Comedian Bill Maher scorched Democrats — former Vice President Kamala Harris chief among them — for ignoring and even mocking the idea of patriotism until they needed to win elections.
Maher, during his Friday broadcast of HBO&#8217;s &#8220;Real Time,&#8221; scolded Democrats who were refusing to celebrate the United States as it passed it&#8217;s 250th anniversary, arguing that they were only making themselves look petty and small in their efforts to attack President Donald Trump.

&#8220;This is about America. He isn’t America. He’s a temporary caretaker of America, America’s employee. And the message should be that America isn’t actually his and that no one’s side gets to own being psyched about the country,&#8221; Maher argued.

Maher went on to argue that a lot of the dire events Democrats had predicted had failed to materialize — not the least of which being their fear that Trump would barricade himself in the White House and refuse to leave after losing in 2020 — before he turned on the former vice president.
Jabbing at Harris&#8217;s 2024 call for Democrats to &#8220;take back the flag,&#8221; he pointed out that eleventh-hour conversions would never be convincing.

Harris, during her speech, claimed that the &#8220;pride of being an American&#8221; was truly the &#8220;greatest privilege&#8221; anyone could even experience — but Maher was not buying it.
&#8220;The message that most threatens authoritarians isn’t America sucks. It’s America is ours too. Every election year, Democrats seem to remember patriotism for about an hour at their convention when they’re trying to win back swing voters. The whole message of Kamala’s speech in 2024 was take back the flag. That’s why she talked about America like a pageant contestant,&#8221; Maher said. &#8220;Hard to believe she lost, huh? Well, you can’t take back the flag in an hour if the rest of the time you treat patriotism as something vaguely embarrassing.&#8221;

Former Vice President Kamala Harris provided her own peculiar definition of hope, adding to a growing list of rambling and confusing responses from the 2026 presidential candidate.
&#8220;I really, truly believe this. We each have light inside of us,” Harris <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtCee1K0kh4">told</a> former CNN anchor and podcast host Don Lemon on Friday. “And we need to know that that is what inspires our hope as much as anything external to ourselves.&#8221; 
The former vice president’s attempt to inspire Lemon’s audience when confronted by challenges and failures seemingly fell flat, if not face-first. 
Harris was not finished, though. 

&#8220;And when we feel that and not allow an election or an individual to dampen that light, and instead light, let that light kind of carry us in particular through moments of darkness, that we not only act on that hope, but we inspire that hope in each other,&#8221; she added. 
Harris has quite the word salad catalog. When asked why the Biden administration didn’t release the Epstein files in 2025, Harris <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-serves-up-word-salad-when-asked-about-epstein-files-during-jimmy-kimmel-appearance">offered</a> late-night host Jimmy Kimmel the following response: 

“To give you an answer that will not satisfy your curiosity, I will tell you, perhaps to our damage, um, but we strongly and rightly believed that there should be an absolute separation between what we wanted as an administration and what the Department of Justice did. We absolutely adhered to that, and it was right to do that.” 
“The Justice Department would make its decisions independent of any political or personal, uh, vendetta or concern that we may have and that’s the way it worked,” she finished, before Kimmel was forced to cut to commercial. 
In 2024, the then-presidential candidate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-serves-up-a-fresh-word-salad-about-democracy">offered</a> the following bit of insight on the nature of democracy:
“Our election is about understanding the importance of this beautiful country of ours in terms of what we stand for around the globe as a democracy,” Harris said. “As a democracy,” she repeated, “we know there’s a duality to the nature of democracy. On the one hand, incredible strength when it is intact.”
In her most recent interview, Lemon asked Harris if she planned to run for president in 2028. In classic Harris fashion, she offered the following answer: 

&#8220;I’ve been spending a lot of time traveling the country [and] listening to folks,&#8221; she replied. &#8220;I think that people want a leader who is willing to take risks, as opposed to just doing what is popular. I think people want to know that they are being seen and heard, and that their leaders — whether they’re at the local, state, federal level or in the White House — are looking first at the people. You know, not looking at themselves in the mirror.&#8221;

