There are plenty of reasons the internet is abuzz about the Daily Wire&#8217;s new film, “Run Hide Fight: Infidels.&#8221; But one scene in particular dominating the conversation.
Leftwing outlets panned it. Social media reaction skewed positive. And almost everyone agrees that one of the craziest scenes involves two students: a gay man, Bruce, and a blue-haired activist named Farrah, who find out the consequences of siding with the terrorists when push comes to shove. Literally.
“We just … didn’t expect … so much death,” Bruce (Colton Kugler) says with a frown. “We have killed the right amount to instill fear,” the terrorist leader Ibrahim (Stephen Hailo) assures him. “Many we let run so they could tell others of our strength and the remaining ones are … piano keys.”
Ibrahim goes on to complain that “so many in your country cannot even be bothered to produce children” but suggests these two students will reverse that trend. Farrah rejects the assumption that they’re a couple. “We’re not…” she stutters, before declaring herself pansexual. “I like everyone,” she explains, as Bruce chimes in, “I’m gay.”
This prompts the terrorist to push Bruce off the roof, killing him. When the blue-haired pansexual attempts to run away, screaming and trying to reason that they “want the same thing,” she makes one last attempt, saying, “Please! God!” before the terrorist slits her throat while declaring, “There is no God but Allah.”
This scene has been circulating online, with viewers calling it “<a href="https://x.com/patrick2604/status/2100358113261932901?s=43">bonkers</a>” and saying it “<a href="https://x.com/OliLondonTV/status/2100437959334035946">exposes [the] absurdity</a> of ‘Queers for Palestine.’”
“That&#8217;s the hard truth and unbiased reality of this ‘alliance’ the left has made with Jihadists. They will be put to the sword as soon as there are no other enemies left,” another commenter <a href="https://x.com/SpaceJellySSA/status/2100596671596146955">agreed</a>. “They are the useful idiots with blue hair.”
“Love it!! All the brainwashed millennial morons should have that as required watching,” <a href="https://x.com/dapperdan68/status/2100554130519367819">echoed</a> another.
The scene also appeared in the most recent <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj8f_IPyeRA" target="_blank" rel="noopener">episode</a> of “Friendly Fire,” with Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, Matt Walsh, and Andrew Klavan weighing in. 
Klavan called the hypocrisy “imaginary life,” comparing the scene to how liberals in Martha’s Vineyard reacted when immigrants arrived on their doorsteps. “They can’t stand when you make fun of it, because it exposes it for what it is, which is vapor,” Klavan said.
Shapiro pointed out that the scene exposes a huge flaw of the Left: they believe so deeply in their own virtue. “The notion that radical leftists are just wonderful people who believe that others should be treated with decency, care, and respect is such a bunch of horsesh*t,” he said. 
“Some of the cruelest people, some of the most destructive people — people who would, for example, be trolling it up on TikTok over Charlie Kirk getting assassinated or something — those people are the people who just want others to be treated with decency and care and respect. And that&#8217;s why they&#8217;re protesting in favor of Hamas in Gaza or why on 9/11 they&#8217;re reading Osama bin Laden&#8217;s letters &#8230; because they&#8217;re so empathetic. And how dare we make fun of those people.”
“If you really feel the empathy for the Islamic terrorist, then yeah, you&#8217;re kind of suicidal,” Shapiro concluded.

Every American remembers where he was on September 11, 2001.
It was the same for my generation on the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated. Dark days such as these may not cause the dark history that follows them, but it’s difficult not to feel they mark the place in time where a certain shadow fell.
JFK’s murder marked the end of that period of patriotism, confidence, and unity brought about by the Allied victory in World War II. The Islamist destruction of the World Trade Center marked the end of the “Holiday from History” that followed the West’s victory in the Cold War.
Many of today’s young people feel beset and battered by such catastrophic days. Endless wars in the Middle East. The 2008 financial crisis. The COVID lockdowns. Race riots. Inflation. The madness of woke — or the rise of conservative populism, or both, depending on your point of view.

