The 911 audio recording from the moments after Hayden Panettiere was found unresponsive in her South Carolina apartment reveals the frantic attempt to save her life.
Obtained by <a href="https://x.com/cbsnews/status/2110444521842721010?s=46">CBS News</a> on Wednesday, the recording includes audio of Brian Hickerson’s brother Zach calling authorities in a panic after finding the “Heroes” star unresponsive on August 16.
“Oh god, oh my god,” Zach can be heard saying, prompting the dispatcher to ask if Panettiere was breathing. “No, I don’t think so,” he replied.
The dispatcher instructed Zach to find a defibrillator, but he said he wasn’t sure if one was available. “OK, we need to start CPR,” the dispatcher told Zach. “I’m going to tell you how to do CPR, OK? We’re gonna start with ventilation first.”
What followed was a back-and-forth exchange between Zach and the dispatcher as he attempted to give CPR to Panettiere until first responders arrived and took over.
The star was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m. after emergency personnel arrived on scene.
The Greenville County, South Carolina, coroner’s office ruled her death as the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine, per People. The actress’s death was ruled to be an accident.
Multiple law enforcement sources told TMZ that Panettiere had a longtime drug dealer in Los Angeles who allegedly supplied her with black-market prescription drugs, including oxycodone. Investigators believe Panettiere took several drugs obtained from the dealer during her flight from Los Angeles to South Carolina the day before her death. They suggested at the time that one pill she took the following morning was an oxycodone pill laced with fentanyl, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hayden-panettieres-official-cause-of-death-revealed">reported</a>.
Panettiere was discovered unconscious by her boyfriend Brian and his brother. Zach said he was returning from a church service to meet up with Panettiere and Brian for lunch. When he knocked on the door, his brother woke up, and they found Panettiere unconscious. Brian immediately administered Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, while Zach called 911, he said.
Brian, the actress’s on-again-off-again boyfriend, reportedly met with DEA investigators as part of the ongoing probe. Police documents previously indicated that Panettiere had a “bag of medication” containing nine different substances, though the specific medications were redacted.
The DEA has been involved in the case since the early days of the investigation in the hopes of bringing down her dealer in the same way that the dealers who provided deadly doses to “Friends” actor Matthew Perry and rapper Mac Miller were brought to justice.

The Daily Wire announced an exciting new entertainment project this week, and the cast includes some of the biggest names in the business.
“Confession,” which will debut at the Warsaw Film Festival on Thursday, includes seven Academy Award nominees across its cast and crew. That includes star Rob Lowe (“The West Wing”), James Franco (“127 Hours”), Jennifer Jason Leigh (“The Hateful Eight”), Kodi Smit-McPhee (“The Power of the Dog”), Nick Nolte (“The Prince of Tides”), Richard Brake (“Batman Begins”), Emile Hirsch (“Into the Wild”), Brad Dourif (“One Flew Over the Cuckoo&#8217;s Nest”), and Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”).
“Confession” is written by Ben Shapiro and produced by Dallas Sonnier for Bonfire Legend, Travis Mills, Rob Lowe, Amanda Presmyk, and Shapiro. Acclaimed Czech filmmaker Václav Marhoul (“The Painted Bird”) directed the project.
The drama deals in heavy yet important themes, including the evils of communism, the temptation of the materialist worldview, and the necessity of God in our lives, guiding our choices. It’s about courage, and why we must stand up for righteousness, even in the darkest moments.
<iframe loading="lazy" title="Confession | Official Teaser" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Os-7yu_UqGY?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>
“In Stalin’s 1938 Moscow, a disillusioned former literature professor, Alexei (Lowe), is arrested and brought to the infamous Lubyanka Prison, charged with conspiring with his dissident priest. There, Alexei faces interrogation by his brilliant and brutal former student, Vladimir (Franco),&#8221; the film&#8217;s logline states.
“This is an incredible story of the human spirit and its survival against those who would crush it,” said Lowe.
&#8220;From a director’s perspective, this film was a truly great challenge for me,” Marhoul said. “I ventured into a genre I hadn&#8217;t explored before: an intimate, dialogue-driven psychological drama set in a single location. Together with cinematographer Peter Menzies, I sought the most sensitive approach to directing and visual style — one that matched the story and characters. A wonderful crew and cast helped me meet that challenge.&#8221;
Shapiro added, “It was a true honor to be able to work with a cast featuring Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe nominees, as well as one of the world’s great directors, to make ‘Confession,’ an extraordinarily beautiful and honest film deeply rooted in faith, morality, virtue, hardship, and most of all, what it means to be a free and decent human being. I couldn’t be more proud of this project and can’t wait for the audience to see it.”
Following its premiere at the Warsaw Film Festival, &#8220;Confession&#8221; will open in 100 theaters nationwide for one night only on November 11, the same day it debuts on The Daily Wire.

