The Daily Wire has obtained charging documents accusing 20-year-old internet personality Braden Peters, known to millions of online followers as “Clavicular,” of drugging and raping a minor inside his family’s Massachusetts home.
The charges, filed in a Cape Cod courthouse on September 8, stem from an alleged incident last year that could land the provocative streamer who popularized the viral phrase “looksmaxxing” behind bars for years to come.
On June 4, 2026, Chatham Police Department Officer Jordyn Gagliardi documented a rape allegation involving an unnamed 17-year-old girl represented by attorney Jonathan Schwartz. In her interview with law enforcement, she said she had exchanged messages with Peters on Instagram before he offered to pay her to appear on one of his streams, which critics say have tapped into the insecurities of young men and teenage boys to build a larger-than-life digital audience.
Peters allegedly framed her appearance on his streams as an opportunity to boost her social media presence and arranged an Uber for the minor to his family’s home in Chatham, a scenic seaside resort town at the southeastern tip of Cape Cod.
She arrived at the residence around 5 p.m. on May 23, 2025, and greeted Peters’ mother and grandmother. The then 19-year-old then allegedly led the girl upstairs to his bedroom, where he was livestreaming on Twitch. According to her account, Peters was aware of her age but instructed her to lie about it on camera. Shortly afterward, the two began drinking alcohol, which she identified as vodka.
“She stated that she no longer felt the awkward feelings when alcohol was ‘invited’ because she calmed down and was relaxed,” the police report reads. “She stated that although they began consuming the alcohol, she felt that she was peer-pressured to consume it.”
During the stream, the two began kissing. When asked how much she drank, the girl responded, “two, three shots, but it was like not really shots, it was more so like cups.” She described herself as a “lightweight” who quickly felt intoxicated. Eventually, the stream ended, and according to her testimony, the encounter quickly turned physical.
The two continued kissing on the couch before moving to Peters’ bed, where she said the streamer was “throwing me in different positions.” She said she eventually fell asleep and awoke the next morning to Peters “having sex with me.” She told police she did not tell him to stop because by the time she became aware of what was happening, the alleged assault was already underway. She maintained that she never consented to sex.
“I was just like was getting f*cked when I woke up,” the minor told law enforcement, describing the ordeal as “so uncomfortable.” Afterward, she said Peters ordered her an Uber home. The two did not see each other for another six months, and she never told anyone “the full extent of what occurred,” according to police records.
Law enforcement reviewed clips from Peters’ streams that night and saw the 20-year-old looksmaxxer shirtless at times and expressing how intoxicated he was. The influencer has not been arrested but was ordered to attend an October 14 arraignment. If convicted of rape, Peters faces up to 20 years in state prison and a mandatory spot on the sex offender registry.
A representative for Peters <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/clavicular-looksmaxxing-charged-rape-massachusetts-rcna599130">told</a> NBC News that he &#8220;has not been physically served&#8221; and that The Bulwark was &#8220;exaggerating.&#8221; Peters &#8220;denies the claims and disputes the characterization of events,&#8221; <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2026/09/21/clavicular-faces-rape-charge-in-massachusetts/">according</a> to a statement from his attorney.
Peters commented on a post on X about the charges, writing, “What is this sh*t? Former Fox News producer Jennifer Eckhart has been discovered dead in what’s being ruled a suicide.
Eckhart, 36, was discovered deceased inside her Florida home on Saturday morning, according to a Martin County Sheriff’s Office incident report, as TMZ first <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2026/09/21/jennifer-eckhart-dead/">reported</a>. A spokesperson for the office confirmed that Eckhart died by suicide. 
Investigators said her family and friends were trying to help her, but she had been in and out of mental health facilities. She had reportedly stopped taking her medications, as a local Florida ABC affiliate <a href="https://www.wpbf.com/article/jennifer-eckhart-former-fox-news-producer-dies-suicide-florida/73827017">reported</a>.
The former Fox Business employee worked at the network for seven years, rising to associate producer. She accused Ed Henry, then an anchor at sister network Fox News, of rape in 2020, but Henry denied the allegations, saying their sexual relationship was consensual.
Fox News fired Henry on July 1, 2020, following an outside investigation into Eckhart&#8217;s allegations. She was publicly identified as his accuser when she filed suit about three weeks later, claiming she had been “violently raped” and left “injured, bruised and battered with bloody wrists,” per People.
She made claims that Henry asked her to be his “sex slave” and then “threatened punishment and retaliation if [Eckhart] didn’t comply with his sexual demands,” and took photos of her as a form of “blackmail that could destroy her career.”
Eckhart filed a lawsuit against Henry and Fox News, though the network was dismissed as a defendant. The case was settled in 2025 shortly before it was scheduled to go to trial.