Despite Republican inroads with working-class voters, major union leaders across the country continue their top-dollar spending almost exclusively backing Democrats in ways that are out of step with many of their more MAGA-minded members. 
A new <a href="https://www.scribd.com/document/1049015205/International-Brotherhood-of-Electrical-Workers-IBEW-AAF-MAGA-Membership-Union-Leadership-Misalignment-Report?_gl=1*kjoj68*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTAxNjcwOTU1Ni4xNzgxMDE2OTk4*_ga_Z4ZC50DED6*czE3ODEwMTY5OTckbzEkZzEkdDE3ODEwMTcwMDEkajU2JGwwJGgw*_ga_8KZ8BV0P5W*czE3ODEwMTY5OTckbzEkZzEkdDE3ODEwMTcwMDEkajU2JGwwJGgw">report</a> from the American Accountability Foundation obtained by The Daily Wire found that the majority of political committee spending from 2017 to 2024 by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers benefited Democrats. The watchdog organization found that the nation’s largest electrical worker union uses its funds for partisan spending, six-figure salaries, and golf outings. 
“While the broad support for the Trump-Vance agenda by industrial union members has been widely reported on, news of this nearly decade old re-alignment has apparently yet to reach the leadership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) union whose dues-paying members repeatedly cast ballots for President Trump,” the report said. 
The report comes as some elected Republicans have <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/republicans-latest-pro-union-move-has-some-conservatives-sounding-the-alarm?author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=8&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Republicans%E2%80%99+Latest+Pro-Union+Move+Has+Some+Conservatives+Sounding+The+Alarm">adopted</a> more pro-union rhetoric and positions. One pro-union bill set to soon get a vote in the House would allow either side in a labor dispute to bring in federal negotiators after 90 days, which is expected to be more advantageous to unions. 
The watchdog said that the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, which represents some 887,000 electricians, has “a love of partisan political activism and wasteful spending that is disconnected from the views and lifestyles of most of its rank and file members.”
Union President Kenneth Cooper has <a href="https://x.com/KennethWCooper2/status/1347124874163183620">called</a> Trump one of the “worst” presidents in American history and <a href="https://x.com/KennethWCooper2/status/1329750586196193281">accused</a> Trump of “killing America” over his claims of election fraud during the 2020 election. 
Examining the spending reports required for labor unions, the American Accountability Foundation found that the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers spent $222,000 on political spending between 2017 and 2024, giving to Democratic Party groups while none went to Republican groups during the same time frame. 
Spending on party committees follows a similar pattern. The report found that about 98% of the $11,188,454 given to party committees went to Democrat organizations. When looking at candidate contributions, roughly 87% went to Democratic candidates. 
“When the dollars are aggregated, the imbalance is not marginal,” the report found. “It is structural.”

On an individual level, high-level officials with the union also contribute their funds to Democrat candidates. Ricky Oakland, the chief of staff at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers national headquarters, <a href="https://www.fec.gov/data/receipts/individual-contributions/?contributor_name=Ricky+Oakland">gave</a> $155 to Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue earmarked for the Kamala Harris campaign in the closing months of the 2024 election. 
The spending disparity should come as no surprise when looking at the union’s endorsement track record. In 2024, IBEW <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C9uwzrruBXc/">backed</a> then-Vice President Kamala Harris claiming that she has “listened to us, and we stand confident that she will continue this administration’s extraordinary pro-worker record.”
Throughout the campaign, the union <a href="https://x.com/IBEW/status/1851639011128869103">mobilized</a> for Harris and <a href="https://x.com/IBEW/status/1853798521972891659">issued</a> several calls to action leading up to and on Election Day for its members to vote for the Democratic ticket. Before the election, IBEW Secretary-Treasurer Paul Noble joined the liberal panic about “Project 2025” and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C_Lqk8rPwsB/">claimed</a> that electing Trump would be a “direct threat” to “progress” made by the union. 
After the election, the union has publicly attacked Trump&#8217;s economic policies on <a href="https://x.com/IBEW/status/1978105884950548654">energy,</a> including the administration&#8217;s pivot from so-called green energy sources.
At the same time, the union has continued to support Democrats. It announced that it was endorsing Democrat Sherrod Brown’s campaign against incumbent Republican Senator Jon Husted of Ohio. The IBEW <a href="https://x.com/IBEW/status/1957408941027016936">described</a> Brown as “one of the closest friends Labor and the working families of Ohio have ever had.”
Charlyce Bozzello, communications director at the Center for Union Facts, said that a massive divide existed between union members and their leaders.
“The divide between the interests of rank-and-file workers and the agenda of union bosses has never been more apparent,” she told The Daily Wire. “Members deserve to know when their dues are funding bloated executive salaries and partisan political advocacy rather than advancing priorities that actually matter to workers.&#8221;
The American Accountability Foundation flagged other expenses it found through a review of spending records. 
“While IBEW funds should be invested in improving their members&#8217; lives and careers, they are instead wasted on unnecessary items and events,” the report found. “IBEW’s use of funds includes extravagant spending on swag, events, and a shocking amount [of] golf.”
A review of union spending records filed with the Department of Labor found over $1.5 million spent on golf-related expenses between 2017 and 2024 by the union and its offshoots. 
At the same time that the union spends big money on golf and other entertainment expenses, a major salary discrepancy exists between the average electrician represented by the union and those at the top of the union. 
While Cooper <a href="https://unionfacts.com/union/International_Brotherhood_of_Electrical_Workers/leadership/KENNETH/COOPER/">earned</a> a gross salary $1,135,609 in 2025, the average salary of a union electrician is $83,000. Union leadership salaries across the board come in higher as well — a review by the American Accountability Foundation found that 30% of the union’s national headquarters staff make more than $200,000, and 78% make over $100,000.

