<p>President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/volodymyr-zelensky" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Volodymyr Zelensky</a> must have an inkling that his unlimited check could soon be running out because the Ukrainian president is trying out a new sales pitch to world leaders: We need to defeat Russia, or evil dictators will &#8220;weaponize&#8221; the damaging effects of climate change.</p>
<p>Zelensky made his case in the form of a lecture on Tuesday at the United Nations General Assembly.</p>
<p>“Even though humanity is failing on its climate policy objectives, this means that extreme weather will still impact normal global life and some evil state will also weaponize its outcomes,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And when people in the streets of New York and other cities of the world went out on climate protest — we all have seen them — and when people in Morocco and Libya, and other countries die as a result of natural disasters, and when islands and countries disappear underwater, and when tornadoes and deserts are spreading into — into new territories, and when all of this is happening, one, a natural disaster in Moscow, decided to launch a big war and killed tens of thousands of people. We have to stop it.&#8221;</p>
<p>So it seems Zelensky is implying that Russian President Vladimir Putin took advantage of climate change — <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/global-warming-is-out-global-boiling-is-in-united-nations-secretary-general-says" target="_blank" rel="noopener">global boiling as the U.N. calls it</a> — to attack Ukraine.</p>
<p>&#8220;We must act, united to defeat the aggressor and focus all our capabilities and energy on addressing these challenges,&#8221; he added. &#8220;As nukes are restrained, likewise, the aggressor must be restrained at all his tools and methods of the war.&#8221;</p>

<p>Zelensky must have heard President Joe Biden&#8217;s climate czar John Kerry preach last spring that &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/at-davos-john-kerry-praises-select-group-of-people-for-saving-the-planet-but-says-they-need-money-money-money" target="_blank" rel="noopener">money, money, money</a>&#8221; is what makes green energy move. It&#8217;s smart financially for Zelensky to signal that he&#8217;s down with the cause.</p>
<p>If he wants the free world to continue sending him billions of dollars to defeat Russia, he knows he has to express certain 21st-century doctrines of the West — such as believing in climate change.</p>
