Megyn Kelly torched Meghan Markle following reports that she won’t attend King Charles III’s coronation in London with her husband, Prince Harry, opting to remain in California with their kids instead.
The host of the Sirius XM “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast tweeted on Wednesday that the Duchess of Sussex won’t be traveling to the United Kingdom with the Duke of Sussex in May because of the cold reception she might receive.
“She [Markle] couldn’t face the thought of being booed publicly,” Kelly tweeted. “News flash Duchess: we’re already booing you whether you hear & see us or not.”

The former Fox News host’s post responded to GB News’ Dan Wootton, who also slammed the duchess’ decision.
“So Meghan bottles it, leaving Prince Harry to attend the Coronation alone in order to avoid boos from angry Brits in the crowd,” Wooton tweeted. “But how sad to deny the king the chance to see his two grandchildren who will remain in California.”

And they weren’t the only ones who reacted to the news about Prince Harry attending the coronation solo after Buckingham Palace confirmed reports the duchess of Sussex would stay in California with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Archie’s 4th birthday falls on the same day of the coronation, May 6.

“If everyone who knows you well agrees that your spouse is awful, what’s more likely — they are all wrong or your spouse is awful?” he added. “Not tough to see the truth here. Feel bad for Prince Harry, legitimately. He’s given up his entire family for an awful wife. Brutal.”

The king ascended the throne in September 2022 following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, at 96. Charles formally becomes the head of the monarchy when he’s crowned at London’s Westminster Abbey.
Relations between the royal couple and the family have not been the best following the Sussex’s initial decision to step down from their senior roles in January 2020. In 2021, the former “Suits” actress accused the royal family of racism during her tell-all interview on CBS with Oprah Winfrey.
