U.S. producer prices surged for the month of April at twice the rate that economic analysts had forecasted, according to newly released numbers by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
&#8220;The Producer Price Index for final demand increased 0.6 percent in April,&#8221; BLS <a href="https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ppi.pdf">reported</a>. &#8220;On an unadjusted basis, the final demand index moved up 6.2 percent for the 12 months ended in April, the largest advance since 12-month data were first calculated in November 2010.&#8221;
The Producer Price Index (PPI) is a BLS statistic that measures the average price changes by producers for domestically manufactured goods and services.
&#8220;The index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services rose 0.7 percent in April following an increase of 0.6 percent in March,&#8221; the report added. &#8220;For the 12 months ended in April, prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services moved up 4.6 percent, the largest advance since 12-month data were first calculated in August 2014.&#8221;
The news comes after President Joe Biden has repeatedly received bad economic news over the last week starting with the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-unemployment-rate-increases-numbers-way-worse-than-expected-talk-of-inflation-grows">disastrous</a> jobs report on Friday and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-inflation-skyrockets-to-highest-levels-since-great-recession-follows-disastrous-jobs-report">soaring inflation</a> rates on Wednesday.
The black unemployment rate <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000006">increased</a>, 18,000 manufacturing jobs were <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES3000000001?output_view=net_1mth">lost</a>, <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES2000000001?output_view=net_1mth">no construction</a> jobs were added, unemployment for <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14027660">Americans without</a> any <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14027659">college education</a> increased, and women had a <a href="https://twitter.com/TCPigott/status/1390669328928940034">net loss</a> in jobs in the report that was released on Friday. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics <a href="https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm">said</a> that nearly 10 million Americans, 9.8 million to be exact, remained unemployed in Biden’s economy. The April jobs report missed projections for the number of new jobs expected by more than 700,000 jobs.
News of last week’s abysmal job numbers was made even worse when the job numbers from March, which originally saw an estimated gain of 916,000 new jobs, had been revised down to 770,000 jobs, “meaning that the net number of people employed over the past month, relative to what was known just hours ago, was a mere 120,000,” Bloomberg News <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2021-05-07/jobs-report-shocking-miss-rips-up-traders-playbooks">reported</a>.
“Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years for April as the U.S. economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher,” CNBC <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/12/consumer-price-index-april-2021.html?__source=sharebar|twitter&amp;par=sharebar">reported</a> yesterday on the increase in inflation. “The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%.”
Biden faced further negative news this week about conditions in the U.S. under his leadership when U.S. Customs and Border Protection <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-inflation-skyrockets-to-highest-levels-since-great-recession-follows-disastrous-jobs-report">released</a> new numbers that showed that Biden’s border crisis worsened during the month of April.
CBP <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/border-arrests-rise-fewer-unaccompanied-minors/2021/05/11/c4c74d02-b1a8-11eb-a3b5-f994536fe84a_story.html">data</a> published Tuesday showed that immigration arrests and detentions on the U.S.-Mexico shot up to in April at 178,622, a 3% increase from March, the highest in the history of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The media tried to spin the news as a bit of a win for the Biden administration because the surge in arrests of illegal aliens was <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/border-apprehensions-rose-slightly-april-number-unaccompanied-minors-dropped-n1267046">driven</a> in large part by single adults while the number of unaccompanied minors apprehended fell.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis unloaded on the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas on Wednesday while President Joe Biden failed to directly condemn the organization later in the afternoon when asked about the recent violence in the Middle East.

Later in the afternoon, Biden was asked to respond to the violence in the Middle East and asked about conversations that he has had with officials there.
“My national security staff and defense staff has been in constant contact with their counterparts in the Middle East, not just with the Israelis, but also with everyone from the Egyptians, to the Saudis, to the Emirates, etc.,” Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-weighs-in-on-violence-in-middle-east-does-not-condemn-hamas-terrorist-attacks">said</a>. “And I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu not too long ago; I’ll be putting out a statement very shortly on that. My expectation and hope is that this will be closing down sooner than later.”
Biden said that Israel had a right to defend itself from attacks, but he did not call out or condemn Hamas for their actions.
“But Israel has a right to defend itself when you have thousands of rockets flying into your territory,” Biden continued. “But I had a conversation for a while with the prime minister of Israel, and I think that my hope is that we’ll see this coming to conclusion sooner than later.”

