On Monday, a California-based male feminist published an apology to women on behalf of men. 
Entitled &#8220;Letter to the Divine Feminine From the Wounded Masculine,&#8221; Adam Rubin frames women as oppressed relative to and by men across human history and into the present.

Pain passed down thru generations.

Your bodies shamed.

And as fear-based emotions stew within, they mold into fear-based actions.
Anger.
Abuse.
Violence.
And eventually, they are released in a rage of fury upon the women of the world.
And this deafening silence is passed down from fathers to sons, one generation after another.
But it stops here.
It&#8217;s time for us as men to put an end to the oppression, and provide the divine feminine with the pure unconditional love that she deserves.
The only way we stop inflicting these wounds, is to heal our own.
And as the Wounded Masculine heals, the Divine Masculine steps forward.
Out of the shadows, and into his light.
It&#8217;s time for us to heal that which has been hidden.
To nurture that which has been neglected.
To speak that which has been shamed.
Calling forward all men to acknowledge the pain and hurt which has moved them to hurt others, and inviting them to step into a space where we share and express and heal this pain.
A safe space, where we truly listen and lead with love over fear.
So we can finally replace all the anger and abuse and violence it&#8217;s been causing, and transmute it back into our only truth:
Love.
And as we heal our own pain and come back to love, we finally provide the space for the divine feminine to heal the wounds we have inflicted upon her.

Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during Wednesday&#8217;s CNN-hosted <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/11/politics/bernie-sanders-ted-cruz-tax-reform-debate/index.html">town hall debate</a> in Washington, D.C.
Sanders could not or would not answer the question; &#8220;I don&#8217;t know the answer to that,&#8221; said the self-described &#8220;democratic socialist&#8221; senator from Vermont.
Sanders heralded &#8220;Denmark, and Sweden, and Norway, and Finland,&#8221; falsely framing the Scandinavian countries as having a &#8220;higher standard of living&#8221; than America.
America&#8217;s &#8220;free enterprise system,&#8221; said Cruz, has been history&#8217;s greatest generator of prosperity, adding, &#8220;Bernie likes to glorify socialism, but if you look at the greatest engine of prosperity the world has ever seen, it&#8217;s the American free enterprise system. There&#8217;s a reason millions of people risk their lives to come here.&#8221;
Socialist government policies, said Cruz, stultify economic development and exacerbate poverty.
At no point in the debate did Cruz describe Sanders as a communist or neo-Marxist. The Texas senator also neglected to specify &#8220;class warfare&#8221; as Sanders&#8217; political tactic in appealing to jealousy and covetousness.

Portraying the narrative of Russian propaganda as &#8220;[helping] elect Donald Trump,&#8221; Sustein ignores the close similarities between the conventional anti-Americanism of Russian state propaganda and neo-Marxist narratives ubiquitous across the left-wing and Democrat-aligned news media landscape:

In a debate in which his opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) referred to the Koch brothers twelve times, Sen. Ted. Cruz (R-TX) wrecked Democrats&#8217; attempts to &#8220;scaremonger&#8221; about the dangers of big money in politics. 
Political funding for Democrats and the broader left eclipses that for Republicans and the broader right, said Cruz on Wednesday during a CNN-hosted <a href="http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1710/18/se.01.html">town hall debate</a> in Washington, D.C.
Cruz noted that the <a href="https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/">largest political donors</a> primarily fund Democrats:
<blockquote>
You know, there&#8217;s a pattern you see of Democrats, which is they try to scaremonger. And so their latest villain is the Koch brothers, and they say this money and politics is what it&#8217;s all about. 
But, you know, John Adams said facts are stubborn things. Here are some facts. You look at 2014. In 2014, of the top 20 groups that gave money to politics, I guess listening to Bernie they were all Republican, no? That&#8217;s not the case. Sixteen of the top 20 gave primarily to Democrats. 
The top six, ActBlue, Tom Steyer, the Carpenters and Joiners Union, the City of New York, the Democratic Governors Association, the NEA, gave almost exclusively to Democrats. Where did these mysterious Koch brothers fall on the list? Number 59.

