<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tom-hanks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tom Hanks</a> and wife actress Rita Wilson’s home in Los Angeles was reportedly burglarized, making the superstar couple the latest celebrities to have their home hit by burglars.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Law enforcement sources told </span><a href="https://www.tmz.com/2024/08/05/tom-hanks-rita-wilson-home-burglarized-los-angeles/?adid=social-tw"><span style="font-weight: 400;">TMZ</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> that a few weeks back, the guest home on the property of the 68-year-old actor was broken into in broad daylight by thieves who smashed the glass to get in.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sources said the break-in set off the alarm, but apparently didn’t deter the thieves. Luckily, both the “Forrest Gump” star and his wife were out of town and were not injured in the attack on their property, the outlet noted.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The main home was not breached and it is unclear what, if anything, was stolen. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In March, the LAPD said there had been over 900 residential burglaries across the city since January, some of which were committed by burglars who may be using new technology to circumvent home security systems.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On March 4, the Wilshire department of the LAPD acknowledged, “Wilshire area has been subjected to various residential burglaries, involving 3-4 suspects using Wi-Fi jammers as they enter victims’ residences. The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking your help to deter such burglaries.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No arrests have been announced in the reported burglary at the Hanks home as of the time of this publication.</span></p>

<p>Originally announced by HBO back in 2013, the show is set now to release on January 26, 2024, with a two-episode debut and will continue with one episode per week until March 15 on AppleTV+, the <a href="https://www.militarytimes.com/off-duty/military-culture/2023/10/05/spielberg-hanks-wwii-series-masters-of-the-air-gets-premiere-date/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MilitaryTimes</a> reported.</p>
<p>&#8220;Masters of the Air&#8221; is a nine-episode miniseries based on Donald L. Miller&#8217;s book by the same name, which follows American bomber pilots of the Eighth Air Force&#8217;s 100th Bomb Group, who repeatedly risked flying at 25,000 feet in daylight to conduct &#8220;perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany, dealing with frigid temperatures, lack of oxygen and sheer terror,&#8221; the official logline read, per <a href="https://deadline.com/2023/10/masters-of-the-air-premiere-date-world-war-ii-drama-austin-butler-photos-trailer-1235564915/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Deadline</a> magazine.</p>
<p>&#8220;It portrays the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler&#8217;s Third Reich,&#8221; it added. &#8220;Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all.&#8221;</p>

<p>Many celebrities have been expressing their thoughts on AI technology as it has become a hot topic of debate in several industries. I could be hit by a bus tomorrow and that’s it, but performances can go on and on and on and on,” Hanks said at the time. “Outside the understanding of AI and deepfake, there’ll be nothing to tell you that it’s not me and me alone. And it’s going to have some degree of lifelike quality. That’s certainly an artistic challenge but it’s also a legal one.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The actor went on to discuss how “all of the guilds, all of the agencies, and all of the legal firms” are currently examining “the legal ramifications of my face and my voice and everybody else’s being our intellectual property.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Without a doubt people will be able to tell [that it’s AI], but the question is will they care? There are some people that won’t care, that won’t make that delineation,” Hanks continued.</span></p>

<p>Reality TV star Chip Gaines- who gained fame with he and wife Joanna Gaines home design show &#8220;Fixer Upper&#8221; on HGTV-recently opened up about how the couple will soon celebrate their 20-year wedding anniversary and admitted it &#8220;hasn&#8217;t been the perfect story,&#8221; <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/chip-gaines-joanna-fought-like-hell-family-hasnt-been-perfect-story">Fox News</a> noted.</p>

