<p>&#8220;Full House&#8221; star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/candace-cameron-bure" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Candace Cameron Bure</a> thanked God for taking her out of acting for ten years and said during that time off she&#8217;s realized he wanted her to become &#8220;a disciple for&#8221; him.</p>
<p>During Spotify&#8217;s &#8220;<a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/7nob0mNlzLE48FSRvSeEiA?si=PVEFWsdWSh2OsE6jp1SOig" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast</a>&#8221; this week, the 47-year-old actress spoke to her guest, author Heather McFayden, about balancing one&#8217;s life and how faith has become integral to every aspect of the star&#8217;s world. The discussion starts at the 17:40 minute mark.</p>
<p>Bure said when her career started she didn&#8217;t have a focus on God and believes he took her out of the business for a decade to change her priorities and worldview, which she said has become a &#8220;biblical&#8221; one.</p>
<p>&#8220;Being a Christian was just a compartment of my life,&#8221; the actress said. &#8220;And during that season of motherhood, which I focused on my relationship with God, I then actually started walking the walk.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;And I think about the ten years that I thought I was going to continue working, and yet God was like &#8216;nope, I&#8217;m going to take you out for ten years because I&#8217;m going to build your character. I&#8217;m going to build your worldview,'&#8221; she added. &#8220;Which has become a biblical worldview.&#8221;</p>

<p>The &#8220;Fuller House&#8221; star said God changed her priorities and said &#8220;&#8216;if I allow you, if I have you go back into the business, you&#8217;re going to come in with new eyes.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;&#8216;It&#8217;s not just going to be about being on another television show or being an actress,'&#8221; she added of his message. &#8220;&#8216;It&#8217;s not about winning an award. It&#8217;s not about getting the job. You&#8217;re gonna be a disciple of me for me in whatever job you have in that industry.'&#8221;</p>
<p>The &#8220;Christmas Under Wraps&#8221; star said at the time it was really difficult being out of the business for so long, but said now she&#8217;s glad God took her out to teach her.</p>
