from 2018 at an Old South Antebellum party. That’s not a good look,” former bachelorette Rachel Lindsay told Harrison during an interview with “Extra” in February 2021.
“Is it a good look in 2018, or is it not a good look in 2021?” Harrison replied.
He said that the audience should “have a little grace, a little understanding, a little compassion” for Kirkconnell attending a party in 2018 when social etiquette was very different. These comments led to extreme backlash and eventually to Harrison resigning as the show’s host and issuing a formal apology.
In 2023, Harrison said leaving the show ultimately had a positive impact on his life.
“I still look at this as a blessing in my life. It was hard at first, obviously, it wasn’t immediate where I felt great about everything because what I went through was tumultuous. I don’t wish it on anybody,” Harrison said during a podcast interview in 2023.
“But, with that said, I knew I had to remove myself from what became a very toxic situation, and I did, and that was a very difficult situation,” he added. “I’m proud of that decision. I’m proud that I handled it the way I did and I still look at it as a blessing because it changed my life on so many levels.”

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has responded to Macklemore being axed from Ed Sheeran’s tour by pledging $2 million to humanitarian relief efforts.
Kraft has been a key figure in the controversy as the “Thrift Store” rapper blamed the NFL owner for getting him thrown off the tour by allegedly refusing to let him play at Gillette Stadium.
&#8220;I have dedicated much of my life to building bridges between all people. I believe deeply that all lives are worth protecting,&#8221; Kraft <a href="https://x.com/GilletteStadium/status/2100337429886427309">said</a> in the statement shared on the official Gillette Stadium social media page Tuesday evening. 
&#8220;Earlier today, before Macklemore challenged me to match his donation, Ed called me and asked me to commit $2 million to match his donation to aid in the region to fight this humanitarian crisis. Ed now plans to reach out to other venue owners and our goal is to continue to work together to build bridges.&#8221;
The statement went on, &#8220;In addition, I&#8217;d like the people who are speaking in support of the Palestinian people to know that for decades, I have supported efforts that create opportunity for Palestinians and have brought young Palestinians and Israelis together to build businesses, create jobs, and forge relationships.&#8221;
This move came after the rapper said he would donate $1 million to a Palestinian organization and challenged the billionaire to match the number.
Macklemore’s anti-Israel rants on stage led to a wave of backlash, and the rapper was ultimately removed from Sheeran’s tour.
While performing as Sheeran&#8217;s opener, Macklemore told fans at one concert, “A big part of the reason why I wanted to do this tour in the first place is so I could stand up in stadiums like this and say two words that are very near and dear to my heart: ‘Free Palestine.&#8217;”
After being axed, the rapper responded by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/macklemore-blames-jewish-nfl-owner-for-getting-him-booted-from-ed-sheeran-tour">claiming</a> that Kraft — who is Jewish — was behind a concerted effort to get him removed from the tour.
“We were scheduled to play Gillette Stadium later this month, which is owned by the Kraft Group,” Macklemore wrote. “Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium. Ed also told me that Kraft had rallied some of the other stadium owners and collectively they gave him an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.”
Messina Touring Group, which is promoting the tour, confirmed that multiple venues had said they would “not allow a concert to take place with Macklemore on the lineup.” The company said Macklemore was dropped after “discussions with stakeholders.”
Kraft confirmed that Gillette Stadium had refused to host Macklemore but said the decision was based on what he described as a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric.
“Gillette Stadium has a longstanding commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all guests and ensuring that events held at our venue do not provide a platform for hate speech,” Kraft said in a statement at the time.
“This decision is not about diminishing the suffering of innocent Palestinians or denying anyone the right to advocate on their behalf,” Kraft continued. “Their pain and loss are real. But that advocacy should not come at the expense of the Jewish community or obscure the responsibility of Hamas.”
Kraft said Macklemore had presented selective information and ignored Hamas’ role in causing suffering among Israelis and Palestinians. He also offered to meet with the rapper to discuss the situation.
“I would welcome the opportunity to sit down with Macklemore and discuss the facts, because ultimately our goal is the same — peace for all people, an end to suffering, and an end to all hate.”

The legacy media is predictably horrified by the new Daily Wire movie “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/run-hide-fight-infidels?utm_campaign=rhf2&amp;utm_medium=website&amp;utm_source=editorial&amp;utm_content=editorial_na_creative00795_na" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Run Hide Fight: Infidels</a>,” calling it “deranged” and “Islamophobic drivel.”
These types of reviews are precisely what makes it worth seeing.
As usual, the creators are being criticized for telling the truth that’s obvious to everyone but Hollywood refuses to accept. While they fawn over narratives pushing white men as the villains, “Infidels” exposes the true threat to Western civilization: radical Islam.

