Daily Wire podcast host Michael Knowles slammed former MSNBC host Joy Reid in a surprise appearance on &#8220;Piers Morgan Uncensored.&#8221;
Morgan was interviewing Reid when he asked her to respond to a clip from &#8220;The Michael Knowles Show&#8221; that aired shortly after &#8220;The ReidOut&#8221; was canceled.
Knowles said at the time:
<blockquote>Joy Reid — probably the nastiest figure on MSNBC, the most Left, the most vicious against conservatives and white people and men and all the rest — she has just been canned, fired, kicked to the side of the road, her show is over. This saddens me a little bit, because I did not yet have the opportunity to go on it.
I am celebrating that there is no longer a market for her disgusting product. That’s what I’m genuinely happy about. There has been a major shift. Her show, and shows like her show, no longer have value. And that’s not just because of Joy Reid’s favorite villains: the evil white man or the Christians or the conservatives. It’s because no one watches her show.</blockquote>
&#8220;So, Joy, I’ve actually got Michael Knowles waiting in the wings,&#8221; Morgan said after the clip aired. &#8220;What did you make of his critique of your show?&#8221;
&#8220;Well, I mean, the reality is that obviously people watched the show,&#8221; Reid said. &#8220;That’s the reason that the show was on for four and a half, nearly five years. So if he didn’t like the show, I guess, sorry you didn’t enjoy it, but I really am not that interested in his views on it.&#8221;
Knowles fired right back.
&#8220;I guess I would agree with Joy’s take. People watched the show, in the past tense,&#8221; Knowles said. &#8220;And now there’s no longer a market for that absolutely vile content, and I think that’s good for the culture broadly.&#8221;

Reid accused Knowles and Morgan of &#8220;[trading] in grievance.&#8221;
&#8220;White grievance is very good for your bottom lines,&#8221; Reid said. &#8220;So having me here to be able to continue to traffic in that, that is your shtick.&#8221;
Knowles said Reid&#8217;s accusation was pure projection.
&#8220;When she&#8217;s talking about this anger, this grievance — I think, frankly, Piers, you and I are two of the least aggrieved people in the entire media,&#8221; Knowles said. &#8220;Generally pretty chipper, cheery people.&#8221;
Knowles added that while the Left pushed grievance politics, President Donald Trump decided success would be the best form of revenge.
&#8220;He did bring on a lot of people, many more than just white people, to his coalition: 46% of Hispanics, one in five Black men, 40% of women under 30,&#8221; Knowles said. &#8220;So, he built a very large coalition here.&#8221;
That coalition, Knowles said, is concerning liberals such as former President Barack Obama, who pushed grievance politics.
&#8220;Obama was one of the big promoters of proto-wokeness,&#8221; Knowles said. &#8220;It spun out of control, so now you&#8217;re seeing this run away with them.&#8221;
Knowles said the Left is now trying to backtrack on grievance politics.
&#8220;The Democrats got creamed in the 2024 elections. And [Obama&#8217;s] saying, &#8216;Whoa, whoa, guys, bring it back. Don’t seem so aggrieved,'&#8221; Knowles said. &#8220;I just think it’s a little bit too late. He’s being hoisted with his own petard.&#8221;

“The devastation families are facing is unimaginable — yet in the midst of such tremendous loss, we’ve witnessed something remarkable: an overwhelming outpouring of generosity and prayers,&#8221; she said.
&#8220;Through our Buy For a Cause program, we’re putting diapers and wipes directly into the hands of parents who have lost everything,” Seifert said, adding that it was “an honor” to work with “the American people and our on-the-ground partners to meet these urgent needs — and to remind Texas families that they are not alone.”
The diaper company&#8217;s boots-on-the-ground partners, Operation Blessing, CityServe, and Convoy of Hope, are &#8220;working tirelessly to ensure these essential items reach families impacted by any means necessary,&#8221; EveryLife said.
At least 107 people have died in the massive floods that hit Texas on July 4. Many families with small children were displaced from their homes and are still in need of basic essentials like diapers and wipes. Rescue efforts for survivors are still ongoing.
&#8220;We are blown away by the generosity of our community already,&#8221; Seifert told Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro Wednesday morning. &#8220;We have already seen over 420,000 wipes donated, as well as over 294,000 diapers — and I feel like we&#8217;re just getting started.&#8221;

