<p>Prosecutors plan to issue a subpoena later this month to the Palm Beach, Florida, pharmacy used by Tiger Woods as they seek more information on the medications prescribed to the legendary golfer and whether they included any warnings about driving.</p>
<p>Prosecutors in Martin County, Florida, said in a court filing that they will issue a subpoena to Lewis Pharmacy on April 22 as they seek to find out if the drugs included a warning about “operating a motor vehicle while taking the prescription,” The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/04/08/sports/florida-prosecutors-subpoena-tiger-woods-for-all-medication-records-in-dui-case/">reported</a>. Two hydrocodone pills were found on Woods when he was arrested after crashing into a truck and trailer in South Florida in late March. He was subsequently charged with DUI and property damage.</p>
<p>The subpoena will seek records on Woods&#8217; medication from January 1 to March 27, the date of the crash. Prosecutors are seeking information on the “date and time prescription was filled, type of prescription, number of pills in each prescription, the dosage amount, and all special instructions,” according to the Post. The golfer&#8217;s defense team has 10 days to object to the subpoena.</p>
<p>A breathalyzer test showed no alcohol in Woods&#8217; system, but a deputy described him as “lethargic and slow,” with “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and “extremely dilated” pupils, according to the arrest affidavit.</p>
<p>“So at this time, I do believe your normal faculties are impaired,” one of the deputies told Woods as she placed handcuffs on him, bodycam footage shows. “And you’re under the unknown substance, so at this time, you’re under arrest for DUI.”</p>
<p>Woods clipped the trailer of a truck as he attempted to pass it, flipping his SUV in a residential area in Jupiter, Florida. The golfing legend told deputies that he was distracted and had looked down at his phone before the crash. Woods also told deputies that he takes &#8220;a few&#8221; prescription medications.</p>
<p>Hydrocodone, which is typically taken to treat severe pain, is classified as a Schedule II controlled substance by the U.S. government. The drug is considered to be among “some of the most addictive and potentially dangerous prescription medications available.” Hydrocodone is also among the drugs that the Food and Drug Administration <a href="https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/some-medicines-and-driving-dont-mix#:~:text=Some%20medicines%20that%20could%20make%20driving%20dangerous,anxiety%20*%20Sleeping%20pills%20*%20Some%20antidepressants">warns</a> &#8220;could make driving dangerous.&#8221;</p>
<p>Woods has dealt with severe back injuries throughout his career and was involved in a serious single car crash in Los Angeles in 2021. Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge and one count of refusing to submit to a lawful test after he told deputies he would not go along with a urine test.</p>
<p>Woods said last week that he is “stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.”</p>

The son of one of the top spokeswomen for Iran&#8217;s propaganda machine is also living in the United States and is working as an adjunct associate professor at The Chicago School in Los Angeles, The New York Post reported. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/his-mother-raised-him-on-irans-regime-propaganda-now-hes-teaching-your-kids">Eissa Hashemi</a>, 43, is the son of the former Iranian vice president for Women and Family Affairs Masoumeh Ebtekar, who was better known as “Screaming Mary.”</p>
<p>Ebtekar was the leading spokeswoman for the Iranian radicals who took 66 American hostages in 1979. Hashemi has lived in the United States since 2010 and has never publicly denounced his mother&#8217;s actions.</p>
<p>Last September, the Trump administration deported at least 55 Iranians back to their home country, which sparked fear among many in the Iranian diaspora who had fled the country to escape persecution under the radical Islamic regime. As many as 400 Iranians in America were expected to be sent back to Iran last year.</p>