If Jill Biden&#8217;s new memoir is to be believed, Kamala Harris wasn&#8217;t exactly interested in waiting for Joe Biden to figure that out.
A newly released excerpt from the former first lady&#8217;s upcoming book, &#8220;View from the East Wing,&#8221; reveals what Jill Biden says happened behind closed doors on the day former President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign. And let&#8217;s just say she doesn&#8217;t make Harris look particularly patient.
According to Jill Biden, Harris was shocked when the former president informed her on July 21, 2024, that he was dropping out of the race.
“Oh my God, Joe. Are you sure?” Harris reportedly asked.
Reasonable question.
What came next is what has people talking.
According to the memoir, Biden suggested waiting until the following morning before formally endorsing Harris as his replacement. Harris allegedly had other ideas.
“I want it sooner,” she reportedly replied.
Biden then told Harris he would call her back after he had time to sort things out.
That still wasn&#8217;t fast enough.
“Could you do it soon? Say, in 20 minutes?” Harris allegedly pressed.
At that point, according to Jill Biden, she walked out of the room.
The story is already fueling fresh speculation about the relationship between Harris and the Biden family, which was never exactly warm and fuzzy to begin with.
Long before Harris became vice president, she made headlines during the 2019 Democratic primary by attacking Biden over his past positions on school busing. The exchange became one of the defining moments of the campaign and reportedly left a lasting impression on the Biden family.
Jill Biden certainly didn&#8217;t forget it.
After the debate, she publicly defended her husband and later reportedly questioned why Harris needed to be chosen as his running mate in the first place.
Now, nearly two years after Democrats were forced into a historic last-minute candidate swap, Jill Biden is offering her version of how the handoff unfolded.
And her version reads less like a smooth transition and more like a vice president who saw an opening and wanted the paperwork signed immediately.
The timing of the memoir is also noteworthy.
Jill Biden has spent the past week defending another controversial claim from the book tour, saying she believed her husband might have been suffering a stroke during his disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump.
That explanation generated immediate backlash because neither Jill Biden nor anyone else appeared to treat the moment like a medical emergency. Instead, Biden continued campaigning, attended public events, and even appeared at a rally afterward while Democrats insisted he had merely suffered through a bad debate night.
Now Jill Biden is reopening another chapter of the 2024 campaign collapse.
This one comes with a simple question.
When Joe Biden&#8217;s presidency was ending, was Kamala Harris waiting for permission?
Or was she already asking how quickly she could take over?

WASHINGTON — Former Vice President Kamala Harris removed a historic bust of Christopher Columbus from her office while she served under Joe Biden&#8217;s administration. Under Vice President JD Vance, The Daily Wire has learned, the bust has since been brought back.
“Restoring this piece of history to the Vice President’s office is one of many actions taken by the Trump Administration to honor Christopher Columbus’s contribution to Western exploration,&#8221; a spokesperson for the vice president told The Daily Wire.
&#8220;Unlike Kamala Harris, Vice President Vance is committed to respecting our national heritage and restoring our monuments.”
Members of the USS Montgomery removed the Christopher Columbus bust from the Spanish fleet in 1898 during the Spanish-American War and gifted it to the Secretary of the Navy, a source familiar with the matter shared with The Daily Wire.