EveryLife was launched in 2023 by PublicSq., an online marketplace that works to help “freedom-loving Americans” find businesses that align with their values and brands itself as a conservative alternative to Amazon.
The pro-life diaper company also supports pro-life organizations, donating diapers and wipes to crisis pregnancy centers.
EveryLife is growing quickly and now delivers diapers in all 50 states, the company said.
When the company launched, EveryLife released an ad calling out progressive companies for embracing anti-life values, such as saying they would cover the travel expenses for their female employees’ abortions.
“While so many companies are promoting what is wrong, we choose to celebrate what is right — life,” the ad’s narrator said. “Every miracle from God, boy and girl, black, tan, and white, planned and unplanned, gifted and special.”
Earlier this year, EveryLife also launched a prayer campaign along with prominent Christian leaders for couples hoping to have children, called “Praying for More Babies in 2025.&#8221;

Daily Wire host Michael Knowles encouraged college graduates at Ave Maria University on Saturday to “not try to change the world,” but rather understand and interpret it.
Knowles received an honorary doctorate degree from the university ahead of a roughly 15-minutes address to the graduating class of 2025. The Catholic Daily Wire host told graduates that instead of attempting to change the world, they should focus on God and understanding the spiritual meaning that is connected with physical realities.
“Our Lord does not give us signs and wonders merely for our amusement. He gives us signs and wonders to point us to our final end, which is Him,” Knowles said. “A Catholic cannot ignore signs and wonders. The Catholic vision is full of symbols. There is no neutrality. There is no emptiness. Everything means something. Nothing means nothing.”
“To modern people without faith, even the most spectacular miracle can be nothing more than a coincidence. To Catholics, there can never be any such thing as a mere coincidence, no matter how trivial the phenomenon, because we know that God governs all things and has ordered the entire cosmos according to His providence down to the most minute detail. So, you&#8217;d better pay attention,” he added.
In his speech, Knowles lauded the graduates for choosing a religious institution such as Ave Maria to receive a “proper university education.” A true education must include religious study as God is the “source and summit of all knowledge,” he said.
“Universities are so called because they purport to teach universal knowledge, but as Saint John Henry Newman observed, ‘A university that neglects the source and summit of all knowledge can make no such claim,’” said Knowles. “These universities-in-name-only insist that they ignore God in order to pay greater attention to other supposedly sturdier subjects: biology, literature, philosophy, and so on.”
“But having gone wrong on the ultimate subject of knowledge, these schools quickly go wrong on subordinate areas of knowledge, too. They banish nature from philosophy, the great books from literature, and chromosomes from biology,” he continued. “Error in principle causes endless problems in the particulars.”
Toward the end of his speech, Knowles directed the graduates to leave graduation and “to cooperate with God’s grace to do what He wants for you.”
“Your job is not to change the world, which you could not do even if you tried, but rather to cooperate with God&#8217;s grace to do what He wants for you,” Knowles said. “The purpose of education is to cultivate your intellect and discipline your wills such that there is no difference between what God wants for you and what you want for yourselves. This lifelong habit is true education and the condition it brings is true freedom.”
“You, Ave Maria graduates, I hope and trust have an education that will allow you to make sense of the world – even to love the world – not so much for what it offers as for what it represents, not for its ephemeral pleasures, but for its meaning,” said Knowles.

