Jamie Foxx Seen Over The Weekend For First Time Since Health Emergency Scare
Actor Jamie Foxx was seen multiple times over the weekend, his first public appearances after he experienced a “medical complication” in April.
The 55-year-old star was first spotted at a Topgolf driving range in Naperville, Illinois, on Saturday night, per TMZ. Witnesses said Foxx appeared to have a strong golf swing.
Then, the Academy Award winner was seen on Sunday pumping his fist in the air and waving to fans while aboard a boat in the Chicago area, per a video shared by TMZ. Fans have been worried about the actor’s condition ever since the medical incident earlier this spring.
Foxx also updated his Twitter with a post that said, “Boat life…Celebrating summer with [brownsugarbbn] Stay blessed!”
The actor’s rep previously denied reports that Foxx’s medical issues were the result of getting a COVID booster shot, calling the allegations “completely inaccurate.”

Foxx has not provided any updates on his health since he was first hospitalized, but some of his Hollywood friends have been sharing information periodically.
“One thing I’ve always respected about how Jamie’s moved throughout his entire career, if you’ve noticed, he’s always been somebody who is extremely professional and extremely private,” Nick Cannon said in June.

“I mean, you don’t ever really hear anything other than just the great work that he puts forth as a professional and the fact that, you know, he’s handled this situation with the same manner, you only can respect that,” he added. “I believe when he’s ready, he’s going to address the awaiting fans in the world [about his health scare] the way that only he can.”
“I’m probably in the same boat as you in that same sense of just knowing that, you know, as a friend, just being as respectful as I can, I don’t pry,” Cannon continued. “I don’t ask any other questions. And other than the information that’s given to me and, you know, what’s asked of me.”
The actor was admitted to the hospital April 12 for an unknown condition. His daughter Corrine announced the news in a now-deleted Instagram post. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she said.