<p>&#8220;Marriage is interesting that way,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Whatever I go through, Jo goes through. And whatever she goes through, I go through. Life has done us plenty of favors and showed us things we&#8217;ve been beyond blessed to see.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve also had some hard times—some the world knows about, and plenty it doesn&#8217;t,&#8221; Chip continued. &#8220;Like anyone else, we&#8217;ve been sick and sad and hurt and lost and flat out of ideas on how to turn things around.&#8221;</p>
<p>And now 20 years later with five kids, Gaines said it&#8217;s those hard times that bonded them. &#8220;We might&#8217;ve wished back then for calmer seas and slower days when we were in the thick of parenting small kids and growing a business alongside them, but now I wouldn&#8217;t wish any of it away,&#8221; he added.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m so thankful to God for giving us exactly what we&#8217;ve had, and for what I know we still have ahead: plenty to build—hand-in-hand,&#8221; Gaines continued.</p>

<p>Who is this Greek American? Well, according to a legend as told by President Joe Biden himself, the Greek community of Wilmington, Delaware, overwhelmingly supported his first bid to the Senate half a century ago and gave him the nickname as an honorary title.</p>
<p>&#8220;The nickname I got early on when I won by 3,200 votes in — for the Senate seat when I was 29 years old is because — started calling me &#8216;Joe Bidenopoulos,'&#8221; the president <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2023/03/29/remarks-by-president-biden-at-greek-independence-day-reception/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> on Wednesday during the White House&#8217;s Greek Independence Day celebration. &#8220;Oh, you think I’m kidding. I’m not — I’m not joking. Am I? I’m not joking. Because of the overwhelming support from the Greek American community.&#8221;</p>

<p>Now, a couple of things here that stick out with Biden&#8217;s latest remarks.</p>
<p>First, readers of The Daily Wire know that anytime Biden says, &#8220;You think I&#8217;m kidding?&#8221; or &#8220;Not a joke,&#8221; then the president is usually not being square with his audience.</p>
<p>The second thing is that one might be tempted to chalk this anecdote up to Biden&#8217;s old age, yet history tells a different story.</p>
<p>Way back in 2012, several facelifts and a few brain cells ago, Biden made the exact same joke to a group of <a href="https://www.politico.com/blogs/politico44/2012/08/vp-im-joe-bidenopoulos-133993" target="_blank" rel="noopener">patrons</a> at a Greek diner in Ohio while on the campaign trail.</p>
<p>&#8220;Hi, I&#8217;m Joe Bidenopoulos,&#8221; he said to laughs while encouraging his audience to, &#8220;Ask George,&#8221; who would tell them that Biden is &#8220;the most Greek Irishman he’s ever known.&#8221;</p>

<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tim-allen-finally-weighs-in-on-lightyear-says-theres-no-relationship-to-buzz-and-famed-character">Allen</a> previously broke his silence on Evans voicing the iconic spaceman in the origin-based film. He said there&#8217;s &#8220;no connection&#8221; to his famed character in the animated franchise, though he wished there was.</p>
<p>&#8220;The short answer is I&#8217;ve stayed out of this because it has nothing to do [with my character],&#8221; he said. &#8220;This is a whole new team that really had nothing to do with the first movies.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a wonderful story,&#8221; he added. &#8220;It just doesn&#8217;t seem to have any connection to the toy, and it&#8217;s a little … I don&#8217;t know. It just has no relationship to Buzz. It&#8217;s just no connection. I wish there was a better connection to this.&#8221;</p>
<p>Allen said that any &#8220;Toy Story&#8221; movie about Buzz must include Tom Hanks&#8217; character, Woody. &#8220;There&#8217;s really no &#8216;Toy Story&#8217; Buzz without Woody.&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/beyond-that-now-tom-hanks-says-fans-wouldnt-accept-him-playing-gay-man-in-philadelphia-now">Hanks</a> later admitted he didn&#8217;t &#8220;understand&#8221; why Disney replaced Allen with the &#8220;Avengers&#8221; star as the voice of Buzz for the &#8220;Lightyear&#8221; film, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CfPPwz9Jj7n/">CinemaBlend</a> reported.</p>
<p>In June, Disney/Pixar faced a backlash over its decision to have Evans voice Buzz in the new movie, which featured LGBTQ scenes, which some speculated was the reason for the switch.</p>
