As the Opioid epidemic continues to ravage the United States, scientists and lawmakers are taking a novel – and controversial – approach to combating the crisis: psychedelics. Now military veterans and advocates say that one psychoactive substance in particular, Ibogaine, offers a potential medicinal breakthrough that could save lives.
