Rihanna just edged out Kim Kardashian to become the youngest female self-made billionaire in America, according to a New York Post report.

The 34-year-old Grammy Award winner secured her spot on Forbes’ annual list of America’s richest self-made women for the third year in a row with a net worth of $1.4 billion. She earned the money thanks to her musical career, but most of the revenue came from selling products via her Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, and Savage X Fenty lingerie line.

Rihanna is the 21st overall richest self-made woman and the only billionaire under 40 on the list.

The next-youngest billionaire who made the cut is Kardashian, 41, boasting a net worth of $1.8 billion. Kardashian’s younger sister Kylie Jenner originally was the youngest billionaire per Forbes in 2018 but later had that title rescinded when it turned out her net worth was lower than initially estimated.

Per the Post, Savage X Fenty is worth $3 billion, with Rihanna owning 30% of that.

The “Umbrella” singer also owns 50% of Fenty Beauty, which earned $550 million in 2020. LVMH owns the other half of the company, the publication noted.

Rihanna recently welcomed her first child with rapper ASAP Rocky. She drew attention by wearing revealing outfits throughout her pregnancy, saying it was a chance to marvel at what her body was doing.

“My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that,” she said, according to The Daily Wire. “This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”

“I’m like waiting for the ball to drop cause I hear all these horror stories, right?” she said before giving birth. “And then I’m just like, but I’m having a good time. You know? I’m really enjoying it. It’s a journey that’s never going to end, you know?”

“Like it just continues even afterwards,” Rihanna said. “So, I’m looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to being a teacher. But mostly being a student, cause I think I’m gonna be learning more from my kid than I could ever teach them.”

Despite her love of being pregnant and becoming a mother, Rihanna is also a staunch abortion advocate who has made no secret of her stance on the issue. She founded the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012, a nonprofit organization that has worked with the International Planned Parenthood Federation.

In 2019, she lambasted Republicans in Alabama for passing the Human Life Protection Act, which outlaws most abortions with an exception if a mother’s life is at risk.

“Take a look. These are the idiots making decisions for WOMEN in America,” she tweeted alongside photographs of the lawmakers. “Governor Kay Ivey…SHAME ON YOU!!!!”
