<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kid-rock">Kid Rock</a> had a message about respect for former first lady Michelle Obama after she announced she’s skipping the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
During the rocker&#8217;s appearance on Thursday on <a href="https://x.com/jessebwatters/status/1880070807873024082?s=46&amp;t=yVg_AIbZC0FnyCtU4qPVYw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">FOX News</a> Channel’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” the host asked the 53-year-old singer about performing at Trump’s second inauguration and if this was his first one.
Kid Rock said it wasn&#8217;t his first, reminding Watters that he first attended and performed for the inauguration of former President Barack Obama. 
“I was actually listening to your show a little bit before I got in the truck here. And I heard Michelle Obama&#8217;s not attending,” Kid Rock said. “I would kindly remind her that years back, when Obama was first elected, I did not vote for him, but they asked me to play the inauguration, and I played it, and I went, had a good time.”

“I don&#8217;t know,” Kid Rock replied. “She seems a little angry. She might be &#8212; wow. I don&#8217;t know. If you can&#8217;t say something nice, let me hear it.”
On Wednesday, the Trump-Vance <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/inauguration">Inaugural Committee</a> announced that superstars <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/carrie-underwood">Carrie Underwood</a> and Jason Aldean, along with the “Cowboy” hitmaker, will be just a few of the singers participating in the various inauguration events.
At a rally before the inauguration, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/here-are-all-the-celebrities-reportedly-planning-to-attend-trumps-second-inauguration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kid Rock and country singer Billy Ray Cyrus</a> will perform along with the American disco band the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/village-people-make-huge-announcement-about-trumps-inauguration">Village People</a>, who will also sing at one of the inaugural balls.
Speaking on Watters, Kid Rock said he was putting together something very special for the rally.
“I mean, I have spent so much time on this, when I was first asked to do it, and it was kind of a thing where they&#8217;re like, can you show up and play the track, do a couple songs?” Ritchie said.
“And I was like, respectfully, I&#8217;m not interested in that at all. I&#8217;d rather help you any way I can. I&#8217;m a supporter,” he added. “And so I came up and I put something together, put it all down on paper to the minute, everything choreographed &#8212; this, this, and this. They loved it.”
&#8220;Of course, we get into it. And we&#8217;re going through the due diligence to get it done. And God bless them,” Kid Rock continued. “Here comes the Secret Service and they&#8217;re like, yes, we can&#8217;t &#8212; we can&#8217;t light off fireworks and have big pyrotechnics … but we still got something very special planned.”

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kid-rock">Kid Rock</a> showed up on the fourth and final night of the Republican National Convention and sang a new song inspired by former <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">President Donald Trump</a>.
The 53-year-old rocker &#8212; born Robert James Ritchie &#8212; took the <a href="https://x.com/BenSwann_/status/1814123334805733560">stage</a> and got the crowd riled up, calling on them to raise their fist in the air and say “fight, fight” as the entire room of delegates yelled “fight, fight.”
The comments were reminiscent of what Trump told his supporters following the attempted assassination on the former president’s life at a rally in Pennsylvania, which left one supporter dead and two others, including Trump, injured.
Kid Rock rocked the room with verses about being the “cowboy, I’m the singer in black. Throw your fist in the air, let me see where you at.”

In one verse, the rocker said “Trump’s the shhh*t,” as the room went wild. Kid Rock sang his new version of his song &#8220;American Bad A**&#8221; as he walked back and forth across the stage with images of the American flag behind him along with walls of fire.
Earlier in the day, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin shared a behind-the-scenes clip of Kid Rock rehearsing his Trump-themed song.

He also donated money to support the innocent rally-goers who were also wounded when a shooter opened fire on Trump&#8217;s Pennsylvania rally, killing firefighter Corey Comperatore and injuring two in addition to the former president.
Questions still surround the shooting, as many have asked how a potential shooter — who was reportedly a known threat — was able to attain an elevated position with a direct line on Trump.

While most liberal celebrities kept quiet, there were a few who couldn’t help but comment. The Trump supporters in Tinseltown used their platforms to condemn political violence and reaffirm their support for the presumptive Republican nominee.

He wrote in a follow up, “Trump gets shot and now I’m trending.” This post included a photoshopped image of Trump’s face imposed over the album cover for Get Rich or Die Tryin.’

Actress Roseanne Barr reacted to a post from Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) blaming Republicans for the attack since the shooter was registered as a party member.
“I was waiting for them to blame us for this too,” Barr wrote. “The gaslight war is over: these people have no power left. Chinese spy fornicator and fellow pant sh**er Swalwell is purposely ignoring an act blue donation and open primaries where Dems were urged to register as republicans to hurt Trump in the primaries.”

