Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin, caused an uproar on Tuesday after posting photos of her stripper-themed baby shower to Instagram.
The event took place in California at Jumbo’s Clown Room, an East Hollywood adult entertainment club. The 27-year-old model and actress boasted about the event by sharing a carousel of photos that highlighted the raunchy entertainment.
“Way too many of these to post but it’ll have to come in parts,” Baldwin wrote in the caption. “My friends and family threw us a very traditional baby shower as you can see. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was showered… in booty.”

She went on to thank the strip club for “making dreams come true” and being “so kind.” In a follow-up, the soon-to-be first-time mom wrote, “baby’s first strip club extravaganza.”
Photos included shots of Baldwin wearing revealing black lingerie and sporting a pink wig reminiscent of Natalie Portman’s stripper character in the movie “Closer.” The celeb can be seen hugging her mom, Kim Basinger, while covered in dollar bills.
Other images show stripper performers performing lap dances for the guests and dancing around poles while wearing fake pregnant bellies. There’s also a photo of a pink-frosted cake that says, “Baby’s first strip club” and personalized napkins featuring the baby’s sonogram.
Baldwin’s followers weren’t all on board for the explicit display.

“Hollywood is a strange place,” one person observed.
“What has become of this generation?? God help them please!!” another commenter wrote.
“Its crazy we have to say stop sexualizing children and now we even have to say stop sexualizing the preborn,” another account shared.
“There is something so wrong and messed up with us. What world do we live in?” another chimed in.
Along with many negative comments, some followers applauded the surprising baby shower theme. “Wow, normally baby showers are such a bore, this one, and the other hand looks like the best baby shower ever,” one account said.
Baldwin announced she was pregnant on December 31, 2022, by sharing a sonogram photo on Instagram. The child’s father is her musician boyfriend, André Allen Anjos, known professionally as RAC.
In January, the model acknowledged that pregnancy was more challenging than expected. “I am grateful but I am struggling,” Baldwin said at the time. “Pregnancy is hard. It takes so much out of you. I wasn’t ready for that.”
“It’s hard moving somewhere with no family. It’s hard not being really close to family to begin with because they live far or are idiots that I want nothing to do with,” she continued. “I know everyone has an entirely different experience and mine is easy compared to most, but f*** it’s a struggle.”
