Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) slammed ABC News host Martha Raddatz during an interview over the weekend for down playing the seriousness of illegal alien crime in the U.S.
The exchange happened Sunday on the network&#8217;s &#8220;This Week&#8221; show when Raddatz suggested that it was not a big deal that a &#8220;a handful of apartment complexes&#8221; were taken over by criminal illegal alien gangs from Venezuela.
&#8220;Senator Vance, I’m going to stop you because I know exactly what happened,&#8221; Raddatz claimed. &#8220;I’m going to stop you. The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns. A handful of problems.&#8221;
Vance fired back: &#8220;Martha, do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem, and not Kamala Harris&#8217;s open border?&#8221;
&#8220;Americans are so fed up with what&#8217;s going on and they have every right to be and I really find this exchange, Martha, sort of interesting because you seem to be more focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs,&#8221; he continued.
Vance said that he worries more about the crime in the U.S. than any other issue facing the country and that making the country safe again was a top priority.
&#8220;And unfortunately, when you let people in by the millions, most of whom are unvetted, most of whom you don&#8217;t know who they really are, you&#8217;re going to have problems like this,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Kamala Harris’ 94 executive orders that undid Donald Trump&#8217;s successful border policies, we knew this stuff would happen.&#8221;
Vance later reacted to the segment with a post on X: &#8220;When your town is overrun with violent criminal gangs, Kamala Harris and her friends will say, &#8220;well, it&#8217;s only a handful of apartment complexes&#8221; that have been overrun by illegal gangs.&#8221;
&#8220;The only acceptable number of American apartments overrun by criminal gangs is zero,&#8221; he said.

Former Secretary of State <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/condoleezza-rice" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Condoleezza Rice</a> said in an interview this week that it was critical for the U.S. to not adopt isolationist policies because doing so will only work against the country.
Rice made the remarks during an interview on PBS&#8217; &#8220;Firing Line&#8221; with host Margaret Hoover while discussing a recent essay that she wrote.
&#8220;I wanted to say to the American public that I understand the sense we’re all tired. We’ve been through a lot,&#8221; she said as she highlighted what the U.S. has been through on the foreign policy front for the last several decades.
&#8220;But there isn’t really an option but for the United States to take on its role and responsibility as a dominant power that wishes to shape the international system,&#8221; she said. 
&#8220;You see, there’s this notion that if we leave the playing field, it’ll be okay. But in fact, great powers don’t mind their own business,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;And the great powers that would supplant American power are not ones that share our values, will not uphold our interests: China, Russia.&#8221;
&#8220;And so I just wanted to say to the American people, we have to get up and go back to bat because too much is at stake for the United States to turn its back on the international system,&#8221; Rice added.

Left-wing commentator <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ana-kasparian" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ana Kasparian</a> revealed this week that she abandoned the Democratic Party after she revealed that she was sexually assaulted by a homeless man and was subsequently harshly criticized for publicly disclosing the attack.
The co-host of “The Young Turks” made the revelation on Jillian Michaels’ “Keeping It Real” podcast while discussing feeling “politically homeless” in recent years.
&#8220;In 2022, it was around March, I was walking my dog,&#8221; she began. &#8220;It was not quite dark yet, but the sun was setting. As I&#8217;m walking my dog, I see these two guys that were, they were just kind of like moving around weirdly, they seemed kind of manic, and their clothes were tattered. So I just I knew that they were probably homeless, and I also knew that they&#8217;re probably on something.&#8221;
She said that she didn&#8217;t think anything of it because she has been around the homeless before and has never had issues.
&#8220;But as I was bending down to pick up my dog&#8217;s mess, one of the guys, like, grabs me by my hips and he had an erection, and just starts, like, humping me and I didn&#8217;t know what to do,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I was terrified. I didn&#8217;t have a weapon on me, like I had no way of defending myself. I didn&#8217;t know how far it was gonna go, because it&#8217;s two guys.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m by myself with my little dog. It was like one of the most terrifying things ever, because I&#8217;m pretty good at defending myself,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;In that moment, I just knew there was no option. And luckily, he stopped, and they just laughed at me and walked away as they were laughing at me.&#8221;
She said that she was filled with feelings of fear, humiliation, and shame and that the attack left her struggling with mental health issues and being afraid to go outside.
&#8220;So, I opened up about this on the show, not really thinking much of it, and before I know it, I&#8217;m starting to get these messages, and it&#8217;s like really, really harsh stuff,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And it&#8217;s about, how you are painting a picture of the homeless community. You know, how could you be like this? You know, these are your unhoused neighbors, and they need help.&#8221;
&#8220;A few people accused me of being racist when I had never disclosed the race of the individuals who did this to me, and in fact, they were white,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And so like, when they started accusing me of being racist, I&#8217;m like, wait a minute, why are you assuming that the people who did this? Of course, yeah, like, I think you might have a problem here. Exactly. Yeah. That woke me up. That woke me up. That woke me up.&#8221;
She said that she realized all these people whom she&#8217;s associated with and believed to be good people have racist stereotypes in their minds about minorities.
“At some point last year, the other thing that really hit me was the difference between my upbringing and what the Democratic Party espouses,” Kasparian said.
She said that Democrats &#8220;constantly disempower people of color&#8221; with &#8220;messaging that infantilizes them and makes them seem as though, you know, if it weren’t for us white saviors messing around with these laws and policies, they would never be able to survive.&#8221;