Dana White, Kid Rock, and thousands of others donated to the GoFundMe page set up for the shooting victims who were killed or injured during an assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, pushing the total beyond $2 million in less than 24 hours.
The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-authorizes-fundraiser-for-supporter-killed-during-assassination-attempt-its-exploded-in-donations">fundraiser</a>, which Trump sanctioned following the failed assassination attempt during a campaign rally on Saturday evening in Butler, Pennsylvania, had an initial goal of $1 million, but doubled that amount by the middle of Sunday afternoon.

A description of the crowd-funded page read: “President Donald Trump has authorized this account as a place for donations to the supporters and families wounded or killed in today’s brutal and horrific assassination attempt. All donations will be directed to these proud Americans as they grieve and recover. May God bless and unite our nation.”
At the time of this publication, top donors to the account included rockstar Kid Rock, who donated $50,000; UFC president Dana White, who donated $50,000; and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who donated another $30,000. 
The tally also grew thanks to donations, both large and small, from more than 26,000 people.
Following the shooting, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kid-rock-says-you-fk-with-trump-you-fk-with-me-after-assassination-attempt">Kid Rock</a> posted a video message to followers. “You f*** with Trump, you f*** with me,” the rocker — born Robert James Ritchie — said in a video online as he pointed at the camera, and made it clear he was angry after someone shot at Trump.
Officials have identified the deceased rally-goer as Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old Pennsylvania native and firefighter. He is being <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/firefighter-killed-at-trump-rally-hailed-as-hero-for-shielding-his-family?topStoryPosition=4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hailed as a hero</a> who shielded his daughters when the shooting began.
Two other attendees were seriously injured, according to officials, while Trump and his team said the former president is &#8220;fine&#8221; after a bullet ripped through his ear.
The Secret Service said its personnel <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/journalist-captures-photo-of-bullet-whizzing-past-trumps-head-after-it-hit-his-ear" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;neutralized&#8221; the shooter.</a>
On Sunday, Trump published a <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/112784638860095397">post</a> to Truth Social that said: “Our love goes out to the other victims and their families. We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed.&#8221;
In the same message, the former president emphasized that “it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win.”

In a post on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C9YXhU6PVc0/">Instagram</a>, the 53-year-old singer shared a video of him making it clear that taking a shot at the former president is not okay after Trump was shot during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, while he was speaking to supporters ahead of the 2024 election.
“You f*** with Trump, you f*** with me,” the rocker — born Robert James Ritchie — said in a video online as he pointed at the camera, and made it clear he was angry after someone had shot at Trump.

Following the shooting, Trump released a statement that read, “I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania.&#8221;
“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured,” he added. “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.”
“Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead,” Trump continued. “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening.”

If you’re on the Right, then you know that the phrase “this is why we lose” has become something of a cliche. Anytime anyone on our side does anything we don’t like, we are bound to declare “this is why we lose,” as if that person is now a symbol for America’s cultural decline. In many cases, the “this is why we lose” charge can be off base, or at least overwrought and overstated. But not always.
So today we begin with an actual case of “this is why we lose.”
Over the past few days, there has been, seemingly out of nowhere, a full-court press by some on the Right to rehabilitate Bud Light and convince conservatives to drop the boycott of the company. Now, we know that some notable figures on this side of the aisle were never on board with the boycott in the first place. Famously, Donald Trump Jr. defended the beer maker from the beginning, saying Bud Light is on our side, despite appearances, and we shouldn’t punish them for their brief foray into trans propaganda. But Trump Jr. and others in that orbit were alone in their pro-Bud Light stance for many months, until just now.
This week, both UFC president Dana White and Kid Rock appeared in interviews with Tucker Carlson to declare their renewed support for Bud Light. Some other prominent voices, like Tim Pool, have come out to defend their position.

In fairness to these guys, we will go through these clips one-by-one so you can hear their arguments for yourself. 
First, here’s Dana White:

I’ll have plenty to say about the thrust of Dana’s argument after we play all of the clips, but I do want to point out one thing right away. Bud Light is a brand owned by a foreign conglomerate. Putting everything else aside, it’s very hard to make the case that it’s “patriotic” to support a foreign company. I’m not saying we can’t support foreign-owned brands. After all that’s most brands. I’m just saying it’s hard to cast your support for a Belgian multinational corporation as patriotic.
But we’ll get back to Dana’s point in a moment. First, here’s Kid Rock, also with Tucker, agreeing with Dana:

Many people — myself certainly included — have found Kid Rock’s reasoning here less than compelling. 
But Tim Pool thinks that we’re all missing the point:

Now, before I explain why this is all horribly wrong, let me begin by stipulating that I like all of these guys. I like Dana White and Kid Rock. Tim Pool’s show is great and I like him personally. I’m obviously a huge fan and supporter of Tucker Carlson and I think he’s one of the most important voices in the country right now. But the Bud Light boycott is still on, and let me explain why.
Bud Light — the foreign-owned brand — tried to push trans ideology. It spat in the face of its own customers. For once in our lives — for once, ever, in modern American history — conservatives fought back in an organized, competent, effective way. We organized a boycott and we stuck with it. We actually made the woke company feel the pain. We imposed our will in a way conservatives have never been able to do. 
The Bud Light boycott is by far (and It’s not close) the most effective conservative boycott of a major company of all-time. There isn’t even a close second. In fact, it’s fair to say this is not just the most effective but actually the only successful boycott we’ve ever staged.
We’d have to have a very compelling strategic reason to end this one single successful boycott campaign. We would have to have extracted some kind of major concession. But what concession have they made? They gave Dana White $100 million. So what? That’s not a concession, that’s not an apology — that’s a marketing ploy. Are we going to end the Bud Light boycott and start giving them our money because we like their new marketing plan? That wouldn’t be us ending a boycott victoriously. That would be a retreat. It would be the very definition of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Something the Right does very often, but never as egregiously and pathetically as this.
Now, as with any boycott campaign, I do agree that you need to give companies an out. You have to give them a way to get back in your good graces. The whole point of a boycott is that you’re withholding support in order to extract some kind of concession. If you get the concession, you win. And if you don’t get the concession then the company is just destroyed, and you win that way. So far we are winning the second way. Bud Light betrayed its customers, it has not conceded defeat, and so the entire company is in shambles. So be it.
What can Bud Light do to get out of this? What’s their out?
Well, they would need to apologize for pushing transgenderism. They would need to apologize specifically and explicitly. They would need to grovel at our feet, in humiliating fashion, and disavow gender ideology entirely. That’s what they would have to do. They haven’t done that. They refuse to do that. Instead, they are hoping they can simply change the subject. But a change of subject is not a concession. It’s not an apology. It’s a trick, a gimmick, a diversion tactic. If we fall for it then we deserve to lose. We deserve everything that’s coming.
Here’s the point. If you are boycotting a company and demanding some kind of concession, and you don’t get the concession, and then you back down anyway — you lose. You have taken your victory and traded it in, in exchange for a defeat. You have said, “No thanks, I’d rather not win. I’ll take a loss instead.”
That’s what it would be if we start supporting Bud Light now. They haven’t apologized. They haven’t conceded. So, screw them. Let them wither and die. Let their brand destroy itself. Let it burn. That’s what they’ve chosen. It’s what they’ll get. Unless we decide to bail them out because we don’t have the stomach to fight the culture war like wars need to be fought. Part of the pitch from guys like Dana White and Kid Rock seems to be a call for a weird sort of mercy.
I’ve even seen some on the Right arguing that we are called, as Christians, to forgive Bud Light for their transgressions. That is an actual argument I’ve seen from more than one person. But fighting back against culture rot, fighting against the people who are deliberately injecting perversion and moral insanity into our society, fighting against the corporate overlords behind it all, is not a time for mercy. These are not homeless, starving people on the street who need a helping hand. These are mega-billion-dollar corporations who are selling degeneracy for profit. If you manage to get your foot on one of their necks, you keep it there. You have no mercy until they grovel and beg and do exactly what you demand that they do. And, again, if we are not willing to do that, if we are not willing to be ruthless, if we will allow ourselves to be paid off, then there is no hope. We will never win this war. And we will not deserve to win anyway.

Keep in mind the significance of the Bud Light boycott and the whole strategy behind it: We have turned this company into a cautionary tale. The whole point was to put its head on a spike as a warning to others. It’s a trophy for the mantle. We want to show corporate America this is what we will do — this is what we are capable of doing, and willing to do — if you spit in our face the way Bud Light did. But if we just put a dent in their sales for a couple of quarters, get no apology or concession at all, and then go back to supporting them, we will have taken their head off of the spike and put our own on it. We will have sent a very different kind of message to corporate America. We will have shown them that we are not willing to go for the kill shot. That ultimately we will always come crawling back, pathetically, with our tail between our legs.
But what’s happening now is even worse. This is not just an effort to end the Bud Light boycott. This is an effort to actively rehabilitate their brand. Because the truth is the boycott isn’t even really a boycott anymore. It’s worse than that for Bud Light. The problem has metastasized. We didn’t just boycott the company — we rebranded it. The brand itself now seem lame, effeminate, and embarrassing. Even people who don’t care about the boycott, or are only dimly aware of it, avoid drinking Bud Light just because they don’t want their friends to make fun of them. That’s why Bud Light is in such a dire situation.
Even if we officially ended the boycott, it wouldn’t necessarily matter. The brand is lame now. Customers don’t want to be associated with it. Which means that to really end the boycott, we would have to revitalize and repair Bud Light’s brand for them, which is what the Dana Whites and Kid Rocks of the world seem to be trying to do. This is like declaring victory in a war, accepting your enemy’s surrender, and then proceeding to give them back all the land you gained. You’re not just ending the war in that case. You are actively forfeiting your own gains. You aren’t just letting your enemy bow out. You are helping them repair the damage that they themselves caused.
Why would we do that? Why should we? What do we gain?
I know the UFC gains $100 million. But what about the rest of us? What about the movement? What about the culture? What do we get out of this “mercy”? Nothing. That’s the answer.
And on top of it all, it must be said, Bud Light sucks anyway. It’s a bad product. It tastes like stale rainwater scooped out of a murky puddle on the pavement. This is not just the most effective conservative boycott in history, but the easiest. Nobody with functioning tastebuds has any desire to drink that sludge anyway.
That’s what it comes down to. We can do what is effective, what is right, and also what is, at the same time, very easy. Or we can go out of our way to kneecap ourselves and turn an easy victory into a laborious defeat. Those are your options.
And really, you should not have any trouble making the choice.