But, of course, my generation also saw such things. The Cuban missile crisis. The 60s riots. Assassination after assassination. The stagflation of the Jimmy Carter economy, and the gas shortage. Speaking personally, I lived in the crime-ridden New York City of the 70s and 80s, when smoking was bad for your health because you were likely to get shot going to the store for a pack of cigarettes.
Yet I also saw that things could turn around. I saw Ronald Reagan restore the economy and help engineer the end of the Soviet Union. I saw Rudy Giuliani transform a cesspool of a city into the greatest, safest metropolis on Earth, thus leading the way to an era of lower crime across the nation. These men were reviled every day by the powers-that-be and the news media. Yet on they went, and did what they did and accomplished what they accomplished. As we recently saw in the Lindsay Clancy trial, it really is true: One man with courage makes a majority.
Still, there is no doubt we are living in an age of uncertainty. As the Baby Boom generation passes into the greater life and its long-dominant vision begins to fade, destructive radicals are vying to fill the gap. The collapse of a non-credible news media followed by the rise of a non-credible social media has caused an information crisis — a long Good Friday in which it seems the truth is forever being crucified. We know from history that such uncertainties often resolve themselves through war. It doesn’t take a catastrophist to trace a potential path from the present moment to some worldwide conflagration.
All this, I think, should be taken seriously, but calmly, too, in a spirit of hope.
It has always fascinated me — and puzzled me somewhat — that hope is considered one of the three primary Christian virtues. Faith, hope, and agape love — that spirit of benign, non-judgmental goodwill sometimes called charity. I feel I understand two of these virtues. Faith is “the evidence of things unseen.” It gives us assurance that we can know and live in some human version of God’s truth. Agape love is the spiritual practice that helps us develop the third eye with which we see that truth, even amid the harsh practicalities of life.
But what about hope? I suppose this could mean the sort of generalized hope that “all things work together for good to them that love God,” the hope that suffering and death lead to eternal life and so on. But this always sounds to me better than it actually is. I know a lot of people who believe in that kind of hope, and yet they live as pessimists, morosely and sometimes angrily counting every setback as a sign of the incipient End of Days.
I myself am frequently derided for what some deem my blindly optimistic attitude. But I think they mistake me. I see the possibility of disaster just as clearly as they do. It’s the certainty of disaster that is rarely apparent to me. I am a tragedian by nature. I take a dim view of humanity. I know that every mortal enterprise will ultimately end in failure and death. I simply don’t believe that it will necessarily end today — &#8220;Sufficient unto this day is the evil thereof.&#8221;
This sort of hope is the hope of doctors and soldiers. Of Gandalf’s consolation: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.” This is the sort of hope that knows that in the certain march toward death, today is a day of life and there are works to do and tears to shed and loves to love. This, I think, is the hope described by the poet Emily Dickinson when she <a href="https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/42889/hope-is-the-thing-with-feathers-314">wrote</a>:

And sings the tune without the words &#8211; 
And never stops &#8211; at all &#8230;

“The tune without the words,” means, as I read it, not with grim reason ceaselessly charting out the possible paths to destruction, but with a general attitude of joy in living. Whatever the outcome, after all, this is the day that the Lord has made. We should rejoice in it and be glad.
When The Daily Wire began, it was Ben Shapiro and I recording podcasts in the pool house in Jeremy Boreing’s backyard. The first day, I was so jet-lagged from a trip to England that I forgot to put my shoes on and arrived wearing bedroom slippers. I stumbled through a short opening podcast that ended with that Bible quote: &#8220;This is the day that the Lord has made.&#8221; It was like nothing else I’d ever done. So when I was finished, I asked Jeremy how it went. He said, “Great, but you say ‘uh’ too much.” I said, “Well, what can I do about that?” He said, “You can not say it.”
I was startled to discover that this was true. It was a small piece of wisdom, but it grew greater over time. Because I also soon discovered you could treat fear and depression and despair in much the same way. Without denial, without repression, without dishonesty, you could simply not do them and let the thing with feathers sing.
“A day may come when the courage of Men fails, when we forsake our friends, and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day.” So says Aragorn in the movie version of “The Lord of the Rings.” And he adds: “This day we fight.”
So yes, the crises facing the West this day are real, and so are the possibilities that they will lead to disaster. But every day is the Lord’s day, and we are only responsible for the days He has given us.
So this day, we rejoice — each one of us — and we fight.
Because one man with courage makes a majority.

Defiant Hope Conquers Despair In An Age Of Uncertainty

Clay Travis built one sports media powerhouse. Now he’s launching another and bringing it to The Daily Wire.
Just three weeks after launching <a href="https://sportandstate.com/">Sport &amp; State</a>, a digital sports and culture network, Travis is teaming up with Ben Shapiro’s conservative news site to put the new platform in front of the company’s massive audience of more than 25 million. 
And it’s not just the written content making the jump.
Under the partnership, Sport &amp; State’s sports coverage will be featured on <a href="http://dailywire.com/">DailyWire.com</a>, while “The Clay Travis &amp; Buck Sexton Show” will soon be available for subscribers to stream across Daily Wire platforms. Sport &amp; State will also receive featured placement throughout those platforms, and audiences can expect future collaborations and appearances involving talent from both companies.
The deal gives Sport &amp; State immediate national distribution while adding a daily sports franchise to The Daily Wire&#8217;s programming. Travis, who founded OutKick before Fox acquired the company, also co-hosts &#8220;The Clay Travis &amp; Buck Sexton Show,&#8221; which reaches 7 million listeners across 550 stations in all 50 states.
“Clay Travis is one of the most talented in the industry at capturing an audience and building a brand,” Daily Wire CEO Mike Richards said. “We are building a coalition of smart and interesting commentators at the Daily Wire that will bring our audience sophisticated sports, culture, and political commentary — Clay has blended all three at Sport &amp; State.”
“This was a natural fit and a partnership that we are really excited to bring to our audience at the Daily Wire,” Richards added.
Travis said the partnership will help Sport &amp; State expand its reach among conservative Americans.
“We are looking to rapidly expand Sport &amp; State and get our content in front of as many patriotic Americans as we can,” Travis said. “The guys over at Daily Wire have been friends of mine for a long time, and I think this new venture is a perfect fit for collaboration.”
“We have missionally aligned companies, so I am confident their audience is going to thoroughly enjoy what we are building at Sport &amp; State,” he added.
The Daily Wire plans to celebrate the partnership at its BaRNC event in Dallas during this week’s historic Republican National Convention.
The Sport &amp; State deal comes as The Daily Wire continues expanding its programming beyond the news. The company just launched its new Sunday show, “The District Club,” and will premiere “Run Hide Fight: Infidels” on September 16. The ’80s-style action thriller centers on radical Islamist terrorists who seize a college campus.