The Greenville County, South Carolina, Coroner’s office ruled her death as toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, Alprazolam, Methocarbamol and Quetiapine, per <a href="https://people.com/hayden-panettieres-cause-of-death-revealed-12061080">People</a>. The actress’s death was ruled to be an accident.
Panettiere, best known for starring roles in “Nashville” and “Heroes,” was discovered dead in her apartment on August 16 at the age of 36.
“On August 16, 2026, at approximately 1:51 PM, a 911 call was received regarding a reported cardiac arrest at 701 Easley Bridge Road in Greenville. First responders and Emergency Medical Services arrived on scene and located a female in cardiac arrest. EMS personnel initiated advanced cardiac life support measures; however, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and the individual was pronounced deceased at 2:32 PM,” the coroner’s office statement said.
“The Greenville County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene and initiated a parallel investigation with the Greenville City Police Department. The decedent has been identified as Hayden Leslie Panettiere, 36, of California. Panettiere was found unresponsive inside the residence, where she had been temporarily staying. An autopsy was completed by a board-certified forensic pathologist. At autopsy, no signs of trauma were discovered that would have contributed to the death.”
The publicist for Panettiere&#8217;s family responded to the coroner&#8217;s report, telling the <a href="https://apnews.com/article/hayden-panettiere-cause-of-death-drugs-fentanyl-229349e2bb6e19d985372d8524b09fc8?taid=6ab291874ff7f5000152195a&amp;utm_campaign=TrueAnthem&amp;utm_medium=AP&amp;utm_source=Twitter">Associated Press</a> that “the investigation is still ongoing and the case is complex.”
The coroner&#8217;s report comes after multiple law enforcement sources told TMZ that Panettiere had a longtime drug dealer in Los Angeles who allegedly supplied her with black-market prescription drugs, including oxycodone. Investigators believe Panettiere took several drugs obtained from the dealer during her flight from Los Angeles to South Carolina the day before her death. They suggested at the time that one pill she took the following morning was an oxycodone pill laced with fentanyl, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-pill-investigators-believe-may-have-killed-hayden-panettiere">reported</a>.
Panettiere was discovered unconscious by her boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach Hickerson. Zach said he was returning from a church service to meet up with Panettiere and Brian for lunch. When he knocked on the door, his brother woke up, and they found Panettiere unconscious. Brian immediately administered Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, while Zach called 911, he said. The brothers then performed CPR together while remaining on the phone with 911 dispatchers, but Panettiere could not be revived.
Brian, the actress’ on-again-off-again boyfriend, reportedly met with DEA investigators as part of the ongoing probe. Police documents previously indicated that Panettiere had a “bag of medication” containing nine different substances, though the specific medications were redacted.

