<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nick-cannon-gives-fans-update-on-jamie-foxx-after-pal-was-hospitalized-for-medical-complications" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nick Cannon</a> said his friend <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/actor-jamie-foxx-hospitalized-due-to-medical-complication" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jamie Foxx</a> will address fans&#8217; concerns about his mysterious health scare when &#8220;he&#8217;s ready&#8221; after the actor was hospitalized on April 12 for &#8220;medical complications.&#8221;</p>
<p>The 42-year-old rapper/TV host told Billy Bush he didn&#8217;t want to speak out about Foxx&#8217;s health before the family did, <a href="https://extratv.com/2023/06/01/nick-cannon-talks-jamie-foxx-and-taking-over-as-host-of-beat-shazam-exclusive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Extra</a> reported in a Thursday article.</p>
<p>&#8220;One thing I&#8217;ve always respected about how Jamie&#8217;s moved throughout his entire career, if you&#8217;ve noticed, he&#8217;s always been somebody who is extremely professional and extremely private,&#8221; Cannon said.</p>

<p>&#8220;I mean, you don&#8217;t ever really hear anything other than just the great work that he puts forth as a professional and the fact that, you know, he&#8217;s handled this situation with the same manner, you only can respect that,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I believe when he&#8217;s ready, he&#8217;s going to address the awaiting fans in the world [about his health scare] the way that only he can.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m probably in the same boat as you in that same sense of just knowing that, you know, as a friend, just being as respectful as I can, I don&#8217;t pry,&#8221; Cannon continued. &#8220;I don&#8217;t ask any other questions. And other than the information that&#8217;s given to me and, you know, what&#8217;s asked of me.&#8221;</p>
<p>Cannon also said &#8220;the information [Foxx&#8217;s family has put out is what] they want to be out there.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;I was definitely one of those people initially with like the heavy-handed prayers… sending positive energy, love, and prayers,&#8221; the TV personality said. &#8220;And they were like, &#8216;Yo, we appreciate all of that, but we got it.&#8217; And, you know, Jamie&#8217;s happy with the job that I did on &#8216;Beat Shazam.'&#8221;</p>
<p>Foxx finally broke his silence three weeks after his family confirmed he had been hospitalized for what they called &#8220;medical complications.&#8221; In the 55-year-old actor&#8217;s post on Instagram, he didn&#8217;t address his current condition or the cause of his hospital stay.</p>
<p>However, he did share a message of praise to all who have been praying for him.</p>
<p>&#8220;Appreciate all the love!!!&#8221; Foxx&#8217;s <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CrysCZmPXWq/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post</a> read. &#8220;Feeling blessed.&#8221; He has not made any other posts on his social media since May 3.</p>
<p>On April 12, the actor was admitted to the hospital for an undisclosed condition. At the time, the news was confirmed by Foxx&#8217;s daughter on Instagram.</p>
<p>In actress Corinne Foxx&#8217;s since-deleted post, she wrote, &#8220;From the Foxx Family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,&#8221; as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/actor-jamie-foxx-hospitalized-due-to-medical-complication" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,&#8221; she added. &#8220;We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.&#8221;</p>
