Former Disney star Lindsay Lohan definitely got everyone’s attention on Tuesday when she revealed on Instagram that she and her husband, Bader Shammas, were expecting their first child together.

The 36-year-old actress shared the news with her twelve million plus followers, captioning her post, “We are blessed and excited!” It included a praying hand emoji, a heart, a baby emoji, a baby bottle emoji, along with a photo of a white baby onesie with the message “coming soon.”

At the time of this publication, the “Parent Trap” star’s post had been liked more than 200,000 times in less than an hour.

In July, a representative for Lohan confirmed to People magazine that the actress had tied the knot with the financier. In November 2021, Lohan announced on Instagram that the couple was engaged.

She captioned her post, “My love. My life. My family. My future.”

Lohan’s post came about after she called Shammas her “husband” in another social media post.

“I am the luckiest woman in the world,” Lohan wrote in the post. “Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time.”

“I am stunned that this is my husband,” she added. “My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday [sic].”

Lohan recently returned to acting in the Netflix film, “Falling for Christmas,” which hit number one on the streaming site. The movie marked the star’s return to the romantic comedy genre after nearly a decade. She is probably best known for several of her memorable roles in such films as “Mean Girls” in 2004, “Freaky Friday” in 2003, and the remake of the Disney classic “The Parent Trap” in 1998.

Disclosure: The Daily Wire has announced plans for kids entertainment content.