A reviewer from <a href="https://variety.com/2026/film/reviews/run-hide-fight-infidels-review-1236864093/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Variety</a> insists that the film is “unworthy of its outrage,” dubbing it an “Islamophobic promotional campaign.”
“Rather than making a satirical point about liberal overreach, the movie argues that all this empathy for other people — including for the Indigenous tribes whose land was seized on behalf of the school, or Palestinians trying to hold onto theirs — is a purely oppressive force,” the review goes on. “Are you contemptuous of radical leftists who believe that others should be treated with decency, care and respect? If so, this is the film for you.”
Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro <a href="https://x.com/benshapiro/status/2100253723628847380" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> a portion of the review, prompting followers to express how the reaction to the film was making them more excited about the movie&#8217;s premiere on Wednesday.
“Stop, I’m already [planning] on watching it, you don’t have to convince me,” one person <a href="https://x.com/GrageDustin/status/2100265159268720793" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>.
Far-Left outlet <a href="https://slate.com/culture/2026/09/run-hide-fight-infidels-jonathan-majors-daily-wire.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Slate</a> begrudgingly complimented the film by calling it “Die Hard-ish” in terms of action sequences. The reviewer also pointed out that no terrorist event like the one in “Infidels” has occurred on a college campus, implying that the plot is extreme for suggesting it could. Who could ever imagine a violent terrorist attack by a radical islamist in the United States, right?
“There’s a feeling of evil glee to the carnage wrought in &#8216;Infidels&#8217; that goes beyond anything you see in the first &#8216;Run Hide Fight,&#8217; and beyond anything that happens in, say, a Taylor Sheridan show,” the Slate reviewer observed, concluding that the movie was ultimately “deranged.”
<a href="https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2026/sep/17/jonathan-majors-action-thriller" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Guardian</a> blasted “Infidels” for its “brazen political incorrectness” and claimed the &#8220;film’s &#8216;bad Muslim&#8217; conceit&#8221; was a “dated” concept.
Shapiro responded to that review, posting on X, “What they find disturbing, by the way, is that we depict ISIS doing ISIS things. This is unacceptable. ISIS must never be portrayed doing ISIS things. They must instead be portrayed as victims of Western imperialism.”
A reviewer from <a href="https://rogersmovienation.com/2026/09/17/movie-review-120-minutes-of-badly-written-poorly-acted-poison-run-hide-fight-infidels/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Movie Nation</a> also complained about the film, calling it, “a whole lot of hate packed into its 120 or so minutes of clumsy, lurching running time.” YouTube reviewer “Rama’s Screen” said it was a “torture session” just like it’s predecessor and insisted Shapiro wants “everyone to hate” all Muslims.
“The right wing propaganda is so on the nose,” he complained. “It’s not enough for the film to demonize Muslims. It also needs to validate and rationalize open carry and toxic masculinity.”
Rama took issue with the portrayal of Muslims especially, saying, “They don’t care about the fact that wearing a hijab is a personal choice, and that there are millions of moderate female Muslims out there who don’t wear any head scarves at all. The whole film is a heavy-handed, cartoonish, tone deaf political commentary.&#8221;
Everything above is both the reason the Daily Wire made the film and why you should run to watch it.
Those not carrying water for the radical Left had very different reactions to the film. Reviewer Christian Toto gave it solid marks, writing, “‘Infidels’ has little interest in subtlety. It’s a bare-knuckled assault on a Hollywood ecosystem that ignores reality and the Modern Left. &#8216;Infidels&#8217; reminds us of all the stories that should be told but aren’t.”
“It’s like ‘Citizen Vigilante,’ but with far more skill, humor and self-awareness,” he added.
The review site <a href="https://filmthreat.com/reviews/run-hide-fight-infidels/">Film Threat</a> also had positive things to say about the film. &#8220;It was a visceral experience watching this film. Rankin’s screenplay weaves in satire, romance, and explosive action in a tight package. All these tonal elements easily flow together,&#8221; the reviewer said.
&#8220;It is the right amount of high-stakes melodrama and light comedy, which evokes classical Hollywood filmmaking,&#8221; the review continued. &#8220;The stunt work, pyrotechnics, practical effects, and marksmanship are beautifully done. Action scenes never feel redundant, and the brutality from our disgusting antagonists is appropriately shocking without going into exploitation territory.&#8221;
The reviewer also notes the timeliness of the topic, concluding that it&#8217;s on par with Daily Wire hits including Matt Walsh&#8217;s documentaries &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; and &#8220;Am I Racist?&#8221;
&#8220;&#8216;Infidels&#8217; is an exhilarating blockbuster that will bring out the fighting American spirit this fall,&#8221; the review concludes.