‘Sport & State’: Clay Travis Brings His Playbook To The Daily Wire

“Are we paying attention?”
That&#8217;s the critical line from the latest trailer for The Daily Wire’s highly anticipated new action thriller, “Run Hide Fight: Infidels.&#8221; 
The newest teaser trailer has it all: blue-haired protesters screeching about civil rights, normal students asking what a campus protest is even about, administrators debating free speech, and then the major action shots after the Islamic terrorists carry out their plot.
The subject matter couldn’t be more timely. A follow-up to the hit 2020 action film “Run Hide Fight” — which dealt with a school shooting — takes place on a college campus that has been taken over by violent terrorists in a situation that’s chillingly true to life.

Jonathan Majors stars as Captain Clay Saunders, a retired Delta Force soldier who is on campus to promote his new book. Radical Islamic terrorists stage a violent attack, co-opting a hapless group of campus protesters, to try to stop Saunders from spreading his warning against the rise of Islam in America.
The terrorists take over the campus. “There is no God but Allah,” one of them insists while his henchmen press their boots on the backs of the hostages. But not everyone is willing to give up so quickly.
“What do you say we turn those S.O.B.s into a fine red mist?” Majors says as he gets locked and loaded. 
The drama is real, but there’s also some humor, as one scene in the trailer proves. “You need a course in safe weapons handling,” one security guard tells a student just after he shoots wildly into the ceiling. 
Altogether, the new trailer offers a taste of the action to come. Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/run-hide-fight-infidels-takes-on-the-enemy-hollywood-wont-touch">described</a> “Infidels” as “a 1990s-style action blockbuster — think ‘Toy Soldiers’ meets ‘Red Dawn.’”
“It’s exciting. It’s intense. It’s funny. It’s the biggest movie we’ve ever done,&#8221; Shapiro added. &#8220;The radical jihadists lose, the red-blooded Americans win, and nobody apologizes for any of it. More importantly, it also says the thing: radical Islam is a threat to America, and we are all morons if we let it take over our country.&#8221;
Shapiro also addressed some of the criticisms being lobbed at the film, saying, “If the Left is this pissed off at the trailer, just wait until they see the film.”
&#8220;Infidels&#8221; marks a comeback for Majors and a return to traditional action-packed storytelling that’s been missing from Hollywood for some time.
Producer Dallas Sonnier revealed that Red Dawn was certainly an inspiration. 
“We all worship at the altar of [director] John Milius and Red Dawn,&#8221; Sonnier told Page Six, &#8220;and Eastwood, and all the other wonderful action stars of the ’80s — Stallone and Schwarzenegger.&#8221;
&#8220;Nobody’s making these types of movies anymore.”

There are a lot of conservative companies that love to talk about family. Have children. Have more children. Motherhood matters. Family comes first. Children are a blessing, not a burden.
I agree with all of it. But after working for one of the biggest conservative news organizations in the country, I learned there can be a pretty enormous difference between preaching those values and actually practicing them.
I know this because, before I had children, I was part of the problem. Then I became a mom. Suddenly, I understood what it felt like to worry that your child might make a noise during a Zoom call. I knew the panic of trying to work while also being a mother, terrified that someone might decide the two couldn&#8217;t coexist.
At my former workplace, working mothers were talked about in a negative light if their children appeared on Zoom or if they were caught working from a laptop at the playground while their kids played during the summer. Imagine that for a second. A mother isn&#8217;t skipping work. She&#8217;s literally sitting at the playground doing her job, laptop open, while simultaneously making sure her children have a summer. That was a problem.

