<p>Daily Wire host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/the-matt-walsh-show">Matt Walsh</a> suggested that Boston Children’s Hospital “stop hurting kids” if it wants angry emails and phone calls to go away after the children’s medical center <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/boston-childrens-hospital-offering-gender-affirming-hysterectomies-to-kids-who-cant-even-drink-legally">posted a video</a> promoting <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/transgender-surgery">hysterectomies</a> for girls who want to transition out of a female body.</p>
<p>In the <a href="https://twitter.com/libsoftiktok/status/1557775959217950725?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1557775959217950725%7Ctwgr%5E05b3062bd6459dca516597ad148526114875ed52%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailywire.com%2Fnews%2Fboston-childrens-hospital-offering-gender-affirming-hysterectomies-to-kids-who-cant-even-drink-legally">video</a>, Pediatric Gynecologist Frances Grimstad, MD, MS — who specializes in transgender reproductive health at Boston Children’s Hospital — explained what a “gender-affirming hysterectomy” entailed. The video quickly spread on Twitter as many people were outraged that a children’s hospital would promote irreversible procedures that render the patient unable to bear children.</p>
<p>According to a <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/boston-childrens-hospital-warns-employees-far-right-online-harassment-rcna43376">report</a> from NBC News, backlash to the video led Boston Children’s Hospital to send an email to employees, warning them about “harassing emails including threats of violence toward our clinicians and staff.”</p>
<p>Walsh discussed the NBC report and the alleged threats made against the hospital on “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/ep-1003-the-lgbt-cult-recruits-the-dead-2">The Matt Walsh Show</a>” Wednesday, and then made a suggestion to those who work at the hospital.</p>
<p>&#8220;If you&#8217;re at Boston Children&#8217;s Hospital or if you work at a gender affirming clinic anywhere in the country, and you&#8217;re worried that people are going to start sending you angry emails and calling you out on social media and everything else, here&#8217;s the good news: There&#8217;s a real easy solution, and that is to stop doing that to the kids, stop hurting kids, and this problem for you goes away,&#8221; Walsh said.</p>
<p>The NBC report claimed that the alleged threats made to Boston Children’s Hospital were more examples of increasing “anti-LGBTQ sentiment” targeted at people and institutions that encourage children to change genders. The legacy media outlet also pinned blame on “far-right activists” for targeting the children’s hospital with “false claims” about transgender procedures.</p>
<p>Walsh said that the alleged “threats” that the hospital says it received really means there is “an avalanche of angry emails and calls from people who are disgusted by what they’re doing to children.”</p>
<p>The Daily Wire host then refuted the idea that the backlash to Boston Children’s Hospital was the real issue at stake, as the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2022/08/17/boston-childrens-hospital-transgender-treatment/">legacy media claims</a>. Walsh pointed to the fact that the hospital faced backlash after posting a video about hysterectomies as a “sign of societal health.”</p>
<p>“In a healthy society, when kids are being drugged and mutilated and castrated and sterilized, the people that are doing this are going to hear about it, and they’re going to be subject, at a minimum, to enormous anger from the public,” Walsh remarked.</p>
