Amazon founder <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jeff-bezos">Jeff Bezos</a>’ fiancee Lauren Sanchez has been facing a lot of backlash over the revealing outfit she wore to the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/inauguration">inauguration</a> of President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a> on Tuesday, including from journalist Megyn Kelly.
Kelly didn’t mince words when it came to reviewing Sanchez’s decision to wear a low-cut lace corset under a white pantsuit for the event. “She has no class. No dignity. No respect,” the political commentator wrote on X in response to a photo of Sanchez.
“This is not my first time saying that she dresses like a hooker, because she does,” Kelly said during her Sirius XM show, referring to comments she made last year about how Sanchez, 55, dressed for Bezos’ 60th birthday party. 
“Have some dignity and some respect for your setting and your circumstances,” Kelly went on. “No one should be talking about your t*ts. Sorry. They should be talking about the inauguration.”

Many social media users had the same reaction as Kelly, calling out Sanchez for her choice of clothing.
“Thanks for expressing what we were all thinking. Money evidently cannot buy you class or refinement,” one person <a href="https://x.com/La_Diana/status/1881769978149691654">replied</a> on X.

There were also multiple memes circulating featuring Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg appearing to take a peek at Sanchez’s cleavage while he was seated next to her in the Capitol Rotunda.
It appears Sanchez wore the same outfit to a New York Times DealBook event in December. She took a selfie and posted it on Instagram at the time.
Bezos proposed to Sanchez in May 2023 after five years of dating. As of Tuesday afternoon, she hasn’t responded to comments about her revealing outfit besides liking several supportive replies on Instagram.
Sanchez wasn’t the only one who faced backlash for her outfit choice. Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman (D) was criticized for arriving at the formal inauguration ceremony sporting his signature shorts, hoodie, and sneakers combination despite the below freezing temps on Tuesday.

Underwood will sing “America the Beautiful” at the swearing-in ceremony with American Tenor Christopher Macchio doing the National Anthem, along with Lee Greenwood performing.
“The pageantry is wonderful. I’m excited about all of that,” Greenwood told The <a href="https://apnews.com/article/kid-rock-jason-aldean-trump-inauguration-aee5bc61e0abeafa8a8bf28f110a179c">Associated Press</a>. “I’m excited to sing yet again for President of the United States and particularly my friend Donald J. Trump.”
The day of the inauguration, several balls will take place with Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, singer Gavin DeGraw, and country star Parker McCollum booked to entertain guests.
Following news of Underwood’s involvement, the country singer released a statement that read, “I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event.”

The manslaughter charge was eventually dropped allowing the jury to deliberate on the lesser charge in an effort <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/heres-why-the-state-dropped-top-charge-in-daniel-penny-case-and-why-defense-is-calling-foul">to find a guilty verdict</a>. When the Jury returned to work on Monday, it took them less than an hour to return a not guilty verdict.

Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard.
During Knowles&#8217; appearance on “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJtm5Tox8Z0">The Megyn Kelly Show</a>” podcast, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kelly</a> said “we are really at a crossroads here about whether we are going to sacrifice these nominees because of checkered personal pasts or not. It’s not going to get easier after Pete.”
“I&#8217;m not surprised that the media and Democrats want to tank Pete Hegseth, and to me, that&#8217;s a real mark of confidence in his nomination,&#8221; Knowles said. &#8220;I really like Pete Hegseth … Pete is one of the first guys that I met when I got into political media.&#8221;

Knowles said there’s “real political risk here for President Trump” if Hegseth goes down like his recent pick for Attorney General, Matt Gaetz.

“I understand why he accepted Matt Gaetz’s removal from the AG nomination,” the Daily Wire host said. “But now there&#8217;s a little bit of blood in the water as a result of that. And so, it seems to me, there is a major risk…”
“If Hegseth were to go down, you know all the attention is next going to be on Bobby Kennedy, then it&#8217;s going to be on Tulsi Gabbard, who knows &#8212; it&#8217;s going to be on Ron DeSantis, if they put Ron DeSantis up for defense secretary. I don&#8217;t think that ends the problem. I think in many ways, it would exacerbate it.”
Kelly said Republicans are going to have to “find their steely spines” because when it comes to RFK Jr., he makes Hegseth look like the “consummate boy scout” in comparison. She then pointed out that Gabbard is going to be labeled a “Russian foreign agent,” saying “there’s going to be tens of anonymous sources” claiming her connections to Bashar al-Assad.
Knowles joked that “the letter is already being written” to discredit her, comparing it to the letter written by “51 former and present intelligence officials” to discredit the authenticity of the Hunter Biden laptop during the 2020 election.