One former colleague was frequently working from her laptop while caring for her children. She was pushed out. There may have been fine print and official explanations surrounding her departure, but I was told by very senior people involved that her inability to secure childcare was at the heart of the problem. So much for practicing what you preach.
Then there was maternity leave. When I had my first child, she suffered several health issues during her first three months of life. I was a brand-new mother trying to navigate doctors, sleepless nights, and the overwhelming realization that this tiny human depended entirely on me. And I was contacted about work. Numerous times. On maternity leave. Instead of being allowed to focus entirely on my newborn, I had work stress hanging over me too.
Fast-forward to today, and I&#8217;m writing this with my baby sitting on my lap. I now work at The Daily Wire, and I&#8217;ve never felt more empowered to be a working mother. If I need to step away to feed my baby, nobody interrogates me. If I need to take my kids somewhere or give them some one-on-one time, I can do it. I&#8217;m not made to feel guilty about it. In fact, it&#8217;s encouraged.
And here&#8217;s something that might surprise people: One of my biggest advocates for putting motherhood first isn&#8217;t another mother.
It&#8217;s my direct report. A father. Imagine that. A man who can celebrate the work I do while also celebrating the fact that I&#8217;m a mom. He doesn&#8217;t treat motherhood as an inconvenience he has to work around. He reminds me that it&#8217;s more important than anything happening on a homepage that day.
I&#8217;ve been told numerous times that nothing I do at work will ever be more important than being a mother. And here&#8217;s the funny thing: That mentality doesn&#8217;t make me want to work less. It makes me want to work harder.
I realized that one morning at 2 a.m. I woke up to feed my baby and, like any exhausted mom, planned to get him back to sleep right after, and hopefully get myself back to sleep too. Then I looked at my phone. Senator Lindsey Graham had tragically and unexpectedly died. Suddenly, there was major breaking news to cover. So when the baby finished eating, I didn&#8217;t go back to sleep. I grabbed my laptop and got to work. And strangely enough, I felt blessed.
There I was in the middle of the night, exhausted, with my baby next to me, and I got to be the person awake to cover one of the biggest stories of the day while most Americans were still sleeping. I wasn&#8217;t annoyed that I had to work. I wasn&#8217;t frustrated that I was awake. I felt lucky that being a mom was the reason I happened to be awake when my team needed someone.
Nobody told me to cover breaking news at 2 a.m. I wasn&#8217;t scared of what would happen if I didn&#8217;t. I did it because I wanted to. And that difference means everything.
My colleagues have been a blessing from God, too. I&#8217;m surrounded by mothers whose children are older than mine, women who have already survived the sleepless nights and toddler meltdowns I&#8217;m living through right now. They check in on me. They remind me I&#8217;m not alone. And they make sure I know that when motherhood feels overwhelming, I have women around me who have been there and are ready to listen.
Recently, I had an absolutely brutal night with both of my kids. I woke up exhausted and defeated and happened to see a tweet about postpartum struggles from a coworker. She hadn&#8217;t written it for me. She probably had no idea I needed it. But I did. Her words pulled me up that morning more than she&#8217;ll ever know. I sent her a message to thank her for being so real and told her that what she&#8217;d written was exactly what I needed to get out of bed and keep going that day.
&#8220;If you ever need a mom to chat with give me a call!!&#8221; she told me.
Now that her children are older, she can look back and see what can be nearly impossible to see when you&#8217;re in the trenches with little kids. The sacrifices were worth it. Sometimes that&#8217;s exactly what another mom needs to hear.
And maybe the biggest difference between my two workplaces can be summed up by something as simple as a child wandering into the camera. At my old job, I would panic if my four-year-old made a sound during a Zoom call. I would find myself getting angry with her for being a completely normal four-year-old because I was scared of how my managers would react and did react if it happened. 
Think about how backwards that is.
At The Daily Wire, when my colleague Tim Rice had one of his young children climb onto his lap during a live appearance on &#8220;Wired In,&#8221; nobody freaked out. Host Cabot Phillips celebrated it.
&#8220;We practice what we preach,&#8221; Cabot said. &#8220;At the Daily Wire we love children.&#8221; He called children &#8220;a gift&#8221; and &#8220;a blessing from God.&#8221;
That moment stuck with me. A toddler climbed onto Dad&#8217;s lap while Dad was working, and everyone kept going. Nobody shooed the child away. Nobody acted embarrassed. Nobody treated being a parent like some unprofessional secret that needed to be hidden from the audience. That&#8217;s what being pro-family actually looks like.
Being a working mother shouldn&#8217;t require pretending that you stop being a mother between 9 and 5. Children make noise. Babies need to be fed. School closes. Babysitters cancel. Kids wander into Zoom calls. That&#8217;s life.
A company can put &#8220;family values&#8221; in a mission statement. It can publish a thousand articles about the importance of motherhood. But you learn what an organization actually believes when a baby cries during a meeting.
For years, I thought being a great employee meant making sure nobody could see that I was also a mom. Now I work somewhere that has taught me the exact opposite. I don&#8217;t have to choose. Being given the freedom to put my children first has made me more dedicated to my career than I&#8217;ve ever been.
The Daily Wire gave me my family life back. And in doing so, it made me enjoy working again. Every day I wake up thankful that I get to be part of this mission without sacrificing the most important mission I&#8217;ll ever have: being a mom.