Matt Walsh is a man of many talents — a popular podcaster, a notable documentarian, a feared fisherman, and a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyrDtgjAgII" target="_blank" rel="noopener">surprisingly good</a> &#8220;Mortal Kombat&#8221; player. There is one persistent trait, however, that must be addressed: his passionate hatred of &#8220;Star Wars.&#8221;
I discovered Walsh’s animosity for &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; in May of 2023 while listening to his <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/ep-1156-princeton-professor-tries-to-debunk-biology-fails-hilariously?elementPosition=155&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+Show+Episodes+Carousel">show</a>. After hearing I played a recently released &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; game, he looked dead into the camera and said he was “repulsed by (me) completely.” And then continued to call me a “complete and utter disgrace.” Harsh. 
Last Thursday, theaters nationwide <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DIbYlxVpJnc/">launched</a> a week-long re-release of “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith” to celebrate the film&#8217;s 20th anniversary. The film stands out not only for its stunning cinematography, one of a kind soundtrack, and compelling life-lessons, but also as the final “Star Wars” entry before progressive-infused Disney’s acquisition.
Walsh, apparently, did not recognize the exceptional film for what it is. After taking his children to see it in theaters, he <a href="https://x.com/MattWalshBlog/status/1917266257956724823" target="_blank" rel="noopener">took</a> to X and attacked the movie.
I will now address his unfounded criticisms.
His first issue is with the film’s dialogue. Walsh claims “Revenge of the Sith” has “the worst dialogue he’s ever heard in a mainstream Hollywood film.” To support his claim, he quotes a romantic scene between Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala: 
<blockquote>Anakin: You’re so beautiful 
Padme: It’s only because I’m so in love
Anakin: No it’s because I’m so in love with you 
Walsh leaves out the second half of the scene, which reveals the lines are not poorly written, but instead an intentional foreshadowing of what is to come later in the film. The scene continues;
Padme: So love has blinded you?
Anakin: Well, that&#8217;s not exactly what I meant. 
Padme: But it’s probably true.</blockquote>
At this point in the film, Anakin believes his wife is going to die in childbirth because of a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLb_k4Pz3CM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vision </a>he has in his sleep. As the primary antagonist, Emperor Palpatine (not Ovaltine) tells him that committing to the Dark Side is the only way to save her. This, and his blinding love for Padme, leads him to commit the atrocities he does later in the film. Pure genius from George Lucas, who Walsh claims should be arrested.

Walsh’s next criticism of the film is that it has “abysmal action choreography.” To me, this attack is the most absurd. 
The final <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3OtoO5zjjU&amp;t=358s">fight</a> between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi, master versus apprentice, is one of the most iconic fight scenes in cinema history. Numerous outlets such as <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VpsG7JA-jc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WatchMojo</a>, <a href="https://screenrant.com/best-movie-sword-fights-ranked/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ScreenRant</a>, and <a href="https://movieweb.com/best-one-on-one-sword-fights-in-movies/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MovieWeb</a> all rank the battle as one of the greatest sword fights in movie history. The fight was choreographed by legendary stuntman Nick Gillard, and is not sped up at all. Both actors trained relentlessly to master each move shown on camera.

Walsh specifically attacks the final move of the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin, saying the following;
<blockquote>Anakin jumps and flips through the air like Spider-Man but then at the end he loses because the other guy is standing on a small hill and has the higher ground. This was for some reason an insurmountable strategic advantage, even though Anakin had just seconds earlier leaped like 20 feet in the air while doing flips like an Olympic gymnast. So then Anakin decides to jump directly over top the other guy, close enough that he can just casually reach up and cut his legs off. He could have jumped anywhere else on the hill, or just a little higher, and avoided this issue.</blockquote>
Like many things Walsh has criticized in the film, the seemingly risky move Anakin used was intentional. Young Anakin Skywalker was fascinated by his master Obi-Wan’s triumph over Darth Maul in “Episode I: The Phantom Menace.” To defeat Maul, Obi-Wan <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsAEdblcqU4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">flipped over him</a> and cut him in half upon landing.
When Anakin fights Obi-Wan, his pride and ego is at an all time high. He wants to prove to his once-master that he is now his superior. This is why moments before the final move, Anakin tells Obi-Wan, “You underestimate my power!”
Obi-Wan can sense Anakin is going to try his own move against him, so he offers one final warning, “Don’t try it.” Anakin did not listen, and ended up getting his legs cut off.
Walsh also criticized where the battle takes place, on a lava planet “for some reason.” He clearly suffers from a lack of knowledge in &#8220;Star Wars&#8221; lore. It’s the same reason he doesn’t understand why Anakin jumped over Obi-Wan.
The planet they fought on, Mustafar, is <a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mustafar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">described</a> by Wookiepedia as “powerful in the Dark Side of The Force.” Palpatine sent Anakin there so he could tap into the Dark Side more intensely as he slaughtered the separatists who were awaiting him. In the 2017 comic Darth Vader 5, Palpatine <a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Darth_Vader_(2017)_5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">instructs</a> Vader to return to Mustafar because it “is not like other planets. It is unique. Deep beneath its surface rests a locus for the Dark Side of The Force.&#8221;
Vader was so drawn to the planet’s Dark Side power that seven years after “Revenge of the Sith,” he built his <a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Fortress_Vader" target="_blank" rel="noopener">castle</a>, Fortress Vader, there. 
Walsh’s final objection to the film was that it “took itself too seriously.” He expands on this by claiming “You can’t be campy and fun and also have mass child slaughter in the same film.”
Most of Walsh&#8217;s criticisms come from a lack of looking beneath the surface, taking everything at face value. “Revenge of the Sith” was always meant to be lighthearted in the beginning, and tragic in the end. After nearly three decades of fans left without a backstory, the purpose of the movie was to show how Hollywood’s most iconic villain, Darth Vader, transformed from a cunning warrior for good, to the embodiment of evil.
Following the classic hero&#8217;s journey literary archetype, we witness Anakin’s lighthearted upbringing in Episodes 1 and 2, his tragic fall in the second half of Episode 3, and his eventual redemption in Episode 6. A story that George Lucas brilliantly wrote and produced over 3 decades.
Walsh’s tweet thread ends on a lighter note, expressing that despite all of his concerns, his kids liked it. To me and countless other fans who believe “Revenge of the Sith” is one of the greatest films ever made, we can only hope Matt Walsh will read this piece and watch it again with an open mind.

