Freshman Tennessee Republican Rep. Andy Ogles filed articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden over his alleged “illicit family business dealings and exploitation of taxpayer resources.”
Ogles, who represents Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District, also filed articles of impeachment against Vice President Kamala Harris, saying that she, too, had failed to uphold her oath of office in regard to securing the southern border.
“Joe Biden hasn’t just failed the American people with his abysmal excuse for ‘leadership’ – he’s violated his sworn oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Joe Biden has repeatedly abused his position of power, both as vice president and president, to cover up his illicit family business dealings and exploitation of taxpayer resources,” Ogles said in a statement given to WKRN News 2.
Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have refused to protect and defend the Constitution.
They have mired their office in criminal activity and political weaponization.

Ogles said that he was moving to impeach Biden because the Department of Justice would not take action against the president’s family.
“The American people know they can’t depend on the so-called ‘Department of Justice’ to investigate the Biden family’s corruption, and so it’s up to the U.S. Congress to hold him accountable once and for all,” he said. “Joe Biden is a disgrace to the Oval Office and should be stripped of his position and held responsible for his high crimes against the United States.”

The first article in the impeachment resolution accuses Biden of weaponizing the executive branch to shield his family from scrutiny over their business dealings. The second article takes aim at Biden over his handling of the border crisis and the record number of foreign nationals who have crossed into the U.S. during his tenure.
Ogles, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, also moved to impeach Harris, who he described as Biden’s “accomplice.”
“She has allowed the land invasion at our southern border to continue unchecked, threatening the livelihoods of millions and the lives of thousands who have been murdered at the hands of illegal aliens and died from illicit fentanyl,” he said.
Ogles’ resolution comes as Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that an FBI informant claims a foreign national has more than a dozen audio recordings of conversations with Biden and his son, Hunter, related to an alleged $5 million bribery scheme involving Ukraine.