The bust remained on display in the Secretary of the Navy&#8217;s office through 1921, when the office was converted into the Army Chief of Staff&#8217;s office and later became the Vice President&#8217;s Ceremonial Office. That office has been occupied by a vice president since Lyndon B. Johnson.
Harris, who <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/editorials/3190286/what-voters-learned-about-each-party-on-columbus-day/">supported efforts to replace Columbus Day</a> with &#8220;Indigenous Peoples&#8217; Day,&#8221; had the bust removed and moved to an unknown location, the source familiar said.
“Since 1934, every October, the United States has recognized the voyage of the European explorers who first landed on the shores of the Americas. Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation for tribal nations — perpetrating violence, stealing land, and spreading disease,&#8221; she said in 2021.
&#8220;We must not shy away from this shameful past, and we must shed light on it and do everything we can to address the impact of the past on Native communities today.”
A spokesperson for Harris did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
News of the bust&#8217;s reinstatement comes amid a strong push by President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration to celebrate Columbus, who famously explored the Americas. Democrat lawmakers and leftist activists have demeaned Columbus in recent years, displacing Columbus Day and accusing him of genocide against Native Americans.
Trump has pushed back with aggressive pro-Columbus messaging, leaning into memes from the acclaimed television series &#8220;The Sopranos,&#8221; in which fictional mafia boss Tony Soprano warns his son: &#8220;In this house, Christopher Columbus is a hero.&#8221;
&#8220;I’m bringing Columbus Day back from the ashes,&#8221; Trump said in an April 2025 Truth Social post. &#8220;The Democrats did everything possible to destroy Christopher Columbus, his reputation, and all of the Italians that love him so much.&#8221;

Six years after vandals toppled a Baltimore-based statue of Columbus and tossed it into the city&#8217;s inner harbor, Trump <a href="https://www.wmar2news.com/news/region/baltimore-city/columbus-statue-once-tossed-into-baltimores-inner-harbor-resurfaces-at-white-house#google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="noopener">had the statue restored</a> and placed in the White House&#8217;s &#8220;Garden of Heroes.&#8221; The president <a href="https://x.com/Interior/status/2060054931097199067?s=20">also led the charge</a> in restoring the Columbus Circle fountain at Union Station in Washington, D.C.
Vance himself has slammed Indigenous Peoples&#8217; Day as a &#8220;fake holiday&#8221; and praised Columbus for using &#8220;technology developed in Europe to sail across a giant ocean and discover a new continent.&#8221;
“&#8217;Indigenous Peoples’ Day&#8217; is a fake holiday created to sow division,” Vance wrote on social media in 2021. “Of course, Joe Biden is the first president to pay it any attention.”
The vice president and his wife lived in Columbus, Ohio, for a time, and Vance attended The Ohio State University there. According to photos shared with The Daily Wire, the vice president also recently added a model of the USS Ohio to the Ceremonial Office, in addition to the bust.

During the debate, Jill Biden frequently stumbled through his answers and struggled to appear coherent. At the time, his wife said that he did a “great job,” &#8220;answered every question,” and “knew all the facts.” 
Yet in a viral clip from her interview with CBS News, she claimed to have a very different reaction. 
“I was frightened,” she said. “I had never, ever seen Joe like that before or since. When I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”
Trump added that Jill Biden should have mentioned how well he performed during the debate. 
“The only thing she failed to mention was how well I was doing prior to his near total collapse. In other words, as many have asked, did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple ‘choke,’ leading to his ignominious defeat, or were other reasons the cause? Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!” Trump said. 
Biden has received backlash from both Democrats and Republicans for her claims, with many commentators accusing her of lying. 
Pressure quickly mounted on Biden after the debate. He ended his campaign soon after, paving the way for former Vice President Kamala Harris to quickly lock up the Democrat nomination without any major opposition.

The release of the long-awaited 2024 election autopsy report threw Democrats into a nosedive on Thursday, with liberals questioning the veracity of the document and calling on the DNC&#8217;s top official to resign.  
Buried inside the report were some brutal admissions about former Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic brand, and the party’s growing disconnect from average Americans. &#8220;We either adapt to the changing conditions of the arena, or history will leave us behind,” the report stated. 
Notably, the autopsy made no mention of former President Joe Biden&#8217;s advanced age or the lingering distrust voters felt following his disastrous debate performance. Plus, the document repeatedly undercuts itself in real time with editor notes and annotations like “No evidence provided,” “Analysis not supported,” and “Contradicts public reporting.”