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/welcome-to-the-republican-party-kid-rock-to-maher-when-hbo-host-slams-woke-push-in-schools" target="_blank" rel="noopener">52-year-old</a> singer —born Robert Ritchie — joined some 50,000 people who have donated to the GiveSendGo campaign that is listed as &#8220;Daniel Penny&#8217;s Legal Defense Fund.&#8221; As of this publication, the online fundraiser has surpassed $2.5 million.
Ritchie is listed in the &#8220;Top Donations&#8221; section, which shows that he donated &#8220;5,000.&#8221; His post read, &#8220;Mr. Penny is a hero. Alvin Bragg is a POS. Kid Rock.” Bragg is the Manhattan district attorney who has charged Penny with second-degree manslaughter, the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12086123/Kid-Rock-donates-5-000-Daniel-Pennys-defense-fund-raised-2-2-million.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daily Mail</a> noted.

Ritchie joined with other high profile figures who donated to Penny — who&#8217;s facing charges over the death of the homeless man who was allegedly threatening people on a New York City subway car before he was restrained by Penny with a headlock for about 15 minutes on May 1, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/givesendgo-campaign-raises-more-than-2-million-for-daniel-penny" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. On Friday, Penny surrendered to law enforcement in New York and did not enter a plea. He was released on $100,000 bail, and is scheduled to be back in court on July 17.
Others who donated include Max King Realty Holdings LLC President/CEO Brett Kingstone, who wrote with his <a href="https://www.givesendgo.com/daniel_penny" target="_blank" rel="noopener">donation</a> that Kid Rock&#8217;s level of support inspired him to do more.
&#8220;So I see that the great KID ROCK donated $5,000,&#8221; Kingstone wrote. &#8220;Decided to up my previous $1,000 donation to $5,000 accordingly. Kid Rock&#8217;s messages to Alvin Bragg, as well as Bud Lite, are well founded. Blessings to all the great Americans who sent both their prayers and contributions of $5 and up to this great Marine and Hero.&#8221;
2024 Republican Party presidential primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy donated another $10,000. While political commentator Tim Pool is listed on the fundraising site as donating $20,000.

Country star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/john-rich">John Rich</a> said &#8220;cases and cases&#8221; of Bud Light have been piling up at his Nashville bar after Anheuser-Busch announced its partnership with biological male transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.
During the 49-year-old singer&#8217;s appearance on Fox News&#8217;s &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr8OPmPE-j4">Tucker Carlson Tonight</a>&#8221; on Monday, Rich told the host that Bud Light used to be his bar&#8217;s most popular beer, but ever since Mulvaney revealed a deal with the brand, patrons stopped ordering it.
&#8220;I think the customers decide. Customers are king,&#8221; said Rich. &#8220;Our number one selling beer up until a few days ago was, guess what? Bud Light. That was the number one beer. We got cases and cases and cases of it sitting back there.&#8221;

Trump travelled to New York last week and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-indicted-on-34-felony-counts-of-conspiracy-falsifying-business-records-pleads-not-guilty" target="_blank" rel="noopener">pleaded not guilty</a> to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records as part of what Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg alleged to be a “catch-and-kill” scheme to influence the 2016 election.
Other investigations pose legal jeopardy to Trump, including a 2020 election inquiry led by Georgia&#8217;s Fulton County District Attorney <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fulton-da-responds-to-trump-attacks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fani Willis</a> and the federal probe commandeered by special counsel Jack Smith.
Trump broadly denies any wrongdoing and claims politically motivated prosecutors are targeting him.