The drama between singer Kelly Clarkson and a Brooklyn game shop just got more interesting as the store owner put her on blast, <a href="https://x.com/Ml_buckley1010/status/2110088570157269428">saying</a> the “American Idol” winner’s “gross abuse of power” was “reprehensible” and that she should face “social consequences.”
Art of Play co-owner Adam Rubin complained that he’s had to shut off the phone in his store due to the avalanche of negative reactions he’s gotten from Clarkson’s fans. The internet is divided over who&#8217;s at fault, with some saying Clarkson was acting like a total diva for expecting to be able to purchase the one-of-a-kind animatronic bird, Molly, that’s on display at the store.
Rubin <a href="https://x.com/tmz/status/2110132329695850945?s=46&amp;t=BDz6oekueqrSVJ50bM62xw">told</a> TMZ that he’s “legitimately concerned” about the safety of his employees at the shop and said, “Kelly Clarkson has put us all in danger.”
“Things changed when she used her platform to attack us. It’s just social warfare,” he went on.
Others have pointed out that the store appears to have released contradictory information, sometimes indicating there’s a version of the bird for sale, and other times claiming there isn’t. Pablo Torre, host of the investigative podcast, “Pablo Torre Finds Out,” was able to obtain security footage from the time of the incident — but that has also raised as many questions as answers.
The video offers another perspective on the ongoing drama but because it doesn’t include sound, it’s unclear how the interaction last Sunday went down. Clarkson can be seen interacting with an employee, pointing at the bird, and then setting down items and walking out quickly. But a lot of assumptions are being made about the body language of both the singer and the employee — and there&#8217;s no clear consensus on any of it.
The drama began a week earlier when the original “American Idol” winner posted about the incident on social media in a <a href="https://x.com/kellyclarkson/status/2108998378675933224">tweet</a> that has since racked up almost 46 million views.
“Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out,” she wrote alongside a thumbs-down emoji.
Reps from the store replied with a post of their own on Sunday, insisting the incident wasn’t what it seemed. They began by insisting that the item Clarkson inquired about purchasing was “a one-of-a-kind singing and dancing bird automaton who plays an important role in the magic shows we host here.”
“Molly is permanently attached to the wall and isn’t for sale. However, the negative experience Kelly described on Twitter would resonate with anyone who has ever felt judged in a shop,” the caption said in part.
“Imagine our surprise when our small local business was suddenly attacked by 8 million people who have never visited our store,” they added. “It’s been a surreal experience to be the focus of such widespread outrage after just one mention by a celebrity.”
Previous Instagram posts confirm the item is not for sale, but eagle-eyed critics pointed out that photos of the item show it does have a $15,000 price tag next to it. Fans of the singer flooded the store’s reviews page with one-star ratings, quickly bringing down the star count.
Clarkson responded with yet another post on Sunday night.
“Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with … so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone ‘yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.’”
She continued, “That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar.” The singer explained that while she “obviously” supports small businesses, they “don’t get a free pass to treat people less than.”
“It’s not that hard to be kind,” she concluded. “I never blast people but you my friend were an exception. Your store is really cool. Unfortunately, you aren’t.”
While Rubin has complained about the threats and bad press, there’s no denying that the store has gotten more a lot of publicity from all the drama. Sales have surged and the store is experiencing significantly more foot traffic, as USA Today <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2026/10/13/kelly-clarkson-art-of-play-controversy-store-reaction-molly-bird/92232370007/">reported</a>. Rubin said that Molly the bird is now on sale, but the price tag is  $15 million.