&#8220;When I received the report late last year, it wasn&#8217;t ready for primetime — not even close — and because no source material was provided, it would have meant starting over. I could not in good faith put the DNC&#8217;s stamp of approval on the report that was produced,&#8221; Martin said. &#8220;After last November&#8217;s massive Democratic wins, I didn&#8217;t want to create a distraction, but by not putting the report out, I ended up creating an even bigger distraction.&#8221; 
Tommy Vietor, the liberal cohost of &#8220;Pod Save America,&#8221; said Martin&#8217;s handling of the ordeal &#8220;raises more questions about his judgment, candor, and ability to lead the DNC.&#8221;

Democrats finally released their long-awaited 2024 election autopsy — and it reads less like a postmortem on President Donald Trump and more like a realization that voters may simply not like them anymore.
Buried inside the 192-page report are some brutal admissions about former Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic brand, and the party’s growing disconnect from average Americans.
&#8220;The sad truth is Democrats have lost ground at every level from inconsistent messaging and improper planning, even as the policies the Party advances continue to earn voter support at the ballot box,&#8221; <a href="https://democrats.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/May-20-2026.pdf">the report said</a>.
The document repeatedly suggests Democrats leaned way too heavily on “Trump bad” messaging while failing to give voters a compelling reason to vote for Harris. One especially rough section says Harris struggled to define herself beyond “not Trump” and “prosecutor vs. felon,&#8221; putting blame on the Biden White House.
&#8220;The national campaign did not effectively drive Trump’s negatives, and the White House did not effectively support Vice President Harris over three and [a] half years to improve her standing before the candidate switch,&#8221; the report said. &#8220;The idea Trump’s negatives were &#8216;baked in&#8217; is a major failure of analysis and reality&#8230;&#8221; 
The autopsy also openly acknowledges that Harris had a significant issue with male voters.
One section, titled “The Male Voter Problem,” points out that down-ballot Democrats consistently outperformed Harris with men. North Carolina Democrat Josh Stein, for example, won 51% of male voters while Harris managed just 40%.
And it gets worse.
The autopsy admits Harris struggled badly with young men, Latino men, irregular voters, rural voters, and working-class Americans. At one point, the report flatly says Democrats suffered from a “persistent inability or unwillingness to listen to all voters.” Another section warns that millions of Americans “do not see themselves reflected in the America of the Democratic Party.”
There are also some surprisingly direct shots at identity politics.
One passage praises candidates who focused “less on abstract issues and identity politics” and more on public safety, affordability, housing, and the economy.
The report found that the Trump attack ads were highly effective, particularly the “Kamala is for they/them” spot, with Democratic pollsters noting the campaign was effectively boxed in by footage of her own remarks showing Harris out of touch with voters focused on their pocketbooks.

DNC Chair Ken Martin defended releasing the report after delaying it for months, telling CNN: “After last November’s massive Democratic wins, I didn’t want to create a distraction, but by not putting the report out, I ended up creating an even bigger distraction.”
With nationwide redistricting underway, the report fired bleak warning shots for Democrats as more Americans continue fleeing blue states and voting with their feet.
&#8220;The future could become even more difficult. Demographic and population projections indicate an accelerating population shift away from traditionally Democratic states,&#8221; the report found. 
&#8220;With radical midterm redistricting efforts underway, the writing is on the wall, and the call is coming from inside the House. We either adapt to the changing conditions of the arena, or history will leave us behind.&#8221;

Georgia voters on Tuesday rejected two state Supreme Court justice candidates backed and funded by Democrats, including former President Barack Obama and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Incumbent conservative justices Sarah Warren and Charles Bethel, both appointed to Georgia’s top court by Republican Gov. Nathan Deal, defeated liberal former state Sen. Jen Jordan and attorney Miracle Rankin. 
The nonpartisan races drew outsized attention as Democrats nationwide sought to flip the seats in a blue-leaning electorate and reshape Georgia’s high court ahead of looming redistricting and abortion battles

In Warren’s race, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/us/elections/results-georgia-supreme-court-justice-warren-seat.html">the results reflected a blowout</a>, with the Republican-appointed justice winning nearly 60% of the statewide vote, including a chunk of the black vote, and carrying all but three counties.
&#8220;Sarah Hawkins Warren is pulling out legitimately insane numbers for a Republican,&#8221; Ryan Girdusky, a conservative political consultant, <a href="https://x.com/RyanGirdusky/status/2056892399788445899?s=20">said on X</a>. 
Zachary Donnini, head of data science at Vote Hub, said Warren&#8217;s victory likely preserves Georgia&#8217;s conservative court majority through 2030.