The State Department said on Wednesday it had shuttered the propaganda office that funded efforts to deem media outlets “misinformation” and pressured social media companies to censor content, a major victory for conservative critics who have long pinpointed the agency as key cog of the censorship industry.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that though the Global Engagement Center (GEC) was defunded by Congress last year following scandal, the Biden administration had moved its staff to a similar unit. 
The 2016 authorization of the office had an eight-year sunset, and the Republican-controlled House refused to re-fund the agency in 2024. But before it gave up power, the Biden administration appeared to essentially rebrand the entity, keeping the same staff under a new name: &#8220;the Counter-Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference hub,” or R/FIMI. The State Department said in a court filing that it planned to “realign the Center’s staff and funding to other Department offices.” 
Rubio said all remnants of the operation will be eradicated. All 30 full-time staff that were working for R/FIMI were put on leave, and Congress was notified on Wednesday morning that all full-time staff positions under R/FIMI had been eliminated.
“Under the previous administration, this office, which cost taxpayers more than $50 million per year, spent millions of dollars to actively silence and censor the voices of Americans they were supposed to be serving,&#8221; Rubio said in a statement. &#8220;This is antithetical to the very principals we should be upholding and inconceivable it was taking place in America. That ends today.&#8221; 
“Individuals in America have been slandered, fired, charged, and even jailed for simply voicing their opinions. That is not an America our Founding Fathers would recognize. It is the responsibility of every government official to continuously work to preserve and protect the freedom for Americans to exercise their free speech,” he added
GEC was created in 2011 as the Center for Strategic Counter Terrorism Communications. In 2016 it was renamed and tasked to “coordinate U.S. government communications aimed at countering foreign terrorist propaganda, particularly from groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda.” 
But after the 2016 election, when Democrats began painting “misinformation” as a national security threat, the GEC turned its attention to American social media platforms, even setting up an office in Silicon Valley to pressure them to remove content, such as “conspiracy theories” like the idea that coronavirus came from a Chinese lab.
Like other State Department programs, GEC was forbidden from operating on Americans.
But it may have circumvented that ban by funding third-party groups to do it for them. GEC ran contests encouraging private companies to get into the business of classifying news as “misinformation,” and paid groups like the Global Disinformation Index and NewsGuard. 
The Global Disinformation Index put American media outlets on a “Dynamic Exclusion List” that was distributed to advertisers and named mainstream publications like the New York Post, Reason Magazine, The Daily Wire, and the Federalist as “risky.”
NewsGuard’s business model is similar. In March 2023, its co-CEO, Gordon Crovitz, praised his company for “empowering governments… to support quality journalism and systemically defund sources of harmful misinformation.” NewsGuard has a deal with the teachers union promoting its media-rating browser extension in schools, and public libraries also use the software. The browser extension causes a “Proceed with Maximum Caution” flag to appear next to search results from flagged outlets.
GEC hosted a website called Disinfo Cloud that boosted products aimed at bankrupt conservative news outlets by convincing advertisers to boycott them on the basis that they are dangerous misinformation that should not be economically supported.
The State Department said the contests “were aimed at countering disinformation and propaganda overseas.” But “Defendants admit that Disinfo Cloud users included some members of academia, the private sector, and tech vendors, including some located within the United States,” it <a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.txed.226532/gov.uscourts.txed.226532.75.0.pdf">conceded</a> in lawsuit filings.
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/five-takeaways-from-twitter-fbi-agents-deposition-in-censorship-lawsuit-brought-by-conservative-states">Elvis Chan</a>, an FBI agent involved in asking Twitter to take down posts including those related to the Hunter Biden laptop, told Congress that he worked regularly with GEC, and that GEC did not seem to be concerned with the First Amendment since it was used to operating in foreign countries.
In December 2023, The Daily Wire and The Federalist <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daily-wire-texas-ag-ask-court-to-block-state-departments-domestic-misinformation-efforts">sued</a> GEC, arguing that it was working to “render unprofitable, disfavored press outlets by funding the infrastructure, development, and marketing and promotion of censorship technology and private censorship enterprises to covertly suppress speech of a segment of the American press.”
“State Department disinformation tools were developed…as tools of warfare…in the context of national security” and “foreign relations,” then “misdirected to be used at home against domestic political opponents,” the suit said.
GEC “researched, assessed, funded, investigated, evaluated, tested, marketed, and/or promoted over 365 so-called Countering Propaganda and Disinformation or ‘CPD’ tools and technologies, including tools and technologies that target American speech and the American  press. These tools and technologies include so-called fact-checking technologies, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/how-the-biden-administration-used-a-counter-terrorism-grant-to-fund-anti-conservative-propaganda">media literacy</a> tools, media intelligence platforms, social network mapping, and machine learning/artificial intelligence technology,” a legal filing alleged. 
The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Texas. The State Department sought to have it moved to a Washington, D.C., judge, but the Texas judge refused. 
GEC operated with a secrecy that suggested a guilty conscience. The State Department admitted in the lawsuit to funding the Global Disinformation Index and NewsGuard through a middleman, Park Capital Investment Group. It <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/state-department-subpoenaed-over-use-of-foreign-propaganda-weapon-against-domestic-media">refused</a> to provide information about the activities even to Congress, forcing the House Small Business Committee to subpoena it.