A Mississippi grand jury declined to bring charges in the death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells, whose body was found after a July 4 boating trip off the Mississippi Coast. The panel said speculation that Wells’ white friends played a role in his death was fueled by “public clamor and private malice.”
Jackson County District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath announced the grand jury’s findings following a “thorough and exhaustive investigation.” The grand jury unanimously returned what’s known as a “no true bill,” meaning prosecutors did not present enough evidence to charge anyone with a crime.
“In addition to bringing prosecutions against the guilty, the grand jury must also exonerate those who have been falsely accused,” McIlrath said in a <a href="https://x.com/wakandagodd/status/2102216370859426180?s=20">15-minute video statement</a>. “The death of Nolan Wells has devastated our community. Outsiders and influencers have attempted to exploit Nolan&#8217;s death to divide and create chaos here.”
The 18-year-old’s mysterious death ignited an online and cultural firestorm, with internet sleuths, Democratic politicians, and lawyers fueling racial tensions through baseless speculation about whether Wells’ close group of friends played a role in his death on Horn Island, off the Mississippi coast. Wells, who was black, went to the party with a group of longtime white friends. Accusations intensified after his friends returned to the mainland without him.
“The narrative that three white boys and a black boy went to an island and only three white friends returned spread like wildfire. This was false,” McIlrath said. “There is absolutely no evidence to support the allegations that Nolan&#8217;s disappearance and death were racially motivated.”
Wells, a popular, outgoing football player at his community college, vanished on July 4 after separating from friends. His body was found in the water near the island two days later following an extensive search. Local authorities initially said there were no obvious signs of foul play and believed Wells likely drowned, while emphasizing that the investigation remained active pending autopsy and toxicology results, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/autopsy-results-revealed-in-death-of-teen-repped-by-racial-activist-ben-crump">The Daily Wire reported</a>.

The report found no conclusive evidence that Wells sustained any fatal injuries and said the cause of the injury to the back of his head remains “uncertain.” The panel, which heard from dozens of witnesses and reviewed troves of cellphone data, cited one witness account saying Wells slipped “awkwardly” off a boat that afternoon.
“If credible evidence comes to light in the future that suggests Mr. Wells’ death was non-accidental, this matter should be represented to the Jackson County Grand Jury for further consideration,” the panel’s report said.
The teen’s family is represented by attorney Ben Crump, who has previously advanced politically charged racial narratives in high-profile cases — including those of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota — before investigations were completed.
In response to the grand jury report, Crump doubled down, calling on the Department of Justice to launch an independent investigation.

Hudson also said the group mingled with hundreds of people on Horn Island, that he witnessed no altercations involving Wells, and that everyone began searching for him after realizing he had gone missing.
The grand jury panel found zero evidence to suggest any of Nolan’s friends engaged in criminal conduct, calling speculation otherwise “the result of public clamor and private malice.”
“What we have seen happen in Nolan&#8217;s case, where lives and reputations have been damaged, is reprehensible. People have suffered,” McIlrath said. “Public officials have been harassed. Witnesses, public officials, and others who are completely unrelated to this case have been subjected to threats of harm and intimidation by an angry mob.”

Lindsay Clancy’s defense attorney is calling for an intrusive investigation into the holdout juror who refused to find the Massachusetts mother not guilty in the deaths of her three children: 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan.
In a new motion <a href="https://www.boston.com/news/crime/2026/09/21/lindsay-clancy-lawyer-juror-doe-domestic-violence-cellphone/">filed</a> Friday, attorney Kevin Reddington urged a judge to preserve records from all 12 jurors, including juror questionnaires, surveillance video recorded outside the deliberation room, and sign-in sheets for the jurors’ electronic devices, <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/lindsay-clancy-defense-demands-investigation-holdout-juror-blocked-not-guilty-verdict">according to Fox News.</a>
Reddington is also honing in on 48-year-old Michael P. Desronvil — the Haitian man who refused to go along with nine women and two other men to find Clancy not criminally responsible for killing her children. 
One vote away from victory, Reddington is now seeking personal information about Desronvil, including his juror questionnaire, probation records, and any record from the statewide domestic violence registry. Reddington’s unusual request also asked the judge to probe whether prosecutors had any contact with the juror and to order an &#8220;independent examination” into his phone records from each day of deliberations, Fox News reported.

