President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> announced another $2.5 billion in military aid for <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ukraine" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ukraine</a> on Monday as he continues ramping up financial support for the country in the final days of his presidency before President-elect Donald Trump is sworn in for his second term. 
The assistance includes a $1.25 billion military aid package from the Defense Department and a $1.22 billion Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative. 
&#8220;Since Russia launched its further assault against Ukraine in February 2022, the United States has rallied the world to stand with the Ukrainian people, and it has been a top priority of mine to provide Ukraine with the support it needs to prevail,&#8221; Biden said in a statement.
&#8220;I’ve directed my Administration to continue surging as much assistance to Ukraine as quickly as possible—including drawing down older U.S. equipment for Ukraine, rapidly delivering it to the battlefield, and then revitalizing the U.S. defense industrial base to modernize and replenish our stockpiles with new weapons,&#8221; Biden added.
The military aid includes air defense munitions, artillery ammunition, Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems munitions, ammunition for rocket systems, air-to-ground munitions, missiles, communications equipment, and demolition equipment.
“This support is crucial to stabilizing the front lines—every additional supply from our partners means more saved lives of our soldiers,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky <a href="https://x.com/ZelenskyyUa/status/1873454861645197577" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> on Sunday, anticipating the aid. “We are also working to ensure that other partners maintain their support at the necessary level.”
Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/biden-administration-announces-another-725-million-in-ukraine-military-aid" target="_blank" rel="noopener">announced</a> an additional $725 million in military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine earlier this month and another $275 million last month. Under Biden, the U.S. has committed more than $183 billion to Ukraine. 
The Treasury Department also announced Monday that it would be given Ukraine $3.4 billion in direct budget support for &#8220;maintaining the critical government services.&#8221;
Trump has promised to wind down the war in Ukraine and negotiate a quick peace settlement. Earlier this month, he met with Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, where they spoke about bringing the war to a close. 
“He wants to make peace,” Trump <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/12/08/us-news/trump-says-zelensky-is-ready-for-peace-as-he-dishes-to-post-on-meetings-with-world-leaders-and-jill-biden/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> the New York Post about his conversation with Zelensky. “That’s new.”
“He wants to have a cease-fire,” he added. “He wants to make peace. We didn’t talk about the details. He thinks it’s time, and Putin should think it’s time because he’s lost — when you lose 700,000 people, it’s time.”
Trump has also been critical of Biden&#8217;s recent policy changes, such as allowing Ukraine to launch long-range American-supplied missiles into Russia. He described Biden&#8217;s decision as a &#8220;very stupid thing&#8221; to do.
Trump has maintained that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine had he been president, blaming the Biden administration for the costly war.

President-elect <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> met with key leaders in Europe over the weekend as President Joe Biden stayed away because of a “scheduling conflict” with the reopening of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.
Trump traveled to Paris for Notre Dame’s official reopening ceremony after the medieval cathedral was severely damaged in a fire in 2019. The celebration marked Trump’s return to the world stage since winning his reelection.
French President Emmanuel Macron welcomed Trump to the Élysée Palace on Saturday, where the French leader hosted a meeting between Macron, Trump, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Trump addressed reporters in Paris, touting his relationship with the French president during Trump’s first term in office.
“We had a lot of really great success working together on defense and offense, too,” Trump said, according to the <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/foreign-policy/3253391/trump-overshadows-biden-final-month-with-france-trip/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Washington Examiner</a>. “It certainly seems like the world is going a little bit crazy right now, and we’ll be talking about that.”
Macron promoted the trilateral meeting with Trump and Zelensky on social media.

Zelensky described the meeting as “good and productive” in a post on X. Ukraine’s war against Russia was the most pressing matter of the meeting.
“We all want this war to end as soon as possible and in a just way. We spoke about our people, the situation on the ground, and a just peace,” Zelensky posted. “We agreed to continue working together and keep in contact. Peace through strength is possible.”