In Charles Bethel’s race, the result was closer but produced a similar outcome, with the Republican-appointed incumbent defeating Obama-backed Miracle Rankin <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2026/us/elections/results-georgia-supreme-court-justice-bethel-seat.html">with 51% of the vote.</a>

With the 2026 midterm elections fast approaching, Democrats are still at odds over whether to go public with the party&#8217;s internal post-mortem on the 2024 election.
Democrats in Congress, many of whom are up for reelection, appear to favor releasing the information — as does former Vice President Kamala Harris, who lost spectacularly to Donald Trump after being thrust into the nomination when then-President Joe Biden bowed out with just over 100 days to go.
The Democratic National Committee has opted not to release the report, prompting some skepticism from within the ranks.
DNC Chair Ken Martin referred to the 2024 autopsy as a &#8220;distraction,&#8221; saying in mid-December that the party should be fully focused on winning the 2026 midterms.
&#8220;Here&#8217;s our North Star: Does this help us win? If the answer is no, it&#8217;s a distraction from the core mission,&#8221; he said <a href="https://www.axios.com/2025/12/19/dnc-2024-election-autopsy-backlash">at the time</a> — and he&#8217;s been facing criticism ever since over the decision to keep the post-mortem, for lack of a better expression, buried.
But the autopsy, which reads a bit like a military after-action report, as it breaks down what went right and what went wrong in any given election cycle, is supposed to be a tool that can help current and future campaigns avoid the mistakes and capitalize on the positives from past campaigns.
&#8220;Why haven’t we put it out?&#8221; Rep. Glenn Ivey (D-MD) asked before answering his own question. &#8220;Because we got our butts kicked. I think it’s going to be embarrassing, apparently, to some people.&#8221;
Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) argued that the report was being scuttled in order to hide mistakes, saying, &#8220;They don’t want people to know the truth. They messed up. They didn’t listen to their Democratic base.&#8221;
Jeff Weaver, who served as campaign manager for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in 2016, suggested that the move might be an attempt to set the stage for Harris to run again in 2028: &#8220;Kamala Harris certainly benefits from not having an open discussion.&#8221;
Others have also argued that Harris stands to benefit the most if the autopsy never sees the light of day, primarily because it could help her avoid renewed scrutiny of any mistakes she may have made during her abbreviated campaign. The DNC also stands to benefit from no one looking too closely at how, without a single primary vote, Harris was crowned the de facto nominee after Biden&#8217;s abrupt exit.
But Harris herself, according to a <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/dems-demand-release-hidden-dnc-autopsy-2024-collapse-got-butts-kicked?lid=mj809drs5uvi">report</a> from Fox News Digital, has signaled support for the post-mortem&#8217;s publication.
&#8220;I’ve said they should release it, and there’s no question,&#8221; Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) agreed. &#8220;The report got done. I think it’s good to always review why things were successful or not.&#8221;
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) was slightly more diplomatic in his approach, saying that he had no idea why the full report was still under wraps — and what&#8217;s more, he couldn&#8217;t speak to whether or not the DNC should release it.