Trump&#8217;s nominee for Secretary of Defense, combat veteran <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/pete-hegseth" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pete Hegseth</a>, came out swinging on Wednesday, during his first sit-down interview since being tapped for the position.
Hegseth has been the subject of numerous legacy media attacks since his nomination, including one from NBC News fueled by anonymous sources and another from The New York Times which included the publishing of a leaked private email from Hegseth&#8217;s mother.
Speaking to journalist Megyn Kelly, Hegseth said he&#8217;s done letting the media run with stories about him. &#8220;What has been said about me, it was so ridiculous and all anonymous that we didn&#8217;t want to give it oxygen. You don&#8217;t want to respond to things that don&#8217;t merit a response,&#8221; he said. &#8220;But going forward &#8230; it&#8217;s our time to stand up and tell the truth and our side.&#8221;
The former Fox News host claimed what&#8217;s happening to him now is a &#8220;smear&#8221; job.
&#8220;It is the classic &#8216;art of the smear,'&#8221; he told Kelly. &#8220;Take whatever tiny kernels of truth, and there are tiny, tiny ones in there, and blow them up into a masquerade of a narrative about somebody that I&#8217;m definitely not.&#8221;
He also ripped the media for &#8220;never asking the people who were involved directly&#8221; while they&#8217;ve reported on him.
&#8220;I&#8217;ve got a list right here of people,&#8221; he said, pulling out a sheet of paper from his coat pocket. &#8220;Will Cain and my hosts at Fox News have come out, all the folks on &#8216;Fox &amp; Friends&#8217; have all come out and said, &#8216;this is not Pete, and we&#8217;ve worked with Pete for 10 years, every single morning, every single day.&#8221;

A recent NBC News story suggested Hegseth has a drinking problem and repeatedly showed up to work drunk. The story was only backed by anonymous sources, and soon after it was published, Hegseth’s old Fox News colleagues jumped to his defense &#8212; on record. His two former “Fox &amp; Friends” co-hosts Will Cain and Rachel Campos-Duffy, for example, called the report “horse s***” and said NBC never bothered to reach out to them.
&#8220;They never asked those people,&#8221; Hegseth told Kelly. &#8220;And that&#8217;s what a smear looks like. It&#8217;s a couple anonymous nuggets, usually from disgruntled people who are fired for cause, who are jealous or want a little bit of retribution. And so they peddle stuff to reporters who are not interested in the truth, they&#8217;re interested in smearing someone who supports Donald Trump&#8217;s agenda. It&#8217;s really clear.&#8221;
Hegseth also told Kelly that he has the support of Trump, whom he met with this morning, and has had positive meetings with U.S. Senators.
&#8220;Trump told me, &#8216;You&#8217;re going to need to be tough as s***,'&#8221; Hegseth recalled. &#8220;But he paused again as I was walking away and said, &#8216;But you&#8217;re the man for this moment, I chose you because you&#8217;re the guy that&#8217;s going to put the warfighters first. &#8230; Clean house of the woke crap.'&#8221;
&#8220;&#8216;Hey Pete, I got your back. It&#8217;s a fight. They&#8217;re coming after you &#8212; get after it,'&#8221; Hegseth said Trump told him.
&#8220;My meetings with (senators) have been fantastic,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;No one has looked me in the eye and said, &#8216;I have concerns and I can&#8217;t vote for you.&#8217; In fact, most have said, let&#8217;s take a picture, and I&#8217;m behind you all the way. And that&#8217;s a reflection of Donald Trump and the strength of his election, but also the mandate to change something at the Defense Department. We&#8217;re not backing down one bit.&#8221;
In addition to his rough go with the press, it was uncovered last month that Hegseth was accused of sexual assault back in 2017. An unnamed woman claims Hegseth sexually assaulted her in a hotel room following a conservative conference. Hegseth said that the encounter was consensual, and police decided against any further action.