The reopening ceremony for the cathedral attracted dozens of world leaders, according to the <a href="https://www.ft.com/content/39064f4e-35ab-4d72-8dcd-be3b4d812b09" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Financial Times</a>. Ukraine President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/volodymyr-zelensky" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Volodymyr Zelensky</a> signaled on Friday that he is shifting his position on his country&#8217;s war against Russia.
Zelensky is now reportedly willing to concede territory to Russia to bring an end to the war that was started in 2022 when Russian forces invaded.
&#8220;If we want to stop the hot phase of the war, we need to take under the NATO umbrella the territory of Ukraine that we have under our control,&#8221; Zelensky <a href="https://news.sky.com/story/zelenskyy-suggests-hes-prepared-to-end-ukraine-war-in-return-for-nato-membership-even-if-russia-doesnt-immediately-return-seized-land-13263085" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in an interview with Sky News.
&#8220;We need to do it fast,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;And then on the [occupied] territory of Ukraine, Ukraine can get them back in a diplomatic way.&#8221;
The Telegraph <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/news/zelensky-says-willing-cede-ukrainian-193636628.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> that Zelensky&#8217;s new remarks represented &#8220;a considerable shift in his position&#8221; after he previously indicated that Ukraine would fight Russia until the country regained complete control of all of its internationally recognized borders.
Zelensky said that he wants to work directly with President-elect Donald Trump, who has promised to bring a quick end to the war, but has declined to divulge details on how he will do it.

&#8220;I want to work with him directly because there are different voices from people around him. I want to share with him ideas and I want to hear from him.&#8221;
He said that the two had a &#8220;very warm, good, constructive&#8221; conversation when they talked in September, adding that it was &#8220;an important first step.&#8221;
Zelensky&#8217;s remarks come after Trump appointed Army Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg to serve as his Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia.
Kellogg <a href="https://americafirstpolicy.com/issues/america-first-russia-ukraine" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> in a policy paper at the America First Policy Institute that Russia’s war in Ukraine was “an avoidable crisis that, due to the Biden Administration’s incompetent policies and rejection of the America First approach to national security, has entangled America in an endless war.”
He said the administration’s “risk-averse pattern in the armament of Ukraine coupled with a failure in diplomacy with Russia has prolonged the war in Ukraine, which now finds itself in a war of attrition with Russia.”
He wrote that the U.S. plans to seek “a cease-fire and negotiated settlement” to bring the war in Ukraine to an end.
“The United States would continue to arm Ukraine and strengthen its defenses to ensure Russia will make no further advances and will not attack again after a cease-fire or peace agreement,” he said. “Future American military aid, however, will require Ukraine to participate in peace talks with Russia.”

Trump has promised to end the bloodbath in Ukraine if he becomes president. Comer began his letter by alluding to the 2019 impeachment of former President Donald Trump that claimed he used Zelensky to benefit his 2020 presidential campaign, a claim Comer dismissed as lacking “any evidence of wrongdoing on the part of President Trump.”

“President Zelensky&#8217;s itinerary included a stop in Pennsylvania to meet with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, until recently considered a promising candidate to further Democrats&#8217; hopes to maintain control of the White House,” he noted.
Comer made reference to a September 22, 2024, <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-new-yorker-interview/volodymyr-zelensky-has-a-plan-for-ukraines-victory">interview</a> published in The New Yorker in which Zelensky “stated his belief that President Trump and his administration would not be able to stop the war, despite this being one of President Trump’s main campaign platforms.”
“This rhetoric coming from a foreign leader released in anticipation of a U.S.-taxpayer-funded visit about the current administration’s political opponent is highly concerning,” Comer stated. “The Committee is investigating any coordination or communication among the Biden-Harris administration, Pennsylvania’s Office of the Governor, and President Zelensky for us or solicitation of use of government property to politically benefit Vice President Harris’s presidential campaign.”