<p>A suspected gang member in the country illegally was shot by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in California after he attempted to use his vehicle to run over the federal officers on Tuesday, according to ICE Director Todd Lyons.</p>
<p>ICE officers stopped a vehicle near Interstate 5 in Patterson, California, to arrest Carlos Ivan Mendoza Hernandez, an 18th Street Gang member who was wanted for questioning related to a murder in El Salvador. As the federal agents approached, Hernandez &#8220;weaponized his vehicle in attempt to run an officer over,&#8221; Lyons said.</p>
<p>The ICE agents responded by firing defensive shots, striking Hernandez, who was hospitalized. Hernandez&#8217;s condition was unclear as of Tuesday afternoon, and it appears that no federal agents were injured.</p>
<p>&#8220;Following their training, our officers fired defensive shots to protect themselves, their fellow agents, and the public,&#8221; Lyons said.</p>
<p>The 18th Street Gang is one of the largest gangs in Los Angeles and has many members from Mexico and Central America.</p>
<p>Footage from the aftermath of the shooting captured by KCRA Channel 3 Sacramento showed multiple vehicles under an interstate overpass as authorities assessed the scene. The FBI&#8217;s office in Sacramento said it sent agents to the scene following the shooting.</p>

Newsom has claimed that state and local authorities cooperate with ICE and hand over illegal immigrants who have been convicted of state crimes, but California law severely limits cooperation between local law enforcement and federal immigration agents.</p>
<p>The Stanislaus County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said that none of its deputies were involved in the traffic stop or ensuing shooting in Patterson on Tuesday.</p>
<p>ICE agents have faced a massive increase in threats and violence directed toward them in recent months, including a 3,300% spike in vehicular attacks in the past year, <a href="https://www.dhs.gov/news/2026/02/03/dhs-law-enforcement-experienced-more-180-vehicle-attacks-president-trump-took#:~:text=This%20is%20a%203%2C300%25%20increase,increase%20against%20CBP%20law%20enforcement.">according</a> to the Department of Homeland Security.</p>

<p>A one-million-square-foot warehouse in Southern California went up in flames early Tuesday morning in what authorities believe was an arson attack.</p>
<p>The warehouse in Ontario, California, about 40 miles east of Los Angeles, belonged to personal care company Kimberly-Clark and was completely destroyed in the blaze. Around 20 people were inside when the fire first began around 12:30 a.m., but there have been no reported injuries.</p>
<p>One person has been arrested on suspicion of arson, according to officials.</p>
<p>Authorities released drone footage showing the scale of the fire.</p>

<p>The first fire crew responded within eight minutes of the initial call and found &#8220;light smoke throughout the structure and what they believed was a small fire being contained by the operating fire protection system or sprinkler system,&#8221; according to Ontario Deputy Fire Chief Mike Wedell. As firefighters worked to douse the flames inside the warehouse, they were &#8220;quickly overrun by fire that rapidly spread throughout this enormous warehouse,&#8221; Wedell said.</p>
<p>Fire crews entered the building after a warehouse worker was initially reported missing during the evacuation. The missing employee was eventually located, officials said. Ontario police identified the suspected arsonist as a male Kimberly-Clark employee, though it remains unclear whether he was the individual initially reported missing.</p>
<p>Some people near the warehouse said they heard a loud boom shortly before the fire broke out, ABC 7 Los Angeles <a href="https://abc7.com/post/massive-fire-tears-warehouse-ontario/18851549/">reported</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;Very early on, we identified this fire as suspicious in nature,&#8221; Wedell told reporters, adding, &#8220;There was a person of interest identified from the very initial response of this incident.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kimberly-Clark specializes in producing hygiene paper products, including toilet paper, facial tissues, baby wipes, and feminine hygiene products.</p>
<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s a large fire load of paper products inside of this building,&#8221; the deputy fire chief added. Fire crews will remain on the scene throughout Tuesday as they continue to extinguish the blaze.</p>