Minnesota Governor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tim-walz" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tim Walz</a> said during an interview this week that voters do not need to worry themselves about what the difference is in terms of policy between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Walz made the remarks during an interview Friday with WPVI anchor Brian Taff when asked what the key differences would be between the two.
&#8220;The difference between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden is not what [voters] need to be concerned with,&#8221; Walz said. &#8220;They need to be concerned with a Donald Trump who has said he would be a dictator on day one.&#8221;

Walz&#8217;s remarks come as Harris has repeatedly struggled to come up with any differences between her and Biden because doing so would effectively be an admission that something the administration is currently doing is failing.
“There is not a thing that comes to mind,” said during an interview on &#8220;The View.&#8221;
During a subsequent interview on CBS with Stephen Colbert, Harris said: “I’m obviously not Joe Biden. So that would be one change … but also, I think it’s important to say, with 28 days to go, I’m not Donald Trump.”

Former <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/cbs-news" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CBS News</a> staffers are calling for the network to launch an independent investigation into &#8220;60 Minutes&#8221; after the left-wing news program deceptively edited remarks made by Vice President Kamala Harris in an interview.
“I think there should be an outside investigation,” one former CBS News journalist told the New York Post this week. “Obviously, there’s a problem here. If they care about journalistic integrity, they would conduct an investigation or release the full transcript.”
They said the fact that Harris&#8217; two responses to the same question were &#8220;so different&#8221; made it imperative that the network be transparent and release the entire interview.
A source inside the organization told the newspaper that the way it edited Harris&#8217; response was &#8220;biased.&#8221;
“Their credibility has been called into question and their impartiality has been called into question,” the source said. “Don’t you need a full-throated review of what went wrong?”
&#8220;The stakes are too high,&#8221; they added. &#8220;It’s a presidential election. Trump is asking for the transcript and journalists are asking for answers.&#8221;
The controversy happened when host Bill Whitaker was discussing with Harris the United States’ financial support for Israel in its war against genocidal Islamic terrorists in the region.
“But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening,” Whitaker said to Harris.
In a promotional clip that was posted by CBS News on Sunday, Harris responded to that statement from Whitaker by saying: “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”
However, when the full interview was published by the network on Monday night, that statement from Harris was nowhere to be found. Those words were not included anywhere in the television broadcast, nor did they appear in the interview when it was posted on YouTube, the interview’s transcript, or the show’s “Overtime” segment.
Instead, on television and in the interview posted online, Whitaker’s identical statement that “it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening” is followed by Harris saying: “We are not gonna stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.”

Woke activist author <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ta-nehisi-coates" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ta-Nehisi Coates</a> faced significant backlash late this week for suggesting during a podcast that he might not have been able to stop himself from participating in the mass slaughter of Jews on October 7.
The pseudo-intellectual made the remarks during an interview with far-left entertainer Trevor Noah, who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trevor-noah-compares-islamic-terror-against-israel-to-american-revolution" target="_blank" rel="noopener">compared</a> during the same interview Islamic terrorists to America&#8217;s Founding Fathers.
During the podcast, in which Coates made <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ta-nehisi-coates-suggests-he-would-have-participated-in-an-october-7-style-attack-on-israel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">numerous false claims</a>, he said that he thinks &#8220;a lot&#8221; about whether he would be &#8220;strong enough&#8221; to resist the urge to participate in the October 7 massacre, in which 1,200 people were brutally murdered, if he had been born in Gaza.
&#8220;Am I also strong enough or even constructed in such a way where I say this is too far?&#8221; he asked. &#8220;I don’t know that I am.&#8221;

Coates has been at the center of a scandal at CBS News, after employees objected to anchor Tony Dokoupil’s questioning of Coates about his stance on Israel. At one point, Dokoupil told Coates: “I have to say, when I read the book, I imagine if I took your name out of it, took away the awards, the acclaim, took the cover off the book, publishing house goes away, the content of that section would not be out of place in the backpack of an extremist.”
Now, amid the network’s denigration of Dokoupil, Coates has admitted he may have gone along with the extremists who slaughtered Israelis on October 7, 2023.