Cruz did not describe the operational budgets of news media outlets such as CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, or BuzzFeed as broadly funding Democrat and left-wing political agitation.

Cruz described Sanders and fellow neo-Marxist traveler Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MS) as &#8220;the heart of the Democratic Party.&#8221;

Leftist students at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) shut down a Republican student chapter meeting on Tuesday &#8212; and eventually got themselves arrested.
The leftist agitators repeatedly derided the meeting&#8217;s attendees as &#8220;racist&#8221; and promoting &#8220;white supremacy.&#8221; Via incoherent statement, the leader of the leftwing students derided the campus Republican meeting&#8217;s attendees: 
<blockquote>
These folks are preventing folks from their everyday lives, not just studying, all, everything, safety on campus, whatever it is that they are engaging in, and so I feel like this group should be asked to leave, actually&#8230;
I think if you understand what their ideologies are, and how you feel safety really is, how you feel education, how you feel learning really is, students can&#8217;t be studying when their lives are being f***ing discriminated against, f***ing like, pushed out of the way.
</blockquote>
&#8220;They had a slug with a Trump hat on it,&#8221; added the apparent left-wing leader, presumably describing some slug-like bauble. &#8220;So they agree with Trump and white supremacy,&#8221; she added.
The leftist leader urged what appeared to be a library employee to shut down the meeting:

Can you step outside of your role, right now, and your job position? You don&#8217;t have to follow the rules, ever. You can do whatever you want, right now. You know that you can do whatever you want, right now. Follow that personal struggle, I know what kind of situation you&#8217;re in. I&#8217;ve had to work for the university before, but follow your heart. Don&#8217;t follow the f***ing rules.

Another protester derided the meeting&#8217;s participants:

Your existence is a disturbance. You&#8217;re a disturbance to every marginalized person in this country. Do you understand what a Republican is? Your life is not on the line. It&#8217;s gonna help if these motherf***ers leave, and we don&#8217;t let f***ing racists on this campus. That&#8217;s what&#8217;s gonna help&#8230; You are racists&#8230; Communists aren&#8217;t f***ing racists.

The activist described &#8220;build a wall&#8221; as a &#8220;racist&#8221; slogan.
The meeting&#8217;s attendees were ultimately asked to leave to end the left-wing disturbance.
Three of the student activists &#8212; two of which are Student Union Assembly officers &#8212; were eventually arrested by police, according to <a href="https://www.campusreform.org/?ID=9986">Campus Reform</a>, which provided some background to the disturbance:

One of the ringleaders of the protest was student activist Haik Adamian, who posted an announcement in the official UCSC Student Facebook group calling on students to deny the CR group its First Amendment rights.
&#8220;White Supremacist, fascist sympathizing College Republicans are having a meeting at McHenry library, room 0332. Everybody be aware of this violent racist activity happening everyday on this campus!&#8221; he wrote, adding that &#8220;We need a movement of people on this campus that rejects the &#8216;right of assembly,&#8217; or &#8216;right of free speech&#8217; for white supremacists and fascists.&#8221;

We have to sit here and listen to how socialist and communist worlds and nations are much preferable to ours. What world do we lead? The United Nations exists to fleece the United States, to blame the United States. Barack Obama openly admitted that his purpose was to transform the United States, which means cut it down to size.
It was Barack Obama who started this process of taking America out of the leadership role, and you couldn&#8217;t say enough good things about him, Senator McCain. It was Barack Obama and his two terms &#8212; and everybody he hired to work with him &#8212; who set about to make Iran a nuclear power? How in the world would a United States-led world permit that to happen, for the good of humanity? Senator McCain, with all due respect, you&#8217;ve got this totally backwards.
Your club or members in your club were actively presiding over the decline of the United States as a leader in the world, as a beacon of freedom.
Your definition of open and leading the world is to open our borders and let the disadvantaged race in! Sorry. That&#8217;s not what leadership of the world means. But too many people think leadership of the world meant we need to act on our guilt. We have guilt that we are so wealthier, so richer, so more advanced than most nations on Earth, it isn&#8217;t fair, and so we must let the downtrodden in because we&#8217;ve made them downtrodden.
That&#8217;s what your club has started turning this country into, and that&#8217;s why people are standing up against it.