During “The Megyn Kelly Show” <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nNwiYGN7K8">podcast</a> on Monday, the host reacted to the news that Biden had pardoned his son for any federal crimes Hunter &#8220;committed or may have committed” over the span of 11 years.
“President Biden did something he and his media allies have promised over and over and over again that he would not do,” Kelly said. “This guy is an abject liar. He has the nerve to while he&#8217;s telling yet another lie, which is that he doesn&#8217;t lie, to keep lying at every turn, he just lies.”
“He&#8217;s trying to make a victim out of him [Hunter], and as opposed to like, if you guys lied and said that your payments on strippers and hookers were tax write-offs, like you wouldn&#8217;t be prosecuted,” she added. “It was just poor Hunter who had to deal with that, and it was really just his addiction, like, if usually addicts just get passed, it&#8217;s only poor Hunter who didn&#8217;t.”

The host also related Biden’s treatment of his son to what her own family went through with addiction after her <a href="https://www.megynkelly.com/watch/megyn-pays-tribute-to-the-life-and-legacy-of-her-sister-suzanne-crossley/">late sister Suzanne</a> Crossley got “swept up into the Opioid crisis” and died in 2022.
“So she started taking this drug, and sure enough, she got addicted … her life went to hell,” the host said. “And my poor sister&#8217;s life got completely blown up by this thing, by this addiction, to the point where she ultimately … found herself in the throes of the criminal law … And you know what she did? She had to handle it.”
“She had to get a public defender. She had to handle the penalty. She didn&#8217;t go to jail or anything like that, but it remained a mark on her record forever,” she added.
“And you know what that does to a person? You can&#8217;t get a job. You cannot get a damn job because it&#8217;s on there, and no one gives a damn that you were addicted,” Kelly continued. “No one cares about that back story I just gave to you.”

Journalist and attorney <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megyn Kelly</a> <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/megyn-kelly-suggests-sex-assault-accusation-against-pete-hegseth-doesnt-pass-smell-test" target="_blank" rel="noopener">further discussed</a> her thoughts on the sexual assault accusation swirling around Trump Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth on Friday, going through the police report line-by-line with her audience on &#8220;The Megyn Kelly Show.&#8221;
Kelly said, in her opinion, it appears the accusation is &#8220;bulls***&#8221; and the woman was &#8220;not raped,&#8221; but panicked after her husband became suspicious that she cheated with Hegseth.
A police report concerning the allegation against Hegseth, a decorated combat veteran and former Fox News host, was released on Wednesday in response to a public records request. An unnamed woman claims Hegseth sexually assaulted her in a hotel room back in 2017. Hegseth said that the encounter was consensual and police decided against any further action.
Reading the police report, Kelly noted how the accuser stopped sending texts to someone who&#8217;s unnamed, but appears to be her husband, while she was in Hegseth&#8217;s hotel room. The woman later told him she had &#8220;fallen asleep&#8221; and that&#8217;s why she didn&#8217;t answer him. According to Hegseth, this was the same story the accuser told Hegseth she would tell her husband after expressing panic to Hegseth about how she cheated.
&#8220;That&#8217;s it right there, folks. That&#8217;s why they did not bring charges,&#8221; Kelly told her audience. &#8220;The cops are looking at these text messages.&#8221;
&#8220;The husband is saying to her, you&#8217;re never out this late, it&#8217;s 2 a.m. Then the text message cuts off. He says, &#8216;Where are you? Are you okay?&#8217; [to] no response. And she was seen going to Pete Hegseth&#8217;s room at 1:30 a.m., so by 2, she&#8217;s there,&#8221; Kelly continued. &#8220;The communication with the husband ends while she&#8217;s in Pete&#8217;s room. She doesn&#8217;t respond to any of those texts, he gets up and looks for her, and within two hours she&#8217;s home.&#8221;
&#8220;At 1:30 a.m. on the tape, she doesn&#8217;t look intoxicated; in the bar, she doesn&#8217;t look intoxicated, and here we are at 4 a.m., and the husband is saying she doesn&#8217;t look intoxicated, [saying,] &#8216;she wasn&#8217;t having a hard time walking,&#8217; &#8216;she was not slurring her words.'&#8221;

