When I was 22-years-old, I packed up my life in Poland and moved to the United States to pursue my dreams by attending the Berklee College of Music in Boston. I didn’t know exactly what my future would hold, but I knew music would be a big part of it. 
Little did I know that my future would also include a sweet baby boy and an encounter with a pregnancy resource center that would change my life for the better.
I found out I was expecting a baby during my last semester at Berklee. Even though we decided to start a family, the father of the child was sometimes silent and would become distant. Then, he would come back into the picture again. I started to experience many serious issues in my relationship with the father of my baby, so I ended up in need of support from family and friends. 
Finally, I decided we shouldn’t be together, but I didn’t realize the consequences of refusing to be with my baby’s father would be so huge and would have so much impact on my financial situation.
Thankfully, when I was seven months pregnant, a friend connected me with Boston Center for Pregnancy Choices (BCPC), a pregnancy resource center that provides free resources and support for pregnant women in need. At the time, I was living in Woburn, MA, with an electric scooter as my only form of transportation. My job helped make ends meet, but I couldn’t afford a car. In order to get to the center, I had to take a train, a bus, and then the subway. While it was a long journey, I was determined to find support for my baby and me.
I was exhausted when I finally walked through the center doors, but the warmth from the BCPC staff energized me and made me hopeful for the months ahead.
BCPC explained the three options available to pregnant women. Despite always having my mind made up to raise my child with or without the father, it was helpful to understand all the options and resources that were available.
Unbeknownst to me, while I was visiting the center, a local pastor decided to donate a car to BCPC and was looking for a deserving candidate. Both the center and the pastor agreed that I would be the perfect recipient.
For me, receiving that car was life changing. It allowed me to go where I wanted and do what I needed in order to better provide for myself and my child. For the first time, I did not have to depend on anyone else for reliable transportation. While it may have just been a car to others, it was a whole new world of freedom and endless possibilities for me.
A few months later, I gave birth to my beautiful son Nathaniel and continued to receive support from BCPC. The staff regularly visited us and provided everything that a new mother would need. I received a new rocking chair, diapers, wipes, clothes and various other baby supplies at no cost. The donated car continued to help with my transition to motherhood by allowing me to drive Nathaniel to doctor appointments and daycare.
The women at the center did not owe me anything, but out of the kindness of their hearts, they gave my child and me unconditional love and support. No matter what challenges I experienced, BCPC was there for Nathaniel and me. BCPC’s support gave me the confidence, knowledge, and freedom to make my own decisions for both me and my child.
Nathaniel is now almost a year old, and we have since moved to Nashville so I could pursue my dream of being a songwriter — something that never would have happened without my own car and the generosity of BCPC.
My life is currently full of music, just as I had planned. But it now has the added bonus of also including a beautiful baby boy and a group of supportive women at BCPC who are like family to me.
I am grateful that centers like BCPC exist, and I believe that our government officials should put more effort into making society aware of the existence of these centers and how much they can help people like me and other mothers.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/taylor-swift">Taylor Swift</a> finally broke her silence on the alleged terror plot in Vienna earlier this month that led to her having to cancel three shows in Austria following the foiled attack at her concert.
In a lengthy post on Wednesday on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C-8sKGYymIC/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=c9a7024e-a077-4158-8be8-3ab3e2d75cb2">Instagram</a>, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/taylor-swift-shows-in-austria-canceled-following-arrest-of-two-suspects-in-concert-attack-terror-plot">34-year-old singer</a> said she had officially wrapped the European leg of “The Eras Tour” as she praised the “passionate crowds” who came out and thanked her crew and fellow performers for making it possible.
“Walking onstage in London was a rollercoaster of emotions,” Swift wrote. “Having our Vienna shows canceled was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows.”
“But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives,” she added. “I was heartened by the love and unity I saw in the fans who banded together. I decided that all of my energy had to go toward helping to protect the nearly half a million people I had coming to see the shows in London.”
“My team and I worked hand in hand with stadium staff and British authorities every day in pursuit of that goal, and I want to thank them for everything they did for us,” Swift continued. “Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows.”
The “Shake It Off” hitmaker said by remaining silent until the European part of the tour wrapped up, she was “actually showing restraint” and that it was right to wait to express herself.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/katy-perry">Katy Perry</a>’s record label Capitol Records hit back at claims that the singer had filmed a music video on protected dunes on a Spanish Island, saying they were given approval prior to shooting.
Following an investigation by Spain authorities into the 39-year-old singer allegedly filming her video “Lifetimes” at the dunes of S’Espalmador without permission, her label said it had been told verbally it was fine a day before the shoot, <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/pop-culture-news/katy-perry-video-investigated-filming-protected-spanish-sand-dunes-lab-rcna166476">NBC</a> reported.
A rep for the record label said that the music video production company, WeOwnTheCity, “assured us that all necessary permits for the video were secured.”
“We have since learned that one permit was in process, although we were given verbal authority to go ahead,” the spokesperson said. “Our local crew on July 22 applied for a permit for this specific location with the Directorate-General For Coasts And Coastline.”
“Our crew received verbal approval on July 26 to proceed with the filming on July 27,” the label rep added. “We adhered to all regulations associated with filming in this area and have the utmost respect for this location and the officials tasked with protecting it.”
In the video, Perry can be seen dancing on the islands of Ibiza and Formentera and in nightclubs. Her video shoot was partially filmed on the island, which contains sand dunes that the Spanish government says have “great ecological value,” <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c20411z4q34o">according</a> to the BBC.