He added Desronvil is “safe and sound” at an undisclosed secure location in rural Northern New England, vowing legal retaliation for what he called the “evil people” who have attacked this “American hero.” 
“In the meantime, though, he has persevered and remains utterly unbroken thanks to his devout Catholic Faith. As a devoted father and man of God, he will not be defeated or shattered by the wicked who wish harm upon him,” Paltzik said of the holdout juror.
The deadlocked 11-1 jury was dismissed after 39 hours of deliberations. Since the mistrial, other jurors have publicly criticized Desronvil for being “arrogant” and disengaged. Desronvil disputed those accounts in a statement to the media, insisting he repeatedly tried to explain alternative theories but was “cut off” by other jurors.
“I didn’t have any doubts,” Desronvil <a href="https://x.com/BrianEntin/status/2100734698850849003?s=20">said</a>. “Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presents, I thought it was enough proof that she knew exactly what she was doing and planned.”

An Amtrak construction crew cut a fiber line in New Jersey on Monday, causing a telecom outage that forced the FAA to pause flights across the Northeast. 
More than 1,000 flights were delayed or canceled across the affected airports Monday, according to FlightAware. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said flights are resuming at New York&#8217;s LaGuardia Airport and Philadelphia International Airport but remain paused at Newark Airport, New York&#8217;s John F. Kennedy International Airport, and Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. 
Duffy said aging infrastructure was to blame. 
“The incident underscores the need for additional funding to modernize aging infrastructure to prevent disruptions like this in the future,” he said. In 2025, Congress directed $12.5 billion to address air traffic control systems and boost air traffic controller hiring. 
The FAA’s replacement circuit also failed. “When it went to flip into the backup, we discovered that the backup fiber had a break, and that fiber break is probably 13 hours to repair. It’s massive, I’m told. Meanwhile, we’ve got the new circuit ready to install now,” said FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford.

The FAA did not restart its systems for incoming flights at affected airports. Bedford explained it was to “make sure the airspace is safe.”

The illegal immigrant convicted of defrauding Taylor Swift&#8217;s husband, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in a $35 million Ponzi scheme overstayed his visa and had a conviction for another crime, The Daily Wire has learned.
Indian national Siddharth Jawahar, 38, was sentenced last week to 11 years in prison and ordered to pay $31.35 million in restitution to the victims, including Kelce and others. During a recent court hearing, Kelce was named as a victim in the case, <a href="https://www.firstalert4.com/2026/09/15/chiefs-tight-end-travis-kelce-named-victim-multi-million-dollar-fraud-case/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to KMOV.
Before his conviction, Jawahar entered the United States on multiple occasions between August 2005 and January 2010, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told The Daily Wire. He became an illegal immigrant after overstaying a visa.
At one point, Jawahar also had a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated in Texas, DHS said.
Jawahar ran the Texas-based investment firm Swiftarc Capital LLC, which he used to funnel his clients’ money into a single investment, Philip Morris Pakistan (PMP), in 2015, according to the Justice Department. Eventually, PMP held 99% of Jawahar&#8217;s clients’ funds.
When PMP&#8217;s value plunged, Jawahar failed to notify investors and falsely claimed they were making a profit, per the Justice Department. He also led his clients to believe he would invest their money in specific companies, but never actually did.
Jawahar received more than $35 million from Swiftarc investors between July 2016 and December 2023, according to the Justice Department. Only roughly $10 million of those funds were invested.
The Indian national used new investors’ money to repay the older investors. He also used the funds to pay for his personal travel on private jets, luxury hotel stays, a luxury apartment in Austin and New York City, memberships at multiple private clubs across the country, shopping sprees, and expensive meals at fancy restaurants.
After being indicted, Jawahar tried to &#8220;coach&#8221; one of his victims into providing a “favorable” statement to the FBI, the Justice Department said. He also lied about his status as an illegal immigrant and his finances, and tried to have his sister scrub evidence from his phone.
Jawahar pleaded guilty to three counts of wire fraud in January.
He managed more than a dozen other investment firms, according to the Justice Department.
A DHS spokesperson condemned Jawahar&#8217;s actions in a statement that appeared to reference Swift&#8217;s popular music lyrics.
&#8220;This criminal mastermind’s endgame was to steal their money so he could be popping champagne in the lap of luxury, but karma has finally tackled him. Once he completes his sentence, he will be swiftly deported from the United States and live the rest of his life in exile,&#8221; the spokesperson said.
&#8220;Illegal aliens exploiting Americans is nothing new after many years of open borders and sanctuary policies, but the men and women of DHS know all too well how to handle such cases,&#8221; the spokesperson said. &#8220;DHS remains chiefly committed to deporting illegal aliens so that we can prevent such injustices from ever happening again.&#8221;

