Abortion activist Rihanna opened up about her pregnancy and said she thinks she’s “gonna be learning more from” her kid than she “could ever teach them.”
During a photoshoot for the May Vogue issue, the “Umbrella” hitmaker posed in a variety of revealing belly-baring outfits as she reminisced about the last few months and how much she’s enjoying pregnancy.
“Excited by the challenge and also very accepting of it,” she said. “And I’ve surrendered to my journey and I’m enjoying it.”
“I’m like waiting for the ball to drop cause I hear all these horror stories, right?” she added. “And then I’m just like, but I’m having a good time. You know? I’m really enjoying it. It’s a journey that’s never going to end, you know?”
“Like it just continues even afterwards,” the “Diamonds” hitmaker continued. “So, I’m looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to being a teacher. But mostly being a student, cause I think I’m gonna be learning more from my kid than I could ever teach them.”

In the upcoming issue, the “We Found Love” hitmaker shares how excited she and boyfriend, rapper A$AP Rocky, are for the arrival of their child. She shared in January that the two were expecting their first child together.
“My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that,” she said. “This time should feel celebratory. Because why should you be hiding your pregnancy?”
As previously reported by the Daily Wire, Rihanna previously reflected on what she’s called her “rebellious” maternity looks and admitted she’s basically “challenged” herself to “push it further” than others had before.
“It’s been me personally saying, I’m not going to buy maternity clothes,” the superstar singer shared, reported Bustle in a recent piece. “I’m not gonna buy maternity pants, jeans, dresses, or [do] whatever society told me to do before.”
“When I saw women dress during their pregnancy [in the past], I’d think that that was the only way,” she added, noting she called her style “rebellious.” “So, I challenged myself to push it further and really just have fun with [maternity style]. Because there’s nothing more fun than a challenge for me.”
“Like that’s where I get creative,” the “Diamonds” hitmaker continued. “That’s where I’m forced to come up with new ideas and new ways to make it work.”

In 2012, the singer founded the nonprofit organization The Clara Lionel Foundation. It has worked with the International Planned Parenthood Federation, which is the largest provider of abortions in the nation.
