She’s in the business of misery for her conservative fans.

Alternative rock band Paramore’s lead singer Hayley Williams made her political leanings clear during a performance at the Adjacent Music Festival in Atlantic City, New Jersey, over Memorial Day weekend.

“I’ll be happy to tell you I’m very f***ing comfortable talking politics,” the 34-year-old singer-songwriter told the crowd. “And if you vote for Ron DeSantis, you’re f***ing dead to me,” Williams continued. “So, is that comfortable enough for anyone?”

Her proclamation was met with mostly cheers from the audience.

Though the rock artist was addressing criticism that she didn’t express her political views enough, Williams previously showed off her leftist leanings by opposing legislation that would protect minors from permanently disfiguring “gender-affirming” surgeries.

“Drag is not a crime. Gender-affirming health care for all, including our youth, is a necessity,” the Paramore lead singer shared with her 3.5 million Instagram followers in February.

“Once again our state has passed two regressive and unfathomably harmful bills. We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ family and local LGBTQIA+ orgs in this fight, not only for inclusion for our friends & family in the queer community, but for radical acceptance and empowerment for each of them,” she wrote.

On May 30, the singer posted photos of herself wearing a shirt that said: “Abort the Supreme Court.”

Williams isn’t the first recording artist to openly criticize fans with different political opinions. In June 2022, pop star Pink slammed her conservative fans following the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court.

“Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay persons business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F***ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN,” Pink shared to social media on June 25, the day after the landmark Dobbs decision.

After getting a lot of criticism, the singer followed up with another tweet. “I think all of our nerves are collectively fried from so many years of racism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. +pandemics, mass shootings, wars and the total lunacy, hypocrisy, ignorance of the GOP-it’s all a bit much. But we will stick together. Good will prevail over evil,” she wrote.
