On Thursday, in Sydney, Australia, one of the weirdest fights you’ll ever see broke out on a commuter train, with two men pummeling each other for roughly 30 seconds before they suddenly hugged and made up. A fellow commuter captured the altercation and posted it on social media.
The incident began when an older slovenly-looking man accosted a young neatly-dressed man who was seated. The older man started swearing at the young man, who responded by telling the older man to “f*** off.” The older man then yelled, “Let’s go. I’m gonna smash you, brother,” prompting the younger man to reply, “Mate, you’ve got no chance.”
The younger man, after enduring more verbal abuse, finally got up and punched the older man, triggering a brawl that found them fighting across the aisle. Another commuter said, “Call the police,” while another passenger said, “I’ve got it all on camera, mate.”
Finally, the young man got to his feet and stated, “Look, you had a crack at me first. This is not how I intended my night to go … I’m trying to get home, I have work in the morning … If you don’t mean it, I don’t mean it.”
Then they hugged, causing the other passengers to say, “Aw” and laugh.