Former &#8220;Walker, Texas Ranger&#8221; star Judson Mills jabbed at the Emmys decision to leave longtime co-star Chuck Norris out of the awards show&#8217;s &#8220;In Memoriam&#8221; segment designed to honor those who have passed away in the last year.
Mills played the role of Francis Gage, opposite Norris, in the final two seasons of &#8220;Walker, Texas Ranger&#8221; — which spanned nine seasons and 203 episodes total — as well as the 2005 follow-up movie &#8220;Trial by Fire.&#8221; He told entertainment site TMZ that after realizing Norris had been passed over for the segment, he had to &#8220;assume it was just a terrible mistake.&#8221;
&#8220;My first thought was Gena and the family. And his fans,&#8221; Mills said, but said that he believed Norris would not have wanted anyone to be angry about the apparent snub: &#8220;I&#8217;m confident Chuck would encourage forgiveness. He was an &#8216;it&#8217;s not all about me&#8217; kind of guy.&#8221;
Still, Mills said that the omission hurt.
&#8220;But for an icon of his stature who impacted not only Hollywood, but the entire world, to see him not receive recognition at all and to see the family not receive that recognition was disappointing … It hurt my feelings for sure. He was a legend for God’s sake,&#8221; Mills added.
Norris was not the only name left out of the segment. &#8220;Buffy the Vampire Slayer&#8221; star Nicholas Brendon was not mentioned — despite the fact that his co-star Anthony Stewart Head was included. Also missing from the segment were &#8220;Lilo &amp; Stitch&#8221; voice actress Daveigh Chase and &#8220;Starship Troopers&#8221; actor Patrick Muldoon.

Singer Ed Sheeran has issued a statement on the Macklemore debacle, insisting that he’s unwilling to turn the stage into a political platform.
The singer said that he lets all of his support acts, including Macklemore, choose their own setlists. Venues on upcoming tour dates then told him they would pull their shows if Macklemore stayed on the bill, Sheeran said, following the rapper&#8217;s two controversial shows at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey earlier this month.
“I am appalled by the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The suffering and pain caused on both sides is a human tragedy. There are too many wars across the world causing immeasurable pain, none of which should be tolerated,” Sheeran <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DdT-6KGAtuI/?stkn=YnAxYTFuMXdyNmJp&amp;img_index=5">shared</a> on Instagram. 
“I was informed that this stance was based on how Macklemore conveyed part of his message during his performance, rather than on everything that was said,” he went on. “I spoke with the venues at length all week to try and build a bridge. One of those people was Robert Kraft.”
&#8220;Macklemore coming off tour was the promoter&#8217;s decision, it was not mine,&#8221; Sheeran added. &#8220;Macklemore&#8217;s contract for the tour was with the promoter, not me.&#8221;
“I am not complicit. I have my personal views on this devastating conflict,” Sheeran wrote. “Just because I choose not to speak publicly, it doesn’t mean I don’t have them, and it doesn’t mean I don’t care.”
Sheeran said he does not use his “professional platform” for politics because his audience comes from all backgrounds and does not expect to hear political opinions there. 
“I choose to use my fame and platform to be a place of safety and sanctuary,” the statement said.
This was all said in response to Macklemore being dropped by Messina Touring Group from the remainder of Sheeran’s “The Loop” tour in the U.S. following anti-Israel rants he gave on stage while performing as an opening act. Macklemore responded by blaming a Jewish man, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, for orchestrating his cancellation.
“Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour,” he wrote, adding, “I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families. The victims are the Palestinian people.”
Macklemore alleged that Kraft, whose company owns Gillette Stadium, refused to let him perform during Sheeran’s upcoming shows at the Massachusetts venue and “rallied” other stadium owners to take the same position, as The Daily Wire previously reported.

Macklemore then implied Sheeran was a coward for not taking sides. 
“Ed was in a f*cked up position. He knew it. His typical apolitical stance was being challenged in a way it never had been before,” Macklemore wrote. “But there is no neutral position between the oppressor and the oppressed. When one side has the bombs and bottomless financial and military support from America, refusing to take a side doesn’t leave you in the middle.”
“If I kept doing the shows, saying &#8216;Free Palestine,&#8217; with Ed implicitly supporting it, the crowd getting loud and showing undeniable support for Palestinian liberation, what artist might speak out next? The stage becomes resistance,” Macklemore went on. “Maybe that’s why this time it became so important to silence me.”