President Joe Biden announced on Thursday that the U.S. will provide Ukraine with an additional $8 billion in military assistance as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky meets with U.S. leaders.
The new round of military aid for Ukraine will include a shipment of medium-range precision-guided glide bombs that will allow Ukrainian forces to fire upon Russian soldiers from safer distances, Reuters <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/biden-announces-8-billion-military-aid-ukraine-2024-09-26/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. A U.S. official said that the president would not be giving Ukraine the green light to fire missiles at targets deep inside Russia.
The Biden administration&#8217;s announcement came shortly after some conservatives <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cruz-blasts-arrogant-zelensky-for-trying-to-interfere-in-u-s-election-remarkably-foolish">accused</a> Zelensky of interfering in the upcoming presidential election. Earlier this week, Zelensky criticized former President Donald Trump&#8217;s running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), and appeared with Pennsylvania Democratic Gov. The latest U.S. assistance package for Ukraine will provide more training for Ukrainian pilots flying American-made F-16s. Biden also said that the $8 billion assistance would give Ukraine another Patriot air defense battery and more Patriot missiles, according to Reuters.
Zelensky thanked the U.S. for the new package, saying it would be used &#8220;in the most efficient and transparent manner.&#8221;
The U.S. continues to be Ukraine&#8217;s largest supporter, far outpacing all other countries in military assistance. From just before the war began through June of this year, the U.S. has committed more than $50 billion in military support for Ukraine, <a href="https://www.ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-against-ukraine/ukraine-support-tracker/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. Germany, which has offered the second-largest amount of military support for Ukraine, has committed just over $10 billion in aid over the same period.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this week after Zelensky was accused of interfering in U.S. elections to the benefit of the Democrat Party by touring an ammunition plant in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.
Johnson pointed the finger at Zelensky&#8217;s ambassador to the United States, who is said to have organized the trip.
&#8220;I demand that you immediately fire Ukraine&#8217;s Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova,&#8221; Johnson said in a letter to Zelensky.
&#8220;As you have said, Ukrainians have tried to avoid being &#8216;captured by American domestic politics,&#8217; and &#8216;influencing the choices of the American people&#8217; ahead of the November election,&#8221; Johnson said. &#8220;Clearly that objective was abandoned this week when Ambassador Markarova organized an event in which you toured an American manufacturing site.&#8221;

Despite all of the media&#8217;s attempts to pretend the presidential race is a blowout for Kamala Harris, there is zero evidence that is the case.
And something happened this week that shows there’s no blowout happening.
On Tuesday, Politico published <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2024/09/22/harris-trump-polls-debate-00180405">a piece</a> suggesting Harris didn&#8217;t get any sort of bounce out of the much-ballyhooed debate with Donald Trump. On Monday, CNN&#8217;s Harry Enten pointed out a <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/09/23/us/politics/times-siena-polls-arizona-georgia-north-carolina.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York Times/Siena College poll</a> showing Trump winning in North Carolina, Arizona, and Georgia and Harris lagging in terms of support from black and Hispanic voters, which would be a disaster for her.
There are a couple unspoken problems for the Harris campaign. Since 2012, the Democratic electoral matrix has been built to drive out minority votes and then count on suburban white ladies to bring the Democratic candidate over the finish line. Harris is trying to do that, but she&#8217;s trying to do so without mentioning her race.
It is obvious as to her reasoning why. She doesn&#8217;t want to lose Joe Biden&#8217;s blue-collar base. Biden had some blue-collar white voters in 2020 that Hillary Clinton did not have in 2016. So Harris is trying to retain that base, but she&#8217;s overwhelmingly bleeding there.
Every single swing state shows that Harris is trailing Trump by 10 to 20 points among the Teamsters. That means there is a quiet male rebellion against the Harris candidacy.
Many men are observing Harris&#8217; campaign and the way she has degraded men into beta males like Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff, subservient men.
And they don&#8217;t like it.
There are a lot of men publicly saying they are undecided in this election — but have actually decided they&#8217;re voting in favor of Trump.
So, I don&#8217;t think polls that show Harris winning women by a huge margin and Trump only winning men by a sort of mid-margin are accurate.