Country singer Kacey Musgraves flexed her liberal bona fides at her Dallas show on Sunday by calling Italian explorer Christopher Columbus a &#8220;loser.&#8221;
Musgraves, who palled around with Democrat Texas Senate candidate James Talarico the night before her rant, railed against Columbus after fans objected to her calling Monday&#8217;s holiday Columbus Day rather than &#8220;Indigenous Peoples Day.&#8221;
“Tomorrow’s Monday? That sucks. Boo,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Oh yeah, it’s a holiday, right? Ew, that’s right, wait, it’s Columbus Day?&#8221;
After the crowd&#8217;s objections, the &#8220;Golden Hour&#8221; singer quickly trashed the trailblazing explorer. &#8220;Yeah, obviously f*ck Columbus,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Literally the lamest person to probably ever exist. Like, for real. What a loser.&#8221;
&#8220;You’re a loser Christopher Columbus,&#8221; she added. &#8220;We hate you.”
The rant went viral online and garnered some critical responses. Former Los Angeles GOP mayoral candidate and &#8220;Hills&#8221; star Spencer Pratt.

The day before her anti-Columbus rant, Musgraves took photos with Talarico, whom she hosted at her show. The PR stunt notably followed a mysterious 12-day hiatus from Talarico during the final stretch of the campaign. His campaign said he had been recovering from the flu.

Musgraves&#8217; anti-Columbus comments and photo-op with Talarico come as no surprise. The singer is hyper liberal and often talks politics. In 2020, she claimed that voting for President Donald Trump while loving an LGBTQ+ person amounted to “an act of violence” against that person.
“If you love an LGBTQ+ person and you’re planning on voting for Donald Trump in November, that’s an act of violence against them,” she wrote on social media.
Musgraves has also advocated for gun control and criticized other Republican leaders.

In a surprise twist, Kid Rock is teaming up with Eminem on his upcoming Christian rock album.
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, discussed the collaboration during an appearance on “My View with Lara Trump,&#8221; per <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/kid-rock-details-unlikely-eminem-collaboration-new-christian-album">Fox News</a>. He said he’s been friends with Eminem (Marshall Mathers) for years and that they refused to allow politics to get in the way of their relationship.
Ritchie is an outspoken conservative, while Mathers is liberal.
&#8220;We said years ago, we said, &#8216;Man, let&#8217;s not let politics divide us.&#8217; And we never did. And so when I asked him to be part of this &#8230; he totally got it,&#8221; Kid Rock said during the interview.
&#8220;Two little foul-mouthed white rappers from Detroit maybe could set a good example for the rest of this country,” he went on.
Ritchie went on to describe Eminem as a &#8220;class act&#8221; and said he respected his friend’s right to have different political opinions from his own.
&#8220;Since when can you not express your points and your views and your opinions?&#8221; Kid Rock said. He also mentioned that art and politics should not mix.
Eminem is featured on the song “7 Sins.” The album includes other contributors such as country artist Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts and Jimmie Allen. It also includes a cover of Lee Greenwood&#8217;s &#8220;God Bless the U.S.A.&#8221;
The “All Summer Long” singer went on to discuss the upcoming album, titled “Halfway 2 Jesus,” and some of the inspiration behind it. &#8220;After Charlie Kirk was assassinated, like a lot of people, I started to become closer to my faith,&#8221; Kid Rock said.
But he’s not saying this is some religious conversion. &#8220;I didn&#8217;t get saved. I&#8217;m still Kid Rock. I&#8217;m still going to drink a beer and smoke a cigar,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I feel like I&#8217;ve always been right with God.&#8221;
&#8220;This record is about second chances and forgiveness. It&#8217;s about trying to heal some of the division in our country,&#8221; Ritchie emphasized. &#8220;I wanted to create the songs that I wanted to go to church and hear. And I want to have revivals, Saturday night revivals in arenas, stadiums, people drinking beer, having a good time, celebrating our Lord and Savior.”
&#8220;I think that could do a lot of good in the world,&#8221; the rock singer concluded.
“Halfway 2 Jesus” will be released on Saturday, October 17.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken to a hospital after suffering a head injury while serving his federal prison sentence.
The 56-year-old rapper was taken from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey by ambulance early Saturday, TMZ <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2026/10/12/diddy-leaves-prison-fort-dix-transported-medical-treatment/">reported</a>. While TMZ said it had not confirmed where he received treatment, a source separately <a href="https://people.com/diddy-rushed-to-hospital-12170489">confirmed</a> to People that he was taken to a hospital. He returned to prison later that day. How he sustained the injury remains unclear.
“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” Combs’ spokesperson Juda Engelmayer said. “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”
This report comes less than two weeks after NBC News reported allegations that the Bad Boy Records founder was receiving special treatment in prison, including enlisting other inmates to cook and clean for him and give him massages.
Sources told NBC that he used contraband phones to access Instagram and view sexually explicit photos sent by a former girlfriend. He also allegedly obtained Remeron, an antidepressant known inside as “rem-roms,” from other inmates.
Sources claimed that guards smuggled Hennessy into the facility on weekends for Combs and a small circle of inmates.
“This is not some normal sh*t you see in jail. This is some rich sh*t,” one source told NBC, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/diddy-living-like-a-king-in-prison-with-massages-smuggled-hennessy-inmates-on-payroll">reported</a>. “It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”
TMZ previously reported that Combs was placed in the prison&#8217;s special housing unit, commonly called solitary confinement, following the allegations.
A jury convicted Combs in July 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, charges that carried a combined maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. He was acquitted of the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Prosecutors sought a sentence of more than 11 years, calling Diddy “unrepentant.” A judge sentenced him last October to 50 months.
Combs is appealing his conviction and sentence, and the Second Circuit heard arguments in April. He also asked President Donald Trump for a pardon in a letter, but Trump said in January that he was not considering it.

