<p>Superstar Kid Rock appeared on <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/bill-maher">Bill Maher</a>&#8216;s latest podcast and &#8220;welcomed&#8221; him to the &#8220;Republican Party&#8221; after the HBO host slammed the woke push in schools.</p>
<p>During &#8220;Club Random with Bill Maher&#8221; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2sla4d5YN0">podcast</a> on Sunday, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/bill-maher">podcast host</a> told the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kid-rock">51-year-old</a> singer — born Robert James Ritchie — that he would be a bad parent if he had kids now in school dealing with the transgender push.</p>
<p>&#8220;Okay, you want me to be accepting whatever of a dude dressing up like a girl,&#8221; Kid Rock explained. &#8220;Wanting to use the girls bathroom, cutting his dick off &#8230; but you got a problem, which is not proven to be true, but you got a problem with a guy who might&#8217;ve pissed on a hooker in Russia. Come on.&#8221;</p>
<p>Maher said since we &#8220;have no dissenting votes on this issue&#8221; let&#8217;s &#8220;agree that what heals America, more than anything, is two people who have the acumen to figure out what they are not going to convince the other of &#8230;&#8221;</p>

<p>Later, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/unthinkable-bill-maher-blasts-attack-on-dear-friend-salman-rushdie">Maher</a> brought the conversation back to the topic of the gender identity push and said if he had kids he&#8217;d be a &#8220;very bad parent.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I would be a very bad parent right now,&#8221; the host shared. &#8220;Because I would fight. We would be very aligned on this, a lot of this. I would be a very bad parent because they would be doing things in the school that I didn&#8217;t think was appropriate.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Not from either side or point of view,&#8221; he added. &#8220;The subject itself. They are five. Can we just do blocks and the sky is blue before we get to drag queens? There&#8217;s levels of sophistication that are just &#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Bill, welcome to the Republican Party,&#8221; Ritchie interjected while he held his hand out to the host to shake it.</p>
<p>Maher didn&#8217;t shake his hand and said the &#8220;Picture&#8221; hitmaker must not be watching his &#8220;Real Time with Bill Maher&#8221; show, stating that he&#8217;s been saying similar for years.</p>
<p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t have to welcome me,&#8221; the HBO host added. &#8220;And by the way I don&#8217;t want to be in the Republican Party at all.&#8221;</p>
<p>Ritchie told him he could make a couple of calls.</p>
<p>&#8220;Oh, I know the invite is there,&#8221; Maher replied. &#8220;I don&#8217;t want it. Pick another kid for your team &#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>The underlying theme throughout the entire nearly 2 hour long show was both men calling for the need to find a common ground when it comes to politics and to stop hating other people simply because they are not on your team.</p>