This election is going to come down, once again, to the blue states. It&#8217;s going to be about Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Michigan is her best state. Wisconsin is her second-best state. And Pennsylvania is basically a dead heat at this point.
In Pennsylvania on Monday, the most egregiously offensive incident I&#8217;ve ever seen in a campaign took place, an unprecedented event in the history of American politics. A shocking story.
According to the <a href="https://www.military.com/daily-news/2024/09/23/ukraines-zelenskyy-visits-pennsylvania-ammunition-plant-thank-workers-and-ask-more.html">Associated Press</a>:
<blockquote>Under tight security, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday visited a Pennsylvania ammunition factory to thank the workers who are producing one of the most critically needed munitions for his country’s fight to fend off Russian ground forces.
Rep. Matt Cartwright, a Democrat who was among those who met with Zelenskyy at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant, said the president had a simple message: “Thank you. And we need more.”</blockquote>
Zelenskyy was scheduled to speak at the U.N. General Assembly annual gathering in New York on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then go to Washington, D.C. to hang out with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
Instead, the Biden administration flew him to Pennsylvania. They sent a United States C-17 to pick him up and fly him to Pennsylvania.
It seems like there&#8217;s something going on in Pennsylvania. What could it be? Could it be that it&#8217;s the most important state in a swing-state election? That if Pennsylvania goes Democrat, Harris wins; and if Pennsylvania goes Republican, Trump wins?
I have never seen anything like this. Talk about foreign election interference. In 2016, Democrats claimed the Russians were intervening on behalf of Trump. Their evidence included that the Russians had some cutouts and were trying to retail information to the Trump campaign, information that never materialized and was never used. Then, they proclaimed, “Oh, it was the Russians on Facebook. The Russians on Facebook!”
They put up all sorts of memes. And it turned out that the amount of engagement earned by the Russians on Facebook was less than my own personal Facebook page during that election cycle earned in one month during the entirety of the election. So it was not the Russians interfering.
But this? This is foreign election interference on its face. This is insane. Flying in a foreign leader to campaign in a battleground state is unheard of.
Furthermore, I don&#8217;t know why it&#8217;s a good move for Zelenskyy. Any foreign leader has to maintain the patina of attempting to reach out to both sides of the aisle. It is a foolhardy endeavor to attempt to cultivate only one side of the aisle.
He went to an arms munitions factory in a swing state and got a tour from Pennsylvania Democrat governor Josh Shapiro.
This is not how foreign policy is actually done in the United States, by having the administration fly in a foreign leader to go do your rabble-rousing for you in a swing state. 
Now it’s clear why Harris randomly name-checked Polish Americans in Pennsylvania during her debate with Trump. <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/polish-american-voters-seen-key-winning-both-harris-trump-rcna171685" target="_blank" rel="noopener">She said</a> to Trump, “Why don&#8217;t you tell the 800,000 Polish Americans right here in Pennsylvania how quickly you would give up for the sake of favor and what you think is a friendship with what is known to be a dictator who would eat you for lunch.”
I had never seen such a specific political callout in the middle of a debate. She specifically called out the Polish Americans in an attempt to say that they had to be in favor of her because Trump was not sufficiently in favor of the Ukraine war.
So we know what she&#8217;s doing right now. She&#8217;s bringing in Zelenskyy to campaign for the votes of Eastern Europeans who have historically lived under the thumb of the Russians.

Not only that, Zelenskyy did an interview with the New Yorker in which he specifically called out the Trump-Vance ticket. When Zelensky was asked about Trump&#8217;s statements regarding Ukraine, he <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-new-yorker-interview/volodymyr-zelensky-has-a-plan-for-ukraines-victory">said</a>, “My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how. With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it the less you understand. I’ve seen many leaders who were convinced they knew how to end it tomorrow, and as they waded deeper into it, they realized it’s not that simple.”
Then, he specifically said that JD Vance is “too radical.”
It&#8217;s a particularly weird move for Zelensky because he&#8217;s going to need Republican support if he wants more arms flowing his way.
Regardless, shipping Zelenskyy to Pennsylvania shows the desperation of the Biden-Harris campaign.
It shows that they think the whole election is going to come down to Pennsylvania. They want the Polish-American vote, which is likely to go for Trump. Historically, Polish Americans in Pennsylvania have been blue-collar workers who are in industries like fracking. They tend to be Catholic, which means culturally conservative.
So Harris is trying to make inroads by using Ukraine as the lever.