Sydney Sweeney just dropped another risqué ad for the sports betting app Novig despite all the backlash she received the first time around.
The 29-year-old “Euphoria” actress posed topless in just a pair of underwear branded with the Novig label for her latest ad campaign. “There are grown men making spreadsheets to bet on what color underwear I’m wearing,” Sweeney says in the video clip. “I mean, I’m flattered?” she went on.
“There’s insider trading on dictators dying and armies of bots manipulating it all,” she continued, referencing real controversies that came up with those other brands. “There’s someone sitting in a bathroom stall betting their 401K on a war. And then, there are people who just trade on sports.”
The original ad for Novig featured Sweeney posing nude with various sports equipment, which inspired a mountain of backlash from professional female athletes who felt betrayed by it, The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/sydney-sweeney-outrage-has-a-pretty-obvious-blind-spot">reported</a>.
Four-time Australian Olympic gold medalist <a href="https://apnews.com/article/sydney-sweeney-ad-novig-02491031050ed505840b8bda8ac2fdb3" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ariarne Titmus</a> posted to Instagram, “I can’t describe how infuriated I feel … How do we live in a world where monetizing a woman’s body and sexualizing women’s sport is still a thing?”
Just after a race, British sprinter <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DdRI7oKCpOH/?img_index=2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amy Hunt</a> told the BBC, “Sydney Sweeney, this is what women in sport look like … muscles, hard work, sweat, blood, tears.”
Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/how-sydney-sweeneys-critics-are-showing-more-than-she-is">responded</a> to the initial controversy, saying the responses demonstrate &#8220;how far the Left has moved.&#8221; He added, &#8220;Now the debate is over whether women exist in humanity and whether there are, in fact, standards of beauty that are clearly applicable.&#8221;
Sweeney didn’t overtly comment on the controversy, but she did share images of female athletes posing nude for ESPN’s “Body Issue” as proof of their hypocrisy.
Many social media users blasted the female athletes who condemned Sweeney, pointing out that Sweeney was posing for a sports betting app with a primarily male demographic. “Sex sells” was the prevailing sentiment from many people, who also argued that women should actually be furious over men trying to invade their sports, not sexy ad campaigns.
They also noted how the female sports universe had much bigger problems than some racy ads.
“Was it necessary? No,” Daily Wire opinion writer Chloe Trapanotto said in a video. “Should children see it? Definitely not. But you know, 30% of men under 30 are watching porn every single day, and a marketer is gonna market, and sex always sells, and it is a sports betting app, and they’re appealing to men.”
“Where have y’all been the last few months?” she added. “I’ve literally had to rename the WNBA to the question mark NBA because that national female sport league can’t define what a woman even is. I mean, to me, the biggest slap in the face is that that league is deriding female athletes for saying the entirely accurate thing that men do not belong in women’s sports.”