Whites should not wear hoop earrings, according to a <a href="https://www.vice.com/en_au/article/j5ga5x/hoop-earrings-are-my-culture-not-your-trend">Tuesday-published column</a> at VICE.
Ruby Pivet, the column&#8217;s author, describes whites wearing hoop earrings as engaging in &#8220;cultural appropriation,&#8221; framing the fashion accessories as somehow belonging to &#8220;minorities.&#8221;
&#8220;Hoops are worn by minorities as symbols of resistance, and strength,&#8221; writes Pivet, lamenting &#8220;white consumption&#8221; of &#8220;latinx&#8221; culture.
&#8220;I was young when I learned just how comfortable white people are taking from other cultures,&#8221; writes Pivet, sharing an anecdote she claims happened to her in childhood involving a little white girl; she further frames the anecdote as illustrative of a broader pathology among whites:

Back in primary school, my family went on holidays to the Grampians. An outgoing child, I made friends with another girl my age. like me, she was named after a gemstone. Unlike me, she was skinny with pale white skin. The day her family was set to leave, we played in the pool all afternoon. The earrings given to me by my grandmother were wrapped up securely in my towel. When I got out of the water my friend was gone, and so were the earrings. 
In my mind&#8217;s eye, I picture her clutching them with little care for the significance they held for me. Those earrings were a symbol of my place in the world as a Latinx-Australian, something I still struggle with understanding and navigating. She saw them as something shiny she liked and could simply take.
</blockquote>
Describing herself as a &#8220;person of color,&#8221; Pivet writes emotionally about hoop earrings:

Having lost my language, the way I dress and accessorize is a way for me to connect with that mixed heritage identity. As for many women of color before me, hoops play a large role in my self preservation and expression.
</blockquote>
Pivet casts non-whites as broadly disadvantaged by widespread racial prejudices directed toward them:

White girls did not start the &#8220;trend&#8221; of over-sized hoop earrings and yet they&#8217;re the ones being praised for donning the &#8220;edgy&#8221; style. Meanwhile, women of color who wear them face racial stereotypes or the assumption that they&#8217;re participating in a disposable trend.

Does the present status of immigration amplify undesirable social fragmentation while dissolving the cultural glue of America? Fox News Channel colleagues Tucker Carlson and Juan Williams discussed the question on Monday.
Immigration over recent decades has wrought unprecedented changes to America&#8217;s demographics, said Carlson, pointing to a <a href="https://cis.org/Report/US-Immigrant-Population-Hit-Record-437-Million-2016">Monday-published study</a> via the Center for Immigration Studies indicating that America is home to 43.7 million immigrants, amounting to 13.5% of the population:
<blockquote>
What&#8217;s the effect on the population [already in America]? You can&#8217;t switch out your population to this degree and not have some kind of social volatility. Why does the average person not get to weigh in on this very often?
</blockquote>
Williams described &#8220;populism&#8221; as &#8220;tribal&#8221; while pointing to exceptional immigrants such as Google co-founder Sergey Brin as evidence of aggregate national economic benefits from the present status of immigration.
Carlson cast contemporary immigration policies as fracturing America on &#8220;basic questions&#8221; regarding American identity:

We&#8217;re at a moment, and every survey shows it, of total division within our society. People have less in common with each other than they&#8217;ve ever had. We&#8217;re asking basic questions, like what ties us all together? Why are we all in this together? Do you not see any correlation between massive immigration since 1965 and where we are now? The country is much less united, much less willing to agree on basic questions like, is the Bill of Rights worth continuing? That&#8217;s not related to immigration? Of course it is.
</blockquote>

Political polarization between Republicans and Democrats on &#8220;fundamental political issues [such as] government, race, immigration, national security [and] environmental protection&#8221; have &#8220;reached record levels,&#8221; according to a <a href="http://www.people-press.org/2017/10/05/the-partisan-divide-on-political-values-grows-even-wider/">Pew Research Center (PRC) study</a> published on October 5.
<a href="http://www.people-press.org/2014/06/12/section-1-growing-ideological-consistency/">Record levels</a> of political divisions across partisan lines were recorded during Barack Obama&#8217;s presidency, expanding further during Donald Trump&#8217;s presidency.
Differences between political viewpoints across partisan lines are greater than they are across lines of &#8220;gender, race and ethnicity, religious observance or education,&#8221; concludes PRC.
PRC&#8217;s phrasing of its polling statements &#8212; to which poll respondents indicate their degree of agreement or disagreement &#8212; embedded left-wing axioms; &#8220;Government should do more to help the needy,&#8221; &#8220;Racial discrimination is the main reason why black people can&#8217;t get ahead these days,&#8221; and &#8220;immigrants strengthen the country with their hard work and talents.&#8221;

In 2011, about twice as many Democrats as Republicans said the government should do more for the needy (54% vs. 25%). Today, nearly three times as many Democrats as Republicans say this (71% vs. 24%).

PRC notes growing partisan division regarding alleged racial discrimination against blacks:

When the racial discrimination question was first asked in 1994, the partisan difference was 13 points. By 2009, it was only somewhat larger (19 points). But today, the gap in opinions between Republicans and Democrats about racial discrimination and black advancement has increased to 50 points.

PRC notes a growing partisan divide on views of immigrants:

There has been a major shift in Democrats&#8217; opinions about immigrants. The share of Democrats who say immigrants strengthen the country has increased from 32% in 1994 to 84% today. By contrast, Republicans are divided in attitudes about immigrants: 42% say they strengthen the country, while 44% view them as a burden. In 1994, 30% of Republicans said immigrants strengthened the country, while 64% said they were a burden.

Pew Research: Record-Level Partisan Gaps Over ‘Fundamental Political Issues’

NBC framed socialism as a tool toward achieving happiness in a Monday-aired segment during its morning show Today.
&#8220;Few have that extra happiness figured out like the Danes,&#8221; said NBC&#8217;s Cynthia McFadden during the segment&#8217;s introduction, proceeding to celebrate Copenhagen&#8217;s widespread use of bicycles.
&#8220;Here, no job is less than any other,&#8221; narrated McFadden prior to a profile of a waste collector. &#8220;Allen Christensen [the profiled waste collector] works just five hours a day, and earns the same as a school teacher.&#8221;
McFadden&#8217;s segment featured National Geographic&#8217;s Dan Buettner, who described Denmark as eschewing positive perceptions of ambition: &#8220;Ambition is not celebrated. No matter what you do, you&#8217;re not better than anybody else.&#8221;
Americans are framed as overworked, with a contrast between the claimed American worker&#8217;s average of 50 hours of weekly work and the claimed 37-hour average in Denmark.
Another profile included a Danish woman alleged to work once per month as a cook for large events.
Redistributive socialistic mandates for &#8220;paid&#8221; maternity leave and &#8220;free&#8221; services are described by Buettner as &#8220;rights&#8221;:
<blockquote>
Every Dane is born with the right to free health care, free education through college, comfortable retirement. They&#8217;re free to pursue a job that meets their passion and their interests.
</blockquote>
McFadden implictly contrasted broad American distrust of centralized power relative to their Danish counterparts: &#8220;The Danes trust their government. They pay enormously high taxes.&#8221;