<p>Gates is scheduled to appear before the committee for a transcribed interview on June 10, according to multiple reports. The GOP-led committee sent a letter to Gates on March 3, asking him to meet with lawmakers for an interview.</p>
<p>&#8220;While he never witnessed or participated in any of Epstein&#8217;s illegal conduct, he is looking forward to answering all the committee&#8217;s questions to support their important work,&#8221; a Gates spokesman <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bill-gates-jeffrey-epstein-house-oversight-committee/">said</a> on Tuesday.</p>
<p>Gates developed a relationship with Epstein beginning in 2011, three years after Epstein pled guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution. Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) wrote in a letter to Gates that the committee believes the tech billionaire has &#8220;information that will assist in its investigation.&#8221;</p>

<p>One of the emails appears to be a draft of a resignation letter from Gates’ former science adviser, Boris Nikolic, that Epstein sent to himself. In the email, the writer admits to “facilitating … illegal trysts, with married women” and helping Gates “get drugs, in order to deal with the consequences of sex with russian [sic] girls.” Another email states that Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease from the affairs with Russian women and alleged that he intended to &#8220;surreptitiously&#8221; slip antibiotics to his then-wife, Melinda Gates.</p>
<p>Gates has vehemently denied those allegations and said that Epstein sought to &#8220;entrap and defame&#8221; him because he was frustrated that Gates broke off their relationship. Bill and Melinda Gates divorced in 2021, a process that began shortly after reports of Bill’s close relationship with Epstein began circulating in 2019.</p>
<p>“To give her credit, she was always kind of skeptical about the Epstein thing,” Gates said of his ex-wife during his apologetic remarks to staff in February.</p>
<p>Gates told his foundation employees that the two Russian women with whom he had affairs were not victims of Epstein’s sex-trafficking scheme. The Russian bridge player with whom Gates had sexual relations was in her 20s when she met the Microsoft co-founder. She also met Epstein in 2013, and Epstein reportedly paid for the woman to attend school for a software coding course. In 2017, Epstein asked Gates to reimburse him for the college course.</p>
<p>“I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit,” Gates told his staff, adding, “To be clear I never spent any time with victims, the women around [Epstein].”</p>
<p>Gates has not been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein&#8217;s sex crimes.</p>
<p>The House Oversight Committee has already questioned former President Bill Clinton, who flew on Epstein&#8217;s infamous jet numerous times, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over their connection to Epstein. The committee is also set to grill U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on May 6. Lutnick was once Epstein&#8217;s neighbor in New York City, and he visited Epstein on his private Caribbean island with his family in late 2012.</p>

<p>President Donald Trump ripped podcast host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday after Carlson accused him of proposing a war crime in his warning to Iran and urged American military members to refuse the president&#8217;s orders.</p>
<p>In an episode posted Monday afternoon, Carlson suggested Trump was considering using a weapon of mass destruction &#8220;on the population of Iran&#8221; and encouraged administration officials and service members to push back. Trump responded by dismissing his former ally in remarks to <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/04/07/us-news/trump-tears-into-tucker-carlson-over-iran-war-claims/">The New York Post</a>.</p>
<p>“Tucker’s a low-IQ person that has absolutely no idea what’s going on,” Trump said. “He calls me all the time; I don’t respond to his calls. I don’t deal with him. I like dealing with smart people, not fools.”</p>
<p>Carlson&#8217;s criticism centered on Trump&#8217;s profanity-laced Easter Sunday <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-issues-the-most-blistering-ultimatum-to-iran-in-history">message</a> to Iran, in which the president warned that U.S. forces would destroy Iran&#8217;s bridges and power plants if the regime did not &#8220;open the f*ckin&#8217; Strait [of Hormuz].&#8221;</p>
<p>Calling Trump&#8217;s comments &#8220;vile on every level,&#8221; Carlson argued they amounted to a &#8220;promise to use the U.S. military, our military, to destroy civilian infrastructure in another country,&#8221; which he claimed would constitute a war crime.</p>
<p>&#8220;If you work in the White House, or in the U.S. military, now is the time to say, &#8216;No, absolutely not.&#8217; And say it directly to the president, &#8216;No,'&#8221; Carlson said. &#8220;In case you&#8217;re thinking about using some weapon of mass destruction against the population of Iran &#8230; those people who are in direct contact with the president need to say, &#8216;No, I&#8217;ll resign. I&#8217;ll do whatever I can do legally to stop this because this is insane. And if given the order, I&#8217;m not carrying it out. Figure out the codes on the football yourself.'&#8221;</p>
<p>Carlson&#8217;s message mirrors calls made by some Democratic lawmakers late last year for military members to refuse &#8220;illegal orders&#8221; as U.S. forces conducted deadly strikes on alleged narcoterrorists in the Caribbean and Pacific.</p>
<p>The president&#8217;s fiery response to Carlson on Tuesday marks the latest escalation in a growing rift between Trump and Carlson. The two were still meeting as recently as January, but relations have deteriorated following American military action against Iran.</p>
<p>Carlson has since sharply criticized Trump&#8217;s Iran operation, calling it &#8220;absolutely disgusting and evil&#8221; and accusing the president of doing the bidding of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.</p>
<p>Trump, for his part, has dismissed Carlson in recent weeks.</p>
<p>“Tucker has lost his way,” Trump said in an interview with ABC News reporter Jon Karl in March. “He’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”</p>
<p>On Tuesday morning, ahead of his 8 p.m. ET deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, Trump warned of catastrophic consequences.</p>