Actress Selma Blair was arrested following an altercation with flight attendants on Sunday, <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2026/10/12/selma-blair-arrested-after-attacking-flight-crew/">TMZ reported</a>.
The &#8220;Cruel Intentions&#8221; star is accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another after trying to open the plane&#8217;s door in the middle of the flight. The altercation occurred aboard a Delta Air Lines flight destined for JFK International Airport in New York, according to TMZ.
Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ reveals that the crew requested medical backup for minor injuries including a bloody nose and bite marks. Blair was reportedly uncooperative while being transported to the hospital and was also accused of assaulting a Port Authority police officer and a nurse.
Audio of the Delta crew requesting medical assistance was obtained by <a href="https://x.com/FoxNews/status/2109723848161808894?s=20">Fox News</a>. The dispatch features a crew member saying they need &#8220;medical personnel&#8221; at the gate for flight attendants and a passenger.
When asked how many ambulances were needed, the pilot confirmed that no ambulances were needed, but said two flight attendants were in need of medical personnel. The Port Authority police told the outlet that it was an &#8220;ongoing investigation&#8221; but confirmed that their unit responded to a &#8220;physically abusive&#8221; passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938 which was parked at the gate after arrival from LAX.
&#8220;Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54-year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation. Two flight attendants also reported injuries, and one was transported to the hospital.&#8221;
The “Cruel Intentions” actress has been openly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/selma-blair-said-shes-dying-alive-staying-positive-during-ms-battle">sharing her struggles</a> with living with the degenerative disease multiple sclerosis for years after being diagnosed with the disease in 2018.
Blair has been vocal about her past struggles with alcohol dependency before she received the MS diagnosis. “We have a long time to be dead and I spent so long trying to kill myself, or numb myself, or check out — or figure out how to be alive by being half dead,” she said in the 2021 documentary “Introducing, Selma Blair.”
“And now I just want to help other people feel better,” the actress added.
This is a developing story. More details will be added as they become available.

“Spider-Man” actor Tobey Maguire officiated his ex-wife’s wedding on Saturday, just weeks after their divorce was finalized.
Jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer married Geoffrey Ogunlesi, the son of a Nigerian billionaire, in Hawaii, with Maguire presiding over the ceremony. Meyer and Maguire separated 10 years ago and filed for divorce six years ago, People <a href="https://people.com/tobey-maguire-ex-wife-jennifer-meyer-marries-billionaire-geoffrey-ogunlesi-actor-officiates-8705483">reported</a>.
Meyer and Ogunlesi also welcomed a baby girl earlier this year. Meyer and Maguire were married from 2007 to 2016 and have two children: daughter Ruby Sweetheart, 19, and son Otis Tobias, 17. All the children were present at the wedding ceremony.

