Lindsay Lohan Opens Up About Motherhood, Calls It ‘Greatest Joy In The World’
Lindsay Lohan opened up about motherhood for the first time since giving birth to her first child last month, a baby boy, calling it the “greatest joy in the world.”
The 37-year-old actress was grinning ear to ear in her first post on Instagram postpartum after she and her husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a son they named Luai.
“I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery,” Lohan captioned her selfie.

“Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!” she added, noting that she’s not just “a regular mom” but “a postpartum” one.
Details of her son’s birth are vague, but we do know he was born in Dubai.
Lohan’s dad recently spoke to People magazine about how the delivery went “really smooth.”
“All I can say is I’m so so happy for Lindsay and Bader!” Michael Lohan said. “They will be amazing parents. We are all truly blessed in so many ways!”

“Everything went great with Lindsay, absolutely amazing and the delivery went really smooth,” Michael continued.
The former Disney star made headlines in March when she announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child together.
“We are blessed and excited!” Lohan captioned her post. It included a praying hand emoji, a heart, a baby emoji, a baby bottle emoji, along with a photo of a white baby onesie with the message “coming soon.”
Last July, a representative for Lohan confirmed to People magazine that the actress had tied the knot with the financier. In November 2021, Lohan announced on Instagram that the couple was engaged.
She captioned her post, “My love. My life. My family. My future.”
