<p>The GOP-led <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/u-s-senate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Senate</a> has already scheduled confirmation hearings with many of President-elect <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a>&#8216;s nominees for top roles in his second administration.</p>
<p>Hearings are set to begin next week on Capitol Hill, ahead of Inauguration Day on January 20. Some may last multiple days. Below is a list of the hearings that have been <a href="https://www.senate.gov/committees/hearings_meetings.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">formally announced</a> as of Saturday.</p>
<p>Former Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA), Trump&#8217;s nominee for secretary of veterans affairs, is <a href="https://www.veterans.senate.gov/2025/1/nomination-of-the-honorable-douglas-a-collins-to-be-secretary-of-veterans-affairs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">set</a> to appear before the Veterans&#8217; Affairs Committee on Tuesday, January 14, at 9 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Pete Hegseth, Trump&#8217;s nominee to become secretary of defense, is <a href="https://www.armed-services.senate.gov/hearings/to-conduct-a-confirmation-hearing-on-the-expected-nomination-of-mr-peter-b-hegseth-to-be-secretary-of-defense" target="_blank" rel="noopener">scheduled</a> to get a hearing with the Armed Service Committee on Tuesday, January 14, at 9:30 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>The Energy and National Resources Committee <a href="https://www.energy.senate.gov/hearings/2025/1/hearing-to-consider-the-nomination-of-the-honorable-doug-burgum-to-be-secretary-of-the-interior" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> a hearing with former North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Trump&#8217;s pick for secretary of interior, for Tuesday, January 14, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, Trump&#8217;s pick for homeland security secretary, is expected to appear for a <a href="https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/hearings/nomination-of-kristi-noem/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hearing</a> with the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee on Wednesday, January 15, at 9 a.m. ET.</p>

<p>The Judiciary Committee <a href="https://x.com/AndrewDesiderio/status/1877146253265457469" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> the <a href="https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/committee-activity/hearings/the-nomination-of-the-honorable-pamela-jo-bondi-to-be-attorney-general-of-the-united-states" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hearing</a> for Pam Bondi, Trump&#8217;s pick to be U.S. attorney general, will take place on Wednesday, January 15, at 9:30 a.m. ET and Thursday, January 16, at 10:15 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Chris Wright, Trump&#8217;s nominee for secretary of energy, is <a href="https://www.energy.senate.gov/hearings/2025/1/hearing-to-consider-the-nomination-of-mr-chris-wright-to-be-secretary-of-energy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">slated</a> to appear before the Energy and National Resources Committee on Wednesday, January 15, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Former Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI), Trump&#8217;s choice to become secretary of transportation, is <a href="https://www.commerce.senate.gov/2025/1/full-committee-nomination-hearing_2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">set</a> to testify before the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee on Wednesday, January 15, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>The Senate Intelligence Committee <a href="https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/hearings?hearingId=4133" target="_blank" rel="noopener">scheduled</a> a hearing for former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, Trump&#8217;s pick to become CIA director, to take place on Wednesday, January 15, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who is Trump&#8217;s nominee for secretary of state, is <a href="https://www.foreign.senate.gov/hearings/nominations-01-15-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">poised</a> to appear for his hearing held by the Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday, January 15, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is <a href="https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/hearings/nomination-of-russell-vought/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">expected</a> to bring in Trump&#8217;s pick to return as Office of Management and Budget director, Russell Vought, on Wednesday, January 15, at 1 p.m. ET.</p>
<p>Former Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY), the nominee to become administrator of the EPA, is <a href="https://www.epw.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/hearings?ID=2A6B7804-B26D-4F76-AF8F-0819571891DF" target="_blank" rel="noopener">scheduled</a> to appear before the Environment and Public Works Committee on Thursday, January 16, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>The Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee <a href="https://www.banking.senate.gov/hearings/01/09/2025/nomination-hearing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> a hearing for Scott Turner, Trump&#8217;s nominee for secretary of housing and urban development, will take place on Thursday, January 16, at 10 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Scott Bessent, Trump&#8217;s pick for treasury secretary, is <a href="https://www.finance.senate.gov/hearings/hearing-to-consider-the-anticipated-nomination-of-scott-bessent-of-south-carolina-to-be-secretary-of-the-treasury" target="_blank" rel="noopener">poised</a> to testify before the Finance Committee on Thursday, January 16, at 10:30 a.m. ET.</p>
<p>Some nominees have yet to receive an official date for a hearing, including FBI director nominee Kash Patel and Robert F. Kennedy, Trump&#8217;s pick to become secretary of Health and Human Services.</p>
<p>The confirmation hearing that had been scheduled for next week with former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), Trump&#8217;s pick for director of national intelligence, was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-says-dems-will-try-all-sorts-of-tricks-to-delay-cabinet-confirmations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">delayed</a> by Senate Democrats.</p>