This is troubling as members of your administration are currently in Vienna negotiating with Iran, the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. In light of these recent attacks by Hamas against Israel, the United States should take all steps necessary to hold Tehran accountable and under no circumstances, provide sanctions relief to Iran. This is especially important as Iran is supporting terrorist activity against the United States’ closest ally in the region, Israel.&#8221;
The letter comes as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) — both designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) — have been behind countless rocket attacks against Israel this week that have resulted in the deaths of at least seven people inside Israel with hundreds injured. A <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/palestinian-islamic-jihad-officials-iran-is-giving-us-the-rockets-we-use-to-attack-israel">report</a> from The Daily Wire this week highlighted how Palestinian extremists have openly bragged or thanked Iran for weapons they have received from Iran.
&#8220;The United States engaging in active negotiations with Iran and potentially providing billions of dollars in sanctions relief will no doubt contribute to Iran’s support of Hamas and other terrorist organizations who attack Americans and our allies,&#8221; the senators wrote. &#8220;We call on you to immediately end negotiations with Iran, and make clear that sanctions relief will not be provided. Doing so would demonstrate a firm commitment to our closest ally in the region and to our own security interests.&#8221;
The senators said that it was crucial that the U.S. not do anything to financially support those who are in any way involved in committing violence against Israel, which is America&#8217;s top ally in the region.
Andrea Stricker, research fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), echoed the remarks coming from the senators, saying that the U.S. should immediately end its involvement in the Vienna nuclear deal negotiations.
&#8220;The nuclear accord, embedded in UN Security Council resolution 2231, lifts sanctions on Iran and removes an international embargo against Iran&#8217;s import and export of missiles in October 2023,&#8221; Stricker said in a statement to The Daily Wire. &#8220;We see what happens when Iran can import and export missiles. Lives are at stake in the region. Iran cannot have additional funding to outfit its violent proxies.&#8221;

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has launched more than 600 surgical strikes against Palestinian terrorists in Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) this week in response to the terrorists firing well over a thousand rockets into Israel.
The IDF&#8217;s most recent actions against the terrorists include destroying a Hamas terror tunnel, security and intelligence buildings, eliminating numerous top <a href="https://www.idf.il/en/minisites/operation-guardian-of-the-walls/idf-neutralizes-hamas-terrorists-in-strikes/">officers</a> in the terrorist organizations, and killing countless numbers of terrorist soldiers.
The strikes from the IDF come after the Palestinian terrorists have fired more than 1,500 rockets into Israel, killing at least seven people and wounding hundreds.
Top Israeli defense officials met on Wednesday night and approved a plan to &#8220;intensify military attacks&#8221; on the terrorist attacks, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israel-appears-to-signal-major-escalation-in-announcement-as-idf-eliminates-top-terrorist-targets">said</a> earlier in the day was going to happen.
&#8220;The campaign is still far from over,&#8221; a cabinet member <a href="https://www.ynetnews.com/article/ryHhosK00u">told</a> Israel&#8217;s Ynetnews. &#8220;Whatever we don’t do now, we will have to do in six months or a year from now.&#8221;
&#8220;This will not end in the next few days,&#8221; said a cabinet member. &#8220;Israel will not stop and has no interest in stopping. It is all moving in the right direction. We will act until they admit that opening fire was a mistake, just as Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah did after the Second Lebanon War in 2006.”
The official said that Israel has still not finished with its surgical airstrikes against the terrorists, but, once it has, if they do not surrender, Israel will be launching a ground offensive to eliminate the remaining threats. IDF Spokesperson Brig.-Gen. Hidai Zilberman <a href="https://www.jpost.com/arab-israeli-conflict/israeli-ground-offensive-in-gaza-on-table-as-rocket-barrages-continue-668048">said</a> all options were on the table and that plans were being drawn up by the IDF for a variety of options.
“The army will continue to attack to bring a total, long-term quiet,” Defense Minister Benny Gantz <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israel-appears-to-signal-major-escalation-in-announcement-as-idf-eliminates-top-terrorist-targets">said</a> on Wednesday. “Only when we reach that goal will we be able to speak about a truce.”

The IDF taunted Hamas early on Wednesday morning after Israel’s Air Force terminated numerous Hamas intelligence officials. “Our fighter jets, with the ISA, neutralized key figures of Hamas’ intelligence: Hassan Kaogi, head of the Hamas military intelligence security department &amp; his deputy Wail Issa, head of the military intelligence counterespionage department,” they wrote. “Looks like our intel was better.”
The IDF highlighted on social media other top Hamas terrorists on Tuesday that it terminated on the battlefield.
“We just killed the commander of the Hamas anti-tank missile unit, Iyad Fathi Faik Sharir,” the IDF wrote. “He was in charge of carrying out anti-tank missile attacks on Israel. Our aircraft are currently striking additional terror targets in Gaza.”

