President Joe Biden one time single-handedly helped an elderly lady take down a Wilmington gang and lower the crime rate: For real. Not a joke.

On Tuesday, Biden traveled to Wilkes-Barres, Pennsylvania, to deliver a speech about keeping communities safer.

In between practically threatening half the country with fighter jets and rambling about inner-city basketball, the commander-in-chief relayed a story about a now-deceased woman who had feared for her life due to illegal activity occurring in the apartment below hers.

Fear not, Biden visited her one night and sorted everything out.

While discussing the need for police officers to be known within their community, the president said he remembered going into the East Side of Wilmington, “in one of those old Victorian two, three-story apartment buildings and going up to see a woman, whose name — she’s passed away but won’t mention her name now — and stand in that rotunda, that part that stuck out around the building. And she said, ‘Joey, I know. I know what’s going on. They all plan it downstairs. I can hear them, but I’m afraid to tell anybody. I’m afraid to tell anybody. The gangs.”

“And so I got a phone number, I got a phone number for the local cops. She called they promised not to identify her because I knew there’d be retribution, and the crime rate began to drop for real, not a joke,” he added.

The president’s remarks can be seen here:

It is entirely unclear what time period he is talking about. A preliminary search doesn’t bring up any record of Biden telling this story ever before. And yet, there are a couple verbal cues that indicate the president could be lying.

First, anytime Biden claims that somebody called him “Joey,” it suggest that he is telling an exaggerated story at best and an outright lie at worst.

For example, the president also claimed that he and his dad saw two adult men making out in the streets of Wilmington when he was a little boy. Biden had never seen two men locking lips, so he looked at his dad and his father reportedly said, “Joey, it’s simple. They love each other.”

Really? Two men in the 50s kissed each other in broad daylight? That doesn’t quite pass the smell test.

He has also repeatedly told the story of an Amtrak conductor who allegedly walked up to him as vice president, grabbed his cheek and said, “Joey, baby!” and excitedly told Biden that he had calculated that the politician logged more than two million miles on Amtrak throughout his career.

Even the Associated Press called baloney on that tale for a number of reasons, chief among them being basic arithmetic.

On Tuesday, Biden also used the phrase “not a joke” — which is another tell that something is amiss when Biden starts bumbling.

During the 2020 campaign, Biden told a “moving but false war story” as The Washington Post put it.

At a campaign stop, Biden claimed while he was vice president, he had traveled into a dangerous part of Afghanistan to pin a Silver Star on an American hero.

“We can lose a vice president,” he recounted saying when his advisers supposedly told him it was too risky of a trip. “We can’t lose many more of these kids. Not a joke.”

The president said that the soldier pushed back when he met him in Afghanistan. “He said, ‘Sir, I don’t want the damn thing!’ … ‘Do not pin it on me, Sir! Please, Sir. Do not do that! He died. He died!’” Biden told the New Hampshire crowd.

“This is the God’s truth,” Biden remarked. “My word as a Biden.”

And yet, nearly “every detail in the story appears to be incorrect” The Post noted.

Thus, Biden’s “word as a Biden” is a load of garbage. It is worthless.

Nonetheless, the president wants you to believe that he took down Corn Pop, drove a truck, got a talking to from Big Mama, met with American military heroes deep in enemy territory, and even helped little old ladies facedown their hoodlum neighbors in Wilmington duplexes.
