Entrepreneur Naval Ravikant, who has millions of followers on social media, said in an interview this week that he believes the Democrat Party&#8217;s weaponization of the justice system against former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> could destroy the country.
Ravikant made the remarks during an interview Friday with Sirius XM host Megyn Kelly while discussing his recent decision to wade into politics.
&#8220;It was the lawfare that kind of brought me off the sidelines,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s really disgusting behavior, because this is how you descend into a complete Banana Republic with military coups and military rule. The moment you can start weaponizing the law against your enemies selectively, that&#8217;s the beginning of the end.&#8221;
&#8220;As a clear example, if you were to actually look at the charges that were brought against Trump, and I actually read them quite carefully, I mean, these were really trumped up,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;They were really made up. You violated the statute of limitations. You tried to drum things up into a felony when there was no evidence of such. It was a miscategorization of business expenses. When you have complex business dealings, like I do, and like many people do, you can always find something.&#8221;
He said the &#8220;selective prosecution&#8221; that Democrats are enforcing against Trump comes out of the &#8220;progressive DA movement&#8221; that is funded by Democrat megadonor George Soros.
&#8220;If you want the case against Kamala Harris, it&#8217;s the fact that she was DA in San Francisco and San Francisco&#8217;s a mess,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And in fact, afterwards, she advocated for George Gascon, who&#8217;s the guy who is destroying LA through basically not prosecuting criminals and going after business owners.&#8221;

He said that selective prosecution is &#8220;the stuff that ends the Republic&#8221; or could turn the U.S. into a &#8220;one party state, better known as a dictatorship.&#8221;
&#8220;China is a one party state. North Korea is a one party state,&#8221; he said. &#8220;So I don&#8217;t use the words &#8216;one party state&#8217; lightly. But I think the weaponization of the justice system, the engagement, willingness to go into lawfare, that is the thing that will lead to violence. That is the thing that will lead to a dissolution and a breakup and something worse in the United States. So I think when these guys start playing with going after their political enemies, when Alvin Bragg runs on the explicit campaign to take down Trump, and then they go hunting through and looking for anything and drumming up any charge, and go after him in the most favorable juries in the most favorable part of the country, and then just control the evidence and control the narrative, is that is the beginning of the end.&#8221;
&#8220;And the people who in Silicon Valley and the donors who are out there supporting this lawfare, they&#8217;re dead to me,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I mean, these people are destroying the ground on which they stand. Do they think they won&#8217;t be next?&#8221;

Daily Wire podcast host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/matt-walsh">Matt Walsh</a> recently joined <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly">Megyn Kelly</a> to discuss his upcoming film, “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/am-i-racist">Am I Racist?</a>,” including how he kept from laughing at the absurdity of the conversations he was having.
Kelly began by asking Walsh about how he stayed in character for his 2022 smash hit documentary “What is a Woman?,” and again with this latest project, which has the podcast host speaking with people who are fully indoctrinated by DEI propaganda.
Walsh said the question he gets asked a lot about the process of making these kinds of films is about how he keeps a straight face.
“The truth is, stopping myself from laughing is pretty easy, it turns out, because when you’re actually in the room doing this and you’re in the room with these people in real time … it’s pretty intense. And these are really unpleasant people most of the time.”
Walsh said looking back on these conversations may be humorous, but that “in the moment, it’s actually not all that funny” watching “grifters” trying to break down normal people.
“It’s like this brainwashing session that you see in the movie that goes on over and over again,” he added.
Kelly commended Walsh for putting “all the craziest DEI pushers” into a single film to show people what’s going on in this industry. “They hate America, and they really don’t much like white people,” she said.
The pair next discussed Walsh’s disguise and how he didn’t need to go to great lengths to conceal his identity. The podcast host mentioned how it’s probably because most of the people he encountered exist in a bubble and don’t often associate with anyone who disagrees with them.

Walsh said he and the film crew used the participants&#8217; “arrogance and false sense of security” to secure interviews with a variety of race hustlers, including “White Fragility” author Robin D’Angelo.
Next, Walsh spoke about the frivolity of getting a DEI certification card, which requires little effort yet is used by certain individuals to make themselves sound important. “It’s all completely made up and really all it’s about is showing ideological alignment with these race hustlers,” he said.
During the same conversation, Kelly debuted a new clip from “Am I Racist?,” which involves Walsh speaking with anti-racist educator Kate Slater, who is proud of developing the “anti-racist road map.”

