<p>Buckingham Palace confirmed on Wednesday that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/prince-harry">Prince Harry</a> will travel to the United Kingdom in May without his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids for the coronation of his father King Charles III.</p>
<p>The royal household told <a href="https://people.com/royals/prince-harry-will-attend-king-charles-coronation-without-meghan-markle/?hid=4f90b78dc31e627328d98338e1fa49d03b364abc&amp;did=8838125-20230412&amp;utm_campaign=ppl-breakingnews_relationship-builder&amp;utm_source=ppl&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_content=041223&amp;lctg=4f90b78dc31e627328d98338e1fa49d03b364abc">People magazine</a> in a statement that the Duke of Sussex would attend the crowning of the King and Queen Camilla in London.</p>
<p>&#8220;Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May,&#8221; the statement read.</p>
<p>&#8220;The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet,&#8221; it added.</p>

<p>The date of the coronation falls on the same day as Prince Archie&#8217;s birthday. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/meghan-markle">Markle</a> will stay in CA to celebrate their oldest turning four that weekend.</p>
<p>In March, <a href="https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/prince-harry-urged-everyone-in-royal-family-to-have-therapy-r37fxzwmg">The Sunday Times</a> U.K. reported that the royal couple had been invited to the ceremony.</p>
<p>A spokesperson for the Sussex&#8217;s told the outlet, &#8220;I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty&#8217;s office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.&#8221;</p>
<p>The King ascended the throne in September 2022 following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, at 96.