During an interview on <a href="https://x.com/HonestlyGifted/status/1823778140524564635">CBS Sunday Mornings</a>, Malone opened up a bit about how different his life has been since he and his longtime partner welcomed a daughter into the world in 2022.
&#8220;I&#8217;ll never forget her. If you heard her cry, you&#8217;ll never forget her, either,&#8221; said the 29-year-old Malone, who was born with the name Austin Post. &#8220;It changes you in the best way ever. And the most beautiful thing is she has a beautiful mom.&#8221;
When asked if his daughter saved his life, Malone said, &#8220;That&#8217;s true.&#8221; He added, &#8220;Her and her mom.&#8221;
&#8220;Four years ago,&#8221; Malone said, &#8220;I was on a rough path.&#8221; The rapper said he was dealing with loneliness. “That’s been on the QT [quiet] though?” Stern asked after the rapper talked about how he had “kissed” his “baby girl” before recently heading to the recording studio.
“We didn’t know you had a daughter, right?” the host repeated, and got confirmation about the child’s birth from the rapper himself.
During an interview in 2023 with CR Fashion Book, Malone made it clear he doesn’t want his young daughter or fiancée anywhere near the spotlight, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/post-malone-explains-why-he-keeps-young-daughter-away-from-cameras-people-feel-entitled">reported</a>.
“I feel like a lot of people feel entitled to know every single detail of everyone’s life and it’s why I don’t want to post any pictures of my baby, because I want her to be able to make that decision whenever she wants to and is ready,” Malone said.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/dr-dre-threatens-marjorie-taylor-greene-with-legal-action-she-fires-back-in-response">Dr. Dre</a> has partnered with a public school system in Los Angeles, where he and entrepreneur Jimmy Iovine will open a new high school in an area where other schools face closure by June 2025.
The music mogul and Iovine announced the opening of the <a href="https://iovineandyoungcenter.org/">Iovine and Young Center Academy</a> in Inglewood, with the school set to open in August 2025 as part of the Inglewood Unified School District, the <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-08-13/dr-dre-jimmy-iovine-to-open-high-school-in-inglewood">Los Angeles Times</a> reported. Five other school closures are a possibility in the district due to its financial troubles.
“We wanted to start in the inner city, because Dre and especially me, I owe a lot to the inner city of Los Angeles and we intend to pay it back,” Iovine told the Times.
“We believe that this will differentiate them in the workforce and colleges,” he added, per <a href="https://www.foxla.com/news/dr-dre-opens-new-school-academy-inglewood">FOX 11</a>. “To go out and say you have an education in disciplinary learning, being able to collaborate with different disciplines and innovate is an advantage.”
“[Dr. Dre and Iovine] will be investing in state of the art technology, professional development for staff, and any requisite campus improvements necessary to create the new academy,” district spokesperson Jessica Ochoa said.

The Young Academy will be located on the campus of Crozier Middle School, which is supposed to close in 2025. It is expected to open to ninth-grade students in Aug. 2025 and will eventually expand until it includes 12th graders for the 2028-2029 school year.
Families living in the Inglewood district have opted to send their kids out of the area to charter schools or other districts after Inglewood faced fiscal mismanagement and declining enrollment.
The announcement marks the second such public school venture for Dre and Iovine after the two opened a high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Times noted.

Former <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">President Donald Trump</a> and his campaign have been sued by the family of late singer/songwriter Isaac Hayes for what it said was the unauthorized use of one of Hayes’ songs at presidential “campaign rallies from 2022-2024.”
Hayes’ family is demanding “not less than” a &#8220;$3 million payment&#8221; in licensing fees from Trump and his campaign for using the song the late singer co-wrote with David Portner in 1966 for Sam &amp; Dave, called “Hold on, I’m Coming,” at his rallies, the <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politics-news/isaac-hayes-family-sues-trump-campaign-hold-on-im-coming-1235972088/">Hollywood Reporter</a> reported.
“We the family of @_isaachayes Isaac Hayes Enterprises, represented by Walker &amp; Associates, are suing Donald Trump and his campaign for 134 counts copyright infringement for the unauthorized use of the song ‘Hold on, I’m Coming’ at campaign rallies from 2022-2024,” <a href="https://x.com/isaachayes/status/1822749426642735492">the official Isaac Hayes account posted on X</a> read.
“We demand the cessation of use, removal of all related videos, a public disclaimer, and payment of $3 million in licensing fees by August 16, 2024,” the letter added, per THR. “Failure to comply will result in further legal action.”

