ABC’s “The View” slammed NBC host Megyn Kelly on Tuesday over her remarks in her ongoing spat with actress Jane Fonda over plastic surgery.
Kelly had asked Fonda back in September about the plastic surgery operations she has undergone. Since the interview, Fonda has taken several swipes at Kelly for her question. Kelly had experienced enough of Fonda’s unchecked remarks and harshly criticized her on Tuesday during her show, saying, “It’s time to address the ‘poor me’ routine.” She also slammed Fonda, saying:
But I have no regrets about that question, nor am I in the market for a lesson from Jane Fonda on what is or is not appropriate. … After all, this is a woman whose name is synonymous with outrage. Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam War. Many of our veterans still call her “Hanoi Jane” thanks to her radio broadcast, which attempted to shame American troops; she posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot-down our American pilots; she called our POWs hypocrites and liars and referred to their torture as “understandable.”

Fonda visited North Vietnam in 1972 and was photographed with North Vietnamese troops on an antiaircraft gun that would have been used to shoot down American planes, helping earn her the nickname “Hanoi Jane” when she returned to the U.S.
“To drag the Vietnam War into a plastic surgery conversation is a real stretch, Megyn. OK?” co-host Joy Behar said. “Also, why are people more angry with Jane Fonda than they are with Nixon or LBJ … it amazes me how you can focus on Jane Fonda.”
After a brief exchange with co-host Meghan McCain, co-host Sunny Hostin said she was bothered by Kelly’s remarks, saying, “I have never seen a journalist do something like that.”
That’s when Behar dropped the hammer.
“Who’s the journalist?” Behar responded. “Jane should have just said to her: ‘And how much work have you had, b***h?'”