Patrick Clancy revealed in an interview that aired Sunday night that his 8-month-old son Callan died in his arms at Boston Children&#8217;s Hospital, four days after Patrick&#8217;s then-wife Lindsay Clancy strangled Callan and his two siblings.
&#8220;I really thought there was a chance that Callan would live,” Patrick told &#8220;60 Minutes.&#8221; “And I remember just thinking, ‘Just gimme one. Just gimme one kid,’ and I would raise him as best I could, and I would give him the best life I possibly could. I&#8217;d tell him about his brother and sister.&#8221;
&#8220;I was holdin&#8217; out hope for that,&#8221; the grieving father continued. &#8220;And then when I got to the hospital, I saw the doctor, I saw the look on her face, and I knew that it wasn&#8217;t going to be a good prognosis.”
Patrick discovered his three children in the basement of his family home on January 24, 2023, after Lindsay strangled them with exercise bands. Cora, 5, and Dawson, 3, were rushed to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Doctors were able to restart Callan’s heart after about 10 minutes at the hospital, but he never regained brain function. The 8-month-old was then airlifted to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he remained on life support for several days. Callan died on January 27, 2023, in Patrick’s arms.
&#8220;I&#8217;m so grateful for those four days that I had with him, and I&#8217;m so grateful that he hung on,&#8221; Patrick said.
The father said he spoke to Callan at the hospital, and with tears in his eyes, he revealed that he told Callan he was &#8220;so sorry.&#8221;
&#8220;I told him, &#8216;I&#8217;m so sorry,'&#8221; an emotional Patrick said. &#8220;I got to hold him, I got to lay down next to him, and he died in my arms.&#8221;
Lindsay has admitted to killing her three children, but has leaned on an insanity defense to try to avoid criminal responsibility for the crimes. On September 4, the triple-murder trial ended in a mistrial, and it remains unclear if prosecutors will retry Lindsay, who is currently staying at a psychiatric hospital.

Lindsay has admitted to killing her three children — 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan — but sought to avoid criminal responsibility for the killings at trial by relying on what’s commonly referred to as the insanity defense.
Lindsay is currently being held at Tewksbury Hospital, a state-run psychiatric facility in Massachusetts, where she’s been in custody since 2023. Following the mistrial outcome on September 4, it remains unclear whether the state will decide to retry Lindsay for the killings.
Patrick has sought to honor his children’s memory in several ways since their deaths. For example, he ran the Boston Marathon in their memory in 2024, and he has also helped create the Clancy Family Playground in Duxbury. Patrick and his sisters also founded the Heard Foundation, which focuses on improving perinatal mental-health care. An ICE agent shot a man in North Austin on Sunday and sent him to a local hospital, a city official confirmed to the Daily Wire.
The shooting reportedly occurred near the intersection of Research Boulevard and Anderson Square, where a blue Toyota Corolla sat with damage to its passenger-side door. The man has been <a href="https://www.npr.org/2026/09/20/nx-s1-5975517/ice-shooting-austin-texas">identified</a> as Rafael Garces Perez, 29, from Venezuela. Perez&#8217;s attorney, Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch, claims Perez has legal status through his wife.
At a press conference, Austin Mayor Kirk Watson said that Perez was in serious but stable condition. Austin Councilmember Mike Siegal said, &#8220;This is a terrible incident that we were hoping to avoid in our community.&#8221; He added, &#8220;My hope today is that we can investigate what happened, and if an (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) officer committed a crime that they will be fully prosecuted, and then we can hope to restore some semblance of law and order in this country.&#8221;
Details on how the shooting occurred were not shared and the Department of Homeland Security did not immediately respond to the Daily Wire&#8217;s request for comment. It is unclear what circumstances led to the shooting.