More than 120 retired generals and admirals from the United States Armed Forces warned in a letter this week that the U.S. was entering a state of &#8220;deep peril&#8221; under the leadership of President Joe Biden and even called into question his physical and mental health.
The <a href="https://img1.wsimg.com/blobby/go/fb7c7bd8-097d-4e2f-8f12-3442d151b57d/downloads/2021%20Open%20Letter%20from%20Retired%20Generals%20and%20Adm.pdf?ver=1620740665549">letter</a>, which came from a group called &#8220;Flag Officers 4 America,&#8221; said that the country was in a fight for survival as a constitutional republic against Marxist forces that seek to destroy American&#8217;s rights.
&#8220;The Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration’s effective policies and regulations,&#8221; the letter states.
The letter expressed concern over what it called &#8220;population control&#8221; measures, including &#8220;excessive lockdowns, school and business closures,&#8221; and big tech censorship.
The letter highlighted the following key policy concerns that the former top military officers had:

<li>Open borders jeopardize national security by increasing human trafficking, drug cartels, terrorists entry, health/CV19 dangers, and humanitarian crises. Illegals are flooding our Country bringing high economic costs, crime, lowering wages, and illegal voting in some states. We must reestablish border controls and continue building the wall while supporting our dedicated border control personnel. Sovereign nations must have controlled borders.</li>
<li>China is the greatest external threat to America. Establishing cooperative relations with the Chinese Communist Party emboldens them to continue progress toward world domination, militarily, economically, politically and technologically. We must impose more sanctions and restrictions to impede their world domination goal and protect America’s interests.</li>
<li>The free flow of information is critical to the security of our Republic, as illustrated by freedom of speech and the press being in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution. Censoring speech and expression, distorting speech, spreading disinformation by government officials, private entities, and the media is a method to suppress the free flow of information, a tyrannical technique used in closed societies. U.S. Customs and Border Protection <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/border-arrests-rise-fewer-unaccompanied-minors/2021/05/11/c4c74d02-b1a8-11eb-a3b5-f994536fe84a_story.html">data</a> published Tuesday showed that immigration arrests and detentions on the U.S.-Mexico border shot up in April to 178,622, a 3% increase from March, the highest in the history of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The media tried to spin the news as a bit of a win for the Biden administration because the surge in arrests of illegal aliens was <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/border-apprehensions-rose-slightly-april-number-unaccompanied-minors-dropped-n1267046">driven</a> in large part by single adults while the number of unaccompanied minors apprehended fell.
Former Trump administration officials and immigration officials, however, were not falling for the spin and instead slammed the extremely high number as being disastrous for the country.
“From day one, the Biden administration has pursued policies that have fueled this crisis, despite receiving dozens of briefings during the transition from myself and other professionals at the Department of Homeland Security warning them of the consequences of doing so,&#8221; Former Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf said. &#8220;The administration has reversed sound immigration policies like the Migrant Protection Protocols, asylum cooperative agreements with Northern Triangle countries, and construction of the border wall system.&#8221;
&#8220;These actions will continue to have immense costs not just for our law enforcement, but for working Americans and our communities, as well,&#8221; Wolf added. &#8220;Until this administration applies a consequence for coming here illegally, these numbers are going to remain at crisis levels. Ohio Republican Governor Mike DeWine announced on Wednesday that adults who get the coronavirus vaccine will be entered into a drawing to win $1 million and that children who get vaccinated will be entered into a drawing to win a full-ride scholarship to Ohio State University.
The announcement came at the same time that DeWine said that the state would &#8220;remove all pandemic health orders,&#8221; except ones related to nursing, on June 2. DeWine stressed that it was important for everyone to get vaccinated, and that local businesses have stepped up in offering incentives to encourage people to get vaccinated.
&#8220;The @Reds and @Indians are offering discounts on tickets to their games,&#8221; DeWine wrote on Twitter. &#8220;With a vaccine, @WhiteCastle is offering free butter cakes on a stick. @Kroger is offering employees $100 in cash. We need more businesses to offer these kinds of incentives.&#8221;
&#8220;Getting our 12- to 17-year-olds vaccinated is so important that we will have a separate incentive for them,&#8221; DeWine said. &#8220;On Wednesday, May 26th, we will announce the winner of a drawing of all those 17 years old and under who have been vaccinated, and the winner will receive a full, four-year scholarship to our State of Ohio universities. This will include tuition, room and board, and books.&#8221;
&#8220;On May 18th, an electronic portal will be opened up for young people who have been vaccinated to be able to register,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;We will do this every Wednesday, for five straight Wednesdays &#8212; each time randomly selecting one student to receive the full, four-year scholarship.&#8221;
DeWine then addressed the incentive program that the state has created to encourage adults to get vaccinated, which will come from existing available funds.
&#8220;Two weeks from tonight on May 26th, we will announce a winner of a separate drawing for adults who have received at least their first dose of the vaccine. This announcement will occur each Wednesday for five weeks, and the winner each Wednesday will receive one million dollars,&#8221; DeWine said. &#8220;The pool of names for the drawing will be derived from the Ohio Secretary of State’s publicly available voter registration database. Further, we will make available a webpage for people to sign up for the drawings if they are not in a database we are using.&#8221;
&#8220;The Ohio Department of Health will be the sponsoring agency for the drawings, and the Ohio Lottery will conduct them. The money will come from existing federal Coronavirus Relief Funds,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;To be eligible to win, you must be at least 18 years of age or older on the day of the drawing. You must be an Ohio resident. And, you must be vaccinated before the drawing. We will have further, specific details tomorrow and in the days ahead.&#8221;