In the clip, Slater laments how her young daughter prefers “white princesses” when watching Disney movies.
Walsh responded by saying his 3-year-old daughter’s favorite princess is Moana. But he points out a challenge with that, mentioning how he’s concerned his daughter would be guilty of “cultural appropriation” by dressing like Moana for Halloween.
“Do I go and buy the Pacific Islander native attire for my white 3-year-old?” Walsh asked Slater, referring to it as “The Moana Problem.”
“I wouldn’t. I f***ing wouldn’t,” she replied.
“It’s almost like no matter which way you go, you end up back in racism,” he pointed out.
Slater blamed the issue on “living in a white supremacist society.”
“Is America an inherently racist country?” Walsh asked, to which Slater replied, “Fundamentally, yes, America is racist to its bones.&#8221;

Four veterans who knew Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) spoke about about his service in the National Guard — and his subsequent claims about that service — during an <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/exclusive-four-veterans-speak-out-about-tim-walzs-stolen/id1532976305?i=1000668077691" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with podcast host Megyn Kelly that was released on Monday.
The four spoke with Kelly about the multiple controversies surrounding Walz&#8217;s own characterizations of his 24 years of service, from his claim that he retired without knowing that his unit was set to deploy to Iraq to his repeated statements about &#8220;retiring as a Command Sergeant Major,&#8221; and they had very few positive things to say about the man now vying for the vice presidency alongside Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

One of the four accused Walz of using his exaggerations and embellishments to make it &#8220;all about him,&#8221; and another simply referred to him as a &#8220;military impersonator.&#8221;
&#8220;He&#8217;s a habitual liar, he lies about everything. He lies about stuff that doesn&#8217;t make sense,&#8221; one said. &#8220;You&#8217;re taking a piece of their thunder, and you&#8217;re trying to capture it and put it in a bottle for yourself, and use that for your own benefit.&#8221;
Fear is a reaction. Bravery is a decision,&#8221; he said later on in the episode, arguing that at every possible juncture, Walz had made the wrong choice.

During one part of the episode, Kelly compiled a series of clips in which Walz either introduced himself as a &#8220;retired Command Sergeant Major&#8221; — or someone else introduced him as such and he made no move to correct them — in spite of the fact that he only held that rank conditionally and for a brief period not extending to his retirement.
&#8220;So he &#8216;misspoke&#8217; a lot,'&#8221; Kelly said as the clips finished playing. &#8220;And just so the record&#8217;s clear, September 2005, Minnesota National Guard discovered that his paperwork had been filed — was erroneous — saying he was retiring as a Command Sergeant Major, and they updated it to show that he was retiring as an E-8 Master Sergeant.&#8221;
Kelly concluded the segment by pointing out the fact that every clip she&#8217;d played of Walz claiming to have retired as a Command Sergeant Major had been recorded after September of 2005, when that correction had been made: &#8220;He knew he had been demoted.&#8221;

In one of the interviews, Collins claimed that because she was from Alabama, she had &#8220;authority&#8221; to say that she is an unbiased source of news.
&#8220;The fact that she has some roots in Alabama does not make her a fair and balanced reporter,&#8221; Kelly said. &#8220;I will submit to the record, her biggest sin is not that she is biased, though she is, it’s that she has a boring personality.&#8221;
&#8220;I have a pro-tip for her, smile. Try smiling,&#8221; Kelly continued. &#8220;Try not to be in your delivery like such a cold-hearted b**** all the time, because it gives people nothing to bond to.&#8221;
Kelly then played multiple clips showing CNN&#8217;s strong pro-Democrat/anti-Republican bias.

Maher <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/bill-maher-rips-kaitlan-collins-over-cnns-bias-network-has-token-conservatives" target="_blank" rel="noopener">brought up</a> another recent interview that Collins had with Stephen Colbert on CBS where she and her network were laughed at when Colbert said that they were a straight news organization.
“You made press because you were on Stephen Colbert’s show, and he said something like, ‘You guys at CNN just report the news straight.’ And the crowd burst into laughter,” Maher said. “I’m a big rooter for CNN, but that tells you a lot, doesn’t it?”
Maher asked Collins how she thinks her network is doing in this “terribly divided country” where both sides “just hate the other side.”
Collins claimed her show was “evidence” that CNN is a place where both sides can watch and be engaged.
Maher slammed the network for its obvious bias, including loading up political panels so they were completely one-sided with only a single conservative facing off against several leftists.