The guest list also included many famous faces such as Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez, Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, Rachel Zoe, and Courteney Cox.
Meyer had previously raved about how well her ex-husband and her new man got along.
“We travel all together. We have every holiday together. We have every birthday all together,” the jewelry designer said during an <a href="https://people.com/jennifer-meyer-about-to-welcome-third-baby-exclusive-11968561">interview</a> with People in May. “[Maguire] is an incredible father. He is an incredible ex-husband. And Geoff loves him and he loves Geoff. And so everything just works.”
Social media users had a field day on the unorthodox situation, calling Maguire derogatory names and implying he was only on board so he could be off the hook for alimony payments now that Meyer was married to the son of a billionaire.
“That is weird. Good luck to them though,” one person <a href="https://x.com/Eileen68173251/status/2109437145567887645">wrote</a>.
“I think you lost a bet,” another speculated.
“Plot twist. The new husband is probably the biggest Spider Man fan in the world,” a third person <a href="https://x.com/Fityeth/status/2109409908743675935">joked</a>.
Another famous actor went viral earlier this year for how he and his soon-to-be ex-wife treated their decision to get divorced. In July, Frankie Muniz of “Malcolm in the Middle” fame posted a video of him, his soon-to-be-ex wife, and their son dancing to an upbeat song while announcing their divorce, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hollywood-divorce-has-a-new-look-and-somehow-its-worse-than-ever">reported</a>.
Commenters called the spectacle sad and strange, especially with a small child unknowingly celebrating the demise of his stable home life. Muniz quickly pulled the clip down under an avalanche of backlash.
Muniz&#8217;s almost-ex, Paige Price, shot back at the critics, insisting that two adults who can still function as a team shouldn’t be mocked for their choices.
“Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you. This world is so f*cked … divorce is bad, sure — it’s not like we’re excited about it … but we’re two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can’t believe people could scrutinize that,” Price wrote under the revised version of their divorce announcement.

Kelly Clarkson has been feuding with a Brooklyn game shop after accusing one of its employees of giving her the “Pretty Woman” treatment.
The drama started over the weekend when the original “American Idol” winner posted about the incident on social media in a tweet that has since racked up almost 43 million views.
They began by clarifying that the item Clarkson inquired about purchasing was “a one-of-a-kind singing and dancing bird automaton who plays an important role in the magic shows we host here.”

“Molly is permanently attached to the wall and isn’t for sale. However, the negative experience Kelly described on Twitter would resonate with anyone who has ever felt judged in a shop,” the caption said. &#8220;[W]hether someone comes in to make a purchase or simply look around for a while, they are equally welcome,&#8221; they continued. &#8220;We greet everyone who walks in the door with the invitation to ‘pick things up and play.’ And they do, many stay for hours enjoying our puzzles, games and toys.”
“Imagine our surprise when our small local business was suddenly attacked by 8 million people who have never visited our store,&#8221; they added. &#8220;It’s been a surreal experience to be the focus of such widespread outrage after just one mention by a celebrity. Thanks to all our friends for their support and welcome to all the curious folks who have discovered us amidst the drama. We’re going to keep our heads down and hopefully, we can clear things up with Kelly someday. As a talented popular singer once said ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.&#8217;”
Previous Instagram posts confirm the item is not for sale, but eagle-eyed critics pointed out that photos of the item show it does have a $15,000 price tag next to it. Fans of the singer flooded the store’s reviews page with one-star ratings, quickly bringing down the star count.
Others argue the price is what the store owners paid, not what they would charge for the mechanical bird.
Clarkson responded with yet another post on Sunday night.
“Cool, cool. Sure, it wasn’t for sale. That’s the narrative Art of Play is gonna go with… so the whole conversation we had when I asked you if it was for sale whilst pointing to the price tag hanging on the wall with the title Singing Bird didn’t happen as you elevator eyed me saying in a condescending tone ‘yes, it’s for sale but it costs 15,000 dollars so if you’d like me to find something comparable for you I can.&#8217;”
She continued, “That all never happened and now it’s not for sale. Okay, cool. So you’re not only rude, you’re also a liar.” The singer explained that while she “obviously” supports small businesses, they “don’t get a free pass to treat people less than.” “It’s not that hard to be kind,” she concluded. “I never blast people but you my friend were an exception. Your store is really cool. Unfortunately, you aren’t.”
But that wasn’t the end of it. Reps from the store <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DeYYYVDFBs5/?hl=en">responded</a> yet again, clarifying that the mechanical bird in question is permanently attached to the wall, a “twin” version is available for $15,000, and a similar model is available in the store for $2,000. “She did not stick around long enough to see it,” the post said.
“We’ve reached out to Kelly directly to try and clear the air,” the post says in conclusion. “We really do wish her the best and hope that someday we can all laugh about this misunderstanding.”