The accuser apologized, &#8220;and what was the story she told? That she must have fallen asleep &#8212; the very same story that she told Pete Hegseth that she would tell the husband,&#8221; Kelly said. &#8220;Pete and the husband are not talking, they are not coordinating stories.&#8221;
Hegseth told authorities that the encounter was consensual and the woman had panicked that she cheated on her husband and she was going to tell him this lie, Kelly emphasized, pointing out that the accuser told her husband &#8220;the very same lie that she told Pete she would.&#8221;
&#8220;This woman was not raped,&#8221; Kelly said. &#8220;This is a bullshit accusation.&#8221;
Kelly also noted how the accuser refused to participate in a pre-textual conversation with Hegseth after authorities asked her to do so. This could have been, Kelly explained, because the accuser knew Hegseth would come back with &#8220;facts&#8221; and not fool the police.
The police report also details how the accuser contracted BV, or bacterial vaginosis, after having relations with Hegseth. This caused contention with the accuser and her husband. At one point, the woman asks her husband &#8220;to use a condom&#8221; when they had sex, for example.
Hegseth has maintained that the encounter did take place, but was completely consensual.
“This police report confirms what I’ve said all along, that the incident was fully investigated, and police found the allegations to be false, which is why no charges were filed,” Timothy Parlatore, an attorney for Hegseth, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/21/politics/pete-hegseth-police-report-defense-secretary-trump/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> on Wednesday.

&#8220;The cops chose not to prosecute,&#8221; Kelly continued. &#8220;If they had found date rape drug in her system &#8212; she said she had a rape exam the next morning &#8212; they 100% would have prosecuted him.&#8221;
&#8220;So, to me, that one smells,&#8221; Kelly said. &#8220;And it smells bad.&#8221;

The police report says that Hegseth told authorities that he repeatedly sought the consent of the woman and made sure she was &#8220;comfortable with what was going on.&#8221; Video footage from the hotel shows the pair leaving a hotel bar with their arms locked together.
Hegseth&#8217;s attorney confirmed that his client paid the woman an undisclosed amount of money and had a confidentiality agreement out of fear that the woman would try to ruin Hegseth&#8217;s career, despite the host maintaining that the encounter was consensual.

During Kelly&#8217;s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_3NcoXrAdQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2024 election special</a>, Shapiro, known for his &#8220;facts don’t care about your feelings&#8221; adage, was asked by Kelly how he was feeling. He replied, &#8220;I don’t do feelings.&#8221;
The Daily Wire host then added that “early indicators” in places like his home state of Florida could show “good bellwethers” as the polling locations start closing across the country for the election between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.
“I’ve heard some indicators, some rumblings, from people inside some of the campaigns in Pennsylvania that she, Kamala Harris, is not getting the urban turnout that she’s looking for, thus far,” the Daily Wire host said. “But rural turnout is really, really high, which is, of course, precisely what Trump needs.”
“So again, I think that cautious optimism is probably the only response given the data that we are seeing thus far,” he added. “One of the things that I just find hard to comprehend is the possibility that anybody would be enthusiastic voting for her.”

“This is the thing I keep coming back to in this election cycle. I have heard a lot of people make the case for Trump. Because that case does not exist. Kamala Harris can’t even make a case for Kamala Harris.”
Kelly pointed out that some exit polls showed voters put the economy and immigration as their top concerns this election. Shapiro agreed, but pointed out that CNN exit polls had included an option for Democracy, which topped its exit polls, followed by the economy. Shapiro said it&#8217;s clear that Donald Trump’s vote is showing up and the real question is whether Kamala&#8217;s vote is going to show up.