New York Magazine has cut ties with Ross Barkan, the columnist who lifted the opening of a Washington Post story for his hit piece on the Daily Wire, after a three-month editorial review found 67 of his columns failed to properly credit other writers.
The <a href="https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/why-ben-shapiros-media-empire-is-collapsing.html">column</a> that started it all, &#8220;Why Ben Shapiro&#8217;s Media Empire Is Collapsing,&#8221; ran May 14. Within hours, Washington Post reporter Drew Harwell posted a side-by-side comparison showing Barkan&#8217;s lede nearly matched the opening of Harwell&#8217;s own May 9 story on Shapiro and the Daily Wire.

Barkan <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/08/14/media/new-york-mag-fires-mamdani-loving-writer-ross-barkan-for-67-instances-of-ripping-off-other-authors/">told</a> the New York Post the split was mutual. &#8220;We&#8217;ve decided to end the column and I send all the best to New York Magazine,&#8221; he said. He acknowledged the citation errors without addressing the plagiarism allegations directly. &#8220;In the course of nearly 250 pieces, there were times I should have been more careful with my citation. I&#8217;m sorry about these errors and will work to do better, more careful work in the future.&#8221;
When the allegations first surfaced in May, Barkan called them &#8220;all quite ridiculous&#8221; in a <a href="https://www.npr.org/2026/05/17/nx-s1-5824503/new-york-magazine-review-ross-barkan">statement</a> to NPR. The allegations widened days later when NPR correspondent Bobby Allyn ran Barkan&#8217;s archive through an AI model and found further passages closely matching work published in The Intercept and Compact Magazine.

His column regularly featured socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who managed Barkan&#8217;s failed 2018 Democratic primary bid for a South Brooklyn state Senate seat. &#8220;I met him at the end of 2017 when I was running for State Senate in New York City, in Brooklyn, where I grew up. I was strongly contemplating pivoting from journalism to running for office,&#8221; Barkan <a href="https://www.currentaffairs.org/news/ross-barkan-on-zohran-mamdani-arresting-netanyahu-and-where-dsa-goes-from-here">told</a> Current Affairs, a left-wing magazine of politics and culture, in an interview published the day of Mamdani&#8217;s inauguration.
Barkan described the campaign as an ideological project. &#8220;It was a progressive campaign. It was one that was proudly pro-Palestine, certainly — and I was willing to campaign in mosques and court the neighborhood&#8217;s Arab community, which few politicians were willing to do. And so for all those reasons, he hopped on board, and the rest, in its own way, was history. We got to know each other quite well that summer,&#8221; he said. Barkan went on to write a book on Mamdani&#8217;s rise, The Revolutionary: Zohran Mamdani and the Remaking of American Politics, had been scheduled by Random House for October 6.
As of Saturday, the book appears to have been pulled from Random House&#8217;s schedule. Its <a href="https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/826679/the-revolutionary-by-ross-barkan/">page</a> on Penguin Random House&#8217;s website no longer resolves, and listings at Bookshop.org, BookPal and Target have reverted to the placeholder &#8220;Untitled 8221,&#8221; credited to &#8220;Random House Group.&#8221;
Random House did not immediately respond to the Daily Wire&#8217;s request for clarification on the book&#8217;s status.
Barkan is not leaving journalism. He said he is writing a new column for The Nation, which he said will launch in September.

Radical Leftists and radical Muslims have clearly formed an alliance. That alliance is ready to infiltrate the U.S. Senate, and pretty much everybody is afraid to talk about it.

For decades, Hollywood has not made a single major film where the bad guys were Islamists. Villains are always Russian anarchist groups, white supremacists, or North Koreans. 
 
So while Hollywood avoids the fact that radical Islamic terrorists have perpetrated attacks around the world, the Daily Wire is going to lean into it. 
 
The film is called &#8220;Run Hide Fight: Infidels.&#8221; 
 
Starring Jonathan Majors, it’s a 1990s-style action blockbuster — think &#8220;Toy Soldiers&#8221; meets &#8220;Red Dawn&#8221; — where ISIS takes over a liberal American university.

It&#8217;s exciting. It&#8217;s intense. It&#8217;s funny. It&#8217;s the biggest movie we&#8217;ve ever done. The radical jihadists lose, the red-blooded Americans win, and nobody apologizes for any of it. More importantly, it also says the thing: radical Islam is a threat to America, and we are all morons if we let it take over our country. 
 
When we dropped the trailer, Mehdi Hasan said it would be “difficult to come up with a more bigoted, Islamophobic and cliched trailer than this one.” 
 