“Music Publishing is probably the most valuable asset in music. Copyright termination returns that publishing back to the heirs of the songwriter after several years,” the Grammy winner’s son wrote.
“<a href="https://www.instagram.com/_isaachayes/">@_isaachayes</a> wrote hundreds of songs and has been sampled thousands of times,” he added. “‘Hold On I’m Coming” is just one [of] multiple Isaac Hayes hits. To think that Donald Trump has anything to do with the success of a song that’s been a hit for over 58 years is laughable all the way to the bank. Hold on to your publishing.”
The Hayes’ family action was only the latest one from an artist upset about Trump choosing to use their music at his various campaign rallies. 
On Saturday, it was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celine-dion">Celine Dion</a>’s management team on behalf of Dion and her record label who released a statement about how her song, “My Heart Will Go On,” from the “Titanic” soundtrack, was played at the Trump-JD Vance rally in Bozeman on Friday, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/really-that-song-celine-dion-gets-mad-at-trump-for-titanic-rally-music-choice">reported</a>.
“Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorized usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana,” the statement read.  
“In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” the statement added. “…And really, THAT song?”

Legendary country singer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/johnny-cash-album-with-never-before-heard-tracks-coming-this-summer">Johnny Cash</a>’s statue is headed to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., where he will be immortalized in bronze for future generations.
In a letter from Congress, the official unveiling of the “Man in Black” statue is set to take place September 24 at 11 a.m. in the National Statuary Hall, the <a href="https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/the-us-capitol-is-getting-a-statue-of-johnny-cash-180984834/">Smithsonian magazine</a> reported.
The 8-foot-tall Arkansas native’s statue will be joined by one honoring civil rights leader Daisy Bates whose statue <a href="https://www.aoc.gov/explore-capitol-campus/art/daisy-bates-statue">debuted</a> in May. The hall displays statues of two well known residents from each state.
Cash and Bates&#8217; statues will replace two others that honored residents from Arkansas &#8212; 1800s attorney Uriah Milton Rose and Governor and Senator James P. Clark &#8212; following a vote in 2019 by the Arkansas General Assembly.
Former Governor of Arkansas Asa Hutchins <a href="https://www.npr.org/2024/05/11/1250756743/arkansass-new-statues-at-the-u-s-capitol-are-of-daisy-bates-and-johnny-cash">said of the new statues</a> that the previous ones are connected to individuals who don’t “mean anything to contemporary Americans. And of course, if you dig deep into their history, they do have a racist history that is not reflective at all of Arkansas.”

Little Rock sculptor Kevin Kreese was tasked with making the Cash bronze statue and previously said that he was thrilled with the state’s decision to represent a musician like Cash rather than a “power politician from the early 1800s.”

The legendary country singer died in 2003 at the age of 71. But years after his passing, fans got a treat when the album “Songwriter” was released in June, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/johnny-cash-album-with-never-before-heard-tracks-coming-this-summer">reported</a>.
It contains 11 unreleased songs the late country star wrote and recorded back in 1993, but ended up shelving after he met with producer Rick Rubin and the two instead opted to focus on their musical partnership, the <a href="https://www.tennessean.com/story/entertainment/music/2024/04/23/johnny-cash-album-with-never-before-heard-tracks-coming-this-summer/73427775007/">Tennessean</a> noted.
The album was produced by musician John Carter Cash, the son of Johnny and June Carter Cash, and co-produced by David “Fergie” Ferguson. The two “stripped” the songs “back to just Johnny’s powerful, pristine vocals, and acoustic guitar,” <a href="https://www.southernliving.com/johnny-cash-new-album-songwriter-8638253">Southern Living</a> noted.
Some of the other artists who are also on the album with Cash include the late Waylon Jennings, country singer Vince Gill, guitarist Marty Stuart, and The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/justin-timberlake">Justin Timberlake</a> had his license suspended following his DWI (driving while intoxicated) arrest in June in New York and his attorney was threated with a gag order.
The 43-year-old pop star appeared virtually on Friday where he pleaded not guilty for a second time to the charge in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court, <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/justin-timberlakes-license-suspended-dwi-hearing-judge-threatens-gag-o-rcna164841">NBC News</a> reported.
During the hearing, Justice Carl Irace announced that the pop star’s out-of-state New York license would be suspended because Timberlake refused to take a breathalyzer test on June 18 when he was pulled over, the outlet noted.
The judge also blasted the singer’s attorney, Edward Burke, for his “irresponsible” comments, claiming that it “comes off as an attempt to poison the case before it even begins,” NBC News noted.