Democrat President Joe Biden appeared at one point during a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to forget the name of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) after meeting with the California Republican just a few hours prior.
The president’s remarks came at an event late this afternoon where he delivered updates about his administration&#8217;s work in combatting the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier in the afternoon, Biden met with McCarthy, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) about topics of bipartisan agreement.

“My national security staff and defense staff has been in constant contact with their counterparts in the Middle East, not just with the Israelis, but also with everyone from the Egyptians, to the Saudis, to the Emirates, etc.,” Biden said. “And I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu not too long ago; I’ll be putting out a statement very shortly on that. My expectation and hope is that this will be closing down sooner than later.”
Biden said that Israel had a right to defend itself from rocket attacks, but he stopped short of condemning Hamas for the attacks.
“But Israel has a right to defend itself when you have thousands of rockets flying into your territory,” Biden continued. “But I had a conversation for a while with the prime minister of Israel, and I think that my hope is that we’ll see this coming to conclusion sooner than later.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a series of surgical strikes against Hamas targets inside Gaza on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning after the Palestinian terrorists fired hundreds of rockets into Israel. The strikes came amid a new statement from Israel&#8217;s military that appeared to sound as if they were planning on kicking things up a notch in response to the terror attacks.
&#8220;The army will continue to attack to bring a total, long-term quiet,&#8221; Defense Minister Benny Gantz <a href="https://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/latest-news/israel-vows-more-attacks-to-bring-total-quiet-before-any-truce/news-story/603b0dba14b118cab1abe4ff0ad3451c">said</a> on Wednesday. &#8220;Only when we reach that goal will we be able to speak about a truce.&#8221;

The strikes from the IDF came after the terrorists fired more than 1,100 rockets at Israel, the overwhelming majority of which have been intercepted by the nation&#8217;s Iron Dome system. The terrorists have focused on firing large numbers of rockets in short periods of time in an attempt to oversaturate the Iron Dome&#8217;s ability to stop all rockets being fired. So far, at least five people inside Israel have been killed and more than 100 people wounded.
The Gaza Health Ministry, which is run by Hamas, a <a href="https://www.state.gov/foreign-terrorist-organizations/">designated</a> Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO), has claimed that 53 Palestinians have been killed, including more than a dozen minors, with more than 320 wounded. Those numbers should be met with skepticism because Hamas is a terrorist organization, and thus not credible. Also, many of those who have been killed are terrorists and Israel has <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/israeli-military-kills-3-islamic-jihad-commanders-in-targeted-strike/">cautioned</a> that some of the Palestinians that have been killed lost their lives because they were hit by rockets fired by Hamas.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) trolled Hamas early on Wednesday morning after Israel’s Air Force terminated numerous Hamas intelligence officials. “Our fighter jets, with the ISA, neutralized key figures of Hamas’ intelligence: Hassan Kaogi, head of the Hamas military intelligence security department &amp; his deputy Wail Issa, head of the military intelligence counterespionage department,&#8221; they wrote. &#8220;Looks like our intel was better.”
The IDF highlighted on social media other top Hamas terrorists on Tuesday that it terminated on the battlefield.
“We just killed the commander of the Hamas anti-tank missile unit, Iyad Fathi Faik Sharir,” the IDF wrote. “He was in charge of carrying out anti-tank missile attacks on Israel. Our aircraft are currently striking additional terror targets in Gaza.”

