Celebrities continued sharing touching tributes to Elvis Presley’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, in the wake of her death after she went into cardiac arrest Thursday. She was 54.
Presley’s mother, Priscilla, shared the devastating news in a Thursday statement. “My beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment,” she said in a statement.
Presley’s ex-husband, actor Nicolas Cage, joined stars like Kid Rock, John Travolta, and many others to remember the musician after learning about the death of the star. Presley’s daughter will be buried next to her late son, Benjamin, at Graceland, a rep for the late star’s daughter, actor Riley Keough, shared with the Associated Press.
“Lisa [Marie Presley] had the greatest laugh of anyone I ever met,” Cage told The Hollywood Reporter. “She lit up every room.”
“I find some solace believing she is reunited with her son, Benjamin,” he added, referencing the late-singer’s son who died by suicide in 2020, Page Six noted.
Kid Rock shared a message on his social media that read, “There is not enough love to share for Lisa Marie. Please pray for her, her children, and family. Only god knows why. Bobby – Kid Rock.”
Travolta posted a throwback photo of her on his Instagram and wrote simply, “Lisa baby girl, I’m so sorry. I’ll miss you but I know I’ll see you again. My love and heart goes out to Riley, Priscilla, Harper and Finley.”
Tom Hanks and his wife actress Rita Wilson called the news of her passing heartbreaking.
“We are heartbroken over the loss of Lisa Marie Presley,” Hanks captioned his post on Instagram. “Absolutely broken … Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.”

“Our hearts are broken with the sudden and shocking passing of Lisa Marie Presley tonight,” Wilson captioned her post on Instagram. “Tom and I had spent some time with the family during the Elvis movie promotional tour. Lisa Marie was so honest and direct, vulnerable, in a state of anticipation about the movie.”
“She spoke so eloquently about her father, what the movie meant to her, that it was a celebration of her dad,” she added. “She had her gorgeous daughters Finley and Harper with her who made us all laugh. She privately showed us her home, Graceland, and she made it feel like home to us … A mother should never have to lose a child. Lisa Marie lost her precious son Benjamin, Priscilla loses her only daughter. It’s too much. Sending love to the family, prayers for peace and strength. Love, Rita and Tom.”
And they weren’t the only ones offering tributes, others included country singer LeAnn Rimes, pop singer Pink, and more.
“Lisa marie presley … how heartbreaking,” Rimes tweeted. “I hope she is at peace in her dad’s arms. My heart goes out to her family. Too much grief in just a couple of years. #riplisamarie #LisaMariePresley.”

“Oh, this one hurts my heart,” Pink captioned her post. “Lisa Marie, you were one of a kind. Funny as s***, smart as a whip, sensitive, talented, witty, mean, loving, generous, judgmental but always right, loyal, and you adored your children. My heart breaks for you and your beautiful family and your children. The world lost a rare gem today. May your soul rest in peace, friend.”
So sad that we’ve lost another bright star in Lisa Marie Presley. My condolences to her loved ones and multitude of fans.