<p>President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order to reshape college sports, targeting what the White House described as &#8220;an out-of-control financial arms race&#8221; driven by Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rules.</p>
<p>Trump&#8217;s <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2026/04/urgent-national-action-to-save-college-sports/">order,</a> signed last week, places new limits on eligibility and transfers, allowing collegiate athletes five years of eligibility and restricting most to one transfer, with an additional transfer permitted after earning a four-year degree. The order seeks to &#8220;ensure that the transfer window does not incentivize interference with athletic seasons or the academic year, or otherwise undermine the integrity of participation and competition in college athletics.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Fair competition cannot occur without a consistent set of rules concerning pay-for-play or player eligibility that cannot be endlessly relitigated in court,&#8221; Trump&#8217;s order states.</p>
<p>The policy is set to take effect on August 1 and threatens to withhold federal funding from universities that do not comply.</p>
<p>The order follows a series of court rulings, including a Supreme Court decision, that weakened the NCAA&#8217;s ability to restrict athletes&#8217; compensation, fueling the rapid expansion of NIL deals and a more fluid transfer portal. Under the current NIL system, athletes can move freely between programs while negotiating compensation.</p>
<p>The shift has increased financial pressure on universities, which the order says is &#8220;driving universities into debt, threatening to siphon resources from other sports, and damaging student-athletes’ educational and graduation opportunities.&#8221;</p>
<p>Trump&#8217;s order also prohibits professional athletes from returning to collegiate competition, closing a loophole that allowed some players who had played professionally in Europe or in the NBA&#8217;s G League to join college teams.</p>
<p>The White House argues that the current system is straining universities and could jeopardize non-revenue sports.</p>
<p>&#8220;Absent a comprehensive national solution, therefore, the escalating financial demands to succeed in football and basketball combined with the significantly loosened rules governing eligibility, transfers, and pay-for-play schemes may force curtailment of women’s and Olympics sports, and may even jeopardize the overall financial well-being of universities with which the Federal Government has important financial relationships,&#8221; the order continues.</p>
<p>College sports fans and many coaches have criticized the apparent lack of structure for the transfer portal after the introduction of NIL. Since college football and basketball players have begun receiving compensation, with some athletes negotiating massive contracts, many fans argue that major college sports have turned into semi-professional leagues.</p>
<p>Coaches, meanwhile, have complained that NIL paired with a wide-open transfer portal hurts player and program development. With college athletes now eligible to sign contracts, players effectively become free agents immediately after the season as they or their agents shop for more favorable contracts.</p>
<p>The order, which will likely face a flurry of lawsuits, urges Congress to codify the president&#8217;s policies into law and protect college sports in the long term. Courts have consistently ruled in favor of athletes on NIL matters, making it nearly impossible for the NCAA to impose restrictions on transfers and eligibility.</p>
<p>The &#8220;Power 4&#8221; college sports conferences lauded Trump&#8217;s action last week and renewed their calls for Congress to pass legislation addressing the issue. A piece of legislation, called the SCORE Act, was introduced in the House last summer to address some of the issues around NIL and college athlete eligibility. The bill has bipartisan support but faces scrutiny from lawmakers and has stalled in committee.</p>
<p>Hall-of-fame former Alabama football coach Nick Saban also praised Trump for leading the effort to enact &#8220;regulation that would help us manage and fund all sports, so that we can continue to create opportunities for young people.&#8221;</p>
<p>Former University of Michigan quarterback David Cone, the co-host of On3&#8217;s sports talk show &#8220;Crain &amp; Cone,&#8221; told The Daily Wire that Congress ultimately needs to act for anything to change with the current college sports structure, otherwise Trump&#8217;s order could be overturned by the courts. Still, he added that he&#8217;s skeptical Congress will take up the issue anytime soon.</p>
<p>&#8220;I haven&#8217;t seen anything from Congress over the last few years that tells me they&#8217;re all going to get their act together and, pun intended, pass one of these acts. I think this was a great showing by President Trump to attempt to solve some of the problems that will ultimately end up going nowhere.&#8221;</p>