Democrats At Each Other’s Throats Again Over Infamous 2024 Autopsy

Somebody needs to remind former Vice President Kamala Harris of her own wisdom: &#8220;Do you think you just fell out of a coconut tree? You exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you.&#8221; Because it seems she has forgotten that context entirely.
Harris may have lost both the Electoral College and the popular vote, performed horrendously in every swing state, and campaigned with all the intellectual rigor of a drunken stupor — but a woman of her talents refuses to sit idle. She&#8217;s already back at it, hosting &#8220;bad ideas only brainstorms&#8221; on the &#8220;Win With Black Women&#8221; podcast.
Not to be confused with their adversarial counterpart, &#8220;Losing With Annoying Women,&#8221; otherwise known as The View.
On Thursday&#8217;s <a href="https://x.com/i/status/2055057833628971435">episode</a>, Harris literally hosted, in her own words, a &#8220;no bad ideas brainstorm,&#8221; in which every single idea was a steaming pile of constitutional malpractice designed to rig the system, because her party cannot win fair and square.
Her three &#8220;novel&#8221; proposals, which have been trotted out by every radical Democrat in the country already, were to abolish the Electoral College, expand the Supreme Court, and grant statehood to Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, all to &#8220;fight fire with fire&#8221; and &#8220;neutralize these red states from cheating.&#8221;
I laughed, but the frightening reality is that many people think this sounds not just fine, but necessary. A righteous effort to wrest power from the evil, fascist, bigoted, racist Republicans. It is not normal. It is dangerous and historically illiterate.
The Electoral College was clearly not covered properly in grade school or at university, because many self-described &#8220;educated Democrats&#8221; — <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tim-walz-calls-for-the-electoral-college-to-be-abolished-we-need-a-national-popular-vote?utm_source=facebook&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=benshapiro">including</a> Minnesota Governor Tim Walz — don&#8217;t seem to understand the purpose of it at all. The Founders established it to protect smaller states from being dominated by high-population urban centers. By having electors meet in their respective states to vote on behalf of their people, the mechanism ensures the president is elected by a coalition of states, keeping this a federalist republic.
We are a republic, not a pure democracy, precisely so California and New York cannot steamroll Wyoming and North Dakota every four years. Without it, tyrannical majorities and wannabe presidents like Harris and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would barnstorm Los Angeles, Chicago, and the Acela Corridor while ignoring the rest of the map.
Clinton thought she didn&#8217;t have to campaign in Wisconsin. She <a href="https://www.archives.gov/electoral-college/2016">lost</a> 10 electoral votes because of it. Harris thought she could win Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin with a coastal, big-city progressive playbook and lost every single one of them because of it. The problem is not the system. The problem is that they cannot sell their agenda to enough states.
Can you imagine if President Donald Trump said he would abolish the Electoral College? The media moguls would have shaved their heads in anti-authoritarian solidarity within minutes.
Then Harris confirmed her IQ is somewhere south of room temperature when she expressed her desire to expand the Supreme Court — aka: Court-packing. A similar authoritarian power grab was <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judicial_Procedures_Reform_Bill_of_1937">attempted</a> by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1930s, and even his own party rejected the banana-republic scheme.
The Court has nine justices because Congress set it that way in <a href="https://www.britannica.com/story/why-are-there-nine-justices-on-the-us-supreme-court">1869</a>, to establish independence, stability, and protection from the kind of naked partisan manipulation that had turned it into a political football for decades prior.
Harris and her cadre of angry partisans have been seething since Dobbs and continue to get struck down by the current Supreme Court because they continue doing illegal things. Instead of campaigning on popular policy, delivering results, and appointing justices when vacancies arise, their solution is to bypass those pesky checks and balances entirely. Stuffing the bench with 13 or 15 partisan hacks to rubber-stamp their agenda the minute they have the chance.
The Democratic Machine team is openly admitting they will turn our independent judiciary into a Democratic super-legislature. This “genius” politicking would backfire, as every other partisan power grab has, and the next Republican wave would pack it right back, to 17 or 19 justices, and so on and so forth, destroying the Court’s legitimacy.
<a href="https://repository.uclawsf.edu/hastings_constitutional_law_quaterly/vol29/iss3/4/">As James Madison warned in Federalist 47: &#8220;The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands&#8230;may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.&#8221;</a>
Politics is a game. Instead of playing to win, Democrats are simply trying to break the referee.
They&#8217;re also trying to add more players to their side of the field. The game is roughly even right now, but Harris and her fellow coconuts don&#8217;t like it even. That&#8217;s why they&#8217;re seriously pushing statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico, all in an effort, per Harris, to &#8220;neutralize these red states from cheating.&#8221;
You know what would prevent cheating? Ceasing mail-in ballots, requiring voter-ID, not lying about the “freeness” and “fairness” of your elections via gerrymandering 50% of voters out of existence. But they hate that idea!
Cheating would be subverting our Founders&#8217; wishes by granting statehood to D.C., which was deliberately designed as a federal district, not a state, precisely to avoid creating a permanent swamp of congressional power brokers beholden to one party. It&#8217;s already 90% Democrat. Granting it statehood would hand Democrats two more senators and a House seat overnight. That&#8217;s not democracy. That&#8217;s pure power consolidation.
Puerto Rico, the homeland of the Caribbean&#8217;s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtRD8hlIm9Y">baddest bunny</a>, is a welfare <a href="https://www.facebook.com/visualcapitalist/posts/visual-of-the-week-puerto-rico-leads-with-47-of-u-s-households-on-welfare-while-n/1196039162554504/">magnet</a> propped up by federal <a href="https://ffis.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/FY-2023-Per-Capita-Puerto-Rico.pdf">transfers</a>, with English as a non-dominant language, and their own referendums on statehood have been dismal with low turnout and mixed <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Rico_status_referendums">results</a>. Forcing it to become America&#8217;s 51st state wouldn&#8217;t expand the map; it would expand the entitlement tab and deliver a couple more reliable electoral votes to the Left.

