<p>New Republican co-host <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/alyssa-farah-griffin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Alyssa Farah Griffin</a> joined her liberal co-hosts on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;The View&#8221; in a segment devoted almost entirely to bashing Georgia Republican Senate candidate <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/herschel-walker/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Herschel Walker</a>.</p>
<p>Griffin voiced agreement after her co-hosts claimed during Thursday&#8217;s broadcast that Walker had only been chosen as the GOP candidate because he was black — a <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/they-just-said-oh-get-somebody-black-in-there-whoopi-goldberg-calls-georgia-senate-candidate-a-token/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claim</a> that <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/whoopi-goldberg/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Whoopi Goldberg</a> has made in the past.</p>

<p>Goldberg opened the segment by scolding Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who has endorsed Walker and argued that Republicans nominating Walker flew in the face of the liberal narrative claiming that the party was racist.</p>
<p>&#8220;So, here&#8217;s the thing you need to know, Lindsey,&#8221; Goldberg said. &#8220;Just because we see a black person does not mean that we do &#8216;monkey-see, monkey-do.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And I&#8217;m sure that you don&#8217;t know how insulting that is,&#8221; she continued her lecture. &#8220;But let us just say to you, don&#8217;t ever say that again because you look ignorant as hell. Don&#8217;t do that.&#8221;</p>
<p>Goldberg concluded by claiming — despite <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/watch-biden-claims-he-will-choose-female-vp-appoint-first-black-woman-to-the-courts/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">evidence</a> to the <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/psaki-refuses-to-answer-if-kamala-harris-being-considered-for-supreme-court-biden-reiterated-his-commitment-to-nominating-a-black-woman/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">contrary</a> — that Democrats only selected candidates based on qualifications rather than whether they fit into <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/historic-and-deeply-qualified-biden-taps-transgender-pa-health-secretary-dr-rachel-levine-for-assistant-hhs-secretary/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">certain demographics</a>.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s sad that the GOP is using Herschel Walker in that way and he&#8217;s letting himself be used,&#8221; Sunny Hostin said, arguing that the only reason he had gotten the nomination was that Republicans wanted a black man to face off against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA).</p>
<p>Goldberg interrupted, snidely suggesting that Republicans might have chosen Walker &#8220;to fool us, because we can&#8217;t tell each other apart.&#8221;</p>
<p>Griffin responded to the attacks by joining in, suggesting that &#8220;identity politics&#8221; was the only reason Walker had any support at all.</p>

<p>&#8220;I think a lot of Republicans, we criticize Democrats for playing into identity politics, but that&#8217;s kind of exactly what we&#8217;re doing here,&#8221; Griffin said. &#8220;This was not the most qualified candidate by any means to run for the Senate.&#8221;</p>
<p>Griffin went on to complain that Republicans were backing Walker because he was wearing the right team&#8217;s &#8220;jersey&#8221; and claimed they&#8217;d continue to do so if ten or even 15 women came forward with <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/herschel-walker-responds-to-report-he-paid-for-womans-abortion-flat-out-lie/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">accusations</a> against the former pro football player.</p>
<p>She concluded by suggesting that Republicans should instead back candidates like Joe O&#8217;Dea (R-CO) — who is running as a moderate and trails incumbent Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) in most polls by <a href="https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/senate/2022/colorado/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">double digits</a> — and, using Hostin&#8217;s exact words, called Walker &#8220;woefully unqualified.&#8221;</p>
<p>Co-host Joy Behar rounded out the discussion by praising Warnock — a proudly pro-abortion pastor — prompting Goldberg to interrupt and say that Warnock had &#8220;God on his side.&#8221;</p>
<p>None of the co-hosts even acknowledged <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-will-pay-herschel-walker-responds-after-bomb-drops-on-raphael-warnock/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reports</a> that Warnock&#8217;s church, which provides him with a stipend in addition to more than $7000 monthly for a housing allowance, has sued to evict a number of tenants from low-income housing — one for less than $30 in back rent payments.</p>
