<p>President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris faced backlash Thursday afternoon over what they told Israeli Prime Minister <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/benjamin-netanyahu" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Benjamin Netanyahu</a> during a call.</p>
<p>The meeting came after Israel <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israel-kills-hezbollahs-most-senior-military-commander-after-terror-group-killed-12-children" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed</a> Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s top military commander, on Tuesday and is believed to be behind the Wednesday killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the top leader of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hamas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hamas</a>. Shukr was targeted after Hezbollah murdered 12 children inside Israel over the weekend and Haniyeh was targeted in response to the October 7 attacks.</p>
<p>&#8220;The President reaffirmed his commitment to Israel’s security against all threats from Iran, including its proxy terrorist groups Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis,&#8221; the White House said in a statement. &#8220;The President discussed efforts to support Israel’s defense against threats, including against ballistic missiles and drones, to include new defensive U.S. military deployments.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Together with this commitment to Israel’s defense, the President stressed the importance of ongoing efforts to de-escalate broader tensions in the region,&#8221; the statement continued. &#8220;Vice President Harris also joined the call.&#8221;</p>
<p>David Milstein, who worked in the Trump Administration for U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, said that the statement from the administration was a &#8220;disgrace.&#8221;</p>

<p>Milstein said, &#8220;It seems the Biden-Harris Admin has a deliberate policy for Israel to be a punching bag for Iran and its terror proxies where Israel is solely on the defensive + the Biden-Harris Admin illegitimately pressures Israel to stand down from pro-actively acting militarily to counter the security threats + the Biden-Harris Admin imposes a partial arms embargo on Israel denying the military assistance needed to fully protect Israel + the Biden-Harris Admin gifts Israel&#8217;s enemies over $100 billion in sanctions relief that rewards them / finances their escalating aggression against Israel.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;It is an unconscionable betrayal of our close ally,&#8221; he added. &#8220;The Biden-Harris Admin disastrous policies endanger Israel &#8211; which is why Israel should do whatever is necessary militarily to protect Israelis even if the Biden-Harris Admin shamefully refuses to provide support.&#8221;</p>