<p>President Donald Trump said Monday that a &#8220;sick person&#8221; leaked information about the downed U.S. fighter jet to media outlets and threatened jail time for reporters if they don&#8217;t reveal the leaker&#8217;s identity.</p>
<p>Trump said the U.S. mission to rescue one of the American airmen who went down in Iran was placed &#8220;at great risk&#8221; because of the leak and the ensuing media reports. The Iranian regime placed a bounty on the missing U.S. F-15 fighter weapons systems officer, who was forced to hide in a mountain crevice for nearly two days as armed Iranians searched for the American.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re looking very hard to find that leaker,&#8221; Trump told reporters in the White House briefing room, adding, &#8220;Whoever it was, we think we&#8217;ll be able to find it out because we&#8217;re going to go to the media company that released it and we&#8217;re going to say, &#8216;National security, give it up or go to jail.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Some things you can&#8217;t do because when they did that, all of a sudden, the entire country of Iran knew that there was a pilot that was somewhere on their land that was fighting for his life,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;And it also made it much more difficult for the pilots and for the people going in to search for him.&#8221;</p>

<p>Trump did not say to which outlet the administration believes the leaker sent the sensitive information. CBS News, The New York Times and CNN were among the first outlets to report that one of the two U.S. pilots was rescued while a search and rescue operation had begun for the missing pilot. CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/american-fighter-jet-f15e-downed-over-iran/">cited</a> &#8220;two U.S. officials&#8221; in its report on the missing airman. The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/04/04/world/iran-war-trump-news/what-us-military-pilots-are-trained-to-do-when-they-are-shot-down?smid=url-share">cited</a> &#8220;U.S. and Israeli&#8221; officials, and CNN cited three &#8220;U.S. sources&#8221; in its initial <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/2026/04/03/world/live-news/iran-war-us-trump-oil?post-id=cmnj11n1j00053b6uvve7kv9x">report</a> on the missing pilot.</p>
<p>Journalists who publish sensitive or even classified information are protected in many states and in Washington, D.C., under shield laws, provided they obtained the material without coercion and did not ask anyone to break the law. However, there are no federal protections for publishing classified information.</p>
<p>The Trump administration has sought to crack down on leakers within the federal government and prevent reporters from publishing classified information. The Justice Department was recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/federal-judge-blocks-doj-from-searching-washington-post-reporters-devices-in-classified-docs-probe">blocked</a> by a federal judge from searching the devices of a Washington Post reporter as federal investigators looked into a government contractor who was accused of leaking classified government materials.</p>
<p>The second airman, who was badly injured, was rescued early on Sunday as U.S. forces carried out a dangerous mission inside Iran. <p>The Trump administration arrested the president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, the Department of Homeland Security said on Thursday, describing the man as a Jordanian terrorist.</p>
<p>Salah Sarsour, who has lived in the United States for over 30 years, was convicted in Israel as a teenager after throwing molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli soldiers. He has also been <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2017/01/21/womens-march-organizer-recently-met-ex-hamas-operative-has-family-ties-to-terror-group/">accused</a> of helping raise money for Hamas in the 1990s. Sarsour was issued a green card under former President Bill Clinton after lying on his immigration application, Homeland Security said.</p>
<p>Sarsour has been the president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee for the past five years. The society is the largest Islamic group in Wisconsin, The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/02/us/ice-milwaukee-muslim-leader-arrest.html">reported</a>. He is also a board member of the American Muslims for Palestine, a group that has faced <a href="https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/news/releases/attorney-general-ken-paxton-files-legal-brief-against-american-muslims-palestine-and-other-radical">scrutiny</a> over alleged links to Hamas and its support for intifada in the wake of Hamas&#8217; October 7, 2023, terrorist attack on Israel.</p>

