<p style="font-weight: 400;">Out of nine immigrants convicted in the case of a gang rape of a 15-year-old girl in Hamburg&#8217;s city park in September 2020, only one was sentenced to prison time by a German regional court, according to reports.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The court found all nine men — who reportedly hailed from Afghanistan, Armenia, Egypt, Iran, Kuwait, Libya, and Poland — guilty, but only one got prison time; two years and nine months in prison without parole, while the others were suspended on probation or preliminary probation.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The court said the convicted men, now between the ages of 19 and 23, dragged the girl into a bush at the park, where four of them raped her, two more sexually abused her, and then three more also sexually abused her. “Traces of semen from all of them were found on the victim,” Voice of Europe <a href="https://www.voiceofeurope.com/germany-8-of-9-migrants-convicted-of-ganging-raping-15-year-old-avoid-jail-time/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>, adding, “Witnesses reported two videos documenting the crimes, which were deleted immediately after the crime. Neither the police nor the court could therefore use the recordings as evidence.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">BILD reported that the defendants showed no remorse during the trial, and their attorneys contended they were affected by testosterone.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“This was a mammoth circumstantial trial in which it was not clear for a long time what had happened on the night of September 19th to 20th, 2020,” <a href="https://jungefreiheit.de/politik/deutschland/2023/migranten-vergewaltigen-15jaehrige-und-kommen-fast-alle-mit-bewaehrung-davon/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> presiding judge Anne Meier-Göring.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Horrifying events <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rape-free-zone-germany-have-safe-zone-women-after-ryan-saavedra" target="_blank" rel="noopener">occurred in Germany</a> during 2015 New Year’s Eve Celebrations, in which over a thousand women were sexually assaulted by migrants.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Initially, there was silence from German authorities about the events that transpired in 2015 before reports started to surface that a few hundred women were assaulted. However, several months later, documents were leaked that showed authorities believed approximately 2,000 men, many of whom were newly-arrived migrants from the Middle East and North Africa, sexually assaulted more than 1,200 women during the celebrations in several German cities, <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/07/10/leaked-document-says-2000-men-allegedly-assaulted-1200-german-women-on-new-years-eve" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Washington Post</a> reported.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The <a href="http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-42502984" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BBC</a> reported that hundreds of women were “attacked by gangs of men with migrant backgrounds,” which came after well over one million refugees descended upon Germany in 2015 from the Middle East and North Africa.</p>
