<p>&#8220;I am pleased to announce that Alina Habba will join my White House Team as Counselor to the President,&#8221; Trump <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/113619912511804788" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> on Truth Social. &#8220;Alina has been a tireless advocate for Justice, a fierce Defender of the Rule of Law, and an invaluable Advisor to my Campaign and Transition Team.&#8221;</p>
<p>Habba &#8220;has been unwavering in her loyalty, and unmatched in her resolve — standing with me through numerous &#8216;trials,&#8217; battles, and countless days in Court. Few understand the Weaponization of the &#8216;Injustice&#8217; System better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of Lawfare with courage and an unshakable commitment to Justice,&#8221; Trump said.</p>

<p>Trump has revealed a number of top White House staff hires after he defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential contest.</p>
<p>Susie Wiles, who served as Trump&#8217;s campaign manager in the 2024 election, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-names-first-ever-female-white-house-chief-of-staff" target="_blank" rel="noopener">picked</a> to be his White House chief of staff. Trump <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-taps-trusted-campaign-official-for-top-white-house-comms-role" target="_blank" rel="noopener">chose</a> his spokesman, Steven Cheung, to be his director of communications. Another spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-will-make-smart-tough-karoline-leavitt-new-press-secretary" target="_blank" rel="noopener">selected</a> to be White House press secretary. There is also Stephen Miller, who will be <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/best-in-class-trump-picks-stephen-miller-for-top-policy-position" target="_blank" rel="noopener">returning</a> to the White House to work as Trump&#8217;s deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser, and David Warrington, the Trump campaign&#8217;s top lawyer, <a href="https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2024/12/04/congress/donald-trump-white-house-counsel-00192611" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tapped</a> to serve as White House counsel.</p>
<p>Trump also unveiled on Sunday a few people he wants to serve at the State Department with his <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-officially-taps-rubio-for-secretary-of-state" target="_blank" rel="noopener">nominee</a> for secretary of state, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).</p>
<p>Michael Anton, who served as National Security Council spokesman during Trump&#8217;s first term, was selected to be director of policy planning at the State Department. Trump said he was picking Michael Needham, who worked as Rubio&#8217;s chief of staff, to serve as counselor of the State Department, and nominating former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Christopher Landau for deputy secretary of state.</p>