Former University of Michigan defensive analyst Connor Stalions, one of the most controversial figures in college football in recent years, sat down with “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/ccs-ep-732-member-exclusive" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Crain &amp; Company</a>” for an in-depth interview on the program’s sign-stealing scandal.
An NCAA investigation into Michigan and its former head coach, Jim Harbaugh, allegedly centers on claims that Stalions sent scouts to future opponents’ games to record their play-calling signals. The Big Ten Conference suspended Harbaugh for three games during the 2023 season over the scandal, and Stalions stepped down from his position after he was also suspended. The NCAA has not revealed any information about how Stalions allegedly violated NCAA rules.
During his interview with the hosts of “Crain &amp; Company” released on Tuesday, Stalions gave viewers a glimpse into how he cracked his opponents&#8217; signals on the field, including those of Michigan’s biggest rival, Ohio State. While on offense, teams usually task their backup quarterbacks and graduate assistants with calling in plays by hand motions from the sideline. For most teams, a “live” signaler is calling the actual plays while two or three “dummy” signalers bluff to prevent the opponents from easily deciphering the call.

Stalions revealed that during the Michigan-Ohio State game in 2022, he quickly deciphered the Buckeyes’ live signaler.
“Ohio State didn&#8217;t change their live signaler in 2022 all season. The whole year,” he said.
“Including the game against Michigan?” asked a stunned David Cone, former Michigan quarterback and co-host of &#8220;Crain and Company.&#8221;
Stalions said that he and fellow staff member Denard Robinson quickly realized that Ohio State didn’t switch out their live signaler for the big game.
“You can call anyone from any Big Ten team when you trade signals during the week, and they all say the same thing: ‘Yeah, it&#8217;s the same guy,’” Stalions added. “Now, when you watch any game on TV, you can see &#8230; you can tell the whole time who&#8217;s live.”
Asked by host Jake Crain if Ohio State kept the same live signaler all season “out of arrogance or incompetence,” Stalions replied, “It might be a little bit of both. I don&#8217;t know.” The former Michigan staffer then said that he correctly predicted that Ohio State would swap out their live signaler for the second half.
“I said, ‘Hey, if there&#8217;s any time all year they&#8217;re going to change, it’s going to be this first drive or the second drive. And sure enough, I said, ‘If they’re going to change, it’s going to be that guy, the tall [graduate assistant] or whatever, and sure enough they switched,” he said.
Michigan went on to win that game 45–23, holding Ohio State to just three points in the second half.
“They changed their like route concepts going into that game,” Stalions said of Ohio State. “I don&#8217;t care what your route concepts are, right? If I can tell you&#8217;re going to run the ball or pass the ball … all I care about is the formation.”