Mehdi, why is it Islamophobic to point out what ISIS actually does and says? Why is it bigoted to say that ISIS wants to murder Americans? 
How exactly does depicting ISIS implicate all of Islam? 
 
Hasan also took issue with the claim that Hollywood has refused to tell the story of radical Islam, but you could probably count on one hand the number of major movies where Muslims are the villains. 
 
In fact, Hollywood has routinely changed Muslims from being the villains of films. Tom Clancy’s &#8220;The Sum of All Fears&#8221; was written with Palestinian terrorists originally, but in the film adaptation with Ben Affleck, the villains were neo-Nazis. 
 
I&#8217;m also old enough to remember when &#8220;24&#8243; had to deploy Kiefer Sutherland to publicly apologize for Islamophobia because there was one season where the Muslims were the bad guys. 

Meanwhile, streamer Sneako put out a tweet saying, “The kuffar are getting so desperate they&#8217;re trying to do Bush-era propaganda in 2026. No one cares anymore. We all know the Israelis are the real terrorists.”
The root of “kuffar” is also kafir, which means “infidels.” This is the same guy who congratulated Abdulrahman El-Sayed on his primary victory in Michigan with, “Islam will save America. Inshallah.” Sneako doesn’t want you to worry about Islam while he <a href="https://x.com/DrewPavlou/status/2043323509565530153?s=20">chants</a> on the streets of New York about the army of Muhammad returning to kill Jews. 
 
As for the notion that ISIS is simply not a threat anymore: according to the Global Terrorism Index, 20% of all terrorist attacks on planet Earth are attributable to ISIS right now. ISIS remains the chief threat of terrorism worldwide today. 
 
It is good to be able to say that the American people know their enemies. We ought to know what our enemies think, what they say, and what they do. 
 
Director Kyle Rankin’s script definitely does that. 
 
And if the Left is this pissed off at the trailer, just wait until they see the film.

‘Run Hide Fight: Infidels’ Takes On The Enemy Hollywood Won’t Touch

Anticipation is growing for The Daily Wire’s newest project, “Run Hide Fight: Infidels,” as the full-length trailer for the film dropped on Thursday.
The subject matter couldn’t be more timely. A follow up to the hit 2020 action film “Run Hide Fight” — which dealt with a school shooting — takes place on a college campus that has been taken over by violent terrorists in a situation that’s chillingly true to life.

“When radical Islamic terrorists hijack a liberal college’s pro-Palestine encampment to enforce barbaric Sharia law on students and execute infidels in a makeshift caliphate, a ragtag band of red-blooded students, a security guard tired of ‘Uncle Tom’ smears and a Delta Force vet must arm up to save their clueless peers and keep America from surrendering to the enemy on its own soil,” the logline of “Infidels” says.
The full length trailer provides more details about the storyline. In it, Jonathan Majors appears as Captain Clay Saunders, a retired Delta Force soldier who visits a college campus to promote his new book. But the radical Islamic terrorists on campus stage a violent attack &#8211; coopting a hapless group of campus protesters &#8211; to try to stop Saunders from spreading his warning against the rise of Islam in America.
“There are three ways Islam will conquer the West,” Majors says during his campus speech in the trailer clip. “Through immigration, through the wombs of our women, and by using our nation’s freedom against us.”
“What makes them so dangerous? Their goals are not in this life, but the next,” he goes on.
His speech is interspersed with shots of radicals carrying out an attack on the venue. The attendees and Majors are seen fighting back against the terrorists. “Fight back or fall,” the trailer caption says as the heart-pounding drama unfolds.
There’s a shot of an injured pregnant woman, college girls being held hostage by the terrorist ringleader, and bombs being thrown.
But the good guys don’t take any of it lying down. Majors takes charge of the situation, echoing the words of his speech. “We cannot run or hide from what is coming,” he says from the stage. “We have to fight.”
“That’s the American way,” he deadpans while leading the charge against the terrorists.
The film marks a comeback to the industry for Majors. It’s reported to be a return to traditional action-packed storytelling that’s been missing from Hollywood for some time.
Producer Dallas Sonnier revealed a little bit about the inspiration, telling Page Six, “We all worship at the altar of [director] John Milius and Red Dawn. And Eastwood, and all the other wonderful action stars of the ’80s — Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Nobody’s making these types of movies anymore.”
As for the film’s star, Sonnier said, “Majors loved the script, loved shooting the movie, is so great in the film, and he is totally 1,000% behind it.”