At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris on Friday, Khelif was awarded the gold in the women’s welterweight final boxing match, prompting immediate reactions on social media.
The host of “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast blasted the move by writing, in all caps, about how unfair it was that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) awarded a boxer reportedly with XY chromosomes the gold medal.

When someone tried to claim the boxer was a female, <a href="https://x.com/piersmorgan/status/1822028011052646705">Morgan</a> shut them down by pointing out the facts. “Imane was banned from the World Championships after testing positive for male XY chromosomes.&#8221;
“[Imane] didn’t appeal it,&#8221; he added. &#8220;If [Imane&#8217;s] a biological woman, [Imane] should take another test now and prove it. Spoiler alert: [Imane] won’t.”
Former collegiate female swimmer and vocal advocate for women’s rights in sports, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/riley-gaines-reacts-to-lia-thomas-losing-challenge-to-compete-in-womens-olympic">Riley Gaines</a>, wrote on <a href="https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1822018729334730885">X</a> that “Khelif (XY) dominated World Champion Lang Liu (XX) to win an Olympic gold medal.&#8221;
“Let me repeat that: a MALE has taken a WOMAN&#8217;S Olympic gold,” Gaines wrote.
“This is what they call this ‘progress,’” she added. “It&#8217;s the ultimate betrayal of fairness, safety, and women by [IOCmedia].”
The official social media account for the Independent Women’s Forum wrote on its <a href="https://x.com/IWF/status/1822020269399273721">post</a>, “BREAKING: A MALE has taken a women’s Olympic gold in boxing.”
“The [iocmedia’s] decision to let Imane Khelif (XY) compete is a betrayal to women &amp; fairness + safety,” it added. “Yang Liu is the deserving winner of the gold.  #Olympics #IStandWithYangLiu.”
Khelif previously failed gender eligibility tests by the IBA, but was allowed by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) to compete against biological women in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Olympics has formally cut ties with the IBA, which the IOC now dismisses as &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/boxer-who-failed-gender-tests-wins-gold-in-womens-boxing-without-dropping-single-round-entire-olympic-run">not credible</a>,&#8221; and allows boxers to compete based on the gender listed on their passports rather than any gender-related testing.

Harris has not taken a single question from the media since effectively clinching the Democrats&#8217; presidential nomination weeks ago. This prompted Trump VP pick JD Vance to ask reporters who were waiting for Harris why the Democrat has not take questions from them. Notably, the press did not offer a response.
“It’s humiliating to them, that’s why they weren’t laughing,&#8221; Klavan <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYDobQFgrg0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> journalist Megyn Kelly. &#8220;That’s why they were backing up as if he were assaulting them.&#8221;

Klavan also noted that there is no audio or video of Harris actually walking back her radical positions; instead, some campaign staffers have suggested she has flip-flopped and is now a moderate.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly">Megyn Kelly</a> blasted Vice President Kamala Harris for the “deceptive” editing by her campaign of former President Donald Trump’s call with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz from the 2020 riots in Minneapolis.
During the Sirius XM “The Megyn Kelly Show” <a href="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-megyn-kelly-show/id1532976305" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a> on Thursday, the host and Daily Wire host Andrew Klavan blasted Harris’ campaign for claiming that Trump praised Walz’s handling of the riots, when it was actually the other way around. (10:15) 
Kelly said the Harris campaign wasn’t being truthful, and the call was actually Trump calling out Walz for screwing up while the city of Minneapolis burned — before the governor finally took Trump’s advice and called out the National Guard on the third day of riots.
The podcast host played the part of the call the Harris campaign has released of Trump saying, “I fully believe with the way Walz handled it, he’s an excellent guy.” 
However, Kelly said that the entire call gives a very different impression: Trump suggests that Walz&#8217;s initial handling of the riots on the first day was horrible. &#8220;You could hear him saying, ‘We’ve got all these men and women, we&#8217;ve got all the people you need, but people calling them up. You have to dominate &#8230;  You have to use the National Guard,'&#8221; according to Kelly.
“That’s the context in which he praised them,” Kelly said. “You sucked in the beginning. Then I [Trump] talked to you and told you what to do and you got better.”
She then played the full version, in which Trump was on the phone and said he wanted to talk to Walz and have him explain “the difference between the beginning and the end” of the riots.