Michigan won the national championship in 2024, capping off a perfect season. Between 2021 and 2023, Michigan had one of its best stretches in program history. The team posted a 40-3 record, winning three straight Big Ten championships and making three straight College Football Playoff appearances. After Stalions left the Michigan staff in the middle of the 2023 season, he went on to coach Belleville High School in Michigan as an offensive coordinator, helping the team win a state championship in 2024. At Belleville, Stalions also coached the number-one recruit in the country, quarterback Bryce Underwood, who switched his commitment from LSU to Michigan last year.
Some argue that the sign-stealing scandal surrounding Michigan should result in the program&#8217;s wins from the past few seasons and its 2024 national championship being vacated. Stalions, who joined the Michigan staff as a volunteer assistant in 2018, has maintained that sign stealing isn&#8217;t unusual in college football programs and doesn&#8217;t violate NCAA rules.

President Donald Trump schooled the Left on Friday when he was able to successfully provide an answer to that age old question, “What Is A Woman?”
During an impromptu <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljL5tX2xK_U">press conference</a> from the Oval Office, a reporter asked if Trump could explain “what is a woman” and why “it’s important that we understand the difference between a man and a woman?”
&#8220;Well, it&#8217;s sort of easy to answer for me, because a woman is somebody that can have a baby, under certain circumstances. A woman is a person who is much smarter than a man, I&#8217;ve always found,” Trump said, which drew laughter from those in the room.
“A woman is a person that doesn&#8217;t give a man even a chance of success,” he added. “And a woman is a person that, in many cases, has been treated very badly. Because I think what happens with this crazy issue, crazy issue, when it comes to men being able to play in women’s sports is just ridiculous.”
“And very unfair to women. And very demeaning to women,” the president continued.

The comments came after Daily Wire host Matt Walsh first posed the question in his groundbreaking 2022 documentary “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What Is a Woman</a>?” that turned the Democrats&#8217; issue about trans-identifying males competing in women’s sports and being allowed in female spaces on its head.
Trump understood how insane the Left’s view about allowing men in women’s spaces was and successfully wrangled it from the Democrats during the 2024 election, helping to return him back to the White House, where he&#8217;s made it clear trans-identifying males can never be women, no matter what they do.
Earlier this week at the Women’s History Month event in the East Room of the White House, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/megyn-kelly-riley-gaines-celebrate-trumps-comments-about-women-and-trans-identifying-men" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Trump pointed</a> to the Executive Order he signed that the United States will only recognize two genders.
“For four long years, we had an administration that tried to abolish the very concept of womanhood and replace it with radical gender ideology. … Under the Trump administration, we’re ending the Marxist war on women,” Trump <a href="https://x.com/GBNEWS/status/1904986924692959382">said</a>.
“No matter how many surgeries you have, or chemicals you inject, if you are born with male DNA in every cell of your body, you can never become a woman,” he added. “You’re not going to be a woman.”
“And that’s why last month, I proudly signed a historic executive order to ban [trans-identifying] men from competing in women’s sports,” the president continued, noting that he also banned “puberty blockers and the sexual mutilation of minors.”

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday told Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro that there was “absolutely nothing” that could get him to change his mind about Derek Chauvin.
Shapiro <a href="https://x.com/realDailyWire/status/1904610435820589375" target="_blank" rel="noopener">joined</a> “The Stephen A. Smith Show” to make his case for pardoning Chauvin, the police officer convicted for killing George Floyd. Earlier this month, Smith<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/stephen-a-smith-attacks-me" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> suggested</a> Shapiro&#8217;s motives were disingenuous, and that he would not have called for Chauvin to be pardoned if he were black, or if Floyd was Jewish.
But even after Shapiro outlined the evidence for why Chauvin should not have been charged with murder, Smith remained unmoved.
“What would it take for you to change your mind on the case?” Shapiro asked after noting that Floyd had requested to leave the police car and that Chauvin was following protocol in detaining him.
&#8220;There&#8217;s absolutely nothing that could convince me that Derek Chauvin deserved a different outcome,&#8221; Smith said.