<p>The Trump administration posted the description and photo of Sarsour on social media in response to Wisconsin Democratic Governor Tony Evers criticizing the administration over Sarsour&#8217;s arrest.</p>
<p>&#8220;Targeting people because of their beliefs or background is wrong,&#8221; Evers said. &#8220;This is clearly about sowing division and fear and doesn&#8217;t help make Wisconsin safer. I’m thinking of Mr. Sarsour&#8217;s family in this difficult time, and I join [Rep. Gwen Moore]<br />
in calling for his immediate release.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sarsour&#8217;s attorney said the Milwaukee Muslim leader received deportation papers from the Trump administration, which said that the State Department determined Sarsour &#8220;poses an adverse consequence to foreign policy considerations.&#8221; The man&#8217;s attorneys argued that the Trump administration is only targeting Sarsour because of his anti-Israel views, adding that Sarsour has no criminal record in the United States.</p>
<p>Hundreds of Muslims gathered for a rally at the Islamic Society of Milwaukee&#8217;s Salam School gym following the arrest of Sarsour, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel <a href="https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/local/milwaukee/2026/04/02/islamic-society-of-milwaukee-president-salah-sarsour-detained-by-ice/89433525007/">reported</a>. Othman Atta, the executive director of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee mosque told the crowd, &#8220;They want to criminalize advocacy for Palestine. That is the only reason that he is being targeted. There is nothing else.&#8221;</p>
<p>Secretary of State Marco Rubio has vowed to strip the legal status of immigrants found to be &#8220;Hamas supporters.&#8221; Last year, the Trump administration <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/federal-court-rules-against-mahmoud-khalils-release-from-ice-detention">arrested</a> pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil, who led anti-Israel and anti-America demonstrations at Columbia University after the October 7 attack. <p>A U.S. fighter jet was shot down while flying over Iran on Friday, and the U.S. military has launched a major search and rescue operation.</p>
<p>U.S. officials confirmed that an aircraft was shot down over Iran and that a search and rescue operation had begun, according to multiple reports. The confirmation came after Iranian state media said early Friday morning that Iran&#8217;s Revolutionary Guard Corps shot down a U.S. F-15 fighter jet over the Southern Tehran Province. The regime-controlled media also published photos online appearing to show parts of a jet.</p>
<p>Israeli journalist Amit Segal reported that the United States has <a href="https://x.com/AmitSegal/status/2040047638737809804">activated</a> &#8220;large forces&#8221; as part of a search and rescue operation. According to multiple reports, at least one of the two American pilots has been rescued. The F-15E jet that was shot down is a two-seat fighter that can carry air-to-surface weapons.</p>
<p>President Donald Trump was briefed on the ongoing situation, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told The Daily Wire Friday morning.</p>
<p>The Daily Wire also reached out to the War Department and Central Command, seeking comment on the reports of the downed U.S. fighter jet.</p>
<p>An Iranian state broadcaster told residents of the province to capture the “enemy’s pilot or pilots” and hand them over to Iranian forces for a reward, The New York Times <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/04/03/world/iran-war-trump-oil/f5b5f502-dd94-5c6f-ab83-df7ae611df5e?smid=url-share">reported</a>.</p>
<p>CENTCOM has recently refuted multiple claims that Iran&#8217;s Revolutionary Guard Corps shot down U.S. aircraft. On Thursday, CENTCOM said the Iranian forces have made false claims about shooting down U.S. aircraft &#8220;at least half a dozen times.&#8221; As of Friday afternoon, however, CENTCOM has not addressed the latest reports of an F-15 fighter jet being shot down over the Southern Tehran Province.</p>
<p>If reports are confirmed that Iran was responsible for shooting down the F-15, it would mark the first time a U.S. fighter jet was shot down Iranian forces since President Donald Trump launched &#8220;Operation Epic Fury.&#8221;</p>