Jerry Seinfeld continues to show pro-Palestinian agitators what New York grit looks like.
During his performance at the Chicago Theater last Friday, a screeching activist attempted to hijack the show, screaming from the crowd, “22,000 Palestinians who are children now are killed with our taxpayer money and you’re making jokes?”
Without missing a beat, the sitcom king delivered a masterclass in sarcasm.
“I’m racist. It’s a genocide; I’m into it,” Seinfeld quipped.
As security hauled the unhinged heckler out to the pavement, Seinfeld landed the ultimate knockout blow: “But I’m gonna find out how much your ticket was — and I’m sending it to Israel.”
The legendary comic’s savage Chicago comeback is only the latest moment in a relentless, years-long streak of standing tall for Israel while shutting down anti-Zionist noise.
In June, a clout-chasing streamer cornered Seinfeld outside a New York Knicks game, shoving a phone in his face while demanding, “Can we get a ‘free Palestine?’”
Seinfeld chuckled, looked the streamer dead in the eye, and dropped a truth bomb: “It doesn’t exist.”

The comedian&#8217;s deep ties to the Jewish state go back to his youth, when he volunteered at Kibbutz Sa’ar at age 17 in 1971. Following the horrific October 7, 2023, Hamas terror massacres, Seinfeld didn’t hesitate. He joined over 700 Hollywood stars signing an <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/celebrities-entertainment-executives-sign-open-letter-support-israel-1235617300/">open letter</a> condemning Hamas&#8217;s barbaric acts before flying straight to Tel Aviv on a solidarity mission. He met with grieving hostage families and walked the solemn, devastated grounds of Kibbutz Be’eri and the site of the Supernova Music Festival massacre.
Since then, antisemitic agitators have tried and failed to rattle him.
When protesters <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/seinfeld-drops-the-mic-in-classic-response-to-streamer-demanding-he-say-free-palestine">screamed</a> “Nazi scum” and “genocide supporter” outside his Manhattan appearances, Seinfeld simply smiled and waved. When dozens of anti-Israel students staged a dramatic walkout during his May 2024 Duke University commencement address, Seinfeld didn&#8217;t sweat it. Taking the podium to cheers from the remaining crowd, he joked, “A lot of you are thinking, ‘I can’t believe they invited this guy.’ Too late.”
By late 2025, Seinfeld had stopped pulling punches entirely. He <a href="https://dukechronicle.com/article/duke-university-jerry-seinfeld-calls-free-palestine-antisemetic-compares-it-to-ku-klux-klan-20250910">called out</a> “Free Palestine” rhetoric at a campus event by comparing its masked euphemisms to the Ku Klux Klan, pointing out the KKK was at least honest about its hatred.
Down under in Australia, when another heckler tried interrupting his stand-up set, Seinfeld <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2025/sep/10/jerry-seinfeld-palestine-comments#:~:text=A%20month%20later%2C%20roughly%20100,his%20speech%20despite%20the%20interruptions.">dismantled</a> the protester with ease.
“We have a genius, ladies and gentlemen. He’s solved the Middle East!” Seinfeld mocked. “I think you need to go back and tell whoever is running your organization, ‘We just gave more money to a Jew.’ That cannot be a good plan for you.”
The anti-Israel mob keeps coming for the king of comedy, but Seinfeld keeps turning their outrage into pure gold.