Justice Irace even threatened Burke with a gag order if he continued to make such comments. However, the judge never shared exactly what those comments were, the outlet noted.
The hearing took place after Burke claimed the case would be dismissed, alleging the police screwed up when they arrested Timberlake, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/justin-timberlake-lawyer-argues-in-court-singer-wasnt-intoxicated-during-dwi-arrest">reported</a>. At the time, Burke told the court that his client was “not intoxicated” when he was arrested.
“The police made a number of very significant errors in this case,&#8221; Burke said in his statement. “Justin respects law enforcement and the very important job that they do. He cooperated with the police officers at all times and treated them with the respect they deserve.”

“He also respects the entire judicial process including the District Attorney and Judge who were in court today,” he added. “But the fact remains, he was not intoxicated and they made an error in arresting him for it. We are confident that this charge will be dismissed.”
Surveillance footage from the night of the arrest shows Timberlake’s 2025 BMW driving down a deserted street near the American Hotel in Sag Harbor in the Hamptons. The arrest report says Timberlake was stopped after a police officer noticed him ignoring a stop sign and “fail[ing] to keep on the right side of the roadway,” <a href="https://people.com/justin-timberlake-photo-shows-driving-before-dwi-arrest-8665820">People</a> noted.
The officer reported that Timberlake’s “eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”
The report also noted that Timberlake said, “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”
The “Cry Me a River” singer was charged with one count of driving while intoxicated and was given citations for running a stop sign and failure to keep in lane.
The next hearing Timberlake might need to appear at will take place September 13, NBC News noted.

Their most recent “Peace Out.. Aerosmith postponed future dates after a show in Elmont, NY, in September 2023 but has now decided to cancel those missed tour stops for good.
“It was 1970 when a spark of inspiration became Aerosmith. Thanks to you, our Blue Army, that spark caught flame and has been burning for over five decades. Some of you have been with us since the beginning and all of you are the reason we made rock ‘n’ roll history,” the band shared in a statement.

“Five days a week I undergo athletic, physical and vocal therapy,” she added. “I work on my toes, my knees, my calves, my fingers, my singing, my voice … I have to learn to live with it now and stop questioning myself. “I have this illness for some unknown reason,” the legendary singer continued. “The way I see it, I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and work super hard, or I switch off and it’s over, I stay at home, listen to my songs, stand in front of my mirror and sing to myself. I’ve chosen to work with all my body and soul, from head to toe, with a medical team. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again!”
The “All By Myself” <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/celine-dion-reveals-heartbreaking-news-about-her-health">singer</a> and mother of three — who revealed her diagnosis after canceling several of her concerts — said she is able to keep fighting thanks to all the love of her family, children, and fans.
“People who suffer from SPS may not be lucky enough or have the means to have good doctors and good treatments,” Dion said. “I have those means, and this is a gift. What’s more, I have this strength within me. I know that nothing is going to stop me.”

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/taylor-swift">Taylor Swift</a> has been dethroned from the top of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/music">Billboard charts</a>, ending any hopes she had of maintaining the number one album for a record number of weeks.
It happened when <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/eminem">Eminem</a>’s latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. This knocked Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” out of the premier position after 12 weeks. 
The “Cruel Summer” singer’s latest album debuted at number one in April and over the past three months, it did break the record for the longest-running number one album by a female artist. That title previously belonged to Whitney Houston for her 1987 album “Whitney,” per the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/taylor-swift-eminem-billboard-charts-6293aab7b77be26c4a7ecd8b14f43302">Associated Press</a>.
The album that remained number one for the longest time overall at 13 consecutive weeks is Stevie Wonder’s “Songs in the Key of Life” from 1976, which remained at the top of the chart for 14 weeks total.
“The Tortured Poets Department” tied Morgan Wallen’s 2023 album “One Thing at a Time,” which also debuted in the top spot and remained there for 12 consecutive weeks.
Eminem’s latest album is his 12th release and 11th album to debut at number one. 
Swift is currently still touring the world as part of her massively popular Eras Tour, which she recently admitted will come to an end later this year.
“A lot of you are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?&#8217;” Swift said during a Liverpool performance in June, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/taylor-swift-confirms-that-eras-tour-is-coming-to-an-end">reported</a>. “The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December.”
“That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us,” she continued. “It’s taken over everything.”
“I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore because all I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mashups,” Swift said. “Just know that I appreciate every single ounce of effort that you’ve put into being with us when this tour reaches triple digits of shows — so thank you.”