The lone holdout juror who forced a mistrial in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder case has lawyered up with an attorney who has represented President Donald Trump as the holdout responds to scorching attacks from the media and his fellow jurors.
Michael P. Desronvil, 48, retained attorney Edward Paltzik, who has represented Trump in several high-profile lawsuits involving major mainstream media companies. Now, Paltzik is representing Desronvil, who has remained mostly silent since the mistrial that ended the trial that divided America.
“I can now confirm that I am representing the courageous and heroic lone holdout juror from the Lindsay Clancy Trial. He is an American Hero and Champion of Justice,” Paltzik <a href="https://x.com/EdPaltzik/status/2100711456287174755?s=20">said</a>. “Please pray for him and help us protect him.”
“This American Hero and Champion of Justice loves the United States of America as the greatest country in the world; cherishes our sacred Constitution as the pinnacle of human liberty; and supports our amazing leader, President Donald J. Trump, as a fellow defender of common-sense, liberty, and sanity,” Paltzik said. 
He added Desronvil is “safe and sound” at an undisclosed secure location in rural Northern New England, vowing legal retaliation for what he called the “evil people” who have attacked this “American hero.” 
“In the meantime, though, he has persevered and remains utterly unbroken thanks to his devout Catholic Faith. As a devoted father and man of God, he will not be defeated or shattered by the wicked who wish harm upon him,” Paltzik said of the holdout juror.

Paltzik also represented Trump in his lawsuit against ABC News, which settled for $15 million. His involvement in the Clancy case comes days after Desronvil <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/lone-lindsay-clancy-holdout-juror-breaks-his-silence?author=Jacob+Wheeler&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=6&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Lone+Lindsay+Clancy+Holdout+Juror+Breaks+His+Silence">issued his first formal statement</a> since the mistrial. In that statement, released to media, the Massachusetts man from a Haitian immigrant family rejected claims that he ignored the law.
“I didn’t have any doubts,” Desronvil <a href="https://x.com/BrianEntin/status/2100734698850849003?s=20">said</a>. “Based on all the physical evidence, key witnesses, and what the prosecution presents, I thought it was enough proof that she knew exactly what she was doing and planned.”
Desronvil was the lone holdout among the panel of nine women and three men who deliberated for more than 38 hours over whether Clancy was criminally responsible for killing her three children: 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan.
The jury ultimately deadlocked 11-1, prompting Judge William Sullivan to declare a mistrial on September 4. Clancy’s defense argued that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible for the killings. 
Since the mistrial, other jurors have publicly criticized Desronvil for being &#8220;arrogant&#8221; and disengaged. Desronvil disputed those accounts in his statement, saying he repeatedly tried to explain alternative theories but was “cut off” by other jurors.
Desronvil has also faced scrutiny over allegations involving his personal life, including a previously dismissed domestic violence charge and a restraining order. His brother has said the overwhelming media attention led to his family being doxxed and harassed.
Clancy admitted to killing her children in January 2023 by strangling them with exercise bands before attempting suicide. She remains at Tewksbury Hospital, a state-run facility, while prosecutors determine how to proceed following the mistrial. A hearing is scheduled for September 29.