The White House came to the defense of WNBA star Sophie Cunningham Thursday after the Indiana Fever guard faced criticism for saying that men should not compete in women’s sports or share women’s locker rooms.
When asked about the issue by Daily Wire White House Correspondent <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/mary-margaret-olohan">Mary Margaret Olohan</a>, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump is aware of Cunningham’s comments and shares her concerns about protecting female athletes.
“I don’t believe he has reached out to her,” Leavitt said when asked whether Trump had contacted Cunningham. “I know he is following the story.”
Leavitt said the backlash against Cunningham demonstrated what she described as a disconnect between leftist activists and the broader American public. 
“This is something the president feels strongly about as well, and the American people do too,” Leavitt said. “That men should not be playing in women’s sports. It’s completely ludicrous that anyone could support that.”
“It’s even more ludicrous that you do have Sophie Cunningham, a female athlete herself, very accomplished in her own right, coming forth and speaking that truth that men shouldn’t play in women’s sports,” she continued.
Leavitt called the criticism Cunningham has received “astonishing” and argued that the administration’s position reflects widespread public opinion.
“They are clearly very out of touch with the American public on this issue, which again is an 80-20 issue,” Leavitt said. “It’s common sense. It’s rooted in basic biological fact that men should not be competing against women on playing fields across the country.”
Cunningham, who has become one of the WNBA’s most recognizable players since joining the Indiana Fever, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/wnba-star-breaks-with-league-on-explosive-issue">said</a> in an interview with ESPN earlier this week that she felt compelled to speak out about biological differences in sports despite backlash from critics who accused her of being anti-transgender. 
“I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I’m like, ‘I never once said that,’” Cunningham said. “I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest.”
Cunningham said her concern was protecting female athletes, particularly young girls. “I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn’t have to go against biological men,” she said.
The comments drew criticism online, with some labeling the Missouri native as a conservative or “MAGA Barbie,” a characterization Cunningham rejected. “I really am right in the middle [politically],” Cunningham said, adding that she agrees and disagrees with positions on both sides of the political spectrum.
Cunningham’s comments come as the WNBA and its players’ union have taken a different position on transgender inclusion. The WNBA Players Association has previously voiced opposition to restrictions on transgender participation in sports and pledged support for transgender athletes.
The Fever guard has also drawn attention in recent weeks for <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/wnba-star-sophie-cunningham-wont-diss-trump-after-white-house-meme">refusing to join criticism</a> of President Trump after the White House used a viral clip of her pointing at an opponent during a game as a social media meme.
When asked about the White House using the clip, Cunningham said she viewed it as part of a broader internet trend. “Everyone around the world is posting it, every company has done it,” Cunningham said. “They’re just the ones also to get on board and I don’t really think twice about it.”

Vice President JD Vance laid out his vision for the future of the Republican Party during a wide-ranging <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQTeDhe63xI">interview</a> with Daily Wire host Michael Knowles released Tuesday, touching on everything from his conversion to Catholicism to artificial intelligence, Iran, and the direction of the conservative movement after President Donald Trump&#8217;s second term.
While much of the conversation focused on Vance&#8217;s new book, Communion, and his journey back to Christianity, it also explored the political philosophy guiding one of the GOP&#8217;s leading figures.
One of the interview&#8217;s biggest takeaways came when Vance declared that today&#8217;s Republican Party has fundamentally moved beyond the economic consensus that defined conservatism for decades.
&#8220;American economic policy on the right is now much more Alexander Hamilton than it is Milton Friedman,&#8221; Vance said, arguing that President Trump&#8217;s political movement has already transformed the GOP&#8217;s approach to trade, tariffs, manufacturing, and industrial policy.
Rather than viewing economic growth as an end in itself, Vance argued that government should prioritize policies that strengthen families, communities, and workers.
&#8220;The economy is a tool to service the dignity of the human person,&#8221; he told Knowles.
Vance also took aim at modern meritocracy, arguing that elite institutions have encouraged Americans to pursue achievement for its own sake instead of focusing on what gives life meaning. He contrasted elite careerism with the importance of family, faith, and community, telling Knowles that &#8220;nobody is on their deathbed&#8221; wishing they had spent less time with their children in exchange for greater wealth.
Knowles also asked Vance about the intellectual influences behind his worldview, prompting discussions of St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, René Girard, Pope Leo XIII, and Catholic social teaching. Vance credited those thinkers with helping shape both his religious conversion and his political outlook.
The vice president also reflected on his own conversion to Catholicism, describing his journey from an unchurched evangelical upbringing through atheism before ultimately finding stability in what he called the Catholic Church&#8217;s continuity across generations and its unchanging doctrine.
Beyond philosophy, Knowles pressed Vance on several major policy issues. Discussing the administration&#8217;s handling of Iran, Vance defended President Trump&#8217;s willingness to use military force while rejecting what he characterized as intervention for its own sake.
&#8220;The president is willing to drop bombs,&#8221; Vance said, &#8220;but only if it serves an objective.&#8221;
On artificial intelligence, Vance argued that America must remain competitive with China while also preventing AI from becoming a tool for social harm. He distinguished between AI used for breakthroughs like curing disease and applications that promote pornography, exploit children, or concentrate power among large technology companies.
Looking ahead to the 2028 election, Vance predicted Democrats would likely nominate Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), arguing that universities, rather than labor unions, have become the Democratic Party&#8217;s true center of power.
Vance laid out the broader ideas informing his vision for the Republican Party: one centered on national development, family, faith, and what he repeatedly described as the dignity of the human person, arguing those principles should guide the GOP beyond Trump&#8217;s second term.