Walz then got on the phone and thanked Trump for his &#8220;strategic guidance&#8221; and that it was &#8220;very helpful.”
Trump then talked to Walz about governors being hesitant to call the National Guard for help and noted that the first night, Walz only called for 200 people — which Trump said “wasn’t successful.”
Kelly said, “Can you believe how deceptively that call has been edited?”
“The whole point of the call was Trump saying you were screwing it up then you talked to me and my defense secretary,” she added. “We told you to get the National Guard in there. By the way, you didn’t get all of them in enough numbers.”
“And only when you did, did things get better for you,” Kelly continued. “And he’s talking with the other governors saying, that’s what you have to do. It has to be…in huge numbers in order to get the results you want. And Kamala Harris has released that with just those little snippets of praise as if Trump endorsed Tim Walz’s approach to this.”
Kelly also talked about the failure of the legacy media to do the work, pointing out the fact that her team didn’t get their hands on some “secret” phone call and saying that the truth of the call between Trump and Walz has been available since 2020.

Kelly made the remarks on Wednesday after Harris revealed on Tuesday that she had selected Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) to be her running mate. Actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-woods" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Woods</a> revealed in a rare interview that he was advised to keep his involvement with box office smash &#8220;Oppenheimer&#8221; under wraps over fears that his &#8220;pro-Trump&#8221; leanings would stand in the way of Oscars success.
Woods told Sirius XM host and Daily Wire voice talent Megyn Kelly that when he signed on to the Christopher Nolan project, there was a conversation among others associated with the film about his Twitter account.
&#8220;When &#8216;Oppenheimer&#8217; came out, there was a discussion about my Twitter, and it was gently suggested that I basically remain invisible, which was painful — on the other hand, I’m a pragmatic person and I thought, a lot of people put their effort into this, so I’m just going to be an invisible pariah because the people who are going to be voting for Oscars, which is very important,&#8221; Woods said, recalling that when he had first announced his support for former President Donald Trump, he&#8217;d been unceremoniously dropped by his agent on the 4th of July.
Woods went on to explain that ultimately, because he did not want to see others who had worked on the film miss out on acclaim or awards because his name was attached to the project, he agreed to keep his role quiet.
&#8220;I don’t want to deprive those people. I don’t want to have some nutcase come out of the woodwork, fabricate some ridiculous story about me — I’ve had a million of them said, they’re all lies — I don’t want that to happen and have the clickbait story be, &#8216;James Woods is the executive producer, we’re not going to watch that movie!&#8217; So I stepped back and basically took one for the team,&#8221; he said.

During the special coverage of “The Megyn Kelly Show” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/live/l1UGtmVT5u4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a>, the host said that she believes Trump will win in November, because “I am now one of the people who will walk over broken glass to make sure I cast my vote. And I know it won’t be alone.” 
“I think now you are going to see formerly blue states rush to pull the lever for Donald Trump,” <a href="https://www.megynkelly.com/2024/07/13/megyn-kelly-reaction-to-trump-shooting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kelly said</a>. “I thought it was bad before tonight, and I think my fellow Americans will understand how important it is to send a message loud and clear to the people who want to change our country that we won’t allow it; that we are not going to lose sight of one another; that we are not going to continue trying to ruin each other, end each other.”
“And after Mr. Trump was removed in ‘The Beast’ and two of his most ardent fans were shot dead or within an inch of their life, the American flag still waved,” she added. “The remnants at the site scattered the ground. And yet much like 9/11, after it was all over, the American flag still waved over the now empty area.”

Kelly concluded her coverage by explaining why “President Trump needs to win this election. Period.”
“It’s not about him anymore. It’s about us,” the host said. “So, I hope you’ll vote, I hope you’ll vote Republican, and I hope you’ll say a prayer for President Trump and his family and, indeed, for President Biden and our elected leaders. Following the shooting, Trump released a statement thanking &#8220;the United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response.&#8221;
“Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured,” it added. “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country.”
“Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead,” Trump continued. “I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”