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has praised former President Donald Trump in a series of interviews over the last week for the strength that America projected overseas under his leadership.
In one interview, Johnson says that Trump is correct when he claims that Russia would never have invaded Ukraine if he had been president.
&#8220;I happen to believe that when Donald Trump says that had he been President in 2022, there would have been no Russian invasion of Ukraine,&#8221; Johnson said. &#8220;My view is that is a credible assertion. I really do think that&#8217;s credible.&#8221;

In a separate interview, Johnson went into greater depth about why he believes that Trump is tremendous on the foreign policy front.
&#8220;He stood up to Bashar Al Assad, the Syrian dictator,&#8221; he said. &#8220;He bombed him when he used chemical weapons — chemical weapons against his own people. Donald Trump hit back and Assad never used chemical weapons again. We talk about Iran. Trump took out Qassem Soleimani, the head of the IRGC Quds Force. Iran really went quiet after that.&#8221;
&#8220;And when it came to Putin, a lot of people say Trump is a big buddy of Putin,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;Well, I didn&#8217;t see that when I was foreign secretary. I saw Trump expel 60 Russian diplomats after they poisoned some people as you may remember, [when] the Russians poisoned people in our country with chemical weapons, with Novichok.&#8221;
Johnson noted that Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins, powerful shoulder-fired missiles, that Ukraine used to prevent Russia from rapidly overtaking the entire country.
&#8220;Everybody says he&#8217;s friendly with Putin, I don&#8217;t see that,&#8221; he said. &#8220;He gave the Ukrainians those shoulder-launched Javelin missiles, which were very important to Ukraine in the defense of Kyiv and routing Putin&#8217;s troops. So I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going to happen, but I have hope that Trump will, if Trump is elected, if Donald Trump is elected, that he will be the strong president overseas that I saw.&#8221;

Left-wing entertainer Trevor Noah this week compared Islamic terror attacks against Israel to America&#8217;s Founding Fathers fighting the British during the American Revolutionary War.
Noah made the remarks during an interview with far-Left activist Ta-Nehisi Coates about a new book that he wrote that is filled with <a href="https://x.com/Aizenberg55/status/1844369065017557207">false claims</a> about Israel.
The book is so extreme that a mainstream news anchor recently said it was a manuscript that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cbs-hires-dei-strategist-to-counsel-journalists-upset-by-questioning-of-ta-nehisi-coates">terrorists</a> would read.
“I have to say, when I read the book, I imagine if I took your name out of it, took away the awards, the acclaim, took the cover off the book, publishing house goes away, the content of that section would not be out of place in the backpack of an extremist,” said CBS News anchor Tony Dokoupil.
Noah said that people were outraged by Dokoupil&#8217;s assessment of the book because Coates was asked to answer legitimate questions about his claims.
&#8220;I sat there. I don&#8217;t get flabbergasted by much. I genuinely don&#8217;t. I sat down, I was like, what?&#8221; Noah said. &#8220;My first thought is, yes, but if you remove every context from everything, then everything could go anywhere. You know what I mean?&#8221;

Emhoff made the remarks in an interview with Joe Scarborough on &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; while discussing what he claimed was &#8220;misinformation and disinformation&#8221; being spread by former President Donald Trump against his wife.
&#8220;He&#8217;s spreading it about you, saying that tabloid stories about your personal life, saying it should be front and center,&#8221; Scarborough said.
Scarborough&#8217;s remarks appear to be a reference to a series of Daily Mail reports about Emhoff, including a report where he was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/doug-emhoff-accused-of-hitting-ex-girlfriend-in-the-face-at-high-profile-event-report">accused</a> of hitting his ex-girlfriend in the face.
&#8220;He&#8217;s saying it about your wife and making incredibly crude and lewd suggestions about her past life,&#8221; Scarborough continued. &#8220;I&#8217;m just wondering, how do you all stay centered? How do you stay disciplined and not really go off and not really push back hard at these things?&#8221;
Emhoff responded: &#8220;We don&#8217;t have time to be pissed off. We don&#8217;t have time to focus on it. It&#8217;s all a distraction. It&#8217;s designed to try to get us off our game.&#8221;
When asked if the allegations threw him off, he said they did not and that he and Harris are hyper-focused on the election right now.
&#8220;All that other stuff you&#8217;re talking about bounces off. It&#8217;s just a distraction,&#8221; he later claimed. &#8220;We&#8217;re not going to let it distract us.&#8221;