But red states simply existing and growing in population because of low taxes, limited government, and deregulation? That’s cheating.
The Left has tried impeaching, imprisoning, and indicting President Donald Trump. They have weaponized the IRS and DOJ against Christians and conservatives, control Hollywood, the corporate media, and universities, censor conservative voices through Big Tech, and have imposed top-down government control everywhere they can reach.
Brainstorming how to abolish the Electoral College, pack the Supreme Court, lower the voting age, import millions of illegal aliens, and add two new Democratic states is not brainstorming. It is a coordinated effort to end the republic.
As Benjamin Franklin warned, we can only keep it &#8220;if we can keep it.&#8221;
The Left is telling us exactly what they will do the moment they have the chance. This is why they have spent years dehumanizing, delegitimizing, and degrading their opponents, so that when the unconstitutional seizure comes, they can call it necessary. Protective. A heroic effort to save Americans from evil Republicans.
President Barack Obama <a href="https://x.com/i/status/2053143910088659001">claims</a> he wished conservatives respected the rule of law. Meanwhile, Democrats chip away at every constitutional guardrail, day after day.
The silver lining: while the Republican bench stacks up with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Democrats are giving us a preview of their 2028 primary. If Harris, fresh off her latest word salad, is the best they’ve got? Americans can expect to keep their constitutional republic a little while longer.

Kamala Harris’s Bad Ideas Brainstorm Struggle Session

Former Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris finally dropped the mask earlier this week, revealing a blueprint for a far-Left coup disguised as &#8220;reform.&#8221;
<a href="https://www.nysun.com/article/with-no-bad-idea-brainstorm-kamala-harris-rains-on-america-in-the-name-of-reform">Speaking</a> to the Win with Black Women podcast, Harris didn’t just suggest policy tweaks; she called for a &#8220;no-bad-idea brainstorm&#8221; that effectively serves as a wrecking ball aimed at the pillars of the American Republic.
“This is a moment where there are no bad ideas,” she pontificated. “‘No bad idea brainstorm’ is what I&#8217;d like to call it. And in that ‘no bad ideas brainstorm,’ we talk about what we need to do and think about doing around the electoral college.’”
That move would effectively disenfranchise millions of Americans in &#8220;flyover country&#8221; to the benefit of deep-blue coastal elites.
Then she launched into her laundry list:

We talk about the idea of Supreme Court reform, which includes expanding the Supreme Court. We invite a conversation about multi-member districts. We talk about, that if we win the Senate — which we should and we will  — then the Senate Judiciary Committee should have rules that they put in place, so when these people come before as nominees to the Supreme Court and lie, that they are held to account and consequence, not just that somebody goes on cable news and says they lied, but that there are rules in place to actually penalize people for lying to a Senate Judiciary Committee. That we agree that it is right to have ethics rules for Supreme Court justices. And let&#8217;s put those in place.

Of course, the court already adopted its own formal Code of Conduct in late 2023, organized into five &#8220;canons&#8221; that mirror the rules for lower federal judges but are tailored specifically for the Supreme Court. But Harris appears blissfully unaware of that.
To cement this dominance for Democrats after abolishing the Electoral College, she’s pushing for D.C. and Puerto Rico statehood — not out of a sense of civic duty, but to potentially manufacture four permanent Democratic Senate seats.
“Let&#8217;s talk about statehood for Puerto Rico and D. C.,” she continued. “These are the things I think that we&#8217;ve got to do.”
She kept going: “We&#8217;ve got to neutralize these red states from cheating. Including blue states expanding their maps. &#8230; Look, we got to fight fire with fire. These folks are playing to win. We got to play to win, too.”
Harris’s rhetoric about &#8220;neutralizing red states from cheating&#8221; is the height of leftist projection. While she bemoans GOP tactics, she ignores the fact that some Democrat states are so aggressively gerrymandered that Republican districts are practically extinct.