Josh Shapiro (D) greeted him on the tarmac, according to a video he <a href="https://x.com/ZelenskyyUa/status/1838100426631053786">posted</a> on X. He also <a href="https://x.com/ZelenskyyUa/status/1838104906105852108">met</a> with Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), and Congressman Matt Cartwright (D-PA).
&#8220;I visited a plant that manufactures 155 mm artillery shells,&#8221; Zelensky wrote on social media. &#8220;Now, for our warriors who are defending not only our country, not only Ukraine, the plant will be ramping up production. I began my visit to the United States by expressing my gratitude to all the employees at the plant and by reaching agreements to expand cooperation between Pennsylvania and our Zaporizhzhia.&#8221;
&#8220;It is in places like this where you can truly feel that the democratic world can prevail,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Thanks to people like these—in Ukraine, in America, and in all partner countries—who work tirelessly to ensure that life is protected.&#8221;
Some accused Zelensky of interfering in the U.S. presidential election with his remarks about Vance and his subsequent event with Democrats in Pennsylvania — a state that will likely help decide the next president.
&#8220;Election interference,&#8221; said Washington Examiner Chief Political Correspondent Byron York. &#8220;Now visiting a key swing state.&#8221;
Palantir CEO co-founder Joe Lonsdale posted on X: &#8220;Team Kamala is so concerned about Pennsylvania, they’re using military assets to fly in Zelensky to campaign!&#8221;
&#8220;They’re implying their war creates jobs, and are forcing Z to attack Trump &amp; Vance,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Literally funding a foreign leader and using the military to bring him to campaign with them in a battleground state. PA voters aren’t dumb, this will backfire hard on the leftist Borg.&#8221;
In The New Yorker, Zelensky said that any American leader who pushes for peace by giving into aggressors &#8220;should be held responsible for potentially starting a global war.&#8221;
&#8220;Because such a person would be implying that this kind of behavior is acceptable,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I don’t take Vance’s words seriously, because, if this were a plan, then America is headed for global conflict. It will involve Israel, Lebanon, Iran, Taiwan, China, as well as many African countries. That approach would broadcast to the world the following implicit rule: I came, I conquered, now this is mine. It will apply everywhere: land claims and mineral rights and borders between nations.&#8221;
Zelensky said in that type of world the governing philosophy will be &#8220;might is right&#8221; and there will be a &#8220;global showdown.&#8221;
&#8220;Let Mr. Vance read up on the history of the Second World War, when a country was forced to give part of its territory to one particular person,&#8221; Zelensky continued. &#8220;What did that man do? Was he appeased or did he deal a devastating blow to the continent of Europe—to many nations, broadly, and to the Jewish nation in particular? Let him do some reading. The Jewish people are a strong power base in the United States, so let them conduct a public-education campaign and explain why millions perished thanks to the fact that someone offered to give up a sliver of territory.&#8221;

Zelensky Accused Of ‘Election Interference’ In Swing State Of Pennsylvania

After the reported second attempted assassination of former President Trump on Sunday, most of the world’s leaders remained silent, but three spoke out and mentioned Trump’s name: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Referring to his wife Sara, Netanyahu, whose close relationship with the most supportive American president Israel has ever known was clear during Trump’s tenure, stated on X, “Sara and I were shocked by the second assassination attempt against President Trump and were relieved to hear that it too failed. But we should not rely on luck. We send our best wishes to Donald and Melania along with our hopes that all measures will be taken to ensure that such deadly attacks on a candidate for the US presidency will be foiled in advance.”