Smith also attempted to argue that Shapiro could not weigh in on the Floyd case because he did not have the “lived experience” of “black folks.”
“What about the argument that when we talk about black folks, you can talk about data all you want to … but the real experiences that we endure from time to time, is not something that you can necessarily calculate,” Smith said. “How seriously do you take those assertions coming from a community whether it’s your own, mine, or anybody else&#8217;s?”

Shapiro admitted it’s true that we can “never fully get into one another&#8217;s shoes,” but said that “when it comes to making public policy then the only sort of gauge that you can have really is the data.”
“When it comes to trying to craft law, for example, making law based on the personal feelings of people’s quote unquote lived experiences, is a bad way to make law that is going to have to be generally applicable.”
Smith agreed and said “Yeah, you make a valid point about policy when you talk about policy. You can’t just go by personal experience. It’s got to be the numbers. It’s got to be the data.”
Shapiro earlier this month launched &#8220;The Case For Derek Chauvin,&#8221; a five-part series diving into the Floyd incident and making the case for Chauvin&#8217;s innocence.
&#8220;The evidence demonstrates that Derek Chauvin did not, in fact, commit the murder of George Floyd,” Shapiro said. “George Floyd was high on fentanyl; he had a significant pre-existing heart condition. George Floyd was saying he could not breathe before he was even out of the car. He was in the car saying he could not breathe.”

Daughters of the American Revolution Chapters have reached out to President Donald Trump in their fight against the national organization’s decision to allow trans-identifying males into the historic female group.
Labeling themselves Daughters Advocating for Restoration, the Martha Laird Chapter in Texas along with five endorsing chapters in five different states wrote that the DAR has “fallen prey to trans ideology” <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/1659132851538607/permalink/1816370339148190/?mibextid=wwXIfr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">i</a>n a letter to the president obtained by The Daily Wire.
The group called on Trump to “shine a light on what has happened within the ranks of the DAR” following the <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/2025/01/defending-women-from-gender-ideology-extremism-and-restoring-biological-truth-to-the-federal-government/">executive order</a> he signed, which states that the United States will only recognize two genders.
“Being unable to join the Sons of America Revolution, the DAR was founded in 1890 for women, by women,” the letter read, noting the group’s mission to “promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism.” “However, National and State leadership have abandoned the moral obligations of this once stalwart and prestigious institution to embrace the transgender movement.”
The letter noted that its national organization has claimed that by “excluding trans-identifying men,” it would “strip the DAR of its 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax status without referencing any federal, civil, or municipal code.”
“They proclaim that a man is a woman if he lives and identifies as a woman and that we must allow men with a state-certified birth certificate, altered to show a female sex marker, in our women’s only society,” the letter added, pointing out how “two grassroots proposals to close this loophole” have been rejected and national leadership has “admonished members not to speak about it and threatened them with disciplinary action.”
The letter was signed by 150 plus members of the DAR, who oppose the message from their national organization that allows men with altered birth certificates to become members.
The DAR National Board of Management recently rejected a proposal from its Texas chapter to keep trans-identifying men out of the group.
In a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=122126401004407101&amp;set=gm.1792407311544493&amp;idorvanity=1659132851538607">letter</a> to the Martha Laird Chapter, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daughters-of-the-american-revolution-board-to-vote-to-keep-trans-identifying-men-out">DAR National Board of Management</a> said it “found the proposed amendment” to prohibit all men, including trans-identifying males, from the group “not to be suitable for inclusion in the bylaws and not to be in the best interest of the Society.”
Daily Wire host Michael Knowles <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/michael-knowles-exposes-transgender-attempt-to-infiltrate-daughters-of-american-revolution">revealed</a> — in a viral thread on <a href="https://x.com/michaeljknowles/status/1838267625962405922">X</a> — how a group of DAR members were “channeling the rebellious spirit of their forebears” by fighting back “this time building a larger, grassroots effort to affirm the original intent of the bylaws and prevent men from continuing to invade their genealogical society.”
Laura McDonald, member of the Martha Laird DAR Chapter, told The Daily Wire, “The spirit of the new proposal [voted on Feb. 22] to amend the National Bylaws is to impel applicants to act in good faith when submitting their documents for application. At the same time, it will send a clear message that the Daughters of the American Revolution is a society exclusively for women. Men need not apply &#8211; no matter what state-certified, altered documents he produces.&#8221;
The national organization has declined a request for comment from The Daily Wire about trans-identifying males joining the DAR.