One Crew Member Rescued From Downed F-15, Search For Second Ongoing

<p>The vice mayor of Coral Springs, Florida, was found dead at her home on Wednesday morning, and authorities later arrested her husband and charged him with premeditated murder.</p>
<p>Nancy Metayer Bowen, 38, was discovered by police officers conducting a wellness check at around 10:00 a.m., according to authorities.</p>
<p>Her husband, 40-year-old Stephen Bowen, was later arrested at an apartment complex in Plantation, Florida, about 13 miles south of Coral Springs. He faces charges of premeditated murder and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, NBC Miami <a href="https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/husband-coral-springs-vice-mayor-accused-premeditated-murder-tampering-evidence-video/3789941/">reported</a>.</p>
<p>Coral Springs Police Chief Brad Mock said the case &#8220;is being investigated as a domestic violence incident,&#8221; but declined to reveal additional details as the investigation remains ongoing. According to Stephen Bowen&#8217;s arrest report, the suspect told his uncle that he shot Metayer Bowen “three times with a shotgun the previous night and then slept downstairs,&#8221; Miami outlet WPLG Local 10 reported.</p>
<p>Police said they found Metayer Bowen&#8217;s body on the second floor of her home lying in a bed and wrapped in blankets and garbage bags. Police also said they found three shotgun shells and burn marks on a pillow “as if it were fashioned as a makeshift silencer.”</p>
<p>“When asked why (he killed her), Stephen Bowen said that he ‘couldn’t take it anymore,’” the arrest report added. The suspect&#8217;s mother told police that she did not know of any marital issues between the couple, according to the report.</p>
<p>Stephen Bowen is being held in jail without bond in Broward County.</p>
<p>&#8220;To say today is a very dark day for us in Coral Springs is an understatement,&#8221; City Manager Catherine Givens <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbvY2LRqMao">said</a> at the press conference. &#8220;Our hearts are truly broken.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to <a href="https://floridapolitics.com/archives/788468-nancy-metayer-bowen-coral-springs-vice-mayor-killed-in-shooting-husband-in-custody/">Florida Politics</a>, a friend attempted to call Metayer Bowen on Wednesday morning but was unable to reach her. After speaking with her husband, who reportedly “sounded suspicious,” the friend contacted the police. Authorities later used license plate readers to track down Stephen Bowen in Plantation, where he was detained by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.</p>
<p>Metayer Bowen, a Haitian American, was first elected to the city commission in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. Last November, she was tapped to serve a second term as vice mayor. She was seen as a rising star within the Democratic Party in South Florida. Metayer Bowen received a master’s degree in environmental health sciences and interned for the Obama administration, former Florida Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.</p>
<p>During the 2024 presidential campaign, she served as the Caribbean vote director for former President Joe Biden and later for former Vice President Kamala Harris. Last March, Metayer Bowen was tapped by the Florida Democratic Party to serve as its vice chair of Haitian American Voter Engagement.</p>
<p>&#8220;She had such a good heart, truly cared about people. Even when people were saying some of the most horrible things about her,&#8221; City Commissioner Joshua Simmons said.</p>
<p>Metayer Bowen&#8217;s family released a statement Wednesday evening confirming the politician&#8217;s tragic death.</p>
<p>&#8220;Throughout her years in public office, she led with integrity, compassion, and an unwavering sense of purpose,&#8221; the family said. &#8220;She believed in bringing people together, listening to those she served, and working tirelessly to create positive change in her community. To us, she was a source of strength, wisdom, and love — someone who always put others before herself.&#8221;</p>