Daily Wire podcast host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/andrew-klavan">Andrew Klavan</a> spoke to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly">Megyn Kelly</a> on Tuesday about the Democrats&#8217; possible next moves following President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate.
During Klavan’s appearance on Sirius XM&#8217;s “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4fK9-99IkQ">The Megyn Kelly Show</a>” podcast, Kelly asked Klavan what the Democrats can do after Biden struggled and stumbled during CNN&#8217;s presidential debate against former President Donald Trump.
“And so, I&#8217;m not convinced that the elected Democrats are going to stand behind him. … They don’t want Kamala Harris,&#8221; Kelly said. &#8220;That’s the big question: What do you do with a problem like Kamala?”
“This is their fault,” Klavan said. “They created this situation. Joe Biden said he was going to appoint a minority woman to the vice presidency. He did. He forgot to ask about qualifications. … Obviously, Kamala Harris is not fit to be president. She actually still has all her marbles, but she can’t do the job.”
“And so they don’t know what to do because how do you solve a problem like Kamala? How do you replace her without violating the identity politics?” he added. “How do you find a politician who looks like a centrist, but will allow the party to follow the Left-wing agenda as Joe Biden has?”

The Daily Wire host pointed out that the “mainstream of the Democrat party is very far Left.” He also said the party would have a difficult time letting a moderate “come in there and change direction.”
“So, you can’t bring on a white man like the Governor of Kentucky [Andy Beshear],” Klavan said. “You have to find at least a female to replace him [Biden]. And who have you got? You’ve got [Michigan Governor] Gretchen Whitmer. … She’s getting a lot of buzz.”

“I really dislike Gretchen Whitmer because of the way she behaved during the COVID crisis…” Klavan added. “But she’s a fairly popular governor in that state, and that state has been a swing state, so she might be their best bet.”
Klavan said the presidency isn’t like a TV show and he’s not convinced the Democrats will be able to move someone in like former first lady Michelle Obama to take Biden’s place, like some pundits have speculated.
“So I really think they are stuck,” he said, noting a pollster he follows who suggested the Democrats might be able to get away with replacing Biden with someone like Whitmer for the Democratic nominee and Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock as the Vice President.
Following the Biden-Trump debate, Kelly said during her 2024 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6Nqbo2oUgI">Post-Debate Special</a>, “In my view, it is over for Joe Biden. His presidential campaign came to an end tonight, whether he knows it or not. There will be meetings tonight, first thing tomorrow amidst Democratic Party leaders about how to get him off the ticket.”
“How to change into someone else. There have to be,” she added. “Already, we are seeing some reaction from top Democrats, who rarely criticize the president, suggesting he needs to have a serious look at this performance tonight and assess for himself whether he can go forward.”

North Dakota Governor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/doug-burgum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Doug Burgum</a> said our adversaries around the world see “weakness” in President Joe Biden following Biden’s disastrous presidential debate on Thursday.
Speaking to <a href="https://x.com/realDailyWire/status/1806715314777813083">The Daily Wire&#8217;s</a> Cabot Phillips following CNN&#8217;s first presidential debate between Biden and former President Donald Trump, Burgum said that the security of the United States is in danger after Biden stumbled and rambled through the 90-minute debate.
“Even more concerning, we know who else is watching this debate tonight &#8230; Putin was watching, the Ayatollahs were watching, Xi was watching in China,” Burgum told Phillips. “And I feel like this is a national security risk for our country.”
“Because what the world saw was weakness from our leader in the White House, the guy who’s making the decisions. … We’re in a real danger period for now between now and November,” he added.

Burgum also talked about how Americans who are hurting might be feeling after watching Biden struggle to answer questions and sound coherent when it comes to major issues like the immigration crisis and the economy.
“If you’re a working family that today is suffering from high interest rates, from inflation, from the open border and its effect on your public safety, all of those folks that are looking for an answer tonight did not get one from Joe Biden,” the governor said.
“And again, that’s Democrats, Independents, Republicans, if they came looking for an answer, they didn’t find it,” he added.

Burgum also reacted to the headlines after the debate claiming Democrats were in a “panic” after Biden’s performance and was asked if he thinks Biden will be the nominee.
“Well, Democrats are going to have to make that decision,” Burgum said. “They created this situation four years ago and they created this decision with their VP pick. If they had a great VP, I don’t think the headlines would [read] panic.”
“President Trump is in such a strong position right now, heading to a rally in Virginia tomorrow,” he added. “You can expect tonight after this performance, people coming off the sidelines in terms of financial support for President Trump. You’re going to see people who were undecided moving into his camp.”
Burgum wasn’t alone in his assessment about Biden’s debate performance. Following the debate, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/megyn-kelly-says-it-is-over-for-joe-biden-following-trump-biden-presidential-debate">Megyn Kelly</a> said, “In my view, it is over for Joe Biden.”