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis mocked a reporter during a press conference on Thursday for suggesting that global warming was responsible for the recent series of extreme weather events that have hit the state.
DeSantis made the remarks after the state was hit with two hurricanes over the last couple of weeks and dozens of tornadoes.
&#8220;I think you can go back and find tornadoes for all of human history,&#8221; DeSantis said, noting that the most recent hurricane that the state faced, Hurricane Milton, was not that powerful compared to the most powerful hurricanes the state has faced in its history.
The governor noted that Milton hit with a barometric pressure of approximately 950 millibars when it made landfall.
&#8220;If you go back to 1851, there&#8217;s probably been 27 hurricanes that have had lower barometric, so the lower the barometric pressure, the stronger it is,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I think there have been about 27 hurricanes that have had lower barometric pressure on landfall than Milton did, and of those, 17 occurred I think prior to 1960.&#8221;

&#8220;The most powerful hurricane on record since the 1850s in the state of Florida occurred in the 1930s, the Labor Day Hurricane, barometric pressure on that was 892 millibars,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;It totally wiped out the Keys. We&#8217;ve never seen anything like it, and that remains head and shoulders above any powerful hurricane that we&#8217;ve ever had in the state of Florida.&#8221;
He noted that the deadliest hurricane the state has ever faced was the Okeechobee hurricane in 1928, which killed more than 4,000 people.
&#8220;So I just think people should put this in perspective there,&#8221; he said. &#8220;They try to take different things that happen with tropical weather and act like it&#8217;s something, there&#8217;s nothing new under the sun. You know, this is something that the state has dealt with for its entire history, and it&#8217;s something that will continue to deal with.&#8221;
&#8220;I think what&#8217;s changed is we&#8217;ve got 23 million people, a storm that hits is likely to hit more people and property than it would have 100 years ago, and so the potential for that damage has grown, but what&#8217;s also changed is our ability to do the prevention, to pre-stage the assets,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I mean, we never did the pre-staging of power assets until I became governor. Now, people like expect that, but that wasn&#8217;t what was done in the past. That&#8217;s why people would be out with power for three weeks when we have hurricanes, we thought that that&#8217;s not good. Now we have to pay to get these guys to come in, but my view is, the quicker you get everyone hooked up, the better off the economy is going to be anyway.&#8221;

A former CBS News reporter said this week that the network has a history of releasing full transcripts of interviews with top Republicans.
The comments come as the network deals with a scandal involving its flagship weekly news program, &#8220;60 Minutes,&#8221; which deceptively edited remarks Vice President Kamala Harris made during an interview that aired this week.
&#8220;As Trump campaign calls on @60Minutes to release &#8216;full, unedited transcript&#8217; of Kamala Harris interview&#8230; There is precedent,&#8221; journalist Catherine Herridge <a href="https://x.com/C__Herridge/status/1844076585567027280">posted</a> on X. &#8220;When I interviewed then President Trump in July 2020 @CBSNews we posted the interview transcript.&#8221;
She noted that the transcript that the network released was of the full interview, not just of what aired on television.
Herridge noted that the left-wing network did the same thing for its 2019 interview with then-U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr.

Former President Donald Trump and his vice presidential running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), have called on the network to release all the footage from the interview.
The comments from Trump and Vance come after the show <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-demands-cbs-release-full-kamala-60-minutes-interview-after-footage-deceptively-altered">released two contradictory responses</a> from Harris in response to remarks made by host Bill Whitaker.

The moment happened when Whitaker was discussing with Harris the United States’ financial support for Israel in its war against genocidal Islamic terrorists in the region.
“But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening,” Whitaker said to Harris.
In a promotional clip that was posted by CBS News on Sunday, Harris responded to that statement from Whitaker by saying: “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”
However, when the full interview was published by the network on Monday night, that statement from Harris was nowhere to be found. Those words were not included anywhere in the television broadcast, nor did they appear in the interview when it was posted on YouTube, the interview’s transcript, or the show’s “Overtime” segment.
Instead, on television and in the interview posted online, Whitaker’s identical statement that “it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening” is followed by Harris saying: “We are not gonna stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.”