The three-day women’s conference, held June 5–7 in San Antonio, Texas, featured speakers from across the conservative movement, including Brown, Alex Clark, Riley Gaines, Erika Kirk, and Allie Beth Stuckey. Brown spoke on the Left’s attack on motherhood and encouraged young conservative women to have families.

Brown argued that modern culture increasingly devalues motherhood and traditional family formation, while elevating individual fulfillment above sacrifice and service to others.
“Despite calling me out by name repeatedly, the women of The View weren’t really upset about me,” Brown said. “They were threatened by the fundamental truth that the women sitting in this room know and live out every day: that our greatest contributions are bigger than ourselves.”
Brown also encouraged attendees to reject fears surrounding marriage and raising children.
“Have the courage to fall in love, to get married, and to have children, more children than you think you’re ready for, and far more than you think you can afford,” Brown said.
The Daily Wire host also pointed to Mary, the Mother of God, as the ultimate example of feminine virtue and self-sacrifice.
“Her greatest legacy will always be how she raised God incarnate to become a man, in what she gave rather than what she received,” Brown said.
While acknowledging that many women pursue successful careers, Brown said motherhood remains the most important calling for many women and noted that many of the conference&#8217;s speakers balance professional success with raising families.
Brown also reflected on the sacrifices associated with motherhood, arguing that suffering and hardship can draw people closer to God.
“We do live in a world where we experience pain, discomfort and suffering, but the beauty of suffering is that it uniquely links our experience to that of God, who enduring the ultimate hardship and pain to the point of death for the redemption of all of us,” Brown said.

The summit also featured remarks from TPUSA CEO Erika Kirk, who reflected on the mission of the organization founded by her late husband, Charlie Kirk.
“He saw a generation drifting away from faith, away from a sense of purpose, and he wanted to cultivate a space for community, a space that was so needed, especially on college campuses,” Erika Kirk said of her husband. 
At one point during her speech, a heckler attempted to interrupt Kirk, but was removed from the venue.
“It’s important to remember that happiness comes and goes, and I pray that you find it,” Kirk told the heckler as the woman was removed.
After the audience applauded, Kirk urged attendees to pray for their opponents rather than view them as enemies.
“You pray for your enemies. You pray for those that persecute you,” Kirk said. “That’s not the enemy. We know who the real enemy is.”

Ross Barkan, the reporter who wrote a hit piece on The Daily Wire and then came under investigation for plagiarism, hired Zohran Mamdani to manage his failed state Senate campaign in 2018.
The left-wing writer appears torn between journalism and political activism, drawing ideological inspiration from democratic socialist Mayor Mamdani.

Barkan, who unsuccessfully ran for a New York state office in 2018, highlighted the influence Mamdani had as his campaign manager.
“It was a progressive campaign. Despite receiving the endorsement of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Barkan <a href="https://ballotpedia.org/Ross_Barkan">lost the September 13th Democratic primary</a> by double digits. 
New York Magazine is investigating writer Barkan for plagiarism after he seemingly copied his lede paragraph from another publication, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ross-barkan-new-york-magazine-npr-plagiarism-investigation?author=The+Daily+Wire&amp;category=undefined&amp;elementPosition=161&amp;row=3&amp;rowHeadline=Latest+News&amp;rowType=Vertical+Carousel&amp;title=Reporter+Behind+Anti-Daily+Wire+Hit+Piece+Now+Facing+Plagiarism+Investigation">The Daily Wire previously reported.</a> 
Following publication of the story, Drew Harwell took to social media to complain that Barkan’s lede was strikingly similar to one he had written days earlier.
Following the backlash, New York Magazine updated Barkan’s story to credit Drew Harwell, a move that appeared to concede the overlap. NPR later reported at least two other cases in which Barkan allegedly stole paragraphs from The Intercept and Compact Magazine.
New York Magazine spokesperson Lauren Starke <a href="https://www.npr.org/2026/05/17/nx-s1-5824503/new-york-magazine-review-ross-barkan">told NPR</a> that the magazine is “conducting a review of the writer’s prior work.”
Instead of disputing the plagiarism accusations, Barkan argued online that attribution justified his use of others’ material.
“I am allowed, as a columnist building on *his* reporting, to cite facts. Especially when he’s credited,” Barkan said of the Compact Magazine incident.
“I have written hundreds upon hundreds of columns, essays, and pieces of journalism in my career. I stand by my record,” he said in a statement to NPR, adding that this is “all quite ridiculous.”