President Joe Biden received further negative news Wednesday about the economic environment in the U.S. under his leadership as newly released numbers show that the economy is overheating and inflation is growing at an even higher rate than anticipated.
&#8220;Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years for April as the U.S. economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher,&#8221; CNBC <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/12/consumer-price-index-april-2021.html?__source=sharebar|twitter&amp;par=sharebar">reported</a>. &#8220;The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%.&#8221;
The report sent the stock market tumbling shortly after it was released by the Department of Labor.
&#8220;Rising commodity markets, supply-chain blockages and hiring difficulties have prompted some investors to expect a prolonged upswing in consumer prices,&#8221; The Wall Street Journal <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/global-stock-markets-dow-update-05-12-2021-11620805277?mod=hp_lead_pos2">reported</a>. &#8220;That could lead the Federal Reserve to raise its target for short-term interest rates sooner than it has signaled, potentially weighing on stocks and other assets that have benefited from over a year of near-zero borrowing costs.&#8221;
The news comes less than a week after the Biden administration <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/breaking-unemployment-rate-increases-numbers-way-worse-than-expected-talk-of-inflation-grows">suffered</a> a major setback when April&#8217;s jobs report showed that only 266,000 jobs were added to the economy, 700,000 less than had been projected.
The black unemployment rate <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000006">increased</a>, 18,000 manufacturing jobs were <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES3000000001?output_view=net_1mth">lost</a>, <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES2000000001?output_view=net_1mth">no construction</a> jobs were added, unemployment for <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14027660">Americans without</a> any <a href="https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14027659">college education</a> increased, and women had a <a href="https://twitter.com/TCPigott/status/1390669328928940034">net loss</a> in jobs. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics <a href="https://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.nr0.htm">said</a> that nearly 10 million Americans, 9.8 million to be exact, remained unemployed in Biden’s economy.
News of last week&#8217;s abysmal job numbers was made even worse when the job numbers from March, which originally saw an estimated gain of 916,000 new jobs, had been revised down to 770,000 jobs, &#8220;meaning that the net number of people employed over the past month, relative to what was known just hours ago, was a mere 120,000,&#8221; Bloomberg News <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2021-05-07/jobs-report-shocking-miss-rips-up-traders-playbooks">reported</a>.
Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-struggles-disastrous-jobs-report-shows-america-is-on-the-right-track">struggled</a> to respond to the jobs report, claiming that it proved that the economy was &#8220;moving in the right direction&#8221; and that it showed &#8220;we’re on the right track.&#8221;

Former Trump administration officials and immigration officials, however, were not falling for the spin and instead slammed the extremely high number as being disastrous for the country.
Former senior Trump immigration adviser Stephen Miller noted that there had been more than a 1,000% increase in the number of illegal aliens apprehended on the southern border in April 2021 under Biden than in April 2020 under Trump.
&#8220;This is what happens you implement Catch-and-Release,&#8221; Miller wrote on Twitter. &#8220;The border of the United States has been erased.&#8221;

&#8220;Just when you think it can’t get worse on the border&#8230;it does,&#8221; Miller <a href="https://twitter.com/StephenM/status/1392270983021699072">added</a>. &#8220;Almost 180K illegal aliens apprehended in April, smashing records set in March. This doesn’t include tens of thousands of got aways who sneak in without being apprehended. Disaster doesn’t even begin to describe it.&#8221;
Former Acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf responded to the new numbers by directly blaming Biden for the crisis, saying that the administration&#8217;s policies, which were implemented despite warnings from top career officials, &#8220;have fueled this crisis.&#8221;
&#8220;The administration has reversed sound immigration policies like the Migrant Protection Protocols, asylum cooperative agreements with Northern Triangle countries, and construction of the border wall system,&#8221; Wolf said. &#8220;These actions will continue to have immense costs not just for our law enforcement, but for working Americans and our communities, as well. Until this administration applies a consequence for coming here illegally, these numbers are going to remain at crisis levels. Make no mistake: this is not just a humanitarian crisis on our border – it is a security crisis that is giving drug cartels and human smugglers a historic opportunity to expand their operations in the Western Hemisphere.&#8221;
Mark Morgan, former acting commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said that Biden&#8217;s actions were a bigger magnet for encouraging illegal immigration to the U.S. than any &#8220;half-hearted words&#8221; from the White House podium discouraging illegal immigration.
&#8220;The message is clear—America’s borders are open,&#8221; Morgan said. &#8220;If you make it to the border as an unaccompanied minor or as part of a family unit, you will likely be released into the interior. Once that happens, the Biden administration will do nothing to remove you, as the plummeting deportation numbers from ICE make clear. In fact, the Biden administration will push to give you the greatest reward of all—American citizenship via amnesty—in response to your lawbreaking.&#8221;