Famed “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling also wrote on <a href="https://x.com/jk_rowling/status/1853406500770758840">X</a> in response to the article, “Every gender activist in my mentions: &#8216;But Vogue,'&#8221; a reference to <a href="https://www.vogue.com/article/algerian-boxer-imane-khelif-scores-olympic-gold" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vogue article&#8217;s</a> claiming that Khelif was a woman. 
Tennis legend Martina Navratilova reacted to the <a href="https://x.com/Martina/status/1853546062738505859">report</a> and wrote that it showed “what we have been saying for months. And for calling his person a man or at least a male, we got called all kinds of names and most of all the women this male took medals and wins from. Just awful.”
Former collegiate swimmer and vocal advocate for women’s sports <a href="https://x.com/Riley_Gaines_/status/1853416147225387212">Riley Gaines</a> said, “Remember the man who won an Olympic gold medal in women’s boxing? His medical reports show he has XY chromosomes, male testosterone levels, testicles, &amp; a micropenis. But that never mattered—they believe that words &amp; feelings make you woman, not biology.”
OutKick’s <a href="https://x.com/ClayTravis/status/1853454687128719585">Clay Travis</a> added, “Remember the male Olympic boxer who won a women’s gold medal after beating the crap out of all the women? Well<a href="https://x.com/ReduxxMag"> @ReduxxMag</a> has the medical reports that prove he’s a man. And just published them.”
Former top of Levi executive — and now founder of a pro-women sport’s apparel brand — Jennifer Sey <a href="https://x.com/JenniferSey/status/1853545989132472498">wrote,</a> “Imane is biologically male &amp; has male advantage, however he identifies. “I don&#8217;t care what he calls himself, I only care that he is not permitted to compete in women&#8217;s boxing. He won a gold medal at the Olympics in an unfair fight. He needs to be stripped of it.”
Khelif previously failed gender eligibility tests administered by the IBA, but was allowed by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) to compete against biological women in the 2024 Paris Olympics, since the Olympics’ gender eligibility standard for boxing is based merely on a fighter’s passport.
Opponents of Khelif and advocates for girls and women’s spaces in sports spoke out about the gender controversy, but the legacy news media maintained that Khelif was female and categorized any dissent as “false gender claims,” as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/french-journalist-claims-medical-report-proves-olympic-boxer-who-took-gold-in-womens-division-a-man?topStoryPosition=2">reported</a>.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megyn Kelly</a> announced on Monday that she will appear with former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Donald Trump</a> at his final rally in the battleground state of Pennsylvania before Election Day.
The host of Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” <a href="https://x.com/MegynKellyShow/status/1853486787735249286">podcast</a> told her listeners that she got a call from the Trump campaign and explained why she decided to appear on stage with him on Monday night to make the case to voters for Trump before they go out and vote.
“Over the weekend, we got an invitation that we never really expected to get and that was from Team Trump to show up tonight in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and for yours truly to make some remarks on the president’s behalf or really, more accurately, just to explain why I’m voting for him,” Kelly said. “And I said yes.”
“And I will proudly explain to that audience and beyond why I think it is absolutely essential that he wins this election and that we not put [Vice President] Kamala Harris into the Oval Office as our president,” she added, noting the “dishonest” and “corrupt” things the media has done to Trump this election.
“This election, for the first time ever, I told the audience who I’m voting for. I’ve explained in bits and pieces why… and tonight I’ll say it to the people in Pennsylvania – the most, or at least one of the most, critical swing states of all,” Kelly continued. “And I hope women will listen to me – the women, young and old, who are reportedly registering in big numbers right now especially on the Dem side. I believe a lot of them believe the lies they are being told about what Kamala Harris is going to do for you on abortion.”

Kelly encouraged people to go back and listen to her breakdown from Friday’s show about abortion and the spurious claims coming from Harris and the Left ahead of the election. 
“Wish me luck tonight. And wish Trump luck,” Kelly said. 
During the host’s show on <a href="https://x.com/MegynKellyShow/status/1853165250675368005" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Friday</a>, Kelly gave reasons for why voters, particularly women, should vote for Trump. She pointed out that, regardless of what you are hearing from Harris about abortion, the Vice President will never be able to “pass an abortion law that covers all 50 states.”
“She neither has the power nor the votes to do that. You lost that fight when the Dobbs decision came down,” Kelly said. “I know you’re upset over it, but what you need to do is accept the half a loaf you have been given. Pro-lifers, my advice applies to you too: Accept the half a loaf you have been given.”

“Abortion is not a federal issue,” she added. “It is not a constitutional issue. It is a state’s rights issue. If this is very important to you, get out of the states that have the bans or get out of the states that allow late-term abortion. Otherwise, be glad that we are back to the 50 state experiment that the Founder Fathers envisioned.”
“If this is your issue, vote in your state elections,” the podcast host continued. “Who you elect as governor really matters. Who you elect as your state congressman or assemblyman or senator really matters. … Abortion will never be unlawful in all 50 states of the United States of America – ever – nor will it have the permission slip it did under the Roe regime. That was yesterday. I am telling you how things are today, and no vote in a presidential election will change that.”
