An ad released today by the Hillary Clinton campaign – the second narrated by Morgan Freeman – lists off the names of faux black martyrs exploited by the left via the Black Lives Matter movement to portray America as a deeply racist society hostile towards them.
With a somber piano melody sounding as if extracted from a mournful movie portraying the Holocaust, Clinton’s voice is processed to sound echoing and distant as she reads the names Trayvon Martin, Dontre Hamilton, and Sandra Bland.
Transitioning to images of her with President Barack Obama, Clinton again furthers her campaign narrative of being more aligned with the First Black President than her opponent Senator Bernie Sanders. Clinton’s efforts to characterize Sanders as disloyal to Obama is a clear attempt to benefit from what she views as a strong sense of racial loyalty felt by blacks towards the President.
Both the Clinton and Sanders campaigns have attempted to outflank one another in the dimension of solidarity with the left’s narrative of black victimhood.
Trayvon Martin’s, mother Syrbrina Fulton, quickly became political following the death of her son, denigrating America for what she describes as widespread anti-black racism while refusing to acknowledge any personal responsibility or failings on her son’s behalf. She has endorsed Clinton.
Lucia Macbath, the mother of Jordan Davis, has also endorsed Clinton.
Clinton has also met with professional racial agitator and riot organizer Deray McKesson as well activist Al Sharpton.
The Black Lives Matter narrative framing blacks as an oppressed group within America has been endorsed and co-opted by Islamist terrorists groups.
Back in August of last year, Clinton told Black Lives Matter agitators that she did not believe in winning over hearts and minds, but rather subscribed to the vision of using the iron fist of government to force compliance towards furthering the so-called “anti-racist” agenda and addressing “racial injustice.”
“Look, I don’t believe you change hearts. I believe you change laws, you change allocation of resources, you change the way systems operate,” said Clinton.