Expect an abundance of lectures this Oscar season.
From “Musk,” a three-plus-hour attack on the Tesla gazillionaire, to Tom Cruise’s Climate Change-obsessed “Digger,” Hollywood will roll out its favorite far-left TED Talks.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
And then there’s “Fjord.”
The Norwegian drama, in select theaters now before its October 23 expansion, doesn’t follow the Hollywood playbook. At times, it’s a course correction that will shock viewers.
The film follows a deeply religious Romanian family as they settle into their new Norwegian home. Mihai and Lisbet Gheorghiu (Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve) live a simple life with their five children.
They’re kind, giving, and make fast friends with their new neighbors. Their Christian faith rubs a few locals the wrong way, but otherwise their transition appears seamless.
Until one of their children shows up to school with visible bruises. School authorities assume the worst, and the family’s nightmare begins. The children are taken from the couple — including their breast-feeding infant — and their religious lifestyle comes under the microscope.
“Fjord” has earned high praise from most critics, including an early Rotten Tomatoes score of <a href="https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/fjord">91% “Fresh.”</a> The film even snagged the top prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. What sets “Fjord” apart from recent Hollywood movies?
Balance. Nuance. Perspective.
Romanian writer-director Cristian Mungiu takes a subtle approach to the hot-button material. His perspective is clear, though. The film depicts a nanny state that should strike fear in the hearts of many, especially Democrats who think the Democratic Socialists of America has the solutions to America’s woes.
“If you don’t do what they want, they ‘civilize’ you,” one character in the film warns about the Norwegian authorities. Another chilling theme? Educators who assume they know better than parents what children need.
Audiences may connect that with harrowing stories of teachers hiding a student’s “new” gender from his or her parents.
Mungiu previously excoriated Communism with his 2007 film “4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days.” That film sported a somewhat pro-choice narrative but captured the cruel life under a Communist Romanian regime. It, too, won the Palme d&#8217;Or.
The director hails from a formerly Communist nation, and he has the cinematic scars to prove it. He’s not afraid to bring hard conversations to the screen, but <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/cristian-mungiu-fjord-sebastian-stan-renate-reinsve-film-1236604118/">he’s also no fan of recent “message” movies</a>:
<blockquote>
I think that films became too political in the last 10 or 15 years, always confirming the “right values.” We need to balance this with films that allow us to express doubts about the values of the day. This is part of democracy and freedom that we need to keep alive as well.
</blockquote>
His leading man shared some unexpected views during the film’s press tour. He recently appeared on the far-Left “Daily Show.” Host Michael Kosta pressed Stan on the film’s perceived “conservative” bias. The “Avengers: Endgame” alum didn’t deny it:
<blockquote>
I think that is a pretty fair assessment, but that should not necessarily cancel out the issues that this family is facing or that the feelings that they have and the desire that they have to raise the kids in the best way they can. I think there&#8217;s probably always, right, on either side there needs to be an opening of the door, you know, for a sort of more of a back and forth to happen. But I mean — this is one thing. Like, when did conservative become so wrong?
</blockquote>
Has he been paying attention to the messaging coming from his Hollywood peers over the last decade?
For context, Stan has also taken an active part in that messaging. He earned a Best Actor nomination for playing a young Donald Trump in 2024’s “The Apprentice.” The star used that film’s press rollout <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/sebastian-stan-donald-trump-the-apprentice-ali-abbasi-uk-jeremy-strong-1236032483/?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter">to excoriate President Trump</a> and flesh out his liberal bona fides.
<blockquote>
If you have any inkling of interest, go and really ask yourself: “Who is this man? Do you really know? Do you really trust this person to lead a country?” He’s been trying to censor this movie, and at the same time, he claims that he acknowledges free speech … I can’t think of anything more hypocritical. So at the end of the day, it’s about him as a character. Forget the politics and just go in there and use your instinct and ask yourself: Do you trust this man? That’s what the movie is about.
</blockquote>
President Trump had threatened to sue the team behind “The Apprentice” for several egregious scenes he says were false, including an insinuation that he raped his former wife, Ivana Trump.
Earlier this year, Stan indirectly <a href="https://ew.com/sebastian-stan-on-donald-trump-s-presidency-2-years-after-apprentice-premiere-11978341">slammed President Trump</a> anew during a press exchange:
<blockquote>
When you&#8217;re looking at what&#8217;s happening, which is the consolidation of the media, censorship, the threats, the supposed lawsuits that seemingly never end, but don&#8217;t actually go anywhere, you know, the writing was on the wall.
</blockquote>
So Stan’s recent comments are both surprising and welcome. That also captures the arguments fleshed out in “Fjord,” a rare example of true Hollywood diversity.
Diversity of thought, that is.