<p>Body-cam and vehicle footage released by the Martin County, Florida, Sheriff&#8217;s Office on Thursday shows the aftermath of Tiger Woods&#8217; rollover crash last week as Woods gets searched and undergoes a sobriety test.</p>
<p>In the body-cam video, Woods is seen kneeling on the side of the road while speaking to a sheriff&#8217;s deputy a few feet away from his wrecked Range Rover. Woods told a sheriff&#8217;s deputy, &#8220;I looked down at my phone and all of a sudden, boom.&#8221;</p>
<p>The deputy then patted down the legendary golfer and told him a medic would come over to check him out.</p>
<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s okay. I just checked for anything on his back. I didn&#8217;t feel anything,&#8221; the deputy told a colleague before he walked over to the truck and trailer that Woods had hit.</p>

<p>Later, footage shows deputies conducting a field sobriety test on Woods before they search his pockets and find two pills in his pocket.</p>
<p>&#8220;Oh, that&#8217;s a narco,&#8221; Woods said after the deputy pulled the pills from his pocket. According to the arrest affidavit, the pills were hydrocodone, an opioid used to treat severe and long-lasting pain.</p>

<p>Woods was arrested and charged with DUI with property damage. A breathalyzer test showed no alcohol in his system, but a deputy described Woods as “lethargic and slow,” with “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and “extremely dilated” pupils, according to the arrest affidavit.</p>
<p>&#8220;So at this time, I do believe your normal faculties are impaired,&#8221; one of the deputies told Woods as she placed handcuffs on him. &#8220;And you&#8217;re under the unknown substance, so at this time, you&#8217;re under arrest for DUI.&#8221;</p>
<p>The body-cam footage also shows the deputy talking to the driver of the truck involved in the wreck. The truck driver told the deputy that he was stopped in the road and about to turn into a driveway when Woods plowed into the trailer. It appears that one of the trailer&#8217;s tires was damaged in the collision.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m fine. It hit the trailer,&#8221; the truck driver said. &#8220;I&#8217;m not sure if I&#8217;m going to be able to drive it out of here.&#8221;</p>
<p>The sheriff&#8217;s office also released <a href="https://www.tcpalm.com/videos/news/2026/04/02/watch-tiger-woods-bodycam-footage/89433940007/">footage</a> of inside the sheriff&#8217;s vehicle as Woods is hauled off to jail.</p>
<p>Woods refused to comply with a urine test, which resulted in an additional charge of refusal to submit to a lawful test, according to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek.</p>
<p>Woods has dealt with significant injuries throughout his career, including multiple back surgeries and serious leg injuries from a 2021 car crash in Los Angeles. He told authorities that he takes “a few” prescription medications, but said that he was distracted by his phone and radio before the crash.</p>
<p>Earlier this week, Woods entered a plea deal in the DUI case, and a judge granted his request to travel outside of the United States after the golfer&#8217;s attorney cited his need to get into an &#8220;intensive, highly individualized and medically integrated program.&#8221; Woods <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tiger-woods-breaks-silence-after-dui-arrest-pga-tour-also-issues-statement">said</a> on Tuesday that he would be &#8220;stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.&#8221;</p>
